It was good. The staff were extra helpful then usual. I usually go to Jerry’s in Springfield but they close at eight. Appreciate the hours. The lack of five stars is Home Depot is overpriced. But hey, I get it.

There is an employee that needs to be reprimanded, her name is Kassie. While I was in line to purchase some hardware for my kitchen, Kassie was making fun of a customer at the register. I noticed other customers were looking at Kassie with bewilderment and confusion. I dont think this location is friendly, I think Ill go to Jerrys from now on. One star rating is being nice in this case.

Where do I start? Went to purchase shelving I have bought twice already. Great product and adding more. They were out of stock, but floor model advertised at a discounted price. Set up, this unit is 7 tall and 7 wide. No one is moving this without a trailer. I asked for the sale price when new stock came in. Clerk said he wasnt sure if the price on the sign was accurate. What??? Its on your tag, your bar code, with Home Depot stamped on it. I politely told him I intended to get the sale price. He told me I could try but not to expect anything. Maybe theyd give me a couple bucks off.Its not a bait and switch if you dont have anything to switch to.Did you really put sale price on a unit no one will buy because they cant move it, intending to jack the price back up when the product is back in stock? I doubt that. Huge waste of time. Especially if youre doing it throughout your store.

I have had a Home Depot card for years and use it every couple of months, always paying on time and paying it off early. When I swiped it to pay for a freezer, it was declined. Sales person called to find out why and handed the phone to me. The woman on the line said she just needed to confirm some information. I asked her why and she said she just needed me to confirm my address. I did so, then she wanted the last 4 of my social and my birthday. She asked me to repeat as she couldnt hear me and I told her I was in a store, yelling out private information and I wanted to know what the problem was. I was finally authorized to use my card but decided Id spend my money elsewhere from now on and closed my account. Bought the freezer elsewhere within half an hour. No hassles.

Employees only have limited knowledge of inventory and location of products... Also it seems to be hard to find employees that can help at all.... I prefer Jerrys but sometimes they dont carry a product I need so I end up here.

I know, its one of the big box stores that is destroying the earth. And that is a huge strike against them. But I love Home Depot. They almost always have what I need, with a good selection at a good price. And theyre nice to my dog. Delivery charges for big loads can be excessive. That being said, when Ive had loads delivered, they do a great job even in tight spaces.

Connor in Electrical has the can do attitude. While visiting The Home Depot I was assisted by the fine young gentleman. He helped me acquire ALL the necessary parts for my project. I come here a lot to grab lumber, light bulbs, repair kits, tools, or whatever other odds and ends I need for projects or repairs around the house. The staff know their stuff and are always able to direct me to where I can find something if I dont know there that is. Ive also had only good experiences with them cutting lumber to size for me.

I cannot even tell you in words how much I regret doing business with Home Depot. My husband and I have spent a lot of our hard earned money at this business. We decided to order a heat/ac mini split for our new remodel of our living room and kitchen. Weeks went by and nothing. Then we received a notification that it was delivered but we did not have it. We called customer service and apparently it was delivered to a random person in New York and we live in Oregon. How does that even hapoen?? So idk why but my husband ordered another one online again which was not what I wanted to do since they couldnt get it right the first time. The delivery date has been pushed back twice now and its been a month and a half since we first started this journey from HELL!! Of course we were supposed to get it yesterday and big surprise it was pushed back until the 15th. Awful Awful place and online business. So unprofessional to let this keep happening to their customers and no one is doing anything about it. I highly discourage anyone from dealing with these ripoff artists. The worst place Ive ever dealt with.Update: we still dont have our mini split and now the delivery date has been pushed out again. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED OVER AND RIPPED OFF!! THE ABSOLUTEL WORST AND WE CANNOT CANCEL APPARENTLY. RIPOFF ARTISTS!!!!

Not very good selection of lumber and not one employee asked if I needed any help finding stuff even as I stood looking for extended time periods in the lumber, electrical etc. Jerrys home improvement staff way more professional and help without searching all over the store for assistance 👍

Very friendly staff that was super informative. My experience was the best ever at Home Depot and I have been to more than 11 of their stores in Oregon and Washington. I was able to find all but 1 thing on a 7 item list. Definitely the best one and I will go back (keep in mind I am116 miles away because I am from central coast) and its worth the drive. Thank you Team Home Depot.

Im building a tinyhouse and have spent maybe 7K on materials around various hardware stores in Eugene: Home Depot, Lowes, Jerrys, and Habitat. I have never had any problem returning anything, except at this store. They wouldnt take my item because it was outside of its packaging and were very inflexible about it. Not shopping at this store again. Super negative experience.

Man parked out in the parking lot every day with mother home and blue truck on tow! I thought that the city of Eugene had a no oversight parking ordinance and there are always overnight parking in this home depot! I was here yesterday for my lunch break and the same motor home is here here again are 2 motor homes! They need to get a rv spot somewhere! This guy has been here weeks and still here ! The old man in motor home been here for 2 weeks fixing his motor home! Wow you guys allow this

The warranty program here is terrible. Washer went out almost 6 weeks ago, we requested someone come out and repair. The repair folks have been unable to source the missing parts (2/5) and do not know if they can get them given Covid related issues. I filed an escalation in order to process a fulfillment/buy back. This was promptly denied (even though the cost of parts and labor vastly exceeds the cost of the product) I was also promised a call back by a manager within fulfillment, this never happened.I was told today that they will try source parts, I asked if they would be new or refurbished, I was told they didnt know. If youre going to offer a warranty, regardless of who is servicing it, then you should know a bare minimum about the execution of this. So here I sit waiting and waiting. This is the most frustrating situation that I have dealt with in regards to Home Depot and no one can give me a solid answer. Its always someone elses problem.

Today was the absolute worst day Ive ever spent at Home Depot I mean we can all agree that when you go to Home Depot, no one is there to help you. Thats just part of the experience. Today though was extra special. I have spent over 20k with them last year, so I am well versed in poor customer service.1. This part is not to bad, and definitely not worth writing a review. Me and my Coworker was in the drywall section looking for a drywall screw gun. We asked the guy in the drywall section, he told us that one didnt exist. We tried to elaborate, he said well if there is one it is over there in the tools section. We went over there and found it. He didnt join us though he just pointed to the isle. Which is normal for this store.2. We were looking for a cut out bit bit drywall. I told my coworker Im going to ask that lady. I repeatedly said mam, mam, mam,. She then quickly turned down an isle as if to pretend she didnt hear me. I finally caught up with her, she says woah woah woah we are practicing social distancing here. So I showed her the picture from 6ft away. She says I cant see it. With a huge attitude. I said it is a drill bit. She says well its probably on isle 12. I said we have been looking for 20 minutes. Shes says well I dont know then. She then gets on her radio and calls for hardware while walking away from me. I was flabbergasted.3. We check out and get outside. My Coworker says you forgot an dehumidifier I said oh yeah. I am in a hurry because my wife is just about getting done at les swab with her tires. I run back in, I ask where the dehumidifier is. Two guys just chatting in Home Depot gear, chuckling and laughing it up tell my its in the back of the store. Neither want to help me so I head in that direction. I cant find them, so I ask the worker sitting behind the desk. He helps me a little better by saying at the very end of 13. Which was nice of him. He certainly didnt assist me by taking me there. But at least I now know better than the back of the store. I look at the prices, there is one fore 159 one for 219 I decided to grab the more expensive one and hurried to get out.. so I thought. I get to the self checkout and it rings up at 249. I tell the lady that the price is 219. She says will you go take a picture. I am in a hurry because of my wife, but I said okay, I run back, snap a picture come back to the self checkout out and there is now a guy there. But the lady filled him in. So I show him the picture. He tells me well the must be something wrong with the tag. And that the price is actually the more expensive. I was super upset at this point. But my wife is waiting. Ive got to go. I pay the extra 30 dollars. I have the picture still. I tell the guy that he should go and change the tag because its false advertising. And its not like Im into trying to rip off homedepot. I have a pro account there. I spent over 20k last year. Not anymore though. Im going to go to Lowes or Jerrys or something. This places customer service is the absolute worst! Hands down!! So if I can get away with it I think I would prefer spend my time around knowledgeable helpful staff. Where people like their job. It is obvious that at Home Depot off of Green Acres in Eugene, they hate their job.I would say I would go to senca home depot in eugene. But those employees hate their job too. Anyway thanks home depot for being the worst! Im sure everyone knows what Im talking about, when I say, a Home Depot experience. Lol

Only one star because I cant rate it any lower. I am a union carpenter making a cash purchase. Over 500$ as I am examining tool boxes a call comes over the intercom for Loss prevention to hardware. So I look around to see whats going on. I was the only one there... I also had to pick up paint and notice the home boys and girls following me through the store. Thinking Im paranoid I dismissed it. But as Im at the checkout paying for my materials Loss prevention is standing outside the door waiting for me. Well Haha no alarms went off because I was shopping not shoplifting. I have shopped with them for years. It ends now. I will make sure to let my union brothers and sisters know my experience.

Compared to other major American home improvement stores, my experiences with Home Depot have lackluster at best. This particular location has repeatedly messed up my orders, sold me defective products, and the staff was less than helpful on numerous occasions.Im sure not everyone shares this opinion, but again, compared to the competition - color me not impressed.

Be careful if you order for in store pick up online. I went to get my items only to find they had sent part to the Seneca store, and part to Green Acres. This wasnt a matter of availability, both stores had all of my items in stock and I absolutely could have gotten them all at ONE location. The staff at both locations told me this happens constantly, like specifying this is multiple orders per day. To top it off, they cant just switch the store. Theyd have to refund my order (with a wait time for processing) and repurchase it. Its that, or bite the bullet and drive to the other store. I was told to make absolutely sure at check out what each item says as far as the pick up location. The poor staff were very kind and did a great job.

Wanted to buy a washer and dryer from them. I live in Portland, but moving to the Florence area, and had questions about delivery. Called 5 times, and was transferred to Appliances, and never could get anyone to pick up the phone. Ended up calling Lowe’s, and got an answer on the first ring, and all my questions answered. Lowe’s ended up getting my business, and will continue to do so from now on.

Waited to get a nail gun down off the shelf after 10 minutes went to the manager to ask for assistance told me that there was no one there to unlock the tool.. so my advice if youre looking to buy anything then lumber or straight off the shelf that is not security to go ahead and come here but if you need something that is up high or need assistance this is not the place to come manager was rude and not helpful at all there were a couple employees that were very nice and helpful though they did their best John and Brad came through though when I was losing all hope...

Their special ordering experience is surprisingly positive. The shipping is a great deal when buying in bulk. It might take a while for the products to arrive, but if there are any issues with it the staff are very reasonable and actively work to help any way they can.

Rather hard to be at. No one knew where anything was. And gave us items that were 4x the amount of the item(we later found) however r the best help we had was from a man (I hope my pronouns for him are right) named Mike with long curling black hair.. He was rather sweet but the rest were rather rude and didnt know much. Also geno was nice

Probably everyone has been to home depot. Probably everyone has five star and one star experiences with Home Depot. There is not much I can say. I work on many projects. I drive by many hardware/homeware stores on my way to Home Depot. I know they will have the screw, the lumber, the pipe fitting or just about anything I need at a reasonable price. If your nice they are nice right back. We all go in sometimes angry because we broke a water pipe or something and we are not in a good mood. Put that aside, be nice, and you might fine the employee on the floor is a good person with lots of experience. I have gotten excellent advice on paint, deck upkeep, electrical work, retaining walls. It is, and has been my first stop shop for many years. I save time and money going to Home Depot. The job gets done at Home Depot.

There are a few incredible, helpful, professional employees that have truly helped me through two home renovations at this store....Jerry at pro desk, David and Ryan in doors and windows, Connor in flooring, Leslie in appliances who moved plus another tall older professional man who never fails to ask sincerely if I need help. He is always moving with purpose. Unfortunately, the score is brought down by rude uncaring employees.Two particularly, who deliver inventory all over the store and every time I am in there, their masks are blatenly under their noses. I am in there almost daily. They are rude to customers in a dismissive way.The loading staff is very slow and unprofessional.These employees ruin it for the people who work so hard there and to the customer who is kind and understanding. To the two who refuse to keep masks up its just unsafe/unfair for all who are expected to follow protocol.

The customer service was give and take meaning it was a blessing for the service I did get and for the service that didnt make much sense to me I just stuck through looking for the bolt with a Allen wrench style head. May want to ask other customers if they had seen something that maybe youre looking for because this one couple told me when I was able to recall what it was that they were looking for I happened to be the most helpful person in the place. but if it wouldnt have been for the customer service of that got me to the door and on a phone then my service wouldnt have been available at all so it goes full circle

Usually I find it a tad difficult to find help when needed here. Last week we had went to buy a dryer and the gentleman helping us, seemed uninterested in doing so, so we walked out and felt a little defeated. I expected the same this time, BUT Dezeray asked me if I was finding everything okay and offered to help without me asking. I thought I had the dryer in mind but she went above and beyond helping me choose the RIGHT one for our family and one we could get in a short amount of time. Her expertise in appliances blew me away and she treated me as if I was family which I always appreciate. She’s funny and charismatic and VERY down to earth. For sure a gem to your team!

TIM in the paint dept deserves a pay raise! Like so many other corporate chains recovering from covid economic hardships by using 1/2 their normal labor force to handle all the work load, this guy is easily doing the work of 3 people -cranking out the custom colors, consulting, making pro recommendations for tools and supplies- super friendly on top of it- I hope his supervisors recognize his hustle. 🏆
