Greatest place to shop because every purchase makes a difference in our community! The store is very clean and set up just like any department store down to the colors of clothes on the racks. Consider checking them out first for anything. They have it all great prices, friendly staff, and 10% off for savvy seniors everyday.

If you shop in the girls clothing area, be careful of pricing. They stock size 14 and 16 girls jeans in the girls area but they are actually the same pricing as women’s. The cashier “Janeatte” will actually argue and try to not sell them at girls price even when they’re stocked in the girls area with signage stating “jeans 4.99”

Nothing special. Why dont they display the price of items locked up..jewlery price and ring size..no, you have ask for help...then you feel rushed if theres more then one item youre curious about...so you just walk away. If they could just display the price theyd sell a lot more jewlery and have happier customers..happy customers spend more money..money St. Vinnys needs to stay open.

Used to be one of my favorite spots to thrift, especially for furniture. Unfortunately, in the last couple of years I have noticed the prices of everything being marked up way higher than usual and that trend seems to be here to stay. Sorry but a used couch covered in cat scratches and dirt should not be $800... I still donate and go here occasionally just because they do good things for the community and i’m ever hopeful I’ll eventually find something good, but I’m honestly disappointed every time.

Good place to find useful stuff. Odd stuff shows up too. Heard they get returns from online shops. You can see why most is returned. Things can look great online, then not good when it arrives. Wish people would shop local, look at the things youre buying. Dont buy stuff you toss out in a few months.

I like to support St. Vinnies as I am aware of the great things they do in our community. Stuff there isnt as inexpensive as it was in the past, but I support their mission, and I know they funnel me income back to help our neighbors. And, sometimes you find a true treasure!

Thrift stores should not only help the charity they are serving, but also low-income customers looking for affordable items. When it comes to furniture at this location (I have not checked others), prices are completely outrageous. $500 for a filthy white couch. $800 for a dining table with no chairs, $600 or more for fake mid-century couches, cheaply made and they probably cost less when purchased new. Why not make these items (which they received free of charge!) affordable to shoppers on a budget? They would move out of the store much faster. I see items last for weeks and months due to high prices. I wont be shopping here any more, and am going to start donating only to charities that give items away to those who need them rather than selling at jacked-up prices. I dont need to be contributing to the salaries of overpaid CEOs of non-profits.

We have always loved St. Vinnies, and I have shopped there for years. They do amazing things in our community. That said, I would absolutely NOT recommend buying one of their used washing machines/dryers. You cannot test them in the store. We bought one 9 months ago, and the heat stopped working last week. Instead of repairing it, we thought we would risk another one. So, we purchased a newer Samsung dryer there, but after hauling it home, we found the heat didnt work--it was stuck on a cool cycle! So, we hauled it back and exchanged it for a Maytag, and after hauling THAT home, we found the buzzer was stuck on and it sounded like the roller/drum was way off balance!!! We called the store, which is actually across town from our home, and were told we could return it to the store nearer to our home. So, we hauled it to the store nearer our home, but when we attempted to return it, we were told by that store that we had to go to the original store!! Good grief!! This event has been so disappointing and frustrating! What a huge time investment this has been! The staff has been so kind, and we realize they have to follow protocols, but this has been such a frustrating and disappointing experience for us. We will now have to yet again haul the dryer to them, and we will not be exchanging or purchasing another one there.

St. Vincent is always hit or miss. Normally I know right away if Im going to do a quick stroll or if I will be there for an hour picking. In the last 6 months specifically I have been seeing more and more quality stuff you expect to see in a box store. Its not always hand me down garbage. And sometimes I find exactly what Im missing in life. :)

Yes, I agree with the person who gave the 1 star. I & many others have said how overpriced SVdP thrift has become. What gives? Its the ONLY reason Im not giving them 5 stars. Outside of that, being discriminating in what I purchase, I still score some decent finds. I also have diverted any donations to SVdP (vs. Goodwill) in support of all their good social programs. On occasion I will donate elsewhere, too (Relief Nursery is A+ and VERY appreciative, as is the Assistance League and Salvation Army!).

My favorite St. Vinnies. Always has a huge crafting section that is the main reason I go and their books are nicely organized and alphebetized, as well as their DVDs.
