I think its a good place to buy stuff the deals are good you can get what you need for small jobs without overspending on something your not going to be using all the time

What guy doesnt love tools? Great selection and the staff here were very helpful. I purchased a jack that weighed roughly 100lbs. Not only did the young man at the register go get it from the back so I could have the color I wanted, he also carried it out to our car without being asked to do so.

Went in to buy a power washer very nice selection. Was clean, a little busy the gentleman that checked us out was very pleasant

Love harbor freight tools. They honor coupons up to 30 days after purchase which is nice. They have come a long way and their tools are excellent. Employees arent very nice so i interact as little as possible with them but definitely worth going to especially the money you save. All the tools i have are bought at harbor freight and i fix cars i put every tool through hell and Ive yet to return one plus Pittsburgh brand has free lifetime warranty just take to store and you get a new one

What a magical place full of Chinas finest tools. Im like a kid in a candy store here, I dont understand why I keep wandering around and buying stuff I dont need. Stick to simple things that go thud, like sledgehammers, crow bars, tarps, bungie cords, etc., and you will not be disappointed, especially for the price, and especially on sale. Some of the more complicated machinery I would be wary of... Things with electronics or wiring, I wouldnt purchase here... Have had some failures in the past. They always seem willing to accept returns without question, and customer service is fine. Just dont buy everything you need for life here, support better companies when it comes to drills, saws, etc. You get what you pay for in that regard. They do carry good sandpaper, caulking, and WD-40 if you need some real quick, and its the real deal...

Like all of the harbor freight stores, you can find good deals and the normal board of fair knockoff stuff.The folks seem friendly enough, but this last trip was a little less relaxed.We all understand that covid is a thing, but all of the arrows, Xs, and lines on the floor just increase the fear and paranoia.I did, however, add one star to my original selection because of the fact that they have a sign in the window supporting first responders and social care personnel. In todays day and age, that was nice to see.

The staff are helpful and pleasant. Its a well stocked store. Rarely out of the items I have gone in to purchase, even if its on sale. Its an older store in a strip mall so its a little worn, but that just tells you how popular the place is.

I just was there and got some tools I can use and spent less than anywhere else to get them ...of course that makes a guy 😊 happy

For a Harbor Freight store, it is OK. Well stocked.

Its cheap, but theyre got a great return policy. Staff are usually very knowledgeable and can tell you if what youre buying had been coming back or not. For what it is, Harbor Freight is my first stop for one off projects, but a lot of their hand tools are things that Ive bought once and used for years.

Was shocked when asked an associate if they carried yard stick cause I needed a quide to cut. He said no we dont. I continued looking and found a 46 metal, I went to purchase item and associate was up by cashier and I informed him they do carry exactly what I needed. He told me laughing that its not a yard stick.Just because its close to closing doesnt mean you should neglect your customers needs. Absolutely disappointed in associates behavior.

This is my husbands go to store. They send out there weekly Ad pages to everyone within the Erie county area religiously! Great deals. Store carries quality equipment reliable tools and products. They always always always honor their return policy ... Customers are worth more than getting that dollar and it shows

I know Im gonna get alot of criticism for this. But I love coming to harbor freight. This is my go to store being a diesel mechanic. I get with the whole pandemic that hours are different, but forbidding me to enter cause for 2 hrs its reserved for people over 65? Alot of people dont have that luxury

The store was very low on inventory across the board. After checking online first for stock on 3 items their website says all items in stock. After driving to the Erie PA store the cashier tells me the website is always wrong. Tough luck.

My husband used to buy tools here until we had a bad experience with a machine that he bought and it broke. We went to return and claim the guarantee and the ones who were that day gave us a terrible service. They have a really bad actitud. We will never buy in this store again🙃

The most dangerous hardware store in town, but its dangerous in a good way. Everything in the store is fairly priced and a majority of the items come with a lifetime guarantee. Theres always a sale going on as well. So, if you come across an item that you want, whether it be an air compressor, a fireproof/waterproof safe, or that machete youve been eyeballing for years, chances are its on sale. If its not, give it a week or two, and it will be.

Every time I have went here I have watched the workers cater to crazy requests from customers and keep their cool.

Harbor Freight has the majority of my tool needs. They also carry a line of household items that are most used in various places in the home. Their tools are perfect for home use but would have difficulty with the demands of professional use. I also ordered on line items for my garden. They all came as ordered and I am very happy with the quality of the items I ordered. They have a good return policy if needed. I kept everything I ordered and love it. Highly recommend you go check them out before buying from somewhere else.

After finding and researching a great deal from there June mailing, I found the offer was removed, with no way of knowing except going in store and wasting a day off work.I feel like any of the offers I see for them now is just a way to bait and switch me into buying something else. Not even an email or disclaimer online when trying to redeem the offer as advertised.I understand mistakes but, trying to hide them rather then helping customers is too frustrating, I dont believe I will shop at harbor freight anymore.

Rude cashier, condescending comments towards my medical condition and not being able to wear a mask. the cashier was rude to an Amish man who was unable to wear a mask too . How this person has a job is beyond me.

This store is packed with stuff. Its difficult to navigate the aisles, impossible if there are a lot of shoppers there.Definitely check out the Super Coupons before going, it can save you even more on tools, etc.The employees are always moving so if you need help dont let one pass you by. They are very knowledgeable and know where items are located.

One of the coolest stores ever - have collected lots of fun gadgets with the free coupons. Most of the items we buy there work just fine, but the $2 package of paintbrushes we bought lost lots of bristles while being used. On the flip side, the blue US General metal tool cart is quite sturdy and brightens up the garage with its excellent appearance (see store photo of carts, its the first one visible).

Good tool supply store with a decent selection of moderately-priced tools and consumables. Service is friendly and helpful. Parking is off-street and ample, in the lot in front of the store.

Great if you cant find what you are looking for just ask. But what really impressed me was the guy in front of me was able to return something and get what he really needed with out slowing down the line. Good job

The worst place in Erie for checkout.They need one cashier for returns and one or two cashiers for checkout.Do not need to wait in line for returns on wood chippers and hand tools not on store shelves but available from back room inventory, if you can find an associate. Lets get organized with a return aisle,as with Lowes and Home Depot.

Harbor freight has a place to go if you want decent inexpensive tools.store was clean and nicely laid out and I had no trouble finding the items I wanted. Im on a harbor freight mailing list so I frequently get coupons and notice of sale so its a great place to stock up on a tools you need!

You CAN get a good deal on a variety of tools and other products in their store. If you do your research on their products to find out whats good and bad about them, you will do well with what you buy. Even with the mistakes I have made, this is still one of my favorite stores to go to for tools. The only advice I can give you is to avoid making this place a one stop shop and dont always buy the cheapest thing they have.

This is my husbands absolute favorite store hes a mechanic so he loves spend a lot of time at Harbor Freight. they have the greatest prices on mechanic tools and carpentry tools.it is a very nice clean store the employees are helpful if you need help. he just loves going there! Dont forget to get the App for the coupons, they always give away different items weekly!

As my wife says, this store is like the Hobby lobby for men. Some times you need some tools that you wouldnt use all the time but would like to have. This place provides tools at lower price that you can afford to buy and add to your tool box.

They have great cheaper priced tools. Expect high quality from several of the items they sell. I’m a professional mechanic and i use these all the time on the job.

Very average store. I have been there twice in the last month with a rain check on an item I needed. Both times they didnt have it. I even called ahead both times, and they assured me it was in stock. They didnt even call me to tell me the item was in. I had to keep calling them. Very, very poor management. I have been dealing with Harbor freight for over 20 years, and have never had a problem until now. They are 30 miles from me, and now I go to one almost 50 miles away to obtain sastifaction.

Lots of variety for good price just remember you get what you pay for.

Disappointed that I bought a generator and after a few weeks it stopped running for me. I returned it because I had the warranty on it and they didnt give me any problems with returning it.

Very disappointing dumb kid working didnt know difference between needle nose pliers and tin snips. Needed help would of been given better advice asking the wall than him. Very unsatisfied with his customer service. Go to another place do not go here.
