Independent Muffler is the best place Ive found for exhaust work in the area.Pricing is very reasonable and the service is done quickly. The last 2 times Ive gone my vehicles have been done before lunch after dropping them off at 8.

They guys were able to fabricate a tractor exhaust and muffler set up for me while we waited. They also added a swivel and clamp off they flange to make the install and alignment easier. I will definitely be bringing them more buissness. Their prices were also incredibly reasonable for the quality custom welded exhaust we received.

I called this morning to get a quote on fixing my 2017 Jeep Cherokee after getting a quote from the dealer of $815. The guy I spoke with was so professional and accommodating to my situation. They quoted me almost $650 less than the dealer and didn’t have to order the part. I had my car back in just a few hours and it sounds good as new! They have gained a customer for life!

Ive taken two cars here that were starting to have exhaust system leaks.Both times they gave me a honest estimate of what needed done and didnt try to sell me things I didnt need. The price was very fair IMO.I usually dont do reviews but I figure these guys deserve a good one for their good work. Nobody wants to get ripped off while trying to get their broken car fixed and so heres my 2C that this is a honest business.ETA: After reading some of the other reviews Ill add that they are usually busy so you need to make an appointment.

They were able to take a look at my exhaust the same day I called them. Then instead of making me order a very expensive part to fix the problem, the mechanic fixed it how he saw fit and could pass inspection and saved me slot of money. Also fixed it. Didnt tell me I had to come back or anything like that

I called independent muffler because we had a loud exhaust. Ed scheduled us on a Saturday morning that week even though they arent open on the weekends. He knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. STELLAR customer service and professional repair. We know where to go for all our car needs now!

While I do not doubt Mr. Hulls veracity, I can tell you, from a few years of personal experience dealing with Independent Muffler, that Mr. Hulls experience is a glaring exception. Independent Muffler has always treated me fairly, never tried to upsell a job, treated me as a welcome guest in their business, the list goes on but you get the idea. In the interest of full disclosure, I have no social relationship with anyone there and I sincerely doubt I will be treated differently as a result of this post.Mr. Hull, I do wish you would give them a second chance. At least give him the chance to make it right.

Took my truck in job was completed, but my brand new 7,000$ rims were damaged they tried to cover it with black marker. Very disappointed as I took pics before and after of I will never trust them again.

What an absolute joke of a business! I am a small business owner and if I were to treat my customers/clients the way I was treated at Independent Muffler & Brake, I wouldnt be in business very long. I was given a huge attitude from both the male and female at the front counter. Never again will I stop there for ANYTHING! Im also pretty sure that a lot of the positive reviews on here are coming from their friends or family members. None of what the others are saying were experienced on my end. Without actually saying it, they pretty much told me to go somewhere else, which is what I will be doing. Terrible business practices!

Got me in on short notice. Honest.

These guys are the best! A guy at our car dealership recommended them because they could fix our muffler at a fraction of the cost of what the dealership quoted. They did an awesome job and had it repaired within an hour. We noticed that they do state inspection emissions tests and signed up for an appointment. We came in with our baby and 3 year old. Even though we were late for the appointment they helped us right away. As soon as we walked in one of the guys gave our 3 year old a fruit snack pouch. I didnt realize that our registration expired the day before we came in. One of the guys renewed it online right there so I wouldnt have to go do it and come back later. A guy came in, who was recommended that he come there by a friend, because his muffler fell off. Even though they were booked solid, they still squeezed him in. We had to change the babys diaper and they did the unexpected (from any other business establishment)! I expected that they would show us the way to the bathroom and I would just put paper towels on the floor and change her. They said that that was no place to change a baby and made a very comfy baby changing station in their office! I have never been to a place that would go out of their way like these guys did. They are as honest and friendly as can be. I recommend them to everyone!
