These guys always save me hundreds on sets of 4 tires and they take time to explain anything I ask them to respectfully. They get me in very quickly and the complementary tests are not an upsell, they genuinely want you safe on the road.

Got an oil change for a great price. There less than an hour. The manager Jeremy P was super cool and very professional to every customer no matter what their circumstances, and I noticed how he treated everyone respectfully as I waited. Will be giving them my business moving forward. They took great care of me and the other customers I observed.

I just finished having my tires replaced and am blown away by the incredible service I got there. I had a tire warranty service plan from when I purchased my vehicle, and they made the process way easier than I expected it to be. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was extremely fast, especially for how many appointments they had. Best experience I’ve ever had getting any work done to car.

We had an appointment to put on four tires we bought there. First they tried to up-charge each tire with nonsense, including a valve stem charge, which we didnt need because we have pressure sensors on our vehicle, and changed the price twice before we got out the paperwork showing the quoted price was good for 30 days. They then told us we would get a $150 rebate from the price of the tires, which was almost a thousand dollars. When we submitted the application online for the rebate, it said there were no current promotions and kicked us off the site. I called the customer service number listed and was told the offer expired before our installation and we were not eligible, even though the salesman said it was valid. Very disappointed in such poor customer service and shady practices, do not recommend them and will not go there again.

Dan and the team here took great care of us! We were 4 hours into a 12 hour road trip when we blew a tire. Luckily, we were only a few short miles from this Firestone. Even on a busy Saturday when they were short staffed they had us fully taken care of within an hour. Can’t thank you enough for making sure we got home safely this week. We are so grateful!

I took my car here for a stalling issue only here and there. I was told they would rule out anything they could. They had my vehicle for 3 days I called the 2nd day and was told someone called off so they did not get to it. ( understandable I know things happen) they called me the next day saying my car was fixed my battery terminals were loose. (What a relief) so I thought! My car stalled on me the next day so I took it back to them they changed my battery terminals for free. Weeks go by and my car is stalling again I called they said it might be a electrical issue and referred me to another shop I took my car in they didn’t find any faults in my wiring! Car stopped stalling for a while. I called Firestone back and said I don’t want it back until the issue is resolved! They kept my car for 3 more days to “rule out any possibilities” of course I called on day 2 and was told someone called off AGAIN ( same as the first time I was here) so they didn’t get to it ok cool because I really wanted to know what was wrong. I got a call saying they test drove it and the car isn’t stalling and they checked battery terminals. I picked my car up and CALLED a different Firestone they listened to alll my car’s symptoms and suggested a throttle body cleaning.. BOW !!! I got that done and my car is GREAT!!!! These people only focused on my battery terminals and did not help me at all!!!! I will never refer anyone to them!!! ( my fiancé also took his car in and they told him he needs a whole new engine and he went somewhere else they replaced his a/c compressor and his car is great) I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!!! My first time ever dealing with them and never ever again!

I made the appointment online but when I got to store they didnt have the tires in stock so had to spend $124 more for a tire with less warranty mileage. Cost $800 for tires and $800 in repairs which coincidentally my available credit on my Firestone credit card. I had to wait 5 hours and it was freezing in the building.

Had an appointment for 2 vehicles to get winter tires, that were already on rims, switched to summer tires, that were already on rims, and waited 1 and a half hrs for the first one to be done and the second vehicle wasnt even taken in yet!Appointments should be given priority over walk ins.

Service Quality: Overall the quality of service was fantastic. They displayed patience as I explained what I wanted done and answered questions about things I was unsure about. Drop off was easy! Only reason I put 4 stars out of 5 was due to my service not being complete upon pick-up. They provided a generous discount to the already inexpensive service as compensation.Price: For pricing, I give them $ out of $$$. The service I needed done was snow tires to be put on. I shopped around until I found the lowest price but reputable company. The closest that compares to firestones pricing was Dunn Tire, however, Dunn Tires price was only comparable if you got your tires from Dunn Tire. Dunn Tire with Discount for purchasing from them was about $50 to change all 4 tires. Firestone was $60 without purchasing from them but came to about $38 with the compensation discount. Dunn tire without purchasing from them is around $100 to have tires changed.Recommendation: I fully recommend firestone if you need your tires changed. I have not experienced other services from them and will update review if I do.

Ive been here twice. The two visits were about 5 years apart. Both times my business was taken care of quickly and easily. The service representatives are polite when I call and when I make payment. I have bought tires and got an alignment. They do a good job.

They have made me feel at home in their business, comfortable with their work, and proud to say that they are my mechanics. You want good service without having to worry being ripped off, check these people out. They know what they are doing and they take care of you like youre a member of their family.

Treated me way better than the money hungry degrading folks over at Dunn Tire and my dealership in Girard. Got me in for an appointment the same week I called. Fernando was very nice. I wasnt talked to in an undermining tone like I usually am when I get my car serviced somewhere because I am a woman. These guys are trustworthy and did good work, I can definitely feel the difference in my car. I will definitely be back, I like spending my hard earned money at businesses that practice great customer service and this is one of them.

My friend bought tires less than a year ago from here and 2 tires kept going flat, one finally popped (checked and no signs she hit anything) we came into firestone and the manager was so professional and courteous. He took care of her free of charge and the work was done right and quickly. He even provided better tires than what she already had. Will recommend to anyone! I came in for a simple code scan this time, and as always, they took my concerns seriously and were beyond thorough when checking the code and checking over my recently purchased vehicle to ensure that it was safe and in good working order. (An added bonus, being a woman, is that they never talk down to me about whats going on but theyll gladly explain anything thats unclear to me. And if my husband comes in with me they still talk to me instead of deferring to the nearest male.) They really care about the service they provide, and they remember you whether you go in twice a year or more often, I wont go anywhere else and happily recommend them to friends and strangers alike.

Brought my car in for a alignment. I came in picked it up and after I left I realized that it wasnt done. I came back and was told I would have to make another appointment to get a second alignment. Which means I have to take off work or find someone to run me back and forth. I told them I wanted my money back and was told no. DONT USE THESE CROOKS!!!!!!!!

Sometimes Firestone gets a bad rap. Ive been using this particular Firestone for years and each and every time I leave feeling that the staff was honest with me. The mechanics are phenomenal as are the service writers. There have been numerous times where they could have told me my car needs this or that but they didnt try to sell me something I could live without being done to my car. I always leave with a good feeling....a feeling of not being ripped off. Thanks Firestone.

I was in a pinch. On vacation hundreds of miles from home. Slam on the brakes, BOOM!!!! pedal goes to the floor. What do I do? Where do I go? Luckily we were safe. I limped the car back to our downtown hotel. Google, yelp where do I go? Not knowing any shops in the area I turned to a chain center. I found this one just a few blocks from where we were staying. They quoted me a price and an estimated time. The price was slightly shocking, since they do have a high hourly rate, none-the-less I agreed to the service. The time quote was drastically less than what was needed as was the parts list. As the service tech, Don, started to finish up on one line another leak would appear. Fearing that the work and hours were adding up, my nails became shorter. Once completed my heart was pounding, original quote was surely gone. When I went to pay he said the first price, what was this? They quickly explained how they stand by their originally quoted price no matter what other work needed to be performed after the original inspection process. Could it be? Does any major repair shop care about the customer? I can say that I was truly happy with the service provided to me that day. They used the better grade materials for the brake lines, nickle copper not the raw steel lines that are used from the factory. I say if you are looking for good quality work and dont know where to go, do not hesitate to inquire here.

Couldnt handle installing and balancing a tire for my Toyota RV

Horrible experience. Dropped off my car on Monday for tire change over, inspection, alignment check, state inspection, oil change. Showed up at 5, waited for 45 min, tires and oil done, they forgot the alignment and inspection. Stopped by on Tuesday, dropped off the car, forgot to leave keys, noone bothered to call. They were calling me just fine though when trying to sell me 2 sets of the most expensive tires. Dropped off the car on Wednesday, stopped by at 4.30 pm, nothing is done, currently waiting for 2 hours to get my car. Guess what, they still didnt do the alignment!!!

I bought four new bridgestone ecopia422 tires and less than a month later one of the sidewalls blew out. The guy working told me I dont know who you pissed off but it looks like someone punctured it. So they wouldnt cover it under the manufacturer warranty when the tire was clearly faulty. Called firestone customer service got the same run around to take it were it was purchased for inspection. The manager of the store would not answer the dozen times I called. Needless to say I will never go there again or buy any firestone products.

All I have to say is dont send your wife, girlfriend or any female there without a mechanicly knowledgeable person with them since all they see walking in is someone they can con into buying tires, wipers, brakes, batterys and more. There are plenty of other garages in erie that do much more ethical bussiness.

NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE AUTO CARE. I took my car to the Firestone Auto Care shop on 18th and State streets in Erie, PA for a routine state inspection on 8/22/2015, a Saturday. In the last year my Kia Sorento had been driven barely 4000 miles. There were no problems with it that I could discern – it was running fine with no noises etc. Two hours later, I received a phone call from them telling me that I needed one new wiper blade but they recommended that I get both replaced (at a cost of $23 including labor – much higher than what these blades would have cost me, with free installation, at any auto store or Walmart). I said go ahead. Then the man tells me that my right front wheel bearings could go at any time (scare tactic that I fell for). In the same breath he told me that they passed inspection. I asked how long would they last and his response was, “I can’t say. It is subjective. It could be three days or three months”. This is where I made a fatal error. I asked, “How much will it cost?” He replied, “$131.99 for the wheel bearing, $22.99 for the front wheel seal & labor of $150”.They finished the work and I picked up my car after paying the total of $378.31. This included something I had not agreed to, nor was I told about – “PRT-DISC & LBR DISC” - for an additional $30. I asked him, out of curiosity, where they had gotten the parts so quickly and they said that they got them from Advance Auto parts.I did not drive the car on Sunday and on Monday, after work, the car started to make an extremely loud and scary sound, coming from the right wheel, when I made a left turn. The sound continued to get worse and persistent as I drove home but Firestone was closed for the day. I woke up very early the next day, Tuesday the 25th of August, and drove to Firestone. I waited till they opened at 7 AM and told them about the problem (something that did not exist before I had taken the car to them on Saturday). They said they would look in to it. I also told them that the ABS light was continuously on and the man said, “Oh, I guess they forgot to tell you that the ABS sensor had to be installed but they did not have it. It will arrive tomorrow and we will install it.” My guess is that this is the “PRT-DISC & LBR DISC” for $30 that was on the bill. They had charged me for it, did not tell me about it and did not ask my permission!Later that morning I got my car back with an absurd and vague explanation that it was the backing of the rotor that was making the noise and it was fixed now. Of course they had not worked on the rotor but rather the wheel bearing. I was at sea and decided that something was not quite right. I decided to call Advance Auto Parts and ask how much the parts, namely the front wheel bearing and seal, cost. This is where things became interesting. The lady at Advance Auto Parts in Erie told me that there were two types of wheel bearings (one supposedly a higher quality) and they cost $25.99 and $49.99! The front wheel seal cost $3.99! Now I was angry. I had been taken advantage of and I was going to ask Firestone why.During the week, on Thursday, August the 27th, I called Firestone to ask about the ABS sensor and I was told that someone had forgot to order it! It would be ordered and I could come in and have it installed later in the week. I went there on Saturday, August 29th. After the work was done I said that I would drive the car around the block to test everything and be back. Upon my return, I confronted them regarding the huge discrepancy between the cost of the parts sold by the retailer Advance Auto Parts and what they charged me since they said they had gotten from Advance Auto Parts. Their response was, “This is how retail works.” I said, “Really, then you are running a scam by charging $22.99 for a part that you got for $3.99 and $131.99 for a part that, at most, cost you $49.99.” However, after this experience I can almost bet that they used the $25.99 wheel bearing and not the $49.99 one.

Mechanic adjusted my e brake by the drum shoes, not the linkage under the consol. After an 800 dollar inspection i left with both of my rear brakes locked up. Very disappointed in the humanity here. I didnt even bother taking it back to those retards, so i fixed it myself. If your mechanic here is joe dipko, run, run away, far away

It took 5 days for them to tell me they couldnt work on my car because they only use new parts, not used parts, which my ins co wrote the estimate for. FIVE DAYS. In that span of time my ins guy and I made multiple phone calls to them, repeatedly getting the answer that the guys working didnt know what to do . My ins co said theyve never experienced anything like it. Not only that, but when I arranged to have the car towed on Sunday (the hours online say 8-6 on Sun), they were CLOSED.
