Awesome Tie Dye, Katie is the best. She puts all her love and work into each one as well as the people from all walks that are around her!

Katie is the absolute best at what she does. The tie-dyes are seriously the most vibrant amazing colors and designs, you definitely can’t get anything that compares to her quality anywhere. She is also amazing at custom jobs. She’s done a lot of projects for us and even throw we know how amazing all her work is, she always surprises us with work that exceeds our expectations. If you haven’t visit her shop yet, get it on your list!!

Rude owners. The store owners locked me out of the shop when I came to visit but let me in as I walked away. Said I looked suspicious to my face and told me they locked me out because of that. I was wearing sandals and a black Columbia Fleece. Never felt so judged in my life… And at a hippy shop of all places. Visit Be Hippy instead downtown. I don’t think I will ever visit again.

Tie-dye is an art, and this is an artists studio and gallery. You will find intricately dyed shirts, pants, tapestries, masks, and much much more within these walls, each piece more stunning than the last. You may be planning on a shirt, but then, an amazing hoodie, or pair of flair pants will catch your eye, and you will notice something - all of these tie-dye designs are purposefully arranged in conjunction with the cut and purpose of the garment! AMAZING, you will say to yourself, under your breath. You had always assumed that a person just randomly dipped some tied up fabric in some ink, and Voila!, but now you see that there IS a difference... designs of birds and sunsets, pure expressions of joy and love call to you from all the art pieces surrounding you. You realize, now, that this original notion of randomly applied bright dyes MAY be true of the products you have seen in souvenir stands and at the mall, but, just as street art from Banksy is a far cry from the work of a 13-year old that spraypaints his name on a wall, THIS tie-dye was obviously created by a person with a deeper understanding of the medium.Your tie-dye garment will tell OTHERS about YOU, They see it ON YOU more than you, yourself, see it, and its important that this piece represents the essence of your being. A good tie-dye shirt will last you about 20 years, and it will become your favorite Sunday shirt, or concert shirt, or lounging shirt, and you will KNOW it is special, because YOU CHOSE IT, and it spoke to YOU, and it is IMPOSSIBLE for there to be another of the exact same pattern in the entirety of the universe! Make a wise decision, dont buy that special shirt off Amazon, or from Hot Topic... go to an ACTUAL tie-dye artist. Go to the Peace Place, and find that forever friend. Go, now... they close at 5.

Drove by this business a couple weeks ago. Thought I would check out their website. Everything looks so cool! When I drove by the artist was outside painting on the building. That was cool to watch till the light turned green. This is my kind of store so I will be in to visit and buy something next week!

The Peace Place ROCKS! If youre ready to break out of the earth tones and add color to your life, then you need to stop into Englewoods most fantastic locally owned retail store, The Peace Place. My wife and I stop in here regularly and always find something we must have. The selection is always fresh, and they always have my size! The owner will even take special requests. Put The Peace Place on your shopping list next time youre out, and I promise youll be glad you did.

I come here all the time to get tie dye it’s high quality with really cool and unique designs! the owner is super dooper nice and helpful. she also does custom designs and orders and can pretty much tie dye anything i HIGHLY recommend this place.

I just picked up a tie dye Colorado flag, it is beautiful and the price was so fair.. it came mounted to a nice wooden pole and came with mounting hardware! I really appreciate the amount of effort you can see in these creations.

What a wonderful little boutique store. Gorgeous, vibrant tie dye all hand made by the owner, Katie. She takes custom orders as well. Bonus welcoming committee in the shop dog named Chopper. Finding masks you can breathe in are sometimes hard to find, and Katie has quite a number of fabric masks that are comfortable to wear all day. She has some other great items all locally made. Candles, jewelry, stationery, super cool mugs, kombucha and she has other vendors that will be bringing their artisanal wares in soon. Excellent place to find a unique gift or something fun for yourself. Wishing Katie (and Chopper) the best in their new endeavor!

I stopped by a sale they were having a couple weekends ago off of Broadway and Quincy in Englewood. the designs were great! I needed to pick up a few masks for some family members and added a few Colorado tie dye items to go with the masks. She also has some amazing bamboo tie dyed socks. I picked up a couple of pairs to add a little secret color into my life! I get compliments on them all of the time when people notice them. OMG I died and seriously went to tie-dye HEAVEN!!! 🥰 Possibly the BEST selection of tie-dye clothing Ive ever come across!! And Katie DeGroot couldnt be any nicer! I went crazy buying Christmas presents for my grandkids and shirts for myself. I picked up a tie-dye face mask, and Katie is even making me a CUSTOM t-shirt!! As someone who drives a tie-dye Prius, you can take this review to the bank! WOW!! ✌
