Republic Jeep Rocks. The owner and his crew are knowledgeable, competent and they have the inventory in stock to help keep Jeeps on the road - whether they were built for WWII or last year. My wife and I purchased a hard top for our TJ. the process was as simple and straightforward as could be. The used part was as described. The owner helped with the install. Everything went exactly like he said it would. You can trust this place with your treasured Jeep. I wholly recommend Jeep Republic.
Mike took care of me and was really pleasant to work with and responsive. Had some fool slash my quarter panel on the soft top in the dead of night and he was able to get me a replacement a day later for a reasonable price.
Bought a refurbish jeep engine from him,3200 dollars, supposed to be a GOOD running engine complete. all it was is junk. would not run no oil pressure, took oil pan off no oil pickup tube, we spent several days trying to get it to run no luck pulled engine, called him he would not talk to me then he hung up on me,3200 dollars of paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, not a good place to do business!.
Extremely rude service. Drove an hour and a half to get half doors and got the a very unpleasant experience. Doors were overpriced and not in the best condition for the price that he was asking. Doors didn’t end up fitting because they were damaged. He simply shooed us away at the end when we decided we didn’t want them.We were told the doors were in mint condition but they were rusted, dented, and incomplete.A true waste of time, we should have heeded the reviews from other people!
The person who answered the phone was a jerk. He seemed annoyed that he had to talk to me. He tried to make me feel stupid for asking a question and then basically hung up on me. This is the only review I’ve ever done. I’ve never had worse customer service.
Don’t waste your time they’ll just say no we don’t do that and hang up
Guy was real short on the phone and rushed me off when I said I was looking for a late TJ hardtop. Had to explain to him the difference between tops from a 97-02 vs. 03-06 and he just said, these are the ones with the vents... okay bye, gotta go. Wont be giving this guy a dime with that attitude.
I called for an estimate for a repair, i was given one over the phone with good detail. This shop has experience and knowledge. They completed the repair in timely manner and as estimated.
Called today looking for parts for my jeep that I couldnt find anywhere else. Mike stayed late to pulled them right away and had them ready within a hour. Great service and Mike was so professional.
They helped me get a new gas tank for my jeep while I was in a rough spot. Not being with my jeep let alone in the state at the time onward in a huge pinch. I called them up because FN Jeep was not answering or returning any of my calls. They helped get what I need gave me a decent price and shipped it for about 100$ LESS than anywhere else I found a tank. ALL over the phone. They texted me a receipt and shipped it to my mechanic quickly. I could not be happier.
Heed this warning...DO NOT GO HERE. The prices are over-inflated for used parts and the owner (untrustworthy) does not have any idea about the concept of customer service. I was seeking an OEM windshield frame for a YJ. I was told it was free of rust and that the duct tape on the frame was merely holding in the glass (I should have looked under the tape and not just have taken his word on it). I paid a premium price of $277 (realizing that I could find cheaper online, but I was wanting an OEM part). Once I discovered I had been conned by him and that the frame did in fact contain rust that had eaten through, I texted him photos of it and he indicated (in a text) that he would look for a replacement. He never got back in touch with me. I sent numerous texts asking for credit for other items on the two jeeps we own and he ignored every one of them. Calling him on the phone is useless. So, I can vouch for the exorbitant prices and lackluster customer service. My mistake of not reading the reviews first and blindly trusting a local businessman cost me close to a few hundred...but now it will cost him far worse. Again...DO NOT GO HERE.
Thanks for those saying it like it is. I’m replacing parts on my 97 TJ. Was planning to swing by since it is just up the street from the mechanic working on my Jeep. Guess not. The reviews has a pattern of being rude. Not a place I will do business with. LATER
Just called to get a quote for a couple of parts and only gave me one for the water pump. Didnt give one for the window. Rather rude on the phone and couldnt talk clearly enough.
If i could give a minus star I would. My Son drove 47 miles there to get 2 parts. 47 miles home to find out he was given the wrong parts. Had to drive 47 miles again and I said he should take care of my son, maybe a discount for the mistake and he EXPLODED at me saying I was strongarming him, and to loose his number and never call again. My son went there and got the part exchanged after an extra 84 mile trip. RUDE - MEAN- PRICE GOUGE! buy from Jeeps Unlimited, much nicer and better prices!
Very knowledgeable person and they had all the parts I needed and the mechanic did excellent work. Will definitely return to Republic 4x4 if I need any work done or need to buy any parts. Five star rating
Just got a transfer case from Mike for my 93 Jeep Wrangler and he was very helpful and it was a great price for a rebuilt. Once I brought him my old transfer case he was able to transfer the electronic components over and modify it so it would fit perfectly for my jeep. I would highly recommend him for parts and service. He literally has every part for your jeep you need from old Wileys to more modern models.
I love this place! They have so many Jeep parts! Also the owner is very nice.
AVOID THIS SHOPThis guy is a scam artist that preys on the people who dont know any better. Complete scumbag with very poor customer service.Called to see if he had a few parts available and he quoted me 3 times more then what a reputable local shop did on the first item, I asked if that was the cheapest one he had and he got very rude and hung up. Didnt even bother to further assist. There are plenty of good shops with good people out there. This guy doesnt deserve your hard earned money.
Owner was very nice and helpful. He was able to help me out with the part I needed and am currently not having any problems with it. Great customer service! Very content.
Bought a reconditioned hard top for my LJ on 12/19/2017. They helped me put in place and I bolted it down. Hooked up rear window and washer connection. The connection mounted to the hard top fell out of the hole and doesnt attach correctly, water tube was plugged, and the rear window defroster connection fell apart. I pointed these to the head guy in the shop and his helper. Shop went to shop made a call and came back, he didnt talk to me but said to his helper, well take it back and refund his money. He didnt try to correct any of the issues but his helper, who started 3 days prior, tried to help with the plugged tube.We couldnt get it to work but I took it anyway because my insurance allowed for me to take it somewhere else to fix these things. The lack of customer service and take it or leave it attitude surprised me. These guys are a glorified junk yard. They one star because they did have the top, thats it. There are better jeep places just around the corner.
What a great place to get service done on your Jeep and find Jeep parts. The owner greeted us with a big smile and his wonderful little dog. It was clear that he new what he was talking about and was not trying to gouge anyone. Its hard to find a good honest place like this in the car industry.
Very welcoming and friendly. I did not feel intimidated when I came in saying what was wrong with my Jeep. They were very busy but took the time to explain what they were going to do and gave me a reasonable quote for the work. While waiting for the work to be done I asked if there was a place close by to grab something to eat. They told me of a couple places and then offered to drive and pick me up where I want to go to eat while they worked on my car. I will definitely be coming back for any other work that I need done on my car.
They never got back to me.
They contacted me through FB about a used stock part I was looking for so I called them about it. The person on the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional and quoted a ridiculously high price. Should have read some of the other terrible reviews about this place before even wasting the time to call them. I would never do business with someone so unprofessional and rude, there are many better options out there.
Have you ever seen the movie Deliverance? Yeah, kind of like that.... The owner (Mike?) and his tall lover/worker are incredibly rude and the place seems like a chop shop. We thankfully didnt let them touch our Jeep, and after reading these other reviews-- I know we made the right choice.
One of the worst experiences Ive ever had with a company. New gears were installed improperly. When I went to another 4 wheel shop in the new area I live they detailed the backlashing and many other technical details that I cant recite right now. I called Mike, the owner at republic 4x4. Needless to say the owner wouldnt take responsibility was rude, yelled at me, and hung up. I had the service manager at the new shop call Mike and they got the same treatment. Absolutely positively do not do business with this company.
Visited Mikes shop about a week ago. He took the time out of his day to show me around the shop, offer his expertise on many questions I had, gave me his card, and offered his services.Very blessed to have such a great resource so close to home!
My son and I really appreciated Andre helping us at republic yesterday. He took the time to share his knowledge and gave helpful tips. Thank you again Andre!
Mike knows so much about Jeeps he has a passion. With cause. And the unmatchable, EXPERIENCE (sorry for using all caps I didnt mean to shout at you but merely I meant to emphasize how much this means to me) I feel, perhaps in error, those reviewing him in a negative manner surely just dont comprehend the man and his dedication to Jeeps. With a superior part*, at a price including the quick and sound installation at about 70% of a big name shop near 10th and Santa Fe, I am happy to do business with my friend Mike at 3350 S. Federal in Denver.*Wow factor. Much better part, much cheaper, installed quicker. Explained fully with all the detail I couldnt imagine but could understand why after a couple decades I will be talking about myself.
Republic is where I will go for any CJ parts from now on. Very, very knowledgeable. I hunted for a part for several days, couldnt find it new or used, local or on-line. These guys came through and found what I needed. Mike and Andre are good people.
Mike was awesome took care of us.1995 jeep needed alot of work.
What a joke. They think they are the only place to buy parts. Went in to buy some USED parts for my jeep that I already looked on Amazon new. They wanted more for used parts than new ones go for. I said this is cheaper on Amazon he said go to Amazon then, Ill walk you out.
Quoted me over $300 for just the hardware to reinstall stock fender flares. One could purchase brand new, fancy aftermarket flares WITH hardware for that price. Straight up clowns. Would give zero stars if i could.
Have called a few times looking for parts over the last 2 years, talked to the same older sounding guy each time.. Awful, horrible phone skills / people skills (among the worst Ive ever experienced).Todays experience was no different, Ill never shop there again. Consider theres a much nicer 4x4 shop 1 mile East, and tons of shops selling used 4x4 parts, all near by.A review below had the gist that theyve been in the business for a while, so its no frills, no BS... Time in business (or age) is no reason to be a jerk to your customers - if anything, its the opposite.
Far over priced. As far as they are concerned they have parts made of gold. Not only that ive asked about selling two different jeeps at different times and gotten such a low offer that it was insulting. If I could give a lower rating I would. Would never recommend them. I prefer to buy local. Unless I have to deal with this shop for a part.
If I could give NEG stars, I would. This guy.... is dangerously rude. Like, dangerously. Within 90 seconds of saying hi, what can I do for you?, he accused me of calling him a liar, turned his back on me, and told me to leave the property. I have hundreds of dollars to put into my jeep project, that I am more than happy to give to anyone else!Their CRAIGSLIST ad says, Please.Visit.Us.----- WHY???SERIOUSLY- DONT!
Its like a candy store for jeep lovers !!!
Thanks for the reviews. I was looking for a long term mechanic to help build the XJ I just bought and this place is close to my home. Obviously this isnt the place. Glad I didnt need to find out the hard way.
I got a differential for my jeep that was said to be reconditioned. New seals good gears and what not. After purchase we took it to the house only to find leaking seals and chewed up gears and more. When I went back to ask him what the deal was he told me to get out, and that he wasnt going to give us the good parts we payed for. DO NOT GO THERE. They dont know the difference between used and broken I guess.
If I could give them a negative I would! The boss or ownerMike was great till we ran into problems but from the get go my part was not delivered on time as promised! When I would call no one would answer and you couldnt leave a message cause the mailbox was full... from other unhappy customers Im sure! Redicoulas customer service!!!
This guy knows his stuff.Do not argue with him; hes forgotten more than youll ever know. Hes blunt to the point of being offensive, and has no patience with fools. And in my years of dealing with him, he has never, ever been wrong. Or dishonest. This is not a discount shop: you will pay top dollar for what youre buying. Maybe even more than you would pay somewhere else. But hell sell you what you actually need, not what you think you need, or what someone else told you you need, or what he wants to push onto you. And hell probably have it: this man has EVERYTHING, going all the way back to the 1940s models. There have been a number of times that hes told me things about my Jeep that I just couldnt believe. Every other shop in town told me something else. In the end, Mike was right.Despite his prices, his knowledge and brutal honesty have saved me money, several times. If you cant deal with his personality, its your loss.
Mike has an odd personality defect and while he may know about jeeps, I have never had a more hostile encounter from a business in my life. I stated his price of 275 was ridiculous because I found the same product for 150 online and he accused me of insulting him and kicked me out of his junk yard of a lot. Niche market and no customer service, no clue how hes still in business
I find it hard to believe that any of the positive reviews are not fake. Believe the reviews - I didnt and it was a mistake.
Most rude douch bag ever. I wouldnt recommend this place if it was the only 4x4 shop around. Better luck else where.
Trying to find a part for a soft top they want 45$ for one and a brand new oem one is 25$ I would recommend looking around before going here
Mike was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Very friendly.
Do not take your Jeep here to be fixed.I had my Jeep stolen last year and brought it here to be fixed and what a mistake I made. Mike seemed nice but my Jeep wasnt even close to being fixed correctly. He had to replace the steering column, which he did but it was shoddy. The door chime would ding whenever the driver side door opened, even if there wasnt a key in the ignition or the lights werent on. I couldnt use the electronic door locks on the driver side anymore. They left the dent in the door where the lock was punched in. My cruise control didnt work.I came back multiple times to see if they would fix the remaining issues but I gave up. They claimed that I needed a new computer and that is why my cruise control didnt work.Fast forward to last month and my Jeep was stolen again! This time I took it to a shop recommended to me by my insurance company. They fixed everything that was wrong with what Republic lacked to correct, except the cruise control. I called and talked to the new shop and they told me that the work order showed that they replaced a clockspring without cruise control because that was what was installed. That means that Republic swapped out mine with cruise control with a used one without it when they fixed my Jeep! Now my Jeep will not have cruise control unless I want to pay for a new clockspring and installation.Super shady and I do not recommend giving them your business!
Not very helpful and priced way to high. I had cash in hand and wanted to make a deal on used parts that that they must sell to guys that have money to burn. I also wanted to see if he would work on my Jeep but after talking to them for 10 min. I will go somewhere els
Ive never been treated so rudely by someone who wants my business (money) before. Ive been twice and I can assure you, there will not be a third time. Go anywhere else. I wish I could give it no stars!
I bought a hard top off of this guy... he helped me out with installation. I didnt tell him to drill holes in my jeep and rivet the hard top to the body. WHO DOES THAT?
So I call, asking about XJ doors; the guy that answers tells me the price, and I voice my surprise at how much. Never mind the price; I was just surprised. Anyway, he says, Maybe you should go find yourself a Jeep Goodwill. And then just hangs up on me. Then I call back asking if he meant to hang up on me, and he says, I sure did.. So yeah, be ready for that prick.
I used Mike for my 1989 Jeep Cherokee.. Always polite always took care of anything that popped up. I used him for two years till I sold the jeep for more than I put into it, because of Mikes service.. Just dont act like YOU know it all. cause you dont. Ps.. Very cool little dog..
They have anything you could possibly need
Extremely rude and unprofessional. Terrible prices. Terrible service. Owners a POS.
Called to ask about a used xj seat, extremely rude and they want $175 for a 20 year old used seat. Hahaha, what a freakin joke.
Hello, My name is Andre and I have been a Jeep owner and enthusiast for many years. In my years as a “Jeeper” I have dealt with many repair shops, salvage yards, and Jeep offroad specialty shops, and out of all of them, there has only been one place that has treated me fairly, are extremely knowledgeable and experienced with not only my Jeep, but all Jeep applications and this business is Jeep Republic Park 4X4. The quality of parts, service and repairs here is beyond reproach.I have read many other reviews about Jeep Republic stating they are rude, poor customer service and poor attitudes. To all these other reviewers i.e.”sore-heads” I say you should probably take a closer look at yourselves and your questionable character. The staff at Jeep Republic as always been courteous, respectful and amazingly knowledgeable demonstrating a long-standing standards for people to rely on . They are not there to baby you into anything or feed your egos. They are there to keep your Jeeps on the road with the parts and service needed. I will only take my Jeep to Jeep Republic for all my service and parts needs and I wanted to take this opportunity to post a honest review of a decent, trustworthy Jeep business you can rely on. I endorse and recommend Republic Jeep to the Jeep community. I truly believe you will not be disappointed!Republic Jeep is a good ONE!
I called to get a price on a body panel. They gave me a price and said they had plenty in stock. I drove an hour from my house to get there only to be quoted a higher price by Mike. He stated I could have the lower price that I had been given on the phone. He showed me two body panels (stating this is all they have) both of which had notable damage but still insisted on a premium price. When I stated that the price was too high for notably damaged panels, he said that he had to go and slammed the door. The selection there was decent but the customer service was unnecessarily rude and impersonal. I actually saw the part that I needed in his side yard in decent condition on a wrecked vehicle as I was leaving. I would have been willing to pay the asking price for that part but after his attitude there was just no way. Im on my 6th Wrangler but have no intentions of doing business with a shop who doesnt treat their customers like a Jeep Community should.
Parts presented and priced as new are dressed up old, used parts
Very rude! Does not hold to his word. I was told I would receive a refund. He sold a part and it was the wrong one. Never got the refund. Numerous calls were made and only got the run around! Do not trust them for their parts to work or make good ifthey are not.
I wish I could rate a zero. I was completely blown away by the unprofessionalism of the owner of this place! He is not in the business of CUSTOMER SERVICE. He was everything the prior reviews said. Should have looked it up before I wasted my time.
Best place to get jeep parts
Dude was such a douche that Im filling a complaint with the better business bureau. I was needing some parts for a vehicle and their website claims they sell said parts. I started by asking for the vacuum diagram and a repair manual which is all anyone that knows about basic car mechanics need to work on any vehicle, and he tried to sell me repair instead of the parts I needed. Needless to say, I found the diagram online free, Amazon, Ebay and any dealer will be happy to sell me the repair manual, and this douche lost a sale on a bunch of parts and future parts for me to fix my boyfriends car, and I will give them bad word of mouth to anyone looks for Jeep, AMC repairs in the future.
Got the part I needed at a great price. Mike is very friendly and knowledgeable.
Dosent even deserve a star but people need to know this place sucks and there is way better shops out there that know what you need that guy got so mad because I didnt want his part and threw me out of the store cussed me up and down.
Dont waste your time business is a rip off filing a report with BBB.
The mechanic is rude and cussed out my husband when my husband had never met him and had never said a thing about him much less anything bad. If I had read all reviews before I never would have put our Jeep on his property.
Extremely Rude and Arrogant, Told me had a nice part, turned out to be a rusted out overpriced piece of junk. Complete waste of time. Avoid at all costs.
He is Very rude and really must hate his life.Dont waste your time here with poor service and over priced crap.
Called for just an overview of prices and the guy I talked to was super rude and just hung up on me...I would totally recommend just going to or calling Jeeps Unlimited instead
The help on the phone ended with them calling me names and hanging up on me. I laughed at the asking price of $1,800 for a hard top.
EXTREEMLY RUDE, IMPOLITE and way OVERPRICED parts! DO NOT use this business!!
This guy is terrible, just hung up in my face as i was looking up how far he was away from me to purchase something.
The owner creepy,,, bad service overpriced parts don,t wast your time
Hell of a nice Guy !!
Just rude.
Just called him and all of the other 1 star reviews make sense dont trust this guy
WOW all of the bad reviews are right. The people down there are rude! I would not take my jeep down there for anything!
He had what I was looking for
Sent us incorrect and broken parts and refuses to pay for the $145 in shipment to return them. Thus, leaving us with no refund. Awful service.
I called to see about parts and the guy says got to go and hung up was really rude
The owner is a liar. He says anything to get you to agree and wont deliver on his promises. He treats paying customers like dirt and will rip you off. If you ask for him to work with you on it, he will kick you out and tell you to bring him to court.
No idea how this place survives. Every interaction I’ve had has been poor. Incredibly rude customer service
Great company
JEEP parts and tops
The worst
