Just booked a unit today online and also by working with Marty the manager. He was so helpful and proactive in addressing my needs! We probably spoke 5 times within an hour. The process was easy especially with Martys help. I highly recommend Life Storage Elmhurst.

I have never needed storage before so I was not sure what to expect. The place was very nice, clean, and most importantly felt very safe. Marty was incredible kind and accommodating and happy to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing storage.

There are many storage spaces nowadays. And they all provide basically the same thing. A place to put your stuff.However, all those other places dont have Ginger.Incredibly helpful.Always pleasant.And committed to do whatever she can to make your Life Storage experience not only positive, but enjoyable.Lets face it, putting stuff in storage is pretty much never easy. Both were extremely courteous and patient, answering all of our questions and walking us through the rental process. No rushing us through and no hard sell, which is very refreshing. I came to the Elmhurst, Rt 83 location about 2 weeks ago and purchased a unit.Mike was the manager on call that day and was Incredibly helpful. He was taking his patience helping me online and with the registration process. He was congenial and knowledgeable, making my decision an easy one and without any sales pressure, just honest sales.He informed me that Chris would be the manager on call most of the time at this location... I met Chris today. We had a snafu when a PODS storage truck dropped my unit off at my house, without Contact or our knowledge.Chris was an amazing help by letting me unload the unit without prior knowledge of it coming, he was super helpful, understanding and courteous.A BIG thanks to both and especially Chris for all his help today! I couldn’t ask for a cleaner, safer facility.

Chris and Theresa made our experience very smooth, from signing up for a storage space, to helping us get in when we were locked out.The storage spaces are climate controlled and seem to have plenty of room to move around while loading/unloading. The indoor garage staging area is a perk for winter time, too!

This is not the first storage unit I’ve ever rented, and I doubt it will be the last. When I can say is that so far is the best. The rental process was incredibly smooth using the online pre-registration feature with the reservation. I received an advanced phone call from Barb to confirm the day before my scheduled arrival and she was very pleasant to talk to on the phone.The facility itself seems very secure and has plenty of space in the garage for parking inside while you unload if you have an internal storage unit. The storage space itself is structurally very similar to other indoor storage units I’ve rented before.Moving into my unit and the on-site portion of the rental process was also very smooth. Barb was as pleasant to talk to in person as she was on the phone. I was able to provide my own lock which is great instead of being forced to pay for a lock that’s not as secure as the one that I already owned (Like I was forced to at some previous storage places).I also had on site variety of boxes which I’ve made use of a couple, and if you don’t have your own there is a dolly to rent. It’s also been very handy that they keep a full stock of packing materials such as tape, padding, moisture absorbing things, and markers etc. as I always forget indoor run out of those things while I’m in my unit.TLDR: I am very pleased with my decision to get a unit here.

I previously rented a space for my mother-in-law. At that time, I was very impressed with how clean and convenient everything is. Now that I rented a space for myself, I can say that is still true. The hallways, storage units and loading/unloading area are all clean and well-lit. The staff explains everything and is very customer friendly.

Manager Jeff was kind, efficient, and helpful. Renal of the moving truck was efficient and no hassle, would reccomend!

At the last minute, I decided to go with LifeStorage instead of another storage place due to a bad customer service experience.
