We like this Weis because it has whatever we need. Its very convenient to go to.

To be a my neighbor store, do not really offer me good deals, and there is no much variety on the products

This is a pretty decent supermarket. Located near a strip mall and sort of nestled on a ridge, somewhat out of sight. The venue was clean inside, employees were respectful and busy. Restroom was clean and store was organized fairly well. Getting to/leaving the stores parking lot is tricky as you can only leave North on Waterloo without making an illegal turn left. Same for driving to the storefront. Make sure youre aware of the entrances and exits before going and leaving. Google Maps did a shoddy job of instructions (completely incorrect). Shame on Google.

Overall the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Also, the store was clean and well stocked.The main problem here for me today was the inconsistencies in pricing. Most of the items I purchased here today were much higher then the other supermarkets I have shopped at in the past.

Small local store. Some of the staff arent very polite. But you can avoid that with self check out. Basic grocery needs available. Well stocked. They do have a hot bar. No pharmacy inside. Most items are priced well for the area. Its never been overcrowded when Ive shopped there.

I went in for a quick visit to get a few items and as normal Weis delivered as usual. Got everything I needed and then some. Thank you, Weis!! Oh, only thing I had was, why cant you swap out your weis plastic reusable bags that are all ripped and need to be thrown away from the usage and be given NEW, FREE WEIS PLASTIC BAGS? instead of paying for them again?? Especially if I brought them in the store to see?? I think this should be looked into, seriously!!!! Please advise!!!

Wanted to let you guys know how WONDERFUL the store is. The cashier Jovanna went over and beyond with her service great attitude and helped me out with WIC, I didn’t understand and she helped me get every item on the list even offered to check me out to make sure everything was fine.More people like her make’s the store WONDERFUL definitely coming more often.

The prices are good and I buy from here a lot. Although I prefer to get fresh fruit from other locations because the organic selection is sometimes out of stock or not available.

I never thought that I’d ever say that had a phenomenal experience at the deli section of Weis, let alone any store, but here I am! The staff in general was very helpful and polite in making my experience quick and easy; however, Tara from the deli department was the one staff member in particular stuck out above everyone else. She made quick work of the the line in front of me while spreading positivity to everyone there with exceptional conversation skill. No task appeared to be too much for her to tackle. When it came my turn, she gave me nothing short of spectacular service in a timely manner. I wholeheartedly believe that Tara deserves an opportunity for a higher position in the company or at the very least a raise. There should be more more people like her everywhere.

The store staff are friendly and helpful. My favorite local store. Great bargains.

Im giving this a four-star just for now. Ive only been to this Weis two times. I will say that customer service is pretty good the store seems to be well stocked and organized the best part is its walking distance from where I live.

The supermarket is ok But heir meat sucks for the most part. I keep feeling bad about saying this. The staff is very helpful and polite but numerous time I have encounter brown meat with expired dates,today i, I was just hoping otherwise since I havent visited in a while, but Im disappointed it makes me question is their level of quality? I shouldnt have to see brown meat. Im sorry guys, to give this review, Im being as honest as possible

Couldnt find what I wanted, ask the butcher shop and BAM not only told me where but took me there and spent time understanding what I needed and I walk out happy

The young man Angel at the door had a bit of an attitude problem. So did the cashier. Her scanner was not working and she got annoyed that I was physically unable to pick up the case of water and place it on the belt for her to scan. Not normally so crusty here. Hope the next trip is better. Kindness matters these days.

Michael who runs the self checkout is one of the best employees ive seen in a long time. I went out of my way to stay behind until no one was around and told him he was doing a great job. Workers like that seem far in between and i wanted him to know his dedication was noticed and i hope WEIS of Elkridge is noticing as well.

Very clean store with well stocked shelves. But note, if your dont bring your own bags, they charges 10 cents a bag.

The cashier didn’t respond to my hi how are you today and spoke not a word. When questioned about the one dollar difference per pound in asparagus prices the cashier didn’t respond. Concluding the order her only words that she ever spoke were do you have a Weiss card. I said no I’m from out of the area. So she charged me the extra dollar per pound on the produce never offering to use a courtesy card or offering me a Weis card. Concluding the order she never said thank you have a nice day or anything else. When I went to complain to the manager at the courtesy desk I had to wait while he and two other associates had a personal conversation had nothing to do with business. Finally when he asked if he could help me I told him my issue. He responded I’ll have a talk with her. That was it enough never offered to make up the difference in price. I will never set foot in a store again. Store floors were dirty soiled and produce lying on the floor in the produce department.

I’ve never walked in without having to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke as the employees smoke right next to the doors. So that’s cool.Past that it’s your standard run of the mill “not enough cashiers” grocery store.Sticky linoleum tiles chipped to hell, doors that sorta work, employees yelling across the store to each other.Feels like 1999 in a food lion in a backwater town.

The guy at the self check out was so nice with helping me. He saw me really struggling and ended finishing the rest of my purchase. So 10/10 for customer service. The overall store however, is a little bit pricey. For example, Coke zero was 6.39 here but at Walmart its 4.99. I know its 2 bucks but hey, it saves more for me. Nonetheless, this is a great place to buy if you are buying bulk produce or looking for a couple of deals. Ps. Deals are only for weis card holders/members.

Good prices on meats

Best feature of this Weis is that its open late. You can find some decent deals on standard items with their membership card, but meat is way overpriced there. Aside from that, its a clean friendly store and you will find most of what you need.

I was very happy with the way I was treated. I called the store looking for an item and the clerk was very helpful and she went to check and see if they had the item and came back to me on the phone and said yes they did. This store is a little bit of distance from my house but was well worth the trip. I will be going there from now on.

Wanted to let you guys know how WONDERFUL the store manager is at this location on Waterloo road.His name is ERIC and he went over and beyond to make me happy today. I absolutely love his attitude on such a busy day right before Christmas. Such a well stocked, clean store! I loved when Weis was closer to me. I dont go that often and I find that the cashiers isnt so pleasant. The only reason I gave a 3. Is that I couldnt find something and the gentleman who help me was very nice and I like the sales.

I really like this place now. They went through a rough patch as far as service when they first switched over from Food Lion - but I have to say that now the service is excellent and better than before - very friendly people and I really do appreciate that. The selection overall is never going to be as vast as Giant, but for the most part it works for me - and the prices are much better than Giant. I dont go for every shopping visit, but I go quite a bit. I really appreciate the friendly staff and thats pretty much why I go. I dont love to food shop, so I appreciate that they make it a pleasant experience.

Thank goodness the staff is friendly because the prices are pretty high. I miss Food Lion they were much better prices. One other thing Weiss does not carry a number of products that Food Lion did.

Not a big fan

Weis has good people working there and fair prices. My beef is with their lack of follow up with a complaint I had with their ATM which shorted me 40 dollars. Now 40 dollars isnt much to me but what if this happened to one of our seniors on a fixed income? Weis store managers were ineffective in their help and this poor customer service brought their rating down. Dont expect their customer service to help with any issue of substance. Seniors beware...

While they generally have good pricing on the items they have in stock, the biggest downside to this neighborhood market is that they frequently will be out of stock, or wont carry an item altogether. TH staff is super friendly, and go about their tasks of helping the customer in as professional a manner as one would expect. Certainly not the epitome of customer service, but a great, solid shopping experience, provided what you wanted was available...

Very poor selection of everything. Fruits and vegetables always seem to spoil quickly. The staff, bag people, cashiers, cart runners, customer service and the random employees(who dont seem to be doing anything other than be on their phone) are all so incredibly rude. I live 1 mile away but will drive 15 miles just to go to another grocery store. Sorry not sorry.

This grocery store is pretty good but you gotta read the signs you might not want to 5 adding so 10 idols for the sell price of be careful and read the coupon science because they can be misleading and if you only want 1 or 2 instead of 5 then youre not going to get to sell price the store is OK Im a go there when its convenient to go or I go win and that at another place

Stopped by today (weekend before Thanksgiving) and only ONE register open for the whole store. Long Lines are the norm for this location!The manager said he has a hard time keeping employees. Wonder why? The poor woman working customer service was pulled to fill in for other parts of the store several times while I waited for service leaving the counter completely unattended. They finally pulled someone from the deli to work an extra register - leaving the deli person short staffed. NO WONDER they cant keep employees! They dont hire enough people to run the store adequately, and overwork the people they do have to cover! Its a lousy way to treat the employees and an even worse way to treat their customers!Its time for corporate to give this store what it needs to be a success. Until then, Im shopping elsewhere - I can get most of my groceries online now anyway - and I dont have to beg people to open a register to take my money!

Friendly friendly friendly!! I love the people who work here. I know their names, and they know Mine! I like that. They are all like family to me. If you cant find an item they will you out if their way to find it for you.

They have a good International section. The attendants are slower than in other s supermarkets. Good prices!

I was very excited at first to discover a Weiss in Elk ridge & then I purchased items took home & they were opened. Not happy & not returning.

It sure isnt a food lion

I’m 27; been working since 13 in different job fields to get more experiences. My experience working at Weis was thee up most WORST job experience I EVER had so far in life. They changed my schedule several times trying to portray no call no shows. The managers are VERY bias and unprofessional!!!!! I can go on but I also can see Weis definitely not lasting in the Elkridge area like other successful grocery markets. So I’ll like the universe deal with them😌🦋

The staff is always friendly and professional. I can easily find what Im shopping for and be in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The store is always clean, well stocked and maintained and inviting to come in and shop. Their prices beat Safeway and Giant and are competitive with Walmart.The downside is that you have to hsve a WEIS card to get the sale prices.

I just do not like the supermarket. The supermarket is over crowded with items from the front door all the way to the back. There are things everywhere and it is not very organized. I feel that the supermarket is overpriced and the service there is not the best. They definitely need to spend more time training their workers and hiring better quality of individuals to work there. I avoid this Supermarket like is the plague and drive out of my way to go to the Giant where Im able to get better service and fresher quality of food.

Weis has great prices. Their meat and produce sections always have a lot of variety and quality products. If it was closer to my home it would be my everyday food store.

This Weis recently replaced the Food Lion at the same location. Ive never been to the Food Lion, and I dont typically shop at Weis, but I stopped here to grab a few things since I was driving past. I bought some chicken and didnt notice at the time that it was out of date.

They dont always carry the items that we need on a daily basis. Plus its being filled with Weis only brands which sometimes you just want the name brand stuff. The door to the far right always closes an hour before the store itself closes and there is never a sign telling you to go to the other side which has been annoying for some visiting relatives. The plus side is they have gas rewards. Downside there isnt anywhere close to redeem these points unless you drive west or all the way to Laurel.

Everything I needed was easy to locate. I love the specials. When I set my budget, I always come below it at Weis.
