My regular shop to go to. Would give it 5 stars if the cashier wearing hijab wouldnt be so rude. I dont think this lady likes working there or maybe shed only be nice to anyone that speaks her language 🙃i like the other cashier better. Always so nice and respectful.

We have been buying meat from this place for the past couple of years. The meat is fresh. Friendly ladies at the register. I recommend this place.

I went to get goat meat and I was waiting for more than 15 minutes. The lady at the cashier counter does not even care asking me for any help. When I asked her after my long wait, she simply said we have only 2 guys working and does not bother checking with the guys to help me. I simply left the shop without getting meat. Very bad customer care.

Their meat quality is top notch most of the times ( though everything has some exceptions) but they need to improve on their butcher section people to talk politely to the customers sometimes...coming to the grocery section I love the variety of items and the arrangement made using the space they have got...Finally their customer service is extremely welcoming at times and sometimes not depending on the person who’s at the register. I will give 3.5 overall.. good luck..

Very discourteous owner. Rude and their weight is questionable. Never call and order and that’s when they cheat on the weight. Also their meat prices are very high. Not honest and would not recommend this shop.

This place has great service. You can get fresh goat meat here as well. Its a nice small grocery store well put together.

Be careful when using yr credit card at this store.Watch what they charge u for!Since they don’t scan their products, they will charge u at higher price and several times especially the guy with with glasses!He has no respect for the customers.

The best desi halal store, reminds me of home

I went here the first time, I usually go to bismillah store in Glen Burnie but today I had a trip to Wegmans and I said let me find a halal meat store near that area.. I went inside and I was looking at the meat thinking about how much meat(chicken, ground beef, lamb, etc, is enough for a party of 14. The guy (Spanish accent) was there along with about 4 others he said to me, what you need, I said Im thinking, he said I dont have time, with an attitude . He surprised me like hes the customer and Im the business. At that moment I changed my mind and I left. If the customer service was good, I would have converted to use them always because the meat is the same anywhere. Man that was bad, really bad.

I eat in this great restaurant quite a bit! This is the best place to have a bite. I visit this spot frequently. The food is very good, the staff members are professional and the charge is decent. I enjoy eating in this spot for a good dinner.

I love the selection and variety of foods here. I visit every couple months and they hardly ever seem to be out of anything. Customer service can be hit or miss depending on who is working. Im not sure if its a cultural or gender thing, but one of the ladies working there is a little offputting. I love that they sell both the red and black henna cones. Their samosas are delicious. Overall, I will continue to shop here.

They have everything from groceries to toiletries to a butcher shop. But theyre never polite and welcoming. No smile. No hello. No have a nice day. So I only shop here when Im not close to other halal places. Customers are business, without us, the is no business.... it doesnt hurt to smile, greet us as we walk through the door and thank us for paying your bills. Theres plenty other places to shop.

They cheat about $200 in selling if Shava TV Box which is not working very bad experience be alert if you are there at least dont trust. bad customer service will let you know all bad experiences of this location

Nice place for buying meat

I go here often and never felt out of place. I’m always treated with respect and they always greet and are professional. The staff owners are always respectful. I’m not Muslim but African American . I’ve been going here for years and my mom also . We buy all kinds of stuff here, chicken, Groceries etc . The meat are clean and always fresh . I’ll continue to shop here for a long time .

Most certainly my favourite store to shop in the entire state. The quality of the food, cooked and frozen, available is amazing. I love to come here for grocesseries and almost everyone i know does too. The staff is also cooperative and helpful. The meat is fresh and flavourful!💖

I used to go here for Grocery but they are so much expensive as compare to other grocery stores. They changed their prices every month. They also have a worst customer service.

The owner guy is very rude with customers.

You buy 10 pound meet at highest price and if you weigh it you get 8.5 pounds. When asked they tell you it was fat, while already you r paying 12 dollars per pound for clean meet.

Great place for freshly cut Lamb (cut bone-in on a band saw, or boneless hand trimmed). They also have pre-seasoned chicken, lamb, and beef. Additionally they carry a wide array of spices, dried goods, and fresh ingredients like ginger, garlic, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, etc...

I LOVE this place and usually shop there several times a month. The service is great, the fresh meat is fabulous, the prices are low, the butchers are helpful, it’s clean and the people are kind. What more can I say?As a foodie, I highly recommend Halal Columbia and have it as a favorite on my WAZE app.

I purchased cardamon that was old it did not taste or smelled like cardamom. I brought it back to show it to the owner he refused to exchange it or return my money. He was very rude and unprofessional. Ill take my money elsewhere.

Good place to get fresh goat meat and chicken. Store is not too big but has all the items. Theres little wait time in its peak hours. Place could feel a little cramped when theres too much rush. And because most people come here for meat, the response time is pretty fast at the store.

Have been going there for the past 5-6 years since the shop opened.Small shop but always have what I need and are well stocked.Meat section is also well stocked, and the staff has always been courteous and compliant to whatever kind of meat selection I order. Even if something doesnt turn out right and I mention to the owner, he has graciously replaced it at no extra charge.

Great place to shop a huge variety of South Asian spices especially Pakistani and Indian masala. Its every kind you name it and you ll find it there. Frozen section has a large variety too.The best part is the halal meat where you find fresh white and red meat of any kind and they prepare it the way you like.I like the veggies too they are always fresh.In a nut shell, I find every thing for my kitchen which save my time and does not let me wonder much.Highly recommended.👍🏼

Top notch,and clean with courteous service and most importantly, a very clean and efficient fast- moving halal butchery, unlike some other big brand halal Desi stores in the area where the meat literally stinks (old/rotten) and the goods are mostly expired.Columbia Halal Meat store definitely puts all those Desi halal stores to shame. Highly recommended. 5 stars all the way!

I love this store. Its not a big store but i found everything i need. Meat was very good and fresh. Overall experience of mine was great. I recommend everyone to come and visit this store if u want all desi stuff at one spot and especially if u want fresh and good meat.

Very good quality meet at very reasonable prices. Most important thing the availability of organic hand cut chicken in small size small but very clean store with courteous staff. Found several items cheaper in the holy month of Ramazan. I will recommend friends and family.

Clean, fresh meat, Goat available too... Marinated meats the indian sub continent loves it. Kebabs and tikkas... Plus they sell vegetables.. Right next to the Costco in elkridge. That takes care of the weekly shopping in one go.. friendly ataff.. Highly recommend

Of all the Halal meat stores in and around Columbia and Ellicott City, this store sells the best Halal meat which is fresh, tender, well cleaned, cut to size as requested. I never regretted buying meat from here. Smoked goat paya (feet) is sold here, which is not very commonly sold at other meat stores.I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a good halal meat store.

Roach infested. Went there for the first time a few months ago and saw a roach crawling on the shelf like it owned the place. Totally disgusted, I went to the man who was at the register and told him what I saw. The worst part was he was neither concerned, surprised nor alarmed!!! Clearly I was telling him something he already knew. So it’s a NO for me - never going back.

Typical small Indo-Pak grocery and meat shop. Nothing negative. Big plus is quality of goat meat. I cant stand smell that is often associated with goat/sheep meat in US and I have never gotten that smell from goat meat I have purchased here and that is a big plus in my book. So if you want meat that tastes/smells like the meat that you buy in Pakistan, this is the place to go to.

The meat used to be good, but the quality seems to be going down. Now they are selling regular goat instead of baby goat, but still charging the same prices.

Their meat is too expensive comparing to other places. Bought sweet items, they are not fresh at all. Bought paratha, the packet was open and all the parathas were broken half. Most people don’t ask for the price per LB of the meat. Please ask their price first so that you can compare with other stores. I just bought goat meat per LB $9.99 plus tax. I didnt ask the price since it was busy but realized that I overpaid when I got home. Stuffs are rude and have too much attitude. I won’t recommend this place at all since we have many other desi grocery stores near by.

I like buying Goat meat and vegetables here but I felt chicken I brought on one Sunday got some odd smell and had to through away in couple of days. May be it was just one day, but I didnt want to take chances there after.

They are the most costly halal store in Maryland based on my experience.. They take advantage of being in a good location. Its not even a little more expensive.. its a lot !

Great meat selections that are always fresh. I love the marinated chicken drumsticks and the seekh kabab is good, but could be more flavorful. Prices are definitely not cheap, youll pay around $30 for 2 bags of drumsticks and a bag of seekh kabab, but its not outrageous either.

This places sells zabiha halal meat and indo pak groceries.Small place but has lot of stuff. Also sells vegetables.They have fresh made samose and biryani everyday.
