Great customer service. Never make me feel rushed and explained what was wrong with my laptop, what could be done to fix it and explained everything easily for me to understand. Nor did he pressure me to pay a service I wasnt ready for at the moment. Oscar was very kind and helpful to me.

Excellent place to take your computers to be repaired. The service is the best, plus you may order cables, mouse pads, and printer ink for a third of the price you would pay else where. I took my laptop here last week, due to some issues with my laptop being about 5 years old, wouldnt charge, and the charger port was out of place making it impossible to use unless and I took it apart with a small screw driver and did a temporary fix. I wanted to get it fixed permanently, and Genesis did a great job, and the cost was reasonably priced. Ill definitely take my laptop there again.

Went in with a SSD that failed. Replacement is not particularly hard but having the right equipment is important. If you are looking for a computer repair place, this is the one to go to. VERY Honest work. I got to ask questions about the system and they were all answered. Very quick turn around as well. Nice people.

I came in with my laptop that had a broken key and come to find out, Oscar had diagnosed the issue within a day. He told me what it needed and got it ordered right away. He replaced it and while doing so, he accidentally broke the wire to the motherboard and immediately called me to let me know what was going on. He offered to fix it since it was his mistake. You dont find many businesss like this nowadays that fix their own mistakes. I cant appreciate that enough. Thank you Oscar! Will definitely be returning for any other issues!

They were my last resource as I had taken my laptop to the Geek Squad at Best Buy and had even called Samsung (who they all wanted to charge me half the price of what I had paid for a year and 2 month old computer). Best technician to diagnostic and fix all laptops problems, period. Genesis Computer is better and cheaper than superstores (best buy, office depot) and always try support local business if I can.

After trying to take my computer to Best Buy and being told I would need to sign up for a yearly subscription I decided to go to this nearby repair shop. I spoke with Oscar who said he could have my hard drive replaced and Windows reinstalled within the day. Since I use my computer for work, he really saved the day. He even went out of his way to show me the old hard drive as well as the modifications on my computer. I even requested an invoice for the repairs which he was able to provide. I took my lenovo yoga computer in after I started to have issue with it blue screening and a speaker problem. When I took the computer in they were very nice and said they would look at it. After about a day I received a call and was given a quota for fixing the problem as well as an option of fixing my blown speakers (also gave me the option of picking up my laptop while we waited for the speakers to come in). I have to say it was rather a reasonable price which was around somewhere $70 or so plus tax came out to around $80. I thought it was reasonable then to go to best buy and spend a fortune. Personally will take my computer in every time

I brought in a brand new gaming laptop that was just over tge 14 day return period for best buy. There was a problem with the fan being very loud and grinding. Oscar took a look at it and in almost no time called to inform me that the bearing was faulty and needed to be replaced. He went above and beyond to find a replacment for me even though it was a brand new part that was hard to find. It didnt cost me much, and the part got here quickly. He fixed it in no time and now I have a quiet running laptop again! I visited every other local computer shop in El Paso and they all wanted over $150 and could not tell me the reason or what they were doing to my computer. The owner at Genesis (Oscar) fixed my computer in 5 mins and did not want to charge me anything. Had to beg him to take $20 for it. Nobody works on any of my PCs but Genesis Computers now. Horrible experience. Ive been conducting business with Jim Silva @ Genesis computers since 2010 with two laptops. This past week total change of attitude, service, and work. Came in w/Computer trouble with drivers. Poor turnaround time at first. Jim states customers are told 48 hrs of issue. Took 5 days after I started inquiry the 4th day on just the status. Next, system was not working with blue tooth and activation key was needed. Took comp again. Took 3 days to get status back when ready. Now, continued issues with activation key. Called Jim to request help and stated issue. He stated issue is not his concern and now to purchase another key. He is non-caring when fixing his errors/mistakes. Concerns are the integrity with his work completing the work right, the first time. Now after he charge me, now faced to take comp again somewhere else to fix bluetooth driver and key. Be careful with work from Genesis Comp.
