He did what no one else could. Ive been a long time customer of ER Computer Doctors both for personal and business needs. Last month, I took Carlos a damaged external hard drive with irreplaceable family pictures and videos. I hadnt transferred my info to the cloud out of laziness. Carlos was able to recover my pics and videos. Not only did he do this but he told me that if he was not able to do it, he wouldnt charge me for attempting it. Once he called me and said it could be done, he told me where to buy a new hard drive, recommended various sites for cloud storage; I was able to go and buy the replacement and take it to him. He didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need and he was honest about how fast he could do it. Ill keep returning based on his excellent customer service.
Excellent service and very talent guys. This is the second time I bring a laptop to these guys, and they always surprise me. I have a very old Dell XPS 15 laptop I purchased on 2011 with an excellent sound system, so replace it was not an option. The fan belt was making a horrible noise when playing videos, so it was really annoying. Carlos checked my laptop, found the problem, ordered the replacement and solved it in one week. Two weeks ago I brought Carlos another one year old DELL laptop that has been causing me many headaches. The DELL support center wanted to charged me with almost U$300 plus taxes to replace, according to them, the LCD display. I told Carlos that I didnt want to spend too much money in this useless laptop, and I have lost my hopes in recovering it. Carlos told me to leave my laptop for a pair of weeks to check and see what he can do with it. He called me two days ago to pick up my laptop. It is working perfectly as a new brand one. What I paid for his service was lower than the one DELL wanted to charge me. I really recommend these guys, they know what they are doing.
Called for a business office set up. They set up an appointment for that same day, arrived promptly, then proceeded to set up my office! Paid exactly what I was quoted over the phone and now my office computer, phone, fax, and all corresponding wires and boxes neatly tucked away! These guys will be my go to guys from now on. Carlos explained everthing so that I understood what he did. Great customer service coupled with professional work!
I have been a customer for many years and I have always received prompt and professional service. The first time I went it was out of desperation when I thought I had lost all the stuff in my computer and not only was Carlos able to recover everything, he managed to do it within 24hrs. That is impressive and won a loyal customer for life.I have recommended many people thru out the years and so far everyone has been very happy with them, this last time I had my computer repaired my computer was frozen and wouldnt start to windows and again they managed to get me back in working without a problem.Thank You
Save yourself!! I had a bad experience with them.They say that estimate is free. But when they realized that you may decline their offer, things get ugly.There are several strange terms and conditions they have, that they never mention upfront. Be extra careful to read those and do not get into their trap. The guy in the store makes no mention of those things and is condescending when an unassuming customer is perplexed to realize what he has gotten into. They did nothing with my computer for two days but maintained that they are working on. They turned me back at 3:00 PM citing that as per their vaguely specified rules, they do not return computer before 4 PM. This was an act of intimidation and served no other purpose. Rules....that was wasteful of my time and caused so much worry. Soon after, I went to best buy. It took 5 minutes for a friendly person at geek squad to explain the problem and its solution.
I have used the services of ER Computer Doctors twice now in the last several months, once to remove a nasty virus from my computer and later to upgrade an older laptop to Windows 7. Both times, I was very pleased with the quality of service and the speed at which it was handled...and the price was reasonable. They talk at length with you before beginning work to make sure all parties are on the same page as to what will be done. Dont hesitate to call these folks, you will not regret it.

Went in for a consult on a broken screen digitizer for a laptop. Having done research ahead of time, I had an idea on what the parts cost and the labor involved.The price was very reasonable and they seem to know what they were doing without trying to upsell stuff.

ER Computer Doctor saved my life!!! I brought a computer that was having so many issues and a I had all my homework from the semester in there. It was my fault that I didnt have a back-up, and the computer crashed. I felt horrible about it. The costumer service was excellent, they calmed me down, and I left my computer with them. ER Computer Doctors had my computer in a timely manner, they saved all my files in a back-up and now my computer has been working faster and better than ever. Thank you Carlos!!!!!

You have been warned! Stay far away from these people. I am changing my review from 5 stars to 1 star. This place is a complete nightmare with the worse customer service I have EVER dealt with. What should have been a simple replacement for a laptop fan turned into my laptop being fried and ruined. It took 2 months just for them to claim they fixed my computer. Once I got home, the laptop failed to start (they did not even check to see if the computer turned on). I was more than understandable and allowed them ample time to fix the computer I had to move out of El Paso, so they said theyd fix it and ship it to me. 3 months go by and they explain to me that it was unfix-able and if I wanted one of their laptops (probably another customers laptop), I demanded my dead laptop back and a refund for $300. After stalling for another month they then said that they shipped my dead laptop and a check for $300. 3-4 weeks has gone by now and I have yet to receive my dead laptop and my refund. It is almost impossible to get a hold them via phone or even when you go into the store (the store doors were open during business hours, but no one was in there, anyone could steal their customers computers). I am extremely disappointed with this business. I even reported them to BBB and their business did not reply to their inquiries. I am contemplating on legal action against them. Please do not risk doing business with such unethical and irresponsible people. if youre reading this store owner, HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?
What a terrible experience! My first clue to go elsewhere should have been the stack of dusty computers and computer parts in the front corner of the store. I ended up leaving my laptop for repair and decided to pick it up unrepaired after 14 weeks of ludicrous stories about the part not arriving. I called several times during business hours over this 14 week period and often no one answered the phone. You cannot even leave a message as the mailbox is full. When I went to the store to collect my computer, I was told it was locked in the owners office. The employee working at that time (the same one I spoke with on the phone a few times) continued to stall me by stating the following: 1) he did not know when the owner would be back as he often works offsite and does not keep regular hours at the store; 2) I would have difficulty contacting the owner via the website because it was not working properly and they were working on it (REALLY? A computer repair and network solutions company? If that is true, that says a lot about their ability!); and 3) the owners email address on the business cards displayed on the counter was not correct as they were old business cards. I hope this was audio and video taped as the owner responded to another poor Google rating recently. If he really cares about this business he could learn a great deal by listening to the exchange I had with the employee, repairing the business phone voicemail, and being more present in his company. On the business website, the owner touts the employee I spoke with as a long-time friend and the only other person he would trust to work on computers. Not sure why the owner trusts him with the reputation of his business.I left empty handed after three and one half months.I contacted the owner via the website, his business card email address, and the business Facebook page. The owner did respond to me via email apologizing for his staff and for the inconvenience. He also said he had ordered the part and would not charge me. Had this happened several weeks prior, I would have been accepting of his explanation. At this point, I have no faith in this business or the owners word. Keep in mind they have access to the data on your computer. Would you trust a business that operates like this with your data?I was able to collect my computer the next business day and put this whole ridiculous experience behind me. A Facebook search reveals the owner may also be involved in a boot making business (see a five star rating from a boot company in the reviews) as well as a solar panel business. I have no experience with the owner in these other ventures, but it reminds me of the phrase jack of all trades, master of none”.
We took our computer in for what seemed like a simple fix, but it turned into a nightmare. They had our computer for almost three months, and we finally decided to just pick it up without them fixing it. We were lied to on more than one occasion, once we were told that the part had been delivered, then told that it wasn’t there, but that they would call and let us know when it would be delivered. We never got a call with that date, so we called again, and were told that it would be here on August 22nd, and that it would only take a couple of hours to make the repair. On Tuesday the 23rd, we called but were told by the man in the office that only the owner could talk with us about it, and he would have the owner call us, and he also gave us the owners cell phone number. The owner never returned calls concerning the status of the repairs, despite leaving several messages on his cell, and with the person working in the office throughout that week. If they had kept us updated with information we would have been much less upset about the situation, but this was the WORST customer service we have ever experienced, and we highly recommend that you don’t use them for your computer repair needs.

I went into the store looking for a ssimple cable that i cant find anywere else. The man was rood rushed me off and when i asked for further assistance on help finding the part because im new in town he told me that i could. Google just like him i will never go there again nor would i suggest it..
