Very poor service waited for 30 min no one would help me. I watched an old black man who had a walking cane ask 3 people for help and they kept telling him they would get someone to help him and never did, I went to talk to a manager and he told me to stop playing the black card. To this I ask him what is a black card and how do you obtain one and if I have one do you have a Mexican card. I told that manager that its a shame that he had ascended so high in the company because he sucked.will never go back to that store again, and thats shameful because I love tiger direct
I received a mailer for 10% off one item 599.00 and up and decided to go checkout the store was in the market for a new washer/dryer. Went on 3/18/2015 I picked out what I wanted unfortunately I had left my mailer at home I did advise my sales associate Byron that I had a 10% off coupon that I would return with it to purchase my item he told me no worries we can make the purchase today and you can bring in the mailer or text me the code and you will still get the 10% off. I was skeptical but was reassured when I saw him talk to his supervisor about the 10%off and he also said yes just bring in the mailer. Byron then advised me they had a promotion for free delivery. So all in all I was pretty happy!! This was on Wed. on Thurs. I took my mailer in to Byron and he said great I will apply it to your account. I said Thank you and left... later that evening I received a call from Byron advising me that he spoke to his supervisor and since I had received free delivery I could not get my 10%off I was upset but did not argue. I hate when companies do this... he and his supervisor assured me I would get my 10%off but in the end I did not. I was very unhappy but what could I do I had already signed all the paperwork. Needless to say I will not be buying anything else from them I do not like to feel cheated!!!!
Went there to buy a bunch of components to build my first computer. Had a sales associate follow me around and walk me through everything. Answered questions, made suggestions, and gave me a bunch of tips and tricks for assembling the parts. Of course you could tell that some of his suggestions were based on his need to make a sale and at times they were just rehearsed pitches but thats to be expected I suppose. NEVER did I feel pressured to buy a certain product or to buy the more expensive model. Great experience!
My experience with Tiger Direct was very sad. I had a very simple request and instead of answering the question straight forward the sales rep laughed at me. I returned the computrer that I had bought and that is the last of what I want to do with them.
If I need computer parts and cant wait the 4-5 business days for shipping then CompUSA is the only place Ill go. Just like any electronics store there are knowledgeable and not-so-knowledgeable staff working there. From what Ive seen, the staff at this particular CompUSA is above average and can be very helpful. They are probably understaffed and underpaid so cut them some slack. I have never gone to the store without knowing exactly what I was looking for and theyve always had what I needed. Do your research before you shop and dont blame the staff for your incompetence. Its the best “offline” shop you can go to and youll be sure to get the best bang for your buck.
I walked through there yesterday hoping to get a great deal on a memory stick but I was disappointed. For a place thats 80% empty, all of the items that customers normally use the prices were reduced only to 10%. The other items like shelves and displays were 70% off. All of the items that customers use were 20 percent. Total waste of time.
My first experience with TigerDirect was actually through my son, a computer geek if there ever was one, and it was ordering computer-related material via internet. Last year, my wife & I decided wed had enough of the CRT and went out for a flat-screen. I knew from workmates that I needed to get smart LED and was biased toward SONY. Research led me to the best, a 46 Bravia, and the next step was from where. A leading home electronics business-and competitor to then CompUSA (now TigerDirect) ignored us upon entering the store, big mistake. We gave them a reasonable amount of time to find two bewildered purchasers, but nada. Next stop was CompUSA/TigerDirect. As soon as we walked in, salespeople couldnt help us enough. Within an hour, we were walking out with a brand spanking new 46 Bravia with all the trimmings. That was during December 2012.Fast forward to 23FEB2013 and time for The Cornudas Cure, which was the grand re-opening of Old West El Paso in CornudasTX under the auspices of owner May Carson. For me, my goal was to pedal 120miles/192kms roundtrip, leaving after work on 22FEB, camping, arriving mid-morning 23FEB for the blow-out, beginning my return late afternoon same day, camping, arriving home 23FEB. Well, all was fine and good EXCEPT when I biketour, it is always a case of feast and famine. The 30mile+/48kms+ distance between Subway in Far East El Paso and Cornudas is absolutely bereft of any eateries--the Shamrock in Hueco Village is long gone and its replacement, Cubby Hole Cafe, is still a cement pad. In other words, it is famine for a good long ways. and particularly difficult in a headwind--almost always a condition if pedaling West.Anyway, the upshot of this long-winded tale is that I kept my emergency food (lots of beef jerky) stashed atop the AC recharger for my Nokia 6010. During one of my many stops, I inadvertently pulled out the recharger along with the jerky. You know what happened; the recharger is now somewhere along US62-180 between Cornudas and Subway. So my task was to replace that vital charger. My first, and best, stop was this TigerDirect, solely because of their excellent attention. Sure enough, Linel helped me immediately. With one look, she knew my Nokia is a bit of a dinosaur, but she told me to investigate Batteries Plus as a possible solution. Sure enough, they were able to help me, though the antiquity of my cell required a special order.I cannot recommend Tiger Direct highly enough. Forget going anywhere else; the personnel here will go above and beyond to satisfy your electrical needs. This is a number 1, 5-star plus establishment. It will always be my first choice, and it should be yours, too.
I went to my local comp USA store three days ago and purchased a ASUS G75vw-ts2 which for those of you whom do not know this is about a $1500 dollar full gaming laptop, along with this purchase i also spent another $250 on a SSD and $100 on a mouse and a few other small items. They offered me to swap the info over into my new drive for free since i purchased all equipment there and was handling it all in house, which ended up costing me 90$ bc they sales man offerd me that not the store..... the techs which are very lazy and unorganized informed me that it would only take roughly 2 hours to do so since it was a brand new laptop with no other programs loaded besides factory. i came back around 6 hours later after dinner mind you i dropped it off before lunch and they had no clue what was going on with it and told me the tech was back out at lunch for the second time that day. i spoke with both managers of the store they told me give them unitl close and they would have it all squared away . i came back at 9 that night to find out that it was only at 30% complete they were so sorry and all this other non sense........ but insured me over night would definitely have this problem done just due to load time. i returned around 10:30 the next day to find out they havent even started on it yet and that they didnt know who was working on it and they would have to transfer me ppl. they will not refund me my money for the services in which i have yet to receive and informed me once again that now they just are gonna make me a recovery disk and format the old hard drive which i coulda done myself... overall the store has great items and information from certain people there but there tech area is completely garbage and customer service and maintenance are very rude and obnoxious. I will never return here again unless i am going in straight for one item and need no help whatsoever.
17 people in line only 2 registers open....while they have 3 other empolyees stand near a display looking over at them......20 minute wait.....
Waited in store for over 1/2 hour trying to get someone to help us out in video card department...people kept saying there getting someone..
Staff was very helpful.
