AMAZING SERVICE! I had my mom take her car to this location to see what was wrong with it. It is an older car and she does not understand cars (I dont either, but my husband does) the problem is that we are not in El Paso, so we could not be there to see in person. I was in communication with Caleb and WOW he was amazing. He answered all the questions I had, gave us the information I needed, and sent us pictures of everything that was wrong before and during so we could see the difference. He definitely went the extra mile! Who does that? He didnt have to do all the above, but he did because he is excellent. He was honest, patient, friendly, respectful. I definitely recommend this store! We will be taking moms car here when needed!

We have had excellent experiences at this Midas shop! The entire staff are very professional and respectful. They always take time to listen and then provide thorough explanations of things that need servicing or replacing. They also let us know about things that are in good condition and do not need servicing. The service manger Joe and his assistant Jonathan always give us complete explanations of work that needs to be done along with estimates that include details and discounts whenever possible.We also appreciate the excellent service provided by service technician Joe Morales! He is very knowledgable and detailed in his work. He quickly identifies problem areas and provides frequent progress updates. He takes time to provide clear explanations. Joe also provides service options and asks permission prior to correcting any additional problems found while working on our vehicles.Thanks again to all the professionals at the Midas shop on N. Yarbrough. We will definitely be coming back for car services for years to come!!

Went to Walmart (cause they opened earlier) well, they would not do the oil change, they said that my vehicle, Mazda tribute, was not in optimal conditions!!!????? So by then Midas was open, Great customer service, great coffee! In & out in 45 mins, Will always be their customer.
My SUV needed to get serviced for an oil change and brakes so I decided to try Midas. The service and professionalism was superb. Jonathan and Joe went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was running smoothly and addressed all my concerns. They did an excellent brake job and I am highly satisfied with their service snd recommend them.

Took my small car for an oil change and they were very fast. It didnt take 3 hours like pep boys, they didnt steal my stuff like pep boys and they didnt leave my car in the parking lot with the windows down like pep boys
Went in for an oil change and ended up with a huge bill of everything that I needed when all I asked for was an oil change. Then when I didnt do that I was charged twice as much for oil change because they decided to use something else when I specifically asked for the special. I dont appreciate being taken advantage. Never going here again.

I needed an oil change and wheel alignment and was provided with excellent service from the beginning to end from Jonathan and Joe. Greeted at the door and was recommended many options for what else needed to be done to my car with great prices compared to others. Amazing staff, amazing service, I will be recommending others here!

I will start off by saying THANK YOU TO Jonathan, Joe for great customer service more than what I expected from a auto shop repair.I had a part go bad on the car, rather than tell me about it I was showing the part not many shops do that hes very old school to come back in 2 or the customer sitting show them the part that went back or take them outside and show them the part that is bad. I was not the only person in there. To see Joe, Jonathan take the time was just more than what I expected.Not only that I went outside to look at my car and one of the service technician working on my car showed me the old tires that came off my vehicle and how bad my alignment was.It gets better the service tech actually talked to me and explained everything that they were doing my vehicle to make sure my tires would wear evenly.I am not even from El Paso Im just passing through but to have customer service like this is more than what I expected.THANK YOU ALL FOR A GREAT JOB!Honesty still works honest people are still out there.

I am now revamping my review after waiting 4 1/2 hours we were charged an astronomical amount of money $436 to fix an exhaust leak. I feel extremely taken advantage of because we were in a bad situation, out of town and Im disabled. At first, I was impressed that they were willing to help however they could. But when it was time to pay I now feel extremely taken advantage of. Midas shop was in El Paso off Yarbrough.

Really bad service... they placed my tire wrong I got a flat and they didn’t take responsibility of the bad tire... they said i never paid for warranty when they specifically said the tires had warranty before I purchased them... I had to buy a brand new tire from another place and take it to them, my husband had to interfere because they were placing my tire wrong AGAIN... took 2 days to get my car back... horrible experience 👎🏼

Took my truck in for brake service. Customer service was great. The manager was very professional and was out to make sure i left happy. Price was solid, had my car out in a timely manner. I recommend this shop to everyone.
Complementary service checks with oil change. Also they filled up other fluids and did a free tire rotation. All of that at a very reasonable price. I also really enjoyed the the break area they had a nice Keurig machine and a big water filter with a bunch of magazines and good A/C.

I had to take my vehicle back one week after replacing my brakes for them to be serviced again and had a difficult time trying to get an appointment. Why would I have to wait again when I already waited the first time?! I paid a hefty price and would think I wouldve been seen right away, but customer service is not in their vocabulary. Oh, and my brakes are squealing again!! Definitely not returning. 😠
Do not recommend this place at all. Bad customer service, overpriced services, and the wait is very long. If I had a choice of giving this place 0 - negative stars, I would. I came for a oil change and I was here for 6 hours. I also bought a front and back windshield for my car and not even using it 5 times, it broke.

I orginally purchased my brakes in 2016. Ive been here 4 times with 3 replacements. Here I am again now they are ssying its my driving habbits. I use this vehicle less now because i have a 2nd one. Its a 2010 so its not that old. Very disappointed in the treatment I received from Caleb.

I went there to get my sensors and breaks changed a while ago. Today I went because I had a broken radiator hose. They appreciate loyal costumers.
Customer service is the worst. Specifically the dude at the front desk with the mustache. They obviously dont care to earn new business. This guy was rude and dismissive and made it clear that he doesn’t care about the customer. Also, an hour and a half for an oil change? With only 2 cars ahead. Come on. My parents came last month and experienced the same thing but I thought I’d see for myself. Yeah they do cheap oil changes but I would much rather go elsewhere to pay a bit more and get at least decent service. I work at a tire shop and often get asked where to get oil changes and I will never recommend this place.
Took my car to get an oil change and now my car won’t start never had any problems with my car what so ever and now literally every time I go to start my car it won’t turn on or it takes 30 minutes to start I feel as though because I am i woman and went by myself they tried to get over and did something so I would have to come and spend more money.
Staff are friendly and don’t try to BS you or sell you stuff you don’t need. Wait time is short and prices are fantastic. I have been paying almost twice as much for the same oil change elsewhere. Not anymore :)
I came in to the place with no one to greet me, so I figured they were busy so I sat down waiting for 10 minutes. Before I was greeted by a very rude and unpleasant man who didnt even seem to care that I was there. However I still needed an oil change to I stayed to get it. He mumbled every time he spoke, so I asked him a few times to repeat what he said. The service was quick but they found that I had a leak in my vehicle and he attempted to explain to me what it was but he really couldnt, almost like he was coming up with it on the spot. He said i had a month to fix it or my car would break down. So i took his recommendation and continued to pay for my oil change, I paid in cash waiting for change, then he gets a phone call and walks away. So I wait for my change for 10 minutes as he talks on the phone. He returns so I ask for my change and he told me that he gave to me already, then before we started to argue, an official for the code of compliance walks in about a wrong placed sign on the median. He argues that he didnt put it there. But she tells him that hes the only car shop in the area and its in front of his shop so its his. He acted so shocked by the accusation and says Ill take it down even though I didnt put there. I gave up on change and walked to my vehicle and drove off. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS MIDAS or any other one for that matter. Im warning everybody else to please avoid this place.
Dont go here. If I could rate lower I would. A 2 hour job took 2 days and resulted in more damages to my car from Midas. They were supposed to just do the labor, I brought in my parts and broke my original parts, kept those parts, charged me for other parts, put in the wrong part, and had to return to correct the situation for them to damage the car. The first day took over 3 hours past closing so nearly 6 hours on the first day and returned the following morning because the car was worse then when initially brought in. The second day was 7 hours and the car was done again after closing, screeching with a noise it had not been making. They left the wheel loose.

Just went in there the lobby was empty....I went for an oil change and I saw one vehicle insude the guy told me it was 2 hours of wait.....WOW! I asked him can you do my vehicle first it is just an oil change, he said no because the other vehicle got there before, I understand but honestly one vehicle in their shop means a lot when other are full I am atcLube and Go it only took them 25 minutes....oh and by the way they are very busy.....
I went to this Midas shop at the corner of Yarbrough and Rojas to get an oil change because I had received a coupon in mail for a conventional oil change for $18.99 and when I get there, the guy working the counter, told me I couldnt use this coupon because the oil they use for the conventional oil change couldnt be use on my car which is a 2013 Nissan Sentra because my car uses a thicker oil. He said only a few cars could use this coupon. What a joke and rip off.
Took my car there they gave me a diagnostic and said it was the computer waited a week or so for it to arrive when it got there they had to send it back because they ordered the wrong one, after another week they got it and said the computer was no longer the problem and said to call when they found the problem and 1 month past they still can’t fix it I was going to take it from there, to some real mechanics and the owner wanted me to pay the computer when he wasn’t sure the computer was a problem,he wasn’t there through the whole process, he was real un profesional,,,,,,,,, only good at changing oils

Just came back from changing my oil. Very poor customer service. I was watching the guy who changed my oil and he never changed the oil filter. also, the screws that hold the plastic guard under the car were left loose. Never come back to this place....

I was calling to find out if they could fix my muffler. The guy who answered put me on hold right away to pay a personal bill then made a call to tell someone he paid his bill. Seriously poor customer service. Thanks for showing me where not to spend my money.
I gave theme two stars because they are polite and courteous but they do not have a clue about how to work on a car. If you come for one problem, they will actually find out the problem. However, they will screw up everything else in the process. Then they call to other places to find out how to fix everything.
I went in today to get my headers done on my car. Which they did a good job but they scratched my paint. Now my fenders are dull from where they Tried to cover it up. I didn’t notice it until I got to a gas station with lighting, because I got out of there at night or else I would said something.

My partner went over there this morning to get an oil change on the car. The gentlemen there werecomplete ass holes. My partner told them good morning they didnt respond back. All they said were what do you need. He said needed an oil change for the car. They pointed at the office. Then this fat guy named Matt came out again rude didnt respond to the good morning just how can I help you. My partner didnt understand him so the gentlemen was yelling. If people dont want to work then stay home. You all need to find new employees. But glad to say at Lube and Go the experience was much more plesent!!! Heres to Midas!!!

Horrible customer service if thats what you wanna call it. My gf went there cause she had just gotten a screw in one of her tires and they immediately told her that the tire couldnt be fixed and she needed a new one. They immediately quoted her $279 and were pressuring her on it. So she called me to ask for my opinion on it, luckily I had just gotten out of work and I went by there to check it out. Her tire was most definitely fixable but the tech guy insisted it wasnt. So I asked him if he could by any chance swap out the tire and put the spare on it cause I didnt want my gf driving the car that way and risk getting flat on the way to another location. So I asked and the guy seemed hesitant to even want to do that for us, but he finally agreed. So they took the car into the shop to do so and Im watching this guy torque the lug nuts, non stop instead of taking them off to swap out for the spare. So I approached him and asked if he was tightening them and he said no, but that they were too tight and there wasnt anything he could do anymore. So we left it as it was and I followed my gf to another shop were they were immediately able to remove the lug nuts and patch the tire for $6. Idk why people are so quick to wanna rip people out of money and have such a negative work ethic when you work in a customer service position. If you dont like your job, quit.

Horrible Customer Service... Basically paid $650.00 for a radiator flush and oil change. Took my 2001 Chrysler Sebring in to have a freeze plug leak fixed. I was quoted $750 to have the leak fixed, a radiator flush, a water inlet tube installed and an oil change.And then was told that I had a blown head gasket and it would cost $1100 more. So after deciding on taking it somewhere else for the head gasket repair all customer service changed. I asked Caleb the MANAGER for a break down of what I was paying for he stood there and chuckled at my request. So by then I was pretty upset and told him that he was the manager here but knows nothing and does nothing here. He replied that it was one of the PERKS of being the manager, and that he didnt have to do anything. Next day I talked to Bill the OWNER and he apologized for his manager, saying that he was probably having a bad day. He refunded $100 off the original $750.00. He had my car towed to another mechanic where the new mechanic said that the freeze plug was still leaking. So it was towed back to Midas. After a couple of days Bill said that my car was fixed and I could DRIVE it away, even though he said the head gasket was blown on it. The next day he said the battery was dead so he had it towed back to the new mechanic. While I was on the phone I could hear him complaining on how it has cost him $100 extra in tow charges. It is not my fault that they didnt fix it right the first time. Again the new mechanic says that it is still leaking and that it looks like they did nothing at all to try to repair it. So he said he will just fix it himself instead of sending it back for a 3rd time. It turns out that the freeze plugs were installed without any sealant. New mechanic sealed the freeze plugs and said that the head gasket was fine and that all it needed was new spark plugs and power steering fluid. I paid $13.00 for new spark plugs and $5.00 for the power steering fluid. Big difference from $1100. Dont take your vehicle there. The absolute Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. We chose Midas because we wanted it done professionally without any problems. They gave the worst customer service ever and they didnt even repair it properly. Stay away from this place. Save yourself the headache. We will never set foot in this place again and we are seriously thinking of filing a lawsuit against them. We payed $650 and the freeze plugs were still leaking.

This review is for the MIDAS located at 1192 N Yarbrough Drive in El Paso, TX (Bill Thomas is the owner)On AUG 28th 2017 I went in for an oil/filter change, tire rotation, balance and wheel alignment on my 2012 Nissan Pathfinder (Preventive maintenance due to long trip ahead) . Bill Thomas told me that it would be about 1 ½ to get the services done so I left and went back about two hours later. I was told that it would be about 10 more minutes because they had to do a second adjustment on the alignment of one of the rear wheels. I waited a total of 4 hours from drop off time. I was told that everything was good after the second adjustment was made. I drove to San Antonio on a medical emergency and on my way back noticed that there were fine rubber particles all over the rear of the vehicle and coming from both the rear tires. The tire tread was visibly worn (this was not the case before I took it in for service all four tires were bought together in 2016). I took it the Pathfinder in to Bill Thomas early the next day and he said that they would get to it as soon as possible. I left it there overnight and when I called for a status the next day they had not got to it yet. I went in a few minutes later and they had already found that the alignment was out of specs again. I told Bill the owner that I needed to know why my vehicle was doing that. He started asking me why did I bring the vehicle in to begin with? Was there any problem with it before I brought it in? I told him I brought it in just as a preventive measure due to my trip to San Antonio (He kept asking the same thing repeatedly). I told him I that I needed the problem fixed and the damaged tires replaced. He said that it was not his responsibility and that something must have happened after the service to make the alignment to be out of specs again (I drove on I-10 from El Paso to San Antonio and back plus about 50 to 70 city miles no rough roads or incidents of any kind).He said that the tires must have been bad already or that something must have been wrong with the suspension before the service (The technicians didn’t say anything about that after the service) He told me that it wasn’t his fault and that at most he was willing to pay for the prorated cost of the two damaged tires but he emphasized the fact that he was not responsible for the damage done. I got the impression that he thought I was not being truthful to him and was just trying to get a pair of new tires out of the deal. I am in the military and respect and integrity are very important to me. I drove off before I got to the point of disrespecting him or doing something that would get me in trouble. I understand that he has a business to run and a bottom line to care for but when my crew screws the pooch somehow, I am overall responsible for their acts because I am their supervisor and the one who trains them (in his case he hires them).I took the vehicle in to the Nissan dealership and was told that the tires needed to be replaced for safety, that the alignment was way out of specs and that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the suspension or anything that would have caused the damage to the tires if the service at MIDAS would have been done right to begin with.It cost me $72.28 to get the alignment re-done and will likely cost me a few hundred dollars to replace the two damaged tires which I would not be thinking of replacing for at least a couple of years if it wasn’t because of “The service EXPERTS at MIDAS”. Lesson learned and will have to pay for it, at least my family didn’t get hurt on the trip.Please make an informed decision when choosing who services your vehicle. Then again this could have been an isolated incident, the crew is actually a bunch of rock stars and Bill takes responsibility for mistakes whenever they happen.

This place is full of incompetent workers! A few months ago I went I for an oil change and they said for 20 bucks theyd change my filter the guy asked the other guy who was cashing me out what to do with this part and they just threw it away. Also when i left there my horn didnt sound right it sounded more quiet..idk what they touched but had to get fixed at the dealership as well. Took my rogue back to the dealership for an oil change the next time and they told me my air filter was missing its case. So there went another 30 bucks! Always took my rogue to the dealership and wanted to try something new! Worst mistake ever. Never going back!!
