Line is so long and return policy is only 30 days. Prices are high except for when there is a sale or promotion. The fitting rooms were closed at this store, and everything fits differently at Zara. Bought a dress that was too tight and will have to return it soon.

I usually go to this store in the morning to get the stuff that I need and is always pleasant when I go around that time. Unfortunately for me they never have the fitting room open for me to try on the clothes before I purchased them which leaves me with no choice but to get the item and try it on at home.This time I had to wait until 4pm to be able to go to the store and all I wanted to do was an exchange. The dress I bought did not fit me and not only that but it also had a stain that I didn’t even make! I bought it with the stain. The rep quickly called the manager because she saw the stain that was on the dress. Jason (manager) then proceeded to tell me that their reps are supposed to notate the receipt about any stains. When I bought it I wasn’t aware of that and I told him that if he out of courtesy do it this one time and he refused to do it he even made sure to tell me that their reps are train to do that but clearly they weren’t since it wasn’t notated on my receipt. I never had a bad experience at this store until today.

Bad service!! I was on the line for around 30-35minutes. When I finally got to the cashier I informed her that I have a return that I would like to do before my purchase. She said she can’t take returns there and that I have to go to another cashier line (which was longer than the one I was at) because they “only take returns at the principal cashier” I asked to speak with a manager, the lady came and told me that she can’t take my return. I told her if someone could take my at the principal cashiers because I’m 29 weeks pregnant and I was not able to do another 30 minutes line. Her answer was a straight NO! This is unbelievable. They have a total of 6-8 cashiers but only 2 were open on a busy Sunday afternoon 🙄 people from Zara, if you want better reviews change your management because clearly they don’t know what to do on busy hours or how to deal with pregnant customers requesting something

Found some great pieces here however I spent almost 40 minutes online before I decided to just leave. I didnt bother purchasing anything because of the long line. It was so aggravating and this store refused to open up the men side so we can pay to get the lines down. Even after 40 minutes in line I was still nowhere near the front of the line.

By far one of the worst Zara I been to, I had my receipts for return, a bold guy was at the cashier that day and he look all the receipts with attitude, after 30 minutes he said he couldnt find the items on the receipts, so confuse and ashamed I took the receipts and clothes outside the store and I was going trhu them again o found all the items, I went back 10 minutes later back to him and show everything he said that I would have to get in line again for another 50 min so he could look at the receipts again, this is outrageous, I request a manager he make believe that he called one when he never actually did, so o went around the store looking for one, then she did my return, when I asked for the guy name she said that is against the store policy to disclosure names, needless to say that I will never go back to same store again, they lost me as a costumer and everyone else who asks me about that place.Shame on you ZARA for not training your personal to better serve your costumers.Reason why so many businesses are closing more often .I wish I could leave - 0 star but Google wont allow me .

The most arrogant experience today . Tried on a dress and wanted to buy but there was a huge line. We decided to go eat and come back. I was told by a sales person to come back by 7:30 to purchase- yet they would not let us back in store even though store closed at 8. Manager would not provide her name lol- what an establishment. And security officer would not let us in. I’ll be calling 1-800 Zara tomorrow.

The sales associates offer no help and act uninterested in helping… the line to check out is ridiculously long with only two registers open! so many workers on the floor and they refuse to open up more registers… went over to the men’s section and two employees are standing around chit chatting.. horrible way to do business!

Need more cashiers. Waited 45 minutes on line. The store was way more disorganized than usual. Clothes all over the floor, hanging off the racks, clothes in random spots and not put together by sizes. Its a shame. I really like this location. Hopefully itll be a better experience next time

I had a horrible experience in this store. The manager named Mariela refused to accept a shirt that i bought last week with an excuse that there is a damage. Mind you the shirt was in excellent condition with tags on and all i did was take him and try it. The manager was unprofessional and rude. Would not recommend anyone to shop here. Long lines and terrible customer service is what they are good at. The store is also never arranged, you always find stuff on the floor. Buyers save your money or go shop at other zara stores where they understand the value of customer service.

Used to love shopping here, but now it’s the messiest place. The line to pay is an easy 30 minute wait. They have a men’s department, kids, and women department, but only one line for all three stores so the line is always out the door. Meanwhile all the other registers in the other departments are closed. This started pre pandemic and post pandemic. Horrible management.

This is the worst Zara I’ve ever visited. There’s a wait to get in the store (15-20 mins) and there’s also a 45min -1hr wait to pay. The fitting rooms are still closed and they have a very limited stock. I would recommend the Zara in Jersey city.

Zaras Edison location is getting 5-stars for one reason and her name is Gina S.Great customer service was hard to find pre-Covid . Post-COVID? Forget about it!Gina S. has me convinced theres hope. First, she looks like she should be modeling for Zara instead of working in the store. Secondly, I walked in with a bag of items I purchased yesterday which I needed to exchange for a different size (note: dressing rooms are closed). I had no idea the layout of a store could change so extremely overnight. Gina S. helped me find every piece. She whipped around this store with a positive attitude...she wanted to help me. Gina S. is relentless and energetic. She clearly loves working here and it comes out in her attitude. It would have taken me HOURS to find all of these pieces.I dont know how long shes been working here or what her goals are; but Gina S. needs to be in management...STAT!Due to an encounter I had with a manager named Sarah yesterday (after another clerk accidentally charged me twice for one transaction because she was busy talking about her zodiac sign and moon rising with another cashier during checkout), I doubt if Gina S. disposition is a reflection of training shes received. She has an authentically, contagious positive attitude. Sarah did not.I agree with other reviewers. The lines are ridiculous; but thats our post-COVID world. Luckily, todays line is moving faster than yesterdays.

The lines to return or purchase items here is absolutely absurd & the staff is incredibly unconcerned, unfriendly and downright rude. There is a 20 minute line just to ENTER the store and just about everyone inside is then waiting IN LINE to make a return.I attempted to make a return last weekend but the lines were out of control so I came back the following weekend. I was told that I was 4 days past the 30 day return window.Zara is one of the only stores who have not opened their fitting rooms so the only option is to purchase and try on at home & then return. But their return lines are absolutely out of control!They want to have their cake & eat it too -- use the pandemic card to explain away horrific customer service, long lines, and closed fitting rooms yet not allow their customers to then use the same card to explain why a return was 4 days late.

Every time you go in, your there for at least an hour.They cant grasp the concept of customer service,you stand in a long line to enter and a longer line waiting to pay with one cashier doing all of it and 20 associates walking around restocking. They need to reopen fitting rooms 3/4 of the customers are returning outfits because they couldnt try them on.All other stores have them open already

Not sure about all Zara stores, but the Menlo store is the absolute worst. The staff is unfriendly and the cashiers are rude. The pandemic is over, yet they require masks but as you stand in line for an hour to make a purchase or return, the employees walk around with a mask around their chin or under their nose. The fitting rooms have yet to re-open therefore long lines are full w returns and wait times are at least 45 mins - 1 hr and usually it’s just one person working the register (in men’s and children’s departments). They currently have staff on hand yet only one is assigned to register; the rest walk around restocking the floor. The one bald, male cashier, who I have seen the last three times, doesn’t even say hello or smile, is what seems to be intentionally slow and takes 25 minutes to rehang all of your returns, buttons every button and looks the item over 10x before he processes your return. Anyone that has worked in retail or management knows that when you have lines 20 people deep, you don’t have your cashier spend the majority of his time hanging, buttoning and reapplying sensors to the clothes. You have them ringing people up and you have someone else handling the clothes. This is not just one bad experience, this is almost every time I frequent this store. I will no longer be shopping there. Lift the mask mandate when your own employees don’t even wear them properly, open your fitting rooms bc you have at least 5-6 people working the floor on the daily and have multiple registers open when you see long lines!!

Shopping at Zara is an okay experience. The lines are always a 30 minute wait which is the downfall. As a result of being in line for a long time it is not a great experience. After a while I began to notice these two women photographed turn around consistently to stare and roll their eyes at me. They acted very disgusting and creepy. Be aware because you can encounter someone as creepy as them. The last photo is also before I ever recorded and I was just looking at the clothing. There you can see she was being stalker like.

This Zara location is horrible. It’s always over packed and the clothes is disorganized. Today the lines for the women’s register were almost out the door, they did not open up any other section to accommodate. Like other reviews, this Zara has poor customer service skills. We were about to walk into the store until a tall gentleman leaning against the railing said, EXCUSE ME. HELLOOOO and gestured to the long line that isnt visible around the corner. He was clearly annoyed that he had to stand out there. If there were signs from both direction, he wouldnt feel the need to yell at customers. He couldve said, Excuse me. The line is back there. Ive worked in customer service for 10 years. Thats not how you treat people even when youre unhappy with your job.

Awful customer service. Their COVID policies are extremely counter intuitive - essentially, they make you stand in line outside of the store and instead of letting people in as people come out they let people inside in huge groups which makes it even more congested than if people were to enter on their own normally.They also will randomly decide to close the store for entrance a half an hour early while there are people that are still on line. I got in line on 1/27/21 at 6:15pm and was told at 6:30 pm that they were closing the doors after I had been in line for 15 minutes even though the store closes at 7 pm. During this entire time I was on line there was a constant stream of people leaving the store and yet they refused to let anyone in. To make matters worse, the girl in charge of closing claimed that she had made an announcement and continued to be condescending and rude to the other buyers that told her they just wanted to return their items that were set to expire for return that day - mind you this is a whole 30 minutes before closing time. My main Zara store is the Freehold, NJ location and this has NEVER happened. It is a far safer store in terms of COVID-19 precautions and far more efficient. Employees at Freehold are also much more competent and curteous in terms of customer service - not to mention the store is much cleaner and more organized. Do not bother with this location.

I was walking towards Zara this afternoon, coming from the left side ( unable to see that there was a line around the corner) and was stopped by a Zara employee that is controlling the line outside with a loud “ Helllloooo there’s a line!!! ). This Zara is THE WORST. I’ve been waiting in line for over an hour to make a return and this isn’t the first time this has happened. The lines are always to the door and you move about a step per 15 mins. There are maybe 5 associates working today and 1 on the register. Doesn’t matter if you come here on a Tuesday at 3pm or a Saturday at 11am, you will always leave here regretting your decision to come in. 😂

Prices are too high for the quality. Also, if you loose your receipt you are stuck with the item. You can only switch it for different size, but bcuz things are ugly sometimes and their fitting rooms are CLOSED you can’t see how funny their cheap clothes looks on you. Had a disgusting experience with one of the cashiers here. Was here to return an item wherein the tag was intact along with the receipt. The cashier took away the receipt and misguided me saying this is not your receipt and we cannot exchange or return until you get the receipt. I thought may be I have missed to get the receipt and requested him to accept the return since the tag was intact. He did not agree and asked me to get the receipt. I left frustrated. Few minutes later came back again just to cross check that particular receipt which he told was not mine. When I went back, that particular cashier wasn’t there. Asked the other guy who had seen the entire incident for the receipt, he said no. I thank the lady cashier who gave me the receipt to cross check. And yes it was very much my receipt. Called the manager and the actual cashier and got it returned. Customers BEWARE of such kind of cashiers here. They just CHEAT.. First of all always there are just two cashiers and there are long waiting queues. To top it off, they have such DISHONEST cashiers. Never again would like to shop here.

I will never shop ever again. I made my first purchase on 5/4 for 3 items, I kept 2 and tried to return on 6/9 not knowing the return policy was 30 days. They will not consider taking it back at all, item was brand new, had it’s tag on it, my reason for returning was because it was too small and they did not carry my size. I was not made aware of their 30 day policy at time of purchase neither did I pay attention to the back of the receipt, my first and last time shopping there. They did not even bother getting a manager and I wasn’t in the mood to prolong the issue so I just left knowing I will never return. Most places have a longer period and bend the rules if item is in new condition. They didn’t even bother looking at it. Strictly firm on their 30 days, they had no clue how many days I was over because they never took the receipt from me, once I told them I was passed my return by a few days they immediately said no no way anyone here will return it. Customer service is pathetic. Long checkout lines and just 2 checkout registers were open, 1 in men’s and 1 in women’s. I spoke with a manager said he knows. I questioned further and he said only 2 of the current staff are trained for the register. Of the 10-15 staff, only 2 are trained??? Then, the manager himself should be at the register when lines are so long.

I was once in LOVE with ZARA until I visited this location and received the worse customer service known to man. From the cashier down to the managers needs a little more training on their customer service skills. If you ever purchase anything at ZARA please make sure it fits before you leave the store because youll encounter issues exchanging the iteams.
