I was in NJ and heard a strange noise and was afraid to drive back to Connecticut on a Thursday afternoon. I called Nielsen Nissan and a rude woman offered me an appointment Monday. Kelly Nissan (Larry) saw me that day and fixed my brake pads and rotors which were making a very strange noise letting everyone know that they needed to be replaced very soon. They were very friendly and helpful, and I felt safe driving back home.

Heather was absolutely phenomenal!! Extremely polite, informative and got me in and out fast. She took the time to come find me (my phone was off) and explained the issue with my car and walked through the services. She also requested a free car wash and asked the cashier to see how many points I had (which I didnt even know existed). This saved me $100!!! If you ever visit this Nissan, I strongly suggest you ask for Heather specifically. Shes the best! Overall excellent experience (and Ive been to many Nissan dealerships for service). Clean, quiet, nice amenities in the waiting area and very friendly staff.

Its clean, low mileage, runs great and was reasonably priced. I felt like Rich, the salesman, was open and honest with us about our trade and the interest rate from the beginning. Ive been to a Hyundai dealer in the past and still dont know the interest rate of the car I test drove. I felt like nothing was hidden or sneaky and I love that! One time I leased a car from Ford and it was all unicorns and rainbows until I got there where they asked for the first payment up front on top of my down payment. Bought my 1st car in 2005 when they were on William Penn Highway. Then bought / leased 2 other vehicles. No problems with Customer Service, although the vehicles did not have any problems. Bought a Certified Used vehicle for $18,000 in Feb of 2019. Feb 2020 went to get the vehicle inspected. Failed. $6,200 worth of work need. 2nd and 3rd mechanic opinion stated drive chain has been in bad shape for longer than a year and please note, i only drove the vehicle 11,000 miles the first year I had it. had it fixed, unsatisfactorily worked with dealer. Not happy at all. Vehicle was fixed. 3 months later, engine blows. $5,000 worth of work. Had it fixed, unsatisfactorily worked with dealer. Not happy at all. Lets do the math. Certified used car $18,000. 1 years of ownership, needs $11,000 worth of work. All scheduled maintenance was conducted. Management / owner hides behind closed doors and directs sales people what to say, or they are always in a meeting I wanted them to buy the car back from me, they were going to give me $8,000 less then what I paid. On all walls of the building they proudly display signs stating Risk Free Vehicles.... I think someone should validate their Certified Pre-owned inspection checklist. Kelly Nissan has failed me.

I Had a waiting service appointment at Kelly Nissan scheduled for 9:20AM on Tuesday morning. Unfortunately I was running late so I called Kellys Service department to reschedule for another day and to my surprise they were able to move my appointment to 2:20PM that same day. I was stunned and ecstatic at the same time. To be able to get a last minute waiting service appointment during the holiday season is almost impossible anywhere let a loan a car dealership. I was glad to accept and prepared to travel. Once there I was assisted by Larry at the service department. Shamaar even drove more than 50 miles to deliver the vehicle to me and made the buying process simple and safe even in this COVID era. The vehicle benefitted from some new brakes right away but the vehicle was also $1,000 under market value, so it seems you get what you pay for. Yes it s a little more expensive than a regular mechanic shop but they do a great job and you wont have to fix it again. I rather spend the extra money than to have the same thing go bad a few months later. Their staff is always so friendly and willing to work with your budget. The manager Mr K.
