Once & Again is one of my favorite stores in the Triangle. The owner, Libby, is an expert in judging furniture and accessories. She is smart and kind and compassionate. She sells only quality items that others have consigned to her shop. And she sells these items at prices that will surprise you for their good value. If you have quality furniture to sell, Libby will send a truck to get it at no cost to you (you should tip the drivers). If you purchase an item too large for your vehicle Libby will recommend a reasonable delivery company. The moment you walk into Once & Again youll wish your home were larger so you could buy some of the gorgeous pieces youll discover there. And even if you do not find what you want, youll be happy to have met the people who make Once & Again a local treasure.

Ive been a contented consignor at Once and Again for over a year. Its been a satisfying and pleasurable experience since day 1. Libby and her team are friendly, professional, honest and straightforward. I have a mish-mash of stuff my family has collected over the years. Ive tried selling on various online sites and apps, but once I tried Once and Again, I havent looked back. Many of the items I had listed on the web/apps got no interest online - but they are selling at Once and Again and Im getting more for them than what I had them listed online. This proves to me that the staging, pricing, marketing and customer knowledge Libby and her team bring to their business is worth more than the share they take on the items. Leaning on Libby to sift through my mish-mash of items is a valuable part of consigning here. She has the experience to better guess what will sell and what wont, and how to set the starting price, saving us all a lot of time. I also like how the price of items decreases in set increments over time - giving the best opportunity for an item to sell, if at all possible. At the end of the day, its fun and rewarding to consign at Once and Again. Im grateful to Libby and her team for connecting consignors with customers. Its wonderful to see items Ive dropped off staged so well in the store; and feels good to get some money for these items and know they will be enjoyed in a new home rather than sitting idle and boxed up in mine.

Best consignment shop ever! Such friendly service and great merchandise and merchandising. This is probably one of the best consignments for clothing and furniture/household items you can find.

Libby is rude and other names come to mind but Google wouldnt accept it. She mislead me thinking my furniture would sell for half of what I purchased it for only to send an email with a price that was a complete insult. I basically donated my expensive pieces. She will not communicate with you over the phone, she always directed me to email her. When I did email she never responded. This woman is horrible and needs a good lesson in customer service.

Very disappointed with the follow up. Sold an item at consignment, no follow up whatsoever, no payment, a lot of excuses. Would definitely not recommend this shop for consignment..

Disappointed in lack of integrity of some of the staff I.e. The lady in the back. I brought in velvet evening dresses, and home made sweaters purchased at a store. I also brought in a handmade sweater from ice land. It cost 100 dollars in 1985. She treated my stuff like it was trash and said the were too ragged. I brought in a beautiful black Belgium linen dress made in Belgium. She grabbed it from me and the store has no record of it. She had said she send my receipt.They do not return calls and are undependable for pickup. I have scheduled furniture pick up and they were a no show about three times nor would they call me back about what was going on. I went in and left messages and was told they are rearranging the store. I would avoid this shop.

Great store for used furniture and accessories. We bought our family room, leather sofa here. Very reasonable, and once its in your home, nobody knows its used. We have a cat, Martini, who tears up furniture. We refuse to buy new and have it scratched, so consignment shopping we go. Once & Again has some beautiful things, and they are very helpful too.

Nice furniture at somewhat reasonable prices. Even some nice clothes, though theyre a little pricey.

This place is amazing. Ive purchased so many items, from my favorite art pieces to high end danish leather furniture - all at prices significantly below retail. The staff is so engaging and listens carefully if you are looking for that perfect item to add your home. Moreover, not only does the staff show you items that meet or exceed your desires, but many times know of pieces that are being delivered in the near future for consignment. You have to check it out !!

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend. We went to the store 2-3 wks after our large furniture pieces were delivered. We could not locate in the store and neither could the staff at the desk. They indicated the owner was rearranging the store. We were assured this wouldn’t impact our pricing. When I picked up our check, it was lower than expected even though our items sold fairly quickly. The owner indicated the ‘inventory software’ drives pricing and our furniture was on the floor the day it was delivered. If so, we should have been able to find it. Also, when I picked up the check, the woman behind the counter was rude and not friendly at all. So rude that I felt extremely uncomfortable. I’m sure there is a logical explanation.. maybe..but due to this experience, we feel there was questionable behavior and will not go here again. There is also no excuse for rude behavior of the sales associate.

2 years ago, I wrote a review from a customers perspective, today, Id like to share from a consigners perspective. Ive been consigning pieces at Once & Again from my home and special items I have found while treasure hunting for over 3 years. Its a total fun-filled experience and Libby, Christie and Cameron make it that way. Always happy to see me, they take excellent care of my items, keeping items cleaned & well staged - week to week, I think this place turns 1/2 its inventory - it looks completely new every time I go in. On many occasions, if a customer was on the fence, the owner has taken the extra step to close the sale on one of my items, taking the discounted amount on her side - who would do that? You have to check this place out !

Welcoming staff, beautiful pieces that are staged to give those of us without an imagination perspective, reasonable prices (we bought a beautiful antique desk that was perfect and based upon the size and quality was a good price). Lily the owner is so helpful and accommodating and her staff were willing to walk us to each piece that they thought we might like. Great experience. Dont let the outside of the store fool you.. its huge inside.

We are standing here trying to find out where our items are and Libby just called 911 on us - items donated without our permission and no accounting of where our artwork went. DO NOT GO HERE !!!!! There are other consignment shops in the area. Seriously- she called 911 and in the back another customer was here at the same time looking for her unaccounted for items. If I could figure out how to give negative stars I would - she screamed at us and told us to take her to court. We are nice people simply trying to find out what happened to our things. She threatened to “make us leave in an unkind manner.” Hmmm. Maybe she’s in the wrong business ?

I recently decided that its time to buy a new (to me) desk chair for my desk, Once and Again was the first place I thought of, I went in and was greeted most friendly at the door, this place and its people are off the hook great, Libby took me around showing what she had and gave details to each one, I ended up buying the first one she showede, but only after seeing what they had, the quality of the chair was great, and the price couldnt have been beat any place else, thank you Libby, your the best!!.....

Unfortunately, there is not a lot of competition in the immediate area for high end consignment furniture. For that sole reason, I still shop here occasionally. As others have said, the owner can be flat out rude. I have witnessed her being unnecessarily argumentative with customers and potential consignors and demeaning to her staff and vendors. Several times I have inquired on merchandise that is not yet priced, and it has taken the staff weeks to get back to me with pricing. Given the fact that the the longer merchandise sits, the lower the price goes, there is no excuse for not pricing immediately. Further it is almost unethical to her consignor who has entrusted her with their valuables. All in all, but for the lack of competition, this place should have been gone out of business years ago.

Always fun to look through everything they have. They only take in nice furniture and odds and ends. Definitely worth browsing through.

I have shopped at Once & Again for a few years now. The staff is amazing.They know their stuff and are never intrusive or pushy. The high quality and eclectic collection is amazing. Everything is staged beautifully. I get new ideas every time I visit this shop. It is very elegant and inviting. You will feel as if you have stepped into a fashionable store in New York...except for the price tags! The pricing is so reasonable. I guarantee you will look twice to see if I read the price correctly. They also reduce (at dated intervals) so you can gamble on something becoming less expensive. However, I wouldnt risk if you really love something because things sail out of this store in a flash. I love Once & Again and I love the staff. If you are looking for things to upgrade your home visit this store. Dont go to cheap, low quality places when you can get high end, quality pieces at such amazing prices. You wont be disappointed but you will become addicted. The inventory changes frequently.Teresa McInerney

Always find lots to like and purchase. My go to place for furniture.

I had an appointment with them to appraise my brand new recliners. A truck showed up instead, to take the furniture without an estimate. I was supposed to sign a contract w/o appraisal. I refused and called the stores owner, who at this point said she didnt have space and Id better contact another consignment store.

Cool place to go and buy things. the owner / manager is a bit robotic, and has take it or leave it sort of attitude.
