We were very excited as we walked up to the door. Yet, on the door was a flyer posted that those moving furniture of trying to communicate with others should not wear a mask. As two immune compromised individuals, we made the decision to not enter the store. The owners are complying with Durham County expectations, but I have never seen a sign like this in any store before. It seems to be going above and beyond to politicize this issue. I am just posting this to give immune compromised, or high risk for covid complication, folks a heads up. I will not be risking my saftey or the saftey of my community to look at antiques. May god hold and protect the owners and employees of this store.

5 Stars for a business that supports liberty, freedom, and faith - not to mention high quality furniture, fair prices, and excellent customer service. Your comments against Classic Treasures are unacceptable and irresponsible. This establishment has not broken any laws nor are they promoting offensive behavior or discriminatory actions. Your post on this topic, under the name of this business, is simply your way of advertising your agenda, maliciously, and, quite simply, is very unkind to this business and this family. Further, unkind comments such as this are what keeps people in a constant state of fear. If you live in fear, stay home. But dont persecute business like this for expressing the right to chose faith and freedom.

Fabulous selection with reasonable prices, but what I liked best was the amazing customer service! This store is locally owned and the owners prove to truly care about their customers! So helpful!

Had a great experience here! I drove in from 45 minutes away and was not disappointed in the selection or the wonderful customer service. I also like the fact that they are open later then most places.

Such a fun store--you never know what youre going to find (although we usually always find something)! Owners are super friendly and helpful. Its one of our favorite places in Durham.

This is an incredible store and the owner truly cares about people. I work in furniture restoration and I like to send every client who asks me about buying lightly used high-quality furniture right to Blake, because I know he will treat them like friends.

Disappointed with this - love a good consignment store but we know better and wearing a mask indoors is NOT negotiable (as per current Durham guidelines) as hospitals fill up again and kids have zero protection.

I own a store in the triangle area similar to Classic Treasures and I only say that because I want people to know that I have zero motivation to write a review except to tell you what an exceptional company and ownership team CT is. When I am not able to assist a customer I send them to Blake and Classic Treasures. They take care of their consignors & customers and most importantly they offer a SAFE shopping experience for all of their customers with plenty of room for social distancing and browsing where you are not on top of other shoppers.

Theres a sign on the front door making their anti-mask policy clear. Employees are unmasked and will approach you face to face immediately. I walked out and wont be returning.

Exemplary inventory and service rendered. Blake is an absolute gem, and I extend accolades to him for his stellar customer service. A+++++

We have gotten some great furniture from here. I think weve been buying here for the last 10 years or so.

The furniture was a bit pricey for me but the main reason for my negative review is that the owner has his face covering down around his neck for more than half the time I was shopping. It’s not optional, you have to keep it on the whole time or it defeats the purpose.

Ive been on the hunt for some pieces to finish furnishing my new home. Ive decided to swing by Classic Treasures a couple of times over the past few months to check out what they had in store. Both times, no employees were wearing masks, face shields, etc. Its not worth risking my life and the life of the ones who I love for a deal on used furniture. Ill take my business to a store that cares about its customers and employees.

This place is so great! There’s a kids area, lots of tape measures accessible, coffee station, and a furniture stain station! The customer service is amazing and they have really great stuff which all is staged beautifully and very organized. Thank you Classic Treasures!

Great selection, good prices, friendly staff

A very nice clean wide variety of high quality furnishings. Their prices are reasonable for the quality of goods that they offer. Theyre very kind to offer coffee and snacks to Shoppers. You will find moderate priced small items as well as reasonably priced sofas, club chairs, coffee tables, cabinets, and decorative items.

Ive furnished most of my home with pieces from Classic Treasures. I think they offer well-made pieces and have excellent customer service.

Blake, who I think is the owner, just came to pick up my items and I couldnt be happier! He and his teammate Sam were super friendly, professional, quick, and helpful. Took less than 10 mins to sign the contract and for them to remove my 3 heavy items that otherwise I would have had to move to the curb myself. Not to mention getting a check in the mail if the items sell! Highly recommend!!

Great hidden treasure. Was in 2 other places locally, no luck. They say 3rd time is the charm, well classic treasures was the charm.. and super nice, helpful people. Great selection of items for furnishing house, apt, townhouse, and condo to choose from... next time Ill go here first..

Higher end resale shop, unique furniture and so on. Got an unbelievable deal on a mechanical anniversary clock there, runs perfectly, brand new condition. It is a great place.

My SO and I just recently moved to the area and we came by here just to give it a look. We ended up finding a couch we LOVED and the manager gave us a really good price on it to boot. On top of that he squeezed us into that evenings delivery schedule (on the house). I cant say that you should expect to get a free delivery but these guys are well worth your business. When we need more furniture this is the first place we will go. Top notch business.

Such a great experience. Blake the owner is not only friendly but he really goes out of his way to help you find what you are looking for. As a transplant to the area it was such a joy to find a store that is both affordable and has stuff thats such high quality.

Great place to shop for high quality used furniture, and good prices on super cool new mid-century furniture. I bought a very nice used leather sofa and chair set, was very happy with the quality, price and delivery. I stop by every few weeks to see whats new in the shop. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. A pleasure to shop here!

Pauli and her team helped me find a beautiful dining room table with custom-made benches, made from reclaimed NC barn wood, plus a beautiful Restoration Hardware-like cart, all in my price range. Thought it was a bit pricey for the quality. No one ever spoke to us when we entered or while we were there. We were not impressed!

Best. Consignment. Store. Ever. Stopped in for a quick look around and found a piece of furniture I have been searching for, and not at the normal store extortion prices. Blake, the owner was so helpful, and friendly. I will be making this my GO TO furniture store, and I shop alot!!!

At first was impressed with professionalism of salesperson on telephone, by the name of Kristy (sp?), who told me in writing and on the phone that she would give me so much for an antique table set with chairs and buffet. She said nothing about the percentage for consignment (50%) either in writing or on the telephone or that after so many days on the floor, the percentage would decrease to 25%. This was only explained to me when the movers came to pick up the furniture. I did not agree to the terms and the next day called Kristy and told her that she had not been clear about the consignment percentage (50%) and the further decrease (25%) after so many days on the floor. I told her that I run my own business and if I was not clear with my clients, the way she was with me, that I would get no more business

I purchased a beautiful hutch unit, with lights, for maybe 150 dollars, and they helped me load it up, too! Great deals, beautiful items for sale, and the proprietors are the best. Eager to help and very knowledgeable about their items.

One of my favorite furniture stores. I have had great experiences both purchasing and consigning. I look forward to stopping in on Saturdays for a cup of coffee and checking store out to see whats new. My kids love eating the complementary cookies and hanging out in the play area while I look around.

We saw a bunch of negative reviews so were expecting a bad experience, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The prices seemed very reasonably to us - we found something we liked, and they were able to deliver it (a full table and 6 chairs) to our house only a few hours later for $35. We were impressed. One small snag - they said they would deliver at 4:00 and that they would notify us if they were running late. We called at 4:45 and they had a bit of a take a chill pill attitude towards me which seemed silly since they were running late and had not contacted us. Besides that little issue, everything else went really well.

Some of the furniture was slightly more worn, but it has some of the best deals Ive seen for consignment furniture and the person working there was very kind and even helped me carry my purchase to my car.

I purchased a lovely curio cabinet in excellent condition at half price. I cannot say if the price was fair or not (to the consignor); I only know that it was worth, to me, what I paid for it. The owner was friendly and professional, and was willing to hold it for me a bit longer than usual while I made up my mind and returned. The delivery was prompt and professional. They arrived at one oclock on the dot, and were very careful of my own furniture and the cabinet as they brought it in. One of the men took time to make certain that the cabinet was level on my somewhat sloping floor, pointed out a feature I had not even noticed and gave me some tips on buying and replacing the bulbs. The delivery charge was, I think, a bit pricey but worth it, as I would not have trusted anyone to bring it on the back of a pickup! I have had it a little over a week, and I am still pleased by the cabinet and the whole experience from purchase to delivery.

I have sold items on consignment, bought items, and my parents estate had items appraised and sold here at Classic Treasures. This is a very clean consignment shop with great deals and friendly service. I trust and highly recommend this business and owners Blake and Adele.

Classic treasures is an awesome place to find timeless furniture that is in pristine condition that will compliment any decor! If you are looking for the perfect piece that will compliment your style at a reasonable price point, this is the place to peruse first!

I have visited Classic Treasures twice - once in March and again this week. It is my absolute favorite consignment shop - great variety - booths with well-chosen items - many unique - and just the right involvement by Blake, the owner. He is readily available, - has a friendly demeanor but is at the same time professional and knowledgeable, straight-forward, no games - not pushy, snooty or overly familiar - treats lovely ladies and old geezers such as myself just the same - with respect. For items too large to carry from the store, he will deliver quite reasonably and reliably; the delivery men were helpful - went above and beyond in service. They arrived at the time promised - realized a small item was missing from a heavily loaded truck - checked with me about that and returned with it later in the day.What really pushed me to finally write this review (Im a terrible procrastinator) is that AFTER I purchased some items (old desk, end tables, bookcase, etc.), they were clearly cleaned and touched up before delivery. Blake had already made the sale, and I was gone. How classy is that? I can see why his employees seem to feel good about working there.

Nice people, very nice store, furniture and accessories neatly arranged in vignettes. Well worth the visit.

We submitted a lot of items for consignment from furniture to artwork to knick-knacks. We are very pleased with how quickly we received payments after the items were sold. Our total experience with Classic Treasures is nothing less than completely positive.

Overpriced...ladder book shelves with a piece of plywood used to balance one corner priced at $115 leather glider with obvious signs of wear and scratches marked at over a $1000 ect. No help from the store clerk but was instead discussing lasix surgery

Plenty of items to choose from. There are several stores like this around the Triangle, this is my favorite due to the prices and how kind the employees are.

The owner is very friendly and suggested coming out to our car to go through our consignment items. We wished he’d taken more, but not having to carry items in and out was much appreciated!
