I had heard many describe this place as like the consignment sales except all the time. I dont agree. There werent any deals to be found when I was there. The merchandise was slightly less than new or even the same as new in price especially if you shop sale racks at stores. Though they did have a good selection. But too pricey for me.

Love that you have 7 days to return your purchase and the costumer service always on point.😉

We visited this store after reading great reviews. There is a huge selection however I was surprised how dirty some of the items were. Strollers were over priced for the age and condition they were in (in my opinion) and some of the high chairs still had what seems to be food and spill stains on straps and padding. Most consignment stores I have been to require clean items. Other than that, staff was super friendly and store was otherwise clean.

Love this place! Mother/daughter owned and they are kind and very good at what they do. It’s like going to a huge consignment sale with only the nice things and no crowds or lines. Very relaxing shopping environment. It is also a wonderful and easy place to consign.

The store was very well organized, clean, very large with lots of variety. Babies, toddlers and kids clothes, toys, gear and furniture. I do wish some of the size section labels were larger. Checkout was quick and friendly. We will be back!

This place has large selection of kids clothes, toys, and baby stuff. The store was clean and easy to shop. What was missing the customer service. Yeah going into a retail store is self explanatory, but you should till be greeted, offered a helping hand, and shouldnt feel awkward.

I love Beanstalk! It is always my go to for kids clothes. They have a great selection and reasonable prices. They have plenty of space and its not so crowded that its hard to go through things. I definitely recommend a visit!

This is absolutely the best quality, most reasonably priced consignment store. I shop a lot of the smaller one-off consignment pop-ups throughout the year and consistently return to Beanstalk impressed. The quality of their items is really great & you can trust what you are getting has been thoroughly vetted. So exciting that they get new stuff every single day. The only complaint I have is that they are not closer to Raleigh!! It takes me far too long to drive here, otherwise I would go so much more often!

We checked out the Beanstalk right after it opened, and again two weeks later - their stock is growing really fast and we managed to spend $100 in there already! When we were there last, they were still organizing all the stock that was flowing in, but we really liked the variety of offerings (larger sizes in both clothes and shoes, lots of toys and larger gear like bikes) and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They even offered to put us on a wish list for the item we wanted but couldnt find. I particularly liked that the shoes were well-organized by size and you could actually find what you were looking for easily. No changing rooms yet but they are going to build some, so well look forward to that. Were heading back tomorrow for back-to-school clothes and a party dress!

I am so thrilled to finally have a consignment store in my area. I took a HUGE carload of items and they took everything but 2 pieces of clothing. I also filled an entire shopping cart and spent less than $100. They were super nice and the store is expansive. My favorite part is that they take everything year round so you dont have to hold on to summer items for 6 months and then remember to bring them in during a tiny window of time. They will hold the items for you and put them out at the appropriate time. This is AMAZING.

I really want to love this place! It is well organized and has a decent selection. Quality could be a bit better but that may improve over time if they become more selective. I have usually been able to find many things here that I won’t worry about getting ruined by preschool and also nice things for special occasions so, not really any complaints there. However, I consigned a ton of stuff with them when they opened and loved the convenience of dropping off at my leisure. I spent all the earnings and more at Beanstalk. Now there is a 6 MONTH wait list even to drop and run!! I understand the reason for requiring appointment times and would rather know up front versus waiting 6 months for items to be processed but, sheesh. When you decide you have a batch ready to go, waiting 6 months is not appealing at all...I really wish this would improve :/ Making consigning harder makes me significantly less likely to shop here and I really want to support the second-hand market through this locally based business.

Beanstalk has done an amazing job posting their inventory online so we can keep getting great deals even while on quarantine. Even stuck at home, babies keep growing and Beanstalk still has the perfect finds. Thanks ladies!!

Prices are great. Store is huge, clean and organized. So much inventory to choose from and new stuff added all the time. I always feel great buying secondhand because reuse helps our ailing planet. The owners are as sweet as pie!

Ive been in there twice; the first time was a few months after it opened, and it was well priced but the selection wasnt super great. I went again 6 months later and it has really filled in with more items (especially clothing) and was very well organized, including the toy section. We found what we came to find, plus a few fun little extras. The prices are cheaper than other local used childrens clothing shops, but the quality is the same or better. Also an easy place to bring your kids with; they can freely explore the toy or book sections and its easy to see them if they run down an aisle. A single door in/out of the store also makes it hard to lose kiddos. We will be coming back to the Beanstalk on a regular basis from here on out!

I LoVe shopping here! The prices are so competitive Im not sure how they stay in business. The selection of baby, kid, and maternity clothing is impressive and the items are like new. The merchandise turnover is very high so there is always something new and older items are always on sale and vary between 10-75% off depending on how old the items are. They also are generous with the amount they give consigners. Oh and the atmosphere is very pleasant too! There is so much space, it is easy to shop without feeling cramped and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. If youve never been and are in the market for gently used kids clothes, shoes, toys, pack n plays, or strollers this is the place for you.

My sister took me here and it happened to be the 1st anniversary of the store (July 1st), so they had special event with bounce house, free popcorn & cotton candy, a DJ, raffle, sale prices, and more!Huge space, big selection, everything from cribs, strollers, bottle accessories to puzzles and riding toys, costumes, and of course clothes, shoes, hats! We got a cartload of really cute items for my niece and will definitely be back soon!

This store is amazing, I find everything I need for my kids, practically brand-new, and at great prices. Consigning with them is so easy, I almost never have to pay for kids clothes now, because Ive built up so much store credit! The staff are friendly and always remember my kids names.

Now this is a consignment sale I can get behind! No tagging. No hanging. I can drop off when I can and shop when I can. No more INSANE crowds and confusing check outs. No more limited times and dates! This is exactly what this working momma needs to keep costs down and avoid time away from my daughter! Thank you for realizing time is money and taking all the hassle of consignment off my shoulders! Love all the $$$ I’ve made so far too. Plus, I can bring any season, any time! Impressively organized, not only by size but also by article of clothing within that size (i.e. pjs, swim). Always clean and welcoming including a kid-friendly book corner. The staff is kind and knowledgeable when it comes to pricing, brands, or any items you’re looking for.

They have cute clothes, and they are well organized. But I probably wont be back. They are frustrating to consign with. It took months to make an appointment with them. It took an hour for them to go through my 6 bins of stuff. After all that they reject almost everything. What they didnt accept was mixed up and returned in a mess.

Went here opening day, love the concept, the set up, and the group of people running the store! Found lots of great items. I am so thrilled that there is a bigger, reasonably-priced option available now. I plan to go again tomorrow, and drop off another bin of clothing too!

I am so impressed with this place! The owners are friendly, helpful, and have been very attentive on our visits to the store. From a consigner perspective, beanstalk is a dream come true. If you have less than four bins, they process you on a walk in basis while you shop. I love being able to take items as soon as we are ready to share them, rather than saving them until a seasonal sale. They even took my next season items to store in their back room until the weather is right. Beanstalk does all inventory, pricing, tagging, etc which saves me entire weekends of time (and sometimes tears ;)). I think 50/50 is a very generous share given that they do all of the work! As with any consignment shop, their inventory will be as good as what their consigners share week to week- but they know what is good and didn’t hesitate to give back anything they didn’t think would appeal. As a shopper, I very much appreciate that. My husband was just there this morning looking for something specific and said he was surprised by how many brand new, still in the package toys he saw from great brands. Their pricing is just right - great deals for shoppers - and fair for sellers. I love knowing that when we shop here we are supporting a great small business and other Durham families.
