I am keeping and using cars more than ordinary people do and I have been using Jorge as my primary car repair and service for about 10 years. At beginning, I went there based on the recommendations of reasonable charge for good repair. Very quickly, I realized that this is a very good family owned garage can do everything I asked, and Jorge is the one I can trust. So I just keep coming back and give he all kind works in my mind, as long as he is available. He had done all kind of works for me like as big as $10K worth accident car refinish, and as small as I bring oil and filter to change engine oil or nailed tire repair. My family always asked me when one of my cars need something done going to Jorge?. Highly recommended, as long as your car is out of manufactory warranty, all kind of jobs, leave it to Jorge, as long as he had room for you.

All I can say is the owner is an absolutely amazing person. I was over an hour away from home visiting a friend when my motor mount broke. My engine was barely being held up. And I went to the shop because it was the nearest place I could find. Like I said I was a young girl, all alone, over an hour from home, had to be a work in less than 48 hours. I was in complete panic. He went out of his way to get the parts, and made it his top priority to get it fixed by the next day. That was a year ago and my car is still driving great. Not only did he do a great job in fixing my car and replacing the motor mount, but he also put in extra hours so I could go home the next day.

Great service and a great price. My car needed a fix that two other shops (including a dealer) couldn’t/wouldn’t do without risking a much bigger and more expensive problem. I had a wonderful experience at Jorges Garage. They performed a head gasket repair on my car and it has been running great every since. They discovered that another mechanic put some type of head gasket repair into my engine which caused the thermostat, heater core, and internal engines parts to be covered with gunk. They took the extra time to thoroughly clean the impacted parts and provided a fair quote for repairs. They even performed some of the extra cleaning at no charge to me. They stayed in touch with me and provided pictures to show what they were doing. A very honest place and I will continue to do business with them in the future.

I have been going to Jorge for my car needs since I was introduced to him by my best friend back in 2010 or so (too long to remember). Not only do I trust his professional diagnosis, I respect his extensive knowledge. He truly is the best at what he does. I asked on Tuesday if I could get service on my car (oil change, air filter replaced, and serpentine belt replaced) - within 10 minutes, I had an appointment for Wednesday (It is important that mention that I live 40 minutes away and I dont mind the drive because I know I am going to get the best service - this is extremely important to me).It is true that the shop looks cluttered and it is true that the seating area and bathroom needs improvement, but his service is best to none. If youre looking for comfort as you wait, youre not going to have it. Awesome mechanic!! I was in a bit of an emergency situation, and he replaced my starter while i waited, no appointment. He was awesome! And quoted me much less than some of the ‘popular’ repair places. Waiting area isn’t super comfortable so if you can drop off the car for him to work on, it’s be much better than waiting there. I came here for a pre-purchase inspection on a Sunday afternoon and he seemed to perform a thorough, honest, professional inspection. He told me all of the engine codes, looked at the engine and body of the car, brake life, tire life, belt life, etc. He saved me over $1000 in potential repairs for a car that was overpriced to begin with, which definitely swayed my decision to purchase the car. He even offered to speak to the dealership if they had further questions. Im very happy with both the service and the price I paid and it was a real life saver to have someone I could take this car to on a Sunday without any kind of appointment! In addition, he was very communicative about his availability and I knew that he respected my time.As others have said, theres not much of a waiting area, but this didnt negatively affect my experience because I wanted to see what he was looking at and it didnt take that long. If I were to come here for a longer procedure, I would probably call an uber to hang out at a local coffee shop or something similar while I waited.

I have taken all 3 of our vehicles to Jorges over the last several years. Hes been very good to us. Once when one of our minivans conked out when my wife and kids were away from home, he sent someone out to help us. I always feel like hes given good prices. It really helps to be able to get the vehicle serviced on a Saturday because I cant usually get away from work during the day. On weekdays, though, hes always there and available for me to pick the truck up around 6pm or so. There was one occasion when he wasnt able to fix a problem we had with our truck and he didnt charge me for it. I really appreciate the honest work and fair prices.

Ive taken my Nissan Altima, Subaru Forester, Moms Dodge minivan, and Honda CRV to Jorges Garage. Ive been taking my cars to Jorge for so long that I cant remember how long.I like Jorge because he does good work and tells me what I need to think about or have on my radar in terms of future preventative maintenance to keep my cars running tip top. This is great because if I have Jorge fix things before they become a major problem, I save money and dont get stuck on the side of the road.I recommend Jorge and all my friends in Durham also take their cars and trucks to have him repair as well.

Couldnt accelerate to avoid traffic, talked to Jorge, Jorge immediately knew what is wrong and did my transmission fluid flush and tune up, now I can smoothly hurry through a yellow light.

I bought my current 2011 Odyssey and the owner told me about where he had the brakes repaired, and told me to try Jorges out. I did over 2.5 years ago and now I dont go anywhere else. The shop looks a bit run down and there is not a beautiful sitting room, but thats what they make friends and Uber for. What Jorge does give you is solid diagnosis, OEM parts, and great prices. One time my wife was going out of town on a Monday and he worked on her car on Saturday. I take three vehicles to him and not a single repair was been unsatisfactory. I can text him to set up an appointment or get a cost estimate. He takes cash and checks if he knows you, only downside, but for the level of service and honestly, well worth it! My ONLY affiliation with Jorge is as a DELIGHTED customer over the years.

Ive been taking my cars to Jorge for 10 years now. Hes an honest, good mechanic with reasonable prices. I was introduced to him by a friend, and I recommend him to all my friends.We dont take our cars to the dealership, we take them to Jorge. His shop is small but his work is top notch. The waiting room is small and homely, but there is free Wi-Fi.

Had my car there 3 times for the same problem and the this last time my cars been there for 4 months waiting for them to order a part that is under warranty. They’ve had my car for two months and won’t tell me exactly what’s wrong with it. I took it in to get a starter put in, they said it is a wiring issue. My car was running just fine the day before I took my car to the shop because it wouldn’t start.. everytime I ask them what’s going on with my car they wait two or three days to answer they keep saying “I’ll give you an update later today” ok well i wait for the text later that day and nothing.. the last time I heard from them about my car was Monday. It’s now Friday.. all I want is my car back.

This is like a ma and pa shop kind of thing, Spanish version. Im use to getting my car fixed at places like this so it doesnt bother me at all. I dropped my car off at 9 am for brakes and resurface rotors. My car is very old ( 19 years old) so my rotors were pretty rusted. It turned into getting done at 12, to 1 to around 5 pm. My rear caliper ended up needing to be replaced. We brought our own parts for the brakes, he resurfaced the rotors and replaced a caliper and it came out to around $380. Besides the time length and the caliper (which im not surprised about and had a feeling that was going to happen) Im happy with his work. I will use him again.

Attention!!!!This man says that he checks the cars before delivering them and it is a lie, he gave me the car more broken down than it was and also he charged me a lot for his supposed work in addition to having it for two weeks and in that period he gave it to me 3 times As ready, I think that if he does not know how to do that job, it is better that he does not say that he does it since he puts the lives of the people we trust at risk by giving him the car to compose and leaving it supposedly composed. Besides that the guarantee does not even validate it, very bad Mechanic very bad experience

Hispanic alert!This workshop is useless, take my car and I grated it with the buckle of the felt, they say they are careful and lie to you.According to me they composed it and it didnt take more than a week and it broke down again and they told me that I had a 6 month guarantee and its a lie
