ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS... BOTH MEN WORKING TONIGHT (09/15/21) WAS VERY SHORT AND RUDE... MY HUSBAND WANTED TO ADD A ITEM TO OUR PURCHASE THE GUY SAID IT WAS TO LATE TO DO SO.... SO MY HUSBAND WAS FINE WITH THAT HE TOLD THE GUY HED GO ON PAY FOR THE STUFF... ASKED HIM TO RING UP THE ITEM WE WANTED TO ADD TO OUR FIRST PURCHASE HE ACTED LIKE IT WAS A BOTHER SO I TOLD MY HUSBAND JUST FORGET IT WE DIDNT NEED TO SPEND ANYMORE MONEY HERE LEFT OT ON THE COUNTER AND WALKED OUT.... KINDA GOT BOTH OF US IN A BAD MOOD.... THANKS GUYS FOR GETTING US IN A BAD MOOD FROM YOU BEING SO RUDE...
I have to be up front, Im not the biggest car guy. So, when I go into AutoZone for a fix and Yolanda Gomez goes out of her way to explain to me how to fix my issue, get the correct parts, and do it joyfully, that makes me happy. Its great to have people like Yolanda you can depend on to tell you the truth about whats going on and work with you to correct the issues. Thank you friend. I truly appreciate you.

My father had a terrible experience here. None of the workers there on Friday wanted to attend him. All he wanted was to buy oil, he was straight up ignored by all three workers. My dad is Hispanic and doesnt speak much English but he knows how to pay for products. He watched as everyone else in the store who came in line afterwards was helped before giving up and leaving.
Excellent customer service!! Gregory ( I think the employee name) helped me replaced my battery and had my car up in running in no time ( under 10 minutes).With just 20 minutes left until the store closed.
Went in to get wiper blades for my car and when I was in line to checkout, I noticed that not only were the employees wearing their masks incorrectly, others in line were not even wearing masks as well. No one was enforcing the mask mandate seriously, which is not safe right now. I won’t be giving them my business in the future if that is how things normally are.
I went here to get my battery changed and was told they don’t change batteries on my particular car because it’s too long and too complicated. I was pretty shocked. I called the regional center to check to see if this was true and it was! Apparently it’s company policy to not change batteries on certain “complicated” cars, but the regional manager thought my battery was in my trunk so who knows how that is even really determined. I went to Walmart and they were able to change my battery in 20 minutes. I spend money at autozone and they aren’t even willing to change my battery. Don’t go to autozone unless you have an “easy” car.

I came with a poor battery and it was replaced in the rain. I appreciate it because who wants to work outside in the rain. My battery was a bit challenging to get out but the Male employee resilient and was able to get it. Great service!
The commercial manager Amanda provided me excellent customer. She was helping one of her commercial accounts but seeing I was in distress she stopped and installed a battery for me. She went the extra mile and more to help me. I usually shop advance auto but now Ill be going to Autozone for everything. I really appreciate Amanda for taking the time to help me.
Visited this store to get a battery after we had to get Geico to give us a jump start. We live almost 2 hours away and had to make another appointment so we where in a bit of a hurry. Billy the store manager approached us quickly hense the 3 stars and was quick to look up our battery. We became frustrated after he said he was on the way out and came out within just a few minutes. He sat the battery down and went to get a drill out of his personal vehicle then went inside to get other tools. After about 5 minutes I stepped back inside to see that he is looking up parts for someone else. He did say sorry he got caught up with someone else. I find that to be unprofessional because we had paid and he had already brought our battery out for install but stopped to help someone else.

The AutoZone on Fayettville Rd has a manager named Billy. That dude is the most helpful auto parts guy Ive ever met/dealt with. Super helpful and knows what hes talking about. Best part is he wasnt inconvenienced by helping me. Ill go back to him in the future.

AMANDA, THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER at AutoZone Durham by Home Depot is wonderful. Every time I visit the store, it is so clean, associates are so friendly, and I always find what I need. Amanda goes out of her way to help, because that is the kind of professional she is. Today my car battery died so Triple AAA got it started, and it was a Triple AAA battery. I promptly went to AutoZone and bought the battery Amanda recommended-and DUMPED THE TRIPLE AAA BATTERY. Their batteries that have a 6-year warrantly die after one year, three years in a row like clockwork.Of course I know enough to rule out other problems. As a car fan, I educate myself on my vehicle and it helps having good mechanics. So when I went to Amanda and was beyond exasperated, she calmed me right away and personally took care of the situation. She took the old battery out and installed the new one. I cant say enough good things about this place. I got my cool car seat covers here, outstanding fuel booster, other tools, and windshield wipers and I have never had a problem. This is the best AutoZone in Durham. Then I drove all over town to get my errands done before the winter weather tomorrow. My car and the battery run fine now. I owe it all to you AutoZone! These guys are awesome! My car battery died in the Lowe’s parking lot and they were amazing. The manager drove me (8 months pregnant) back to my car, tried to jump it with a battery pack, then used his car when that didn’t work. Got me going enough to drive over to the store and then installed a new battery for me. All in less than 15 minutes. They were a lifesaver and will be going back whenever I need anything car related!

An employee was sledding down the hill on a piece of cardboard while on the phone, then came in still on the clock. Employee at register was halfway there, bought a battery and did not receive the install service normally offered.... Could definitely improve energy levels!

I didnt want to be prejudiced i seen a girl behind the counter (as the manager) but gave her the benefit of my doubt...so i had my batt charged to see if i needed another one and of course (they said it wouldnt charge) so i bought another one and put my old batt on my charger just to see and it charged right up!! Now i dont know if they were trying to make money off of me or the 👧 didnt know how to hook up the charger because they was stuggling with it but eaither way they suck at services and none of the workers know where anything is at- BUY

Bad Experience Today 7/11/18. Employees (Lonnie, I believe) acted like he didnt want to answer my question and definitely did not offer any assistance. As I asked a question he mumbled a half answer, as I tried to follow up with a question, he didnt answer at all and kept typing on the keyboard. I felt like he didnt want my business or didnt care. I usually have a great customer service here, but Lonnie has/had some of the worst customer service today. I hope the store reads this. Only made purchase BC I live 2 mins away, or I would have left. Someone should share with Lonnie how to interact and assist customers with genuine questions to products. A simple I dont know, or I am not sure would have been OK.
I went in to get some windshield wipers (Duralast) around 10:30am. Store had one other person. I watched 3 staff people standing around and one stocking a shelf. Got two windshield wipers and spend $40. Guy who checked me out had a bluetooth in his ear. Paid cash and left. I went back home to install them so I didnt stand in the rain. Went to put on the wipers and realized the 2nd wiper didnt have the plastic thing over the blade, the connector was broken, was missing the adapter I needed, and looked like it had scratches on the wiper. Went back to get another one. Same guy who checked me out was playing on his phone and just said get another one. Didnt say anything else. Went outside to put it on and that one was missing the adapter. Double checked just to make sure I wasnt crazy. Take it back inside and checked the last one they had inside the store so I didnt walk out a 3rd time. Walked up to the same guy to tell him that the 2nd one I got didnt have the adapter. Dude just said okay and I said thank you then left. Im not one to complain but the lack of any human emotion from this dude was just poor. Heavy set dark skinned guy.
