Worst customer service ever...Customer care in Charlotte mailed me a full refund for oil change package I’d purchased prior to my last encounter with these crooks. The repair service is great! I have been here a few times and have not had an issue of having to return for the same issue. The scheduling staff can be a bit more helpful and make you feel more valued, but once you get past that, the service is great.

The service department, sales reps, and management have all been so wonderful and always patient and helpful. Whenever I go in for service or an issue, Eric is always there ready to help and keeps me updated with whatever is going on. I’ve also recently had an issue with my car that needed attention after svc dept was closed but Cameron (GM) personally stepped in and took care of me right away. Service is exceptional.

Absolutely terrible experience. Booked my appt well in advance while stating what the problem was and the time for 9:30am, told me it would take a half day max. I got there early around 9am. Told me they will check it out and get back to me. I get a call at 4:55pm EST. Call back and the gentleman is gone for the day. I get a call at 7am the next day stating the issues that I had already mentioned and that they will call me back with a quote for fixing said issues. First issue was a roof rack that was installed by Cadillac, which makes a TON of noise in the car even when Im going 30 mph. They said that this is a normal issue and cannot be fixed. Only solution was to take off the roof rack that I paid for to use. Second issue was the screen on the rear entertainment broke with a crack. The screen is still functional. I got quoted $1500 dollars to fix one screen on the back of the seat. At this point, I thought I was being messed with and told them that I will just pick up the vehicle. When I get there, the gentleman I worked with is not even there. No follow up, no questions. This vehicle is not even 2 weeks old. Absolutely terrible experience.

I am very pleased with the purchase of my 2020 CT5. I have shopped other Cadillac dealerships that treated as though I was wasting their time. I was so pleased with Hendrick at Southpoint. My salesman Paul was absolutely amazing. It was a hassle free.I was treated with must respect. The facility was clean and everyone wore their masks.I have since returned for my first service and the service department was equally clean and efficient. I definitely would recommend Hendrick to anyone.

When I purchased my car it had a dent in the side of it that I did not see until I was getting ready to leave the lot. Hendrick repaired this dent free of charge as they should have. I was also surprised that the vehicle I just purchased has an oil leak. Hopefully it will be repaired also. I am very pleased with the functionality of my 2019 Cadillac XT4 but I am concerned if there are other problems with it that I have not been made aware of.

I did not receive the diagnostic review until 2:20 pm on Thursday after I called 5 times even though the car appointment was at 9am. Did not have car ready until Monday around 2. Their estimate stated I needed steering shaft and boot. The car repair for steering shaft happened 2 years ago and was now out of warranty I was told, damaged boot may have damaged the new shaft so it still may need to be replaced. the boot had been replaced on Friday but the tech didn’t have time to test it till Monday to see if it works. if the shaft is damaged it may need to be replaced again. they could save me money if its just the boot. I was told Thursday the parts were in stock and the car would be ready by lunchtime on Friday. But On Friday morning, I was told the part was ordered and I would be contacted when it was installed. No one contacted me. I had to call them again at 4:38 pm because there was no follow up from service area. All of their 18 car loaners were all out as of Friday at 4:38 pm. No loaner was reserved ahead of time for the weekend because it never became apparent that the tech was behind maybe? Saturday and Monday I spoke with managers on duty. Their updates on the repair differed from Samantha the service consultant. According to the notes on computer, the part had not even come in yet even though Samantha said it had been installed. The service folks who answered calls would not transfer me to a manager on duty. I had to use a different option when I called to reach a manager on duty. The managers on duty were respectful and appeared responsible. Every time my husband or myself spoke to Samantha the details changed continuously. The repair tech left early, the other service consultant left etc. the original estimate included a part they had already replaced (I called that to her attention-she didn’t check repair history), another part for a second repair was left off the estimate but the labor was there. Needless to say, I said no thanks to 2nd repair. Samantha lacks transparency and engages in diversion of facts, made up on the spot facts, no facts, stretched facts. She just kept spinning unnecessarily. Had an answer for everything that made no sense. Easily the worst experience over a number of years I have had there. She appeared unconcerned and indifferent.Update 9-13-2021I have had the pleasure of working with John and Austin and they worked diligently to give me a great experience. They kept their word and addressed the issues aforementioned in the previous post. They were prompt, professional and courteous. I appreciate their attention to detail for service to my vehicle. I am pleased with their desire to turn things around and they accomplish that goal. In that respect, I will return again as needed. They turned a 1 star review to a 5 star. Thank you both.

I had just the basic service to change the oil and filter and balance and rotate the tires. I have no way of testing the quality of the work. I was told it would take 1 hour, 20 minutes. At 1 hour, 50 minutes I checked and was told the car was still being worked on. 5 minutes later i was advised the car was ready.MY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT WAS GIFT CARDS THAT ARE MISSING. THEY WERE IN THE DRINK HOLDER IN FRONT OF THE CONSOLE OF MY XT5. MYBAD FOR LEAVING THEM THERE. JUST DIDNT THINK ABOUT IT. DISCOVERED THEM MISSING A FEW HOURS AFTER I GOT HOME.

I called this dealership about a specific automobile and expressed that I would be coming up on a Friday to purchase. At that time, I also asked that they call me if the vehicle was sold before I drove from Charleston, SC. I then called back on Thursday several times to request a return call from Maggie Roundtree. I never received a call on Thursday from her, she was who answered my call and answered my questions about the car previously. I did get a call confirming my appointment for Friday. Maggie proceeded to text us around 10:30 am on Friday because she said that she had just tried to call. She didn’t mention that the car we were coming to see was sold. To make our appointment we had to leave home at 8:30 am. When we got there someone seemed to amazingly meet us and knew that the SUV we came to see was sold. Maggie never apologized in person or acknowledge the multiple attempts I made to contact her including via text. Luckily, we found a great deal at Hendrick Lexus in Charlotte with amazing customer service. However, I am extremely disappointed in the professionalism exhibited at Hendrick Cadillac Southpointe. They almost ruined my anniversary gift for my wife.

I had the pleasure of having Ms. Johanna as my service specialist and she was simply the best! bought my Cadillac from another Rick Hendrick Dealership but decided to take to Durham since its a Cadillac dealership. I requested loaner and I was given one, originally had an issue with my A/C condenser, but they found other issues with the vehicle I purchased and did not hesitate to help. Took a while to get my vehicle back but everything was perfect, I cant complain, I did get updates along the way and they made sure I had a great experience which I did, I highly recommend their services and personally Ms. Johanna is the person you should request. 5 stars all the way.

Best All Around Dealership!!4 years ago, I walked into the Hendrick Cadillac Dealership and bought my very first Cadillac XT5. I received Great Care from everyone there and for this very reason, I have returned to buy my 2nd vehicle, another Cadillac XT5. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else to purchase this vehicle. This time, the experience has been different due to the Covid pandemic that we are in and so, the Sales Manager, Andrew Morse was in contact with me through E-Mail, which made it so nice. Andrew knew what we were looking for and he would send me quotes on certain vehicles trying to make sure that we found exactly what we were looking for and still receive the March Incentives. I will be honest, I despise going to a car dealership because usually you lose an entire day going back and forth and really.....who has time for that? I got to the dealership, Andrew came right out, he had already had the car sitting at the front, we drove the car, went inside, he had the numbers and BAM. Best experience ever. Andrew is extremely honest and that goes a long way with me and I will be a repeat customer. They are a Team and Andrew is a great asset to the team.I always take my car there for the service and maintenance that it needs and I have never had any problems.Do yourself a favor, Give Hendricks a try if you haven’t because you really will be Happy that you did in the end.Adrienne Dunnagan

As multiple people have stated, the service staff has lost sight in the basic definition in the word Service. Although the manager apologized there was nothing conveyed on how he would address the behavior of the staff. I once worked for a fortune 100 company who stated that a major company has very few opportunities to sway loyalty. They believe in selling a product to stand behind, address any issues with conviction and compassion while treating customers with respect, even if they are wrong. What does Hendricks stand for.

We called to make a service appointment on Thursday and was told to come at 10 am Monday morning for the appointment. When we arrived not only was the appointment not on their system but the staff was very rude and would not honor the coupon that was sent in the mail. They would not even check our vehicle at all. This is not the first time this location staff has been very rude or kept us waiting longer even when the vehicle was ready.

The service was great and the appointment setter worked with me to get in early. Roop was very professional and courteous. When I got home I noticed a black mark on my passenger side quarter panel. I called and spoke with Steve who said he would do a full detail next time i cam in for service and would not my account. I hope that this is truely a full detail as he advised. I just changed dealerships from Cary to Durham not off to the best start but hope good things moving forward.

I generally have been well pleased with service at Hendrick, but I was disappointed this time because 2 employees wore their masks below their noses and customers were allowed in without any masks at all, and they certainly did not stay 6 feet away. I also do not like that the next available agent does not help you, that you have to wait on one specific one. But the work done on my car was of good quality. However, I do think the management should take a pandemic seriously and work to protect their customers.

We took our 2015 Cadillac Escalade. There was a problem with the Que screen having a glitch. So they told me it was the Que screen 1700.00 dollars later it was suppose to be repaired. But now it has a navigation problem. So my wife took it to have them look at it and diagnose the problem. She was told it would take a couple hours able to diagnose the issue. So now she spent 4 hrs there and still no diagnosis . So now we have to take it back for the third time. Wouldn’t recommend this place.I have reached out to them twice and was told a manager would call needless to say they never called me back. That is terrible customer service.

Its a great philosophy.For those buyers who are technical, youll love the software apps that help you stay connected with Cadillac and Hendrick. My 2019 Chevy Bolt had a recall. I originally made an appointment online. The day I arrived for that first appointment, I was told I had an appointment for dropping off my car (as opposed to waiting there for the repair) so it would be about 3-4 hours before the 30 minute repair could be made. Rather than wait there for that length of time during this time of Covid, I made another appointment so it could be done while I waited. I arrived and a friendly helpful worker checked me in and told me they would get to it asap. A half hour after my appointment time, he told me I would have to come back because they did not have the part. I find it inexcusable that they would not have a recalled part, especially since I told the man at the first appointment that that was what I needed. I am currently waiting for a call from them to let me know when the part is in when I will go for my third appointment to have the reportedly simple recall fixed. I feel like Hendrick Chevrolet service does not care that it is wasting my time. I feel frustrated and disappointed!

It was time for a regular oil change, so I booked online. I later called to change the type to valet. They picked my car up at my office and brought it back when they were done. They called to alert me before the drop off and pick up, so I knew when they would be there. The driver was friendly, wore a mask and put seat cover, etc in my car for my protection. While I wasnt able to secure a vehicle this day due to the particular option of interest was a little out of my price range Dylan left me feeling like I had a friend in my corner. He didnt guilt me for wasting his time and he was intent on keeping an eye out for the price and model of a used option I was interested in. Dylans focus was on a happy customer even if that meant not finding the right solution today instead of forcing me into an option I just wasnt happy with. This type of sales personnel is hard to find and Im happy I had the pleasure to find Dylan.

Made appt for first oil change and to diagnose brake pedal vibration on a brand new Silverado. was given the truck back 2 hours later and did not properly diagnose brake pedal vibration. Try harder next time guys and gals.

My first service experience after purchasing my new GMC Canyon from Hendricks was terrible and extremely disappointing. Their app to book appointments didn’t work and they admitted knowing it hasn’t worked for months. They dismissed the bad bearing noise in my new truck saying they couldn’t hear it. They haven’t lived up to their commitment to provide me the second key they owe me. Now they won’t return my phone calls or emails after over a week of my attempts, including sending copies to the General Manager. I’d buy and get service somewhere else. Their customer service is the worst I’ve seen in my 40 years of buying cars.Update - the number you provided below is a main number that goes to a menu tree with the same options I had before. When I pick the option for customer service it just takes me back the options for sales, service etc. These are the same people who haven’t called me back already. Real customer service would be to give me someone’s actual number to assist me. Or another novel idea - why don’t you tell John Wayne or Geoff Edwards to just call me back like I asked initially. This is another example of how you don’t get it. Please just send me the second key you owe me. I’ll eat the extra cost you charged me for “discounted” oil changes when I bought my truck and I’ll take my service somewhere else.
