Just had a wonderful and fast experience at the Mark Jacobson Body shop. A front plastic panel had come loose on my Toyota rental car. Rental car place wasn’t worried about it but I was concerned. One of the front desk managers popped it right back on for me, she saved me a lot of hassle! Couldn’t be happier and feel so much better to have the front plastic bumper piece secured

I bought a car from back in August and have had an oil leak ever since. Ive spent hundreds of dollars to get this fixed. Ive tried to reach out to the company to at least cover the repair. No response. This is definitely something that should have been discovered during their inspections.

This place sucks!!! I recently got into an accident and I thought since this is a TOYOTA dealership that they would fix my car correctly! WRONG!!! First off when I dropped off the vehicle I told them to check my radiator and my alignment because of the smell and because of the shaking from the vehicle. 2 weeks later they called me on a Wednesday and told me, my car is going to paint and that it will be ready Friday. Friday they call and tell me they have to replace my radiator. They call me on Tues to come pick up the vehicle. I go pick up the vehicle on Wednesday and immediately I said the paint color is off. On top of that the headlight that they were suppose to repair was scuffed, broken and not on right. I go to work and my coworker looks at it and tells me that my headlights, bumper, hood and fenders are not aligned. So I call them back and they call the insurance company and says that I need an alignment. The next day they come pick my car up take it to get an alignment and they were suppose to align all the areas that were not aligned the first time. I get my car back once again and I take it to a Toyota dealership to trade it in and the salesman tells me that they did a horrible job!!! My paint doesnt match, its still not aligned and on top of that my bumper isnt even a Toyota bumper!!!! I went to Carmax to have it appraised and I was told the same thing by 3 other people there!!! Their service sucks and I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!! One they did not do a good job on actually looking at the car and assessing the damage from the accident. 2 they didnt even put the car back together and do a quality check on the vehicle before giving it back to me and 3 they didnt even put Toyota parts on my vehicle, they decided to go the cheap way and do aftermarket parts. NEVER again!!! They have lost my service as well as any other people that I know if it is up to me!!!

Didn’t end up selecting them to work on my vehicle but staff were very helpful and thorough throughout my encounters with them. Ended up going to Chevrolet collision center.

I had a Camry repaired here because I assumed since it was associated with a Toyota dealer it would be my best bet. The car had an a front spoiler that had been scraped a good bit on curbs and steep inclines prior to the accident, something that I readily admitted. However, it was securely attached to the car before the accident and that was all I expected from the repairs. I went to these people because I had a choice and I naturally felt they were working for me in my best interest. Well, wrong! Julie, a woman that worked there seemed to be working more for the insurance company than she was me. She went as far to tell them that the spoiler was damaged and that she had worked for insurance companies in the past and knew what to look for when processing a claim. She told me this as if she had figured out some plot I orchestrated to scam the insurance. If I wanted to make money off this situation I could have easily pursued legal action with any one of the numerous lawyers that contacted me in the days after the accident but I didnt and I never would. In the end I paid for half the cost of the spoiler because the old one could not be reattached and it was either buy a new one or not have one. After all this they did not even attach it correctly and a few months later when buying new tires, it was brought to my attention. Also, the trunk had a large spot where they didnt apply clear coat. When I asked about it the guy that run the body shop said all it needed was a little wax but it couldnt be waxed for a week or two. Needless to say he was blowing smoke. Im sure these two winners have long since moved on but Ill never forget the poor service and sloppy work that I experienced. So as I now search for a repair facility to do some minor body work I ran across this place again and thought Id pass this bit of information along. Wish Id had known before I trusted them with my repairs.

Poor customer service: never received updates on the work being done, I had to call them each week. The staff acts as though they are doing you a favor by fixing your car when it should be the other way around - they should be thankful for your business.Sloppy work: I had to return the car 3 times to fix the same repair! The 2nd time I returned the car, they neglected to replace a window that should have been on their list. As well, numerous and OBVIOUS scratches on the car that were never buffed out. The 3rd time I returned the car was because the work they did to the roof of the car caused significant water leakage into the trunk area after every rain.Poor attention to detail: I do not understand why the bother to wash your car before returning it to you as if that will somehow cover up the shoddy work they did. The car wash is terrible and streaky. My car looks better dirty than after being washed by Mark Jacobson Body Shop!Do yourself a favor, dont waste your time with Mark Jacobson Body Shop. Go to Gerber instead...the quality of their work is unmatched!
