So Good, you really saved my bacon today! After ordering a homecoming dress online that really did not work for my daughter, we found ourselves with less than a week until the dance and no dress to wear!We live up in Gainesville, but there arent a lot of options as far as formal dress shops. I did a quick search on the internet and discovered So Good in Gwinnett. I thought I would start here and then head back to the Mall of Georgia-area if we didnt find anything we liked. Turns out everything we needed was right there. It took us about 40 minutes to drive down but it was absolutely worth it!There is an exciting array of formal dresses at So Good. If teen girls want anything when it comes to a formal dress, its options! I heard more than one person walk in saying they werent even sure where to start theres so much.Whatever your style is - simple, sparkly, Hollywood glamour, 90s vintage, fairy princess, homecoming queen, cool, classy, modest or revealing, colorful of basic black, you seriously will find a dress to love here.From the shorter dresses that are more casual and perfect for homecoming, to wedding gowns, prom and pageant attire and quinceanera dresses, there was so much to explore! My daughter, who is not a girly-girl, walked in and gasped when she saw all the beautiful dresses. The selection (and sequins) are quite dazzling.We worked our way to the back where the homecoming dresses are located, and went through the racks to find some favorites. The pricing is fair for all these gowns, there is also a discount section and even a rack of $15 dresses - how cool is that!Staff were helpful, getting dresses down from the walls for us if they were out of reach, and, after she selected some options, they were very sweet to get us into one of the large dressing rooms with big full length mirrors. An employee assisted my daughter with the zippers and hooks as needed and in the end, she found a dress that is perfect for her fantasy garden themed homecoming dance. The pandemic has robbed our kids of a lot of their high school experience, so I was really thrilled that she found something that made her feel so happy.The store also has all the accessories you might need to finish off your look. There are fancy shoes, all sorts of costume jewelry, hair accessories, even gloves if you are going full-debutante ball. My daughter was able to buy coordinating press-on nails, 3 for $5 earrings, a beautiful jeweled headband and even a pink bandana for spirit week, you know, because On Wednesdays, we wear pink? all at this one location!So, thank you so much So Good for making this frantic dress buying trip a success! We will see you again in the spring for prom season!

Love this place. I normally go for beauty supplies, but I decided to look for a dress on my last visit. The woman who helped me did an excellent job. She asked me what I was looking for and nailed it. I got an amazing lewk for a great price. If you need an outfit for a party, wedding, prom, etc Id highly recommend it.

Bridal:Lots of section and various price ranges. Make an appointment or you only get to try on 3 dress. Really big store with a lot to offer. Staff was decent.

When I placed my order online, there is an option for “pickup”. The lady I spoke to on the phone lied and told me I can pick it up the same day. So I drove for miles to this address that they have listed for their “Distribution Location”: 2605 N Berkeley Lake Rd NW Suite 600 Duluth GA 30096 and when I looked through the window, it is an empty space that looks like it’s for lease. It is illegal to list addresses as your business when there is nothing there. Here are the photos I took of the outside. Anyway long story short, whoever I spoke to on the phone told me on 11/25 (Day before Thanksgiving) to place my order online and I can pick it up the same day. That was not true. I then found the actual store that this company uses to drop the product off to and that address is: “So Good Beauty & Bridal” 3480 Steve Reynolds Blvd Duluth, GA 30096. My order wasn’t ready at this store until days later. I could have just paid for shipping. There was no point in using the “Pickup” option. I did not have my hair order for Thanksgiving, which was the whole point of me choosing the pick up option. The owner of So Good Beauty & Bridal was rude, disrespectful to me and told me he has nothing to do with the orders. They are a different company that pays them for dropping off the orders to them. It was a horrible experience

This place is fantastic any and everything you need beauty related. They have the most beautiful costume jewelry I have ever seen and the prices are reasonable!

I was treated poorly by staff my first visit here. I shouldnt have to say this, but I am African American. Based on some of the reviews, apparently Im not the only one. There will always be another Beauty Supply, Bridal Shop, restaurant, etc, to shop at right around the corner and get Great Customer Service and Honest Staff. Some of the staff here are very dishonest and have forgot that without us, they have No Business! Thanks, I dont recommend.

I bought 2 wigs. customer service was great. Since COVID-19 no one is allowed to try on the wigs. Needless to say I like them better on the mannequin. Wasted my money but Ill have to make due

This beauty supply store has everything! Lots of different wigs, weaves, and hair to choose from. A whole bridal and formal wear store inside as well. It’s kind of a one stop shop for hair and formal evening events. Some items aren’t clearly priced though, but besides that, I like it.

NO BATHROOMS and RUDE customer service? Go to Beauty Master instead-- its only 5 minutes away and 10x better experience. Ive been going here for almost a decade-- bought my prom dress here years ago-- despite having used the restroom before, it is suddenly an issue now. Its changed for the worse over the years, and according to other reviews Im not the only one who feels this way.

I had shopped at their location in Savannah before it was closed and I also shopped on their website. I didnt know this store existed or even if they are the same people that ran the other location and website. I found out about this location online and I had it on my places to go for a very long time. Fast forward to present day, I was in this area actually looking for another business. I was in the area for about 20 minutes looking for the other business with no luck. As Im driving along, I see this huge business off in the distance. I had to double take because I was making sure I wasnt seeing things!!! I forgot about looking for the other business and made a beeline to this one through heavy traffic and all!!! Im still shocked that I was about to check this place out, because I had absolutely forgot I wanted to see what they had to offer in person. God was definitely directing me to this store. This store is massive and offers almost anything you are looking for hair, jewelry, makeup, formal wear, formal dresses, and accessories. I couldnt make up my mind on what merchandise I wanted to buy, so I bought quite a few items to appease me until the next time I get to shop here. The owners/employees were very friendly and helpful. Personally showing me different inventory and giving me the backstory on some of the items. This store is pretty good as it gets when looking to get dolled up and get glamorous on a day to day basis or just for a special occasion. This is a place you need to check out!!!

Awful experience and very rude customer service. I came to purchase Here for my sister-in-law’s wedding.I asked to use the restroom and they told me it was closed due to Covid. I explained 3 different employees I understand but it’s an emergency for my autistic son who is 2 1/2 in potty training and I’m disabled still refused to allow us access to restroom. My mother in law had to take my son outside and change poppy diaper. I ask to speak to manager was told no manager was here. Employees just turned around and Ignored me. I still purchased over $400 in merchandise. Next day I called the manager Kevin explained my experience. The manager Kevin was rude and told me people have purchase more than me. I explained it’s wrong to refuse to disabled people and especially a special needs child. I won’t be coming back here.

From prom dresses to wedding dresses, from lip gloss to full face make up products, they even got flowers for the wedding, momma dress, and bridesmaids dresses. When I say EVERYTHING I MEAN EVERYTHING!!!!!! ITS WORTH THE TRIP!!

That store is great it has almost everything; you would need for formal wear, all types of hair, hair products, makeup, eyelashes and costume jewelry accessories from child up to an adult. They got four stars because they dont carry gator claw hair clamps; I was disappointed about that.

Huge selection of hair, ponytails, wigs, half wigs, braiding hair, weaving hair, clip ins, synthetic and human hair. Lots of hair care products, make up and cheaply made clothing. Large selection of bridal gowns and formal wear. Pretty tight walking through the aisles. Its a little overwhelming if you walk in without a plan. 😳 Standard pricing like most hair supply shops. No one seems particularly excited to help you but they are there, sprinkled throughout the store if you have a question or need help.

This store is infamous for their disrespect to their black customers and against my judgement I went in the store with my family. We found some jewelry we wanted to purchased and wanted to show the rest of the family we went two steps and was clapped and yelled at by the staff to come back. Even though we were only steps away from her to see us and us to hear her. I left after that. Here’s my point why does these type of stores carry products only for black people but refuse to treat us like a human being out shopping. I have not put anything in my pocket, I have not given you ANY reason to treat me this way. Please stop shopping at this store they don’t respect us they only want to build their wealth off our back.

The customer service that this company offers is below one star. Between the lack of communication, service, and misinformation this company needs to make serious improvements. I placed an online order on Saturday and received no confirmation. I called the phone number provided by google on Sunday and as soon as I said online they cut me off and gave me what is supposed to be the phone number to their online order customer support number. I called the number twice and no one answer and the third time someone picked up and did not say anything. I called the store back and told them that no one is responding and they said oh the online support is no open on weekends I said okay I will call tomorrow(Monday). I called Monday.....three times and all three times someone picked up and didnt say anything. So again I called the store. then the owner I assume told me that he cant help me and there is nothing he can do as he knows nothing about online orders and they will send it when they send it. So a simple phone call from me wanting to know the status of my order quickly turned into just refund me my money because the customer service I could not continue with. I then asked the guy who I had on the phone from the Duluth location if there is a general customer support number or a manager that I can speak with because at this point I am getting the run around on my order. He says no that is the only number he knows and told me to just keep calling. At this point I was fed up. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever been through and the lack of followup they have on orders and customer concerns in general definitely makes me not want to ever purchase from them again.After trying the online order number AGAIN I decided to email them on the email provided on the website to basically tell them to cancel my order. Their response was to read their terms and conditions and orders cant be cancelled when in fact when speaking to both the store representatives they gave to the phone number to CANCEL and I confirmed with the manager at the Duluth location that I can cancel my on line order and he said YES. So I politely respond to the email and let them know that this was what was communicated with me and I will be processing a refund through my bank because it does NOT state in the terms and conditions that I can not cancel my order. It states that you have 48 hrs after you placed your order cancelling is not allowed which does not apply to me at the time.Who ever runs this place needs to take some basic business management or customer service courses at the least because the left hand obviously doesnt know what they right hand is doing and I am sure this is not the first time this has happened.

First they have people working to help you with your hair who do not have any idea what they are doing, second they have a small sign to fool the people saying that everything is for sale that there is no refund that is a deception that signs are always there for Do not make any returns and force you to keep something that you are not satisfied with by keeping your money, third they are disrespectful and do not have customer services, there are many other places with better service, it is good to exploit your options better do not go to that place I do not know they deserve your money 💰

This store has alot of items

They have almost any type of hair you can find as well as a large selection of wigs and natural hair products. The only negative is that you can tell they do business with certain customers (read between the lines please), but dont trust them. They will follow you around the store. Theyll watch you like a hawk. Theyll shout to each other in their native language to talk about you or warn each other of your comings and goings. Pro: they have a lot of stuff. Con: they dont like you. They like your money. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Unfortunately their return policy is why I will not be returning. We purchased a dress for several hundred, never removed from the bag, tags on it and in perfect condition still- ended up unable to attend the function 8 days later-dress never touched and they were unwilling to even offer a partial store credit or ANYTHING! I will go to a store with more flexible return policies as unfortunately things happen that make that necessary sometimes, now I am out hundreds of dollars with a dress that wont be used.

I found the perfect prom dress here. The selection is HUGE and the quality of the dresses is really good. Can be a little pricy but it was worth it for me. My dress was about $450 and $85 to cut off some length and tighten the straps. There are definitely more affordable dresses but the one I found had only just come out so it was a little more expensive. Shirley did my alterations. I went to try on the dress after alterations and the straps were still a bit too loose but she fixed it in like 5 minutes. Customer service was over all really good. There’s a nice selection of costume jewelry that looks expensive but you could get a set with a necklace and earrings for less than $100. Customer service was great. I’m suuuper picky so I thought it would be impossible for me to find something I love after going to several stores, but So Good made it easy.

Great customer service

I came into the beauty supply store today looking for some hair products and makeup. As I was walking around with my daughter I felt as though several of the people that work there were just watching me, they were slowly walking behind and around me. I do not appreciate that. Im not sure if its because Im African-American, or if they just felt suspicious of me. I did not have a big purse or a bag, I was clean when I walked in and I had my daughter with me. This store has a lot of nice merchandise however, I will no longer shop here because when I shop somewhere I want to feel comfortable and welcomed. The customer service needs alot of improvement. Ive been a retail manager in the past and understand that sometimes you watch people for suspicious things however I did not give off that vibe. Hopefully this will be a learning lesson for this business and prayerfully things will change one day. Regardless of whether things change or not I wont be back!*Update and reply to managements responseAs a follower of Jesus Christ my family and I have no reason to make any untrue statements, nor do we take what does not belong to us. You have replied in an incorrect way by just making up something. As a business that has been given a chance in America to be successful you have not learned customer service. The customer comes first and is the only reason why your operating a business, also by the grace of God. This is not the first review that has been left about the same type of situation that someone else has encountered while shopping here. Absolutely fantastic shop, if you are looking for any type of wig, hair extension or hair for weaving. Every type, from Kanekalon to human hair in every length, and color is available. They also have beautiful sparkling jewelry, and an assortment of gowns and dresses in the back. Along with makeup and other accessories and a great sale always going on for the hair out front usually, you can find a great deal!
