I was at this place less than a month ago where I had my tire patched. The person who helped me was unprofessional to say the least but I chalked that up to just me being overly sensitive. I came back less than a month later today to have them take a look at it again because the work they did wasn’t correct and the light went on again. I made sure to leave plenty of time so I’m here an hour before they close and there is absolutely nobody here. Another person looked at me who is the same demeanor as the other person I previously dealt with; uninvolved, disinterested and unprofessional. He said we took our last car in and we can’t help you. It’s an hour before they close, I just asked politely if you could just take a look at it. He was doing nothing but on his phone when I pulled up and he looked at me like I was interrupting his app time. I will never come back here again. They obviously don’t care about the customer. Off to Costco.

Service and pricing was great. Initially spoke with Aris and worked with Corey upon arrival. Corey did everything he could to make sure my expectations were met! Recommending my family and friends to come here with their car needs!

Went in just browsing tire prices for my durango and all I can say is wow! Not only did I get amazing customer service but the prices and quality of their work was amazing. Corey was extremely professional, he wasnt pushy at all. Even when he broke the news that I could use a new set of brakes. He was very realistic and upfront with everything!! They charged me twice the price of four wheel alignment and The wait is so long. Other branch of mavis is better compared to this one. 👎🏼

I must say the staff at Mavis Tire and Brakes in Downers Grove, IL are Spectacular. I had an object stuck in my tire and my loving husband attempted to repair it. To no avail it developed a slow leak, so I googled the nearest repair shop. I chose Mavis and was greeted by Jose who was very polite, knowledgeable and accommodating. I arrived and had the pleasure of meeting Stacey. She was Professional, Knowledgeable, and caring. She saw that I was using a cane and hurried to the door to assist me. I am back rolling and no more leaks. Than you all!!

Recently installed new tires and did wheel alignment at the Downers Grove store. The store manager Aris is good. He tries to make all the services run quickly. He was always trying to help and make customer have good experience. However, I hope the other guy in this store who also takes care of customer can learn from the store manager.

I had came in an hour before close, hoping not to keep the staff here after close due to my sudden discovery of a nail in my tire. My tire isn’t holding above 30 PSI overnight, and I fly out tomorrow morning and wouldn’t be back til after the weekend so my biggest worry was coming home to a flat tire.I didn’t wanna be that person who expected service so close to closing, but the new store manager insisted I was no bother at all and he would make sure it would be fixed ….. and this new manager also gave me a 20% off coupon for my next oil change to top off my first visit here.I highly recommend trying this place out!! Ask for the manager, Max!

I gave them a shot and they failed. The district manager is too scared to talk to his customers. His secondary manager was too scared to give me his number. Thats sketchy. I dont want their guy to fix it. I want a free tire, I can fix it myself. I wont be filing a complaint, Ill just be taking my money elsewhere, and so should you.

They dont check the oil level after changing it. Mine was 3 quarts low. Also the dip stick wasnt all the way seated in the tube.They gave me a discount as compensation. But still I have lost all confidence. It was a much better place when NTB was running it.Hoping there is no engine damage.

Came for an oil change and was helped right away. Very friendly and helpful employees! They also have the lowest prices for oil changes vs all other auto shops. Highly recommend

I had a great experience at Mavis! I went to a few other places to look at a squeaking sound that wouldn’t go away when braking. No one else could identify the problem, but luckily Mavis found the issue! Aris as well as everyone else was extremely nice and I was so happy that the issue was found!

Fantastic customer service. Was told by two other tire companies that my flat tire was unrepairable and I needed to buy new tires. They offered to inspected tire free of charge and verified that it could be patched and repaired. I will be back to buy tires as soon as these go bad.

I called and made a walk in appointment (for a flat tire repair) through the call center. After I pulled in to get my tire fixed, I noticed there wasnt a soul working on any of the cars. I then entered the lobby where there were three mechanics sitting in the lobby horsing around on the phone doing nothing. When I approached the counter, the rep asked me who I spoke to when I made the appointment. I told him I didnt remember so he looked me up and said I hate that New York Call center. He then asked me to go to the waiting room. I walked back there and there and there were three more mechanics sitting in the only chairs eating lunch and none of them offered to let me (a customer) sit so I went beck to the lobby and waited. After 10 minutes of watching the three mechanics playing on their phones, I told them I was leaving and their service was horrible. On the way out, I went back to the garage service area where there where there still wasnt a soul around working and none of the cars there were still not being worked on. Avoid this sloppy dump of a place... save yourself extreme disgust!!!

I just brought my Tesla here and I have to say that the Yelp reviews don’t do this place justice! They do free tire rotations, they used the pucks to lift my car, and they did it in a timely way. It’s under new management from the last time I was here. Nice folks. They know what they are doing. Also please excuse my curb rash from the photo.

Driving down Lemont Road my rear passenger tire exploded. I immediately turned around and headed for the Mavis Tires & Brakes facility for service. When I arrived there they immediately meet me, surveyed the tire damage and then gave me an initial repair estimate and preliminary completion timeframe. Manny one of the managers said he would be so kind and drive my wife and I home. They kept us updated throughout the entire repair process. I would recommend this repair facility to everyone.

I had my front brakes replaced 6/20. Rudy at countryside was very helpful. Almost a year later, metal on metal contact sound on my front break. To my delight, Rudy was still there and helped me out. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Thankfully was still in warranty. They were very professional. I plan on returning in the future.

Helped me out greatly when I got a flat. Saved my tire at a very affordable price. Great crew working there as well. Hopefully, Ill never be back. But if I get a flat again this will be the first place I go.

Been here a couple of times. Manager is nice, most of the staff is lovely. The last time I got it checked they didn’t give me an estimated time which was odd, and they didn’t notify me when my car was ready. Next time I’ll ask more questions before dropping off my car. Overall good service and good prices though.

Been to 3 different tire shops for leak in 2 front tires. No one could find leaks. Tried Mavis and within 10 minutes leaks were found ! 2 new tires later, no more tire issues. Price was very reasonable and service was Great. Thanks Mavis Tires !

Update:The store manage called me and apologized about the inconvenience as he worked on my issue, Thanks for the call and thanks for being professional.I was installing 2 brand new tires I got them from amazon shipped to their store. They let me wait over 2 hours before they take my car even if I have appointment on amazon and confirmed by Mavis. I had to leave because I waited so long that day. I showed up the next day and same problem happened again, I waited around 1 hour before they take the car... Believe it or not THEY DIDNT DO ANY BALANCE ON MY BRAND NEW TIRES. I had to take it to a different Mavis location to balance the tires for me.

Update: Brought my vehicle back for a free brake inspection. Needed new rotors and pads. Rick worked with me and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Great experience at Mavis with JP, Jeremy, and Phil! Great customer service and they even fit me in on short notice during a busy day. They got me a great deal and didn’t try to sell me on anything that wasn’t needed. Excited that I’ve found a great shop so close to home!

Recently a couple months ago, took my vehicle there for an oil change. The Tech did not check specifications for oil filter and put the wrong oil filter on my vehicle not once, but 4 times. Starving the engine of oil and leaking out on the ground locking up my lifter in the engine having me have to put a new engine in the vehicle. I personally would not recommend this company to touch my vehicle due to not having qualified staff. Plus customer service there is not pleasant and management does not own up to their mistakes and upper management not being mechanics know what they are saying about the vehicles. If you want your vehicle done right, take it to the dealer!!!!!

The worst place. Nobody knows anything about anything. They made me wait for my car all day. How at 5:20 I observe that the store begins to close, they turn off the light and the mechanics leave in their cars and when they saw me outside they told me they had not had time. I demand an explanation. It was respectless

There is a reason the parking lot is empty locals know to avoid. After posting first complaints they contacted me to see if they could solve the problem, so I talked to regional manager who set up a follow up appointment got there and found out he didnt and the assistant manager there was angry because I was upset which considering what happened was justified. If you think you have a reason to go there find one not to, just my opinion

First they told me the tires would be a certain price and never mentioned all the additional fees like road hazard fees etc that was a substantial additional unexpected cost but I let that go. Then a few weeks later my low tire pressure light come on. I look and realize that either the tires are too small or not installed properly as there is a rather large gap between the wheel and the hubcap. I bring it in and they refuse to put them on correctly. I have been looking at many other cars and have yet to see even ONE other car that has tires gapped like that. I wish I could post a picture here to show how off they are. My wheels never looked that way prior. I will never go back.Now I will have to pay even more to have the dealer install them properly, if they are even the right size. May turn into a small courts claim.

Got a flat on my pickup today because of the cold and snow. Got 4 new General tires and alignment done on Saturday afternoon no problem. Jeremy got me set up and even let me clean up my snow covered tire changing equipment inside . Great service

Would never go back again. Worst service ever. Brought new tires and they were ruined in 11 months. Told that it was an alignment issue; then I told them I paid for alignment at the time I brought the tires; then was told oh then it must be suspension. Only offered $100 credit for 2 tires. Rip off.

Did not have an appointment when I stopped in but had me come back and was able to fix the tire that had a screw in it in a timely matter.

Jose and Manny were dope. I called last minute for a flat fix and they took me immediately and fixed the flat in no time at a very reasonable price. Manny even held the door open for me since I was carrying my infant. First time going and it will not be the last!

I think most women worry about getting ripped off when they bring a car in for repair, tires or a check up. (Years ago I was told by a dealer that I needed a new engine yet I got another 50,000 out of that car!) Glad I got a second opinion. Anyway been to Mavis (formerly NTB) a few times now. Bought 2 new tires at a reasonable price and came back Feb. 27th this year because I had a tire that looked low like it might go flat. They told me to come right in, checked the rims and checked for punctures. Tires were fine just low on air (probably a big pot hole I hit). Its nice to be told the TRUTH and treated respectfully rather then someone trying to rip you off for something you dont need. These are good guys that I trust and I will be back again. Have recommended them to 2 female friends. :)

This was a lovely experience. I was allowed to sit back and relax while they worked on my car and before I knew it, the car was ready. They did a phenomenal job. The worker who helped me was named Jermey and he didn’t give me any problems and helped me out.
