I had some motorcycle tires to get rid of and they took them. Yes there is a $4 per tire charge but thats for environmentally friendly disposal. So they dont just wind on the side of the road

Jesse the manager is super proactive and very helpful. This past month I had two company vehicles serviced (one a box truck and the other a van). The new tires, brakes and tie rods were priced great and they did the work very fast. They did me up as my son curbed the car & blew out a tire. I had a warranty on it so a new tire was only $17! Alignment was also needed. But all in all, much cheaper than I was expecting

Exactly one month ago today I went to Cassidy Tire and Service in Downers Grove, Illinois and purchased a tire for $150. The side of the tire ruptured while I was at work and going out to get some lunch. Bad luck that a brand new tire only lasted a month, yes, but not why I would give them zero stars. The problem was that even the simple job of mounting one tire was not done correctly. The lugs were put on so tight (probably with an impact wrench) that they could not be removed with the lug wrench provided with the car. I was close to a Walmart so I walked over and purchased a larger lug wrench hoping to get more leverage and two giant cans of Fix A Flat. After putting the wrench on a lug I stood on it and it didnt budge. I weigh nearly 200 pounds, so clearly the lugs were put on without any concern whatsoever for the fate of a person that needs to put on a spare. After JUMPING on the wrench I was able to finally loosen three of the lugs, but ended up stripping the fourth... because of course a 200 pound man should not have to jump on a lug wrench to loosen a lug. So I ended up reinstalling the rest of the lugs and using a can of Fix A Flat. Luckily, it worked well enough to get me the two miles back to work. Now I will wait until I get off of work in the morning and hope that the other can of Fix A Flat gets me to a competent shop close to work. Thank God I didnt have my kids with me or wasnt out in the middle of nowhere, unable to put on the spare due to Cassidys incompetence. They rate ZERO stars, but I had to click on one to post this. And, just FYI, the sales person listed on my receipt is J. Rios and the tech is Frankie. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Cassidy Tire and Service in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Cassidy representatives were extremely helpful and informative. I have used other locations and all have great employees, however the Downers Grove branch goes above and beyond expectations! You won’t be disappointed.

I needed them to check the air in tires. I was treated very well. I used to to the Cassidy in Berwyn, I was so very happy to find this store in Downers Grove, much closer to where I live now. I definitely recommend Cassidy for automobile needs.

Great place for auto service! Always honest and everything explained upfront. The Fuller children taking over are doing an awesome job! Always polite and respectable as well.

They were helpful, did the work well, and educated me on some things that I hadnt known. Let me know of a couple of things I should be aware to fix later but didnt push anything unnecessary on me. All in all, everything Id hope for when getting auto work done.

The guy who runs the front desk and closes up shop is really nice and communicates well. This place does quality work for a reasonable price. They even identified an issue with my suspension that I was investigating without me asking them to. I will go back when I need an alignment or new tires put on again.

Check in was easy. Scheduled appt and work was started promptly upon arrival. Joe explained a problem I have with my tire sensors. Showed interest and knowledge on how to fix system. Declined for now time restraints. Will return

Joe is great, he tells you what you need and don’t but is never pushing sales like so many other places.Whenever I see a small problem with my tire(s) I swing by and get some advice. The gentleman at the desk immediately greeted me as I walked in the showroom. The young man examined the damage to my tire and made recommendations on how to proceed. I was given options on various types of models of tires to replace my old ones. Unfortunately, they only had two in stock and had to order the other two tires for me. I was called immediately when the tires arrived and once the work was completed. From start to finish my entire experience with Cassidy was positive and I would recommend them for tire service to anyone needing it.

I had a screw in the tire, they were able to repair it, I asked if they patch it from the inside or plug it, I was told they patch it from the inside but when I looked at the paperwork when I got home it said plugged. Wondering which way it was, plug or patch??

Went into Cassidy tire with a totally flat tire and I was seen to immediately. The district manager was there and got me in and out as quick as possible.While I was there I scheduled an oil change for the next day. The store manager gave me a coupon discount he was very kind, quick and prompt. He also said I was close to needing rear brakes.I got a good price and will be returning soon for those.

The service rep was accommodating with the times I could get my car in to have two tires replaced. When I arrived he remembered what I spoke on the phone about. Got the job done explaining several related issues and what to do but with no pressure to up charge the service at this time. What he pointed out were issues I knew but not doing now. I had a tire with low pressure and called for an appointment. I showed up for the appointment and my vehicle was immediately taken into the shop for inspection. A very short time later the technician advised me of the problem and a solution which was acceptable to me. In less than 30 minutes I had a new tire and was out the door.

Couldn’t put air in one of the tires. Tried a few places. Didn’t work. Took it to these guys and they put air in, checked the tires and said it was all good. Didn’t even charge me. First time going to these folks. I’ll be going in again since they are honest and that’s not something easily found these days. GOOD PPL

I called about replacing a tire for my Acura and they tried to charge me 140.00 dollars for one tire and they said thats the least expensive they could do. They are twice as expensive as any other tire place and I recommend them to absolutely no one. Avoid this place at all costs.

Ray the general Manager is wonderful!!! My car always has this “low tire pressure” sign that comes up like every 2 months or so and he always had great intentions of giving good service. He is helpful and always informs you of what is happening and what is next!! I recommend him to anyone!!

Great service and great price.I called in the morning to see if they can replace tires I got from Tire Rack. They told me if I can drop off my car they will get it done by afternoon. When I dropped it off manager was very courteous and it was done by noon.

Steve was fantastic, 11/10 service. That type of customer service is hard to come by these days. Will be getting all of maintenance done at Cassidy going forward as a result.

Came in because my right front tire has a slow leak. Joe, the manager, was very helpful and professional. It was repaired in less than 30 minutes and was covered under our tire warranty from Cassidy. We will continue to use Cassidy exclusively for all our vehicles. Also, the waiting room is very clean, including the bathroom, and they have complimentary bottled water and coffee.

I chose Cassidy as my first mechanic here in town after receiving a stellar recommendation from another retired local mechanic (who has known them for years).I don’t trust many people to work on my classic 1988 Mercedes-Benz, so I called to check them out over the phone. Ray was very personable and knowledgeable. Personality is equally as important to me as strong mechanical skills. All I needed this time was new tires and an alignment, which I received for a very competetive price.Now that the service is done I can say I trust Ray and his crew not just as excellent mechanics but as good people.
