Very fortunate to come across tech auto service. We were on vacation from MN and woke up one morning to all of the brake fluid leaked out. Totally unfamiliar with the area and didn’t know what to do. This place was closest to us. The owner came out took a look and brought it in his shop and even called all stores to find the right part. He was very nice and honest which I wasnt expecting from anywhere as we were thousands of miles from home and desperately needing it fixed. He had us back on the road by noon. Thank you so much. We appreciate you and your crew!
Been going here for years, honest guys. Thats not always easy to find in this line of work.
Excellent service and advice! They go the extra mile to ensure the best work at the best price! Ive been taking my cars here for 4 years+ and have always had a great experience with them.
To me this is the best place to get your car serviced. Very honest owners and hardworking staff. When you go in and get an estimate on something, they are very upfront and will not give you the run around. They charge fair prices and also provide excellent costumer service.
We are next door neighbors and we depend on our vans to get jobs done and make money to pay for everything. Tech auto pulls through time and time again. Knowledgeable and fair with price. They have fixed my vans for over 2 years and no call backs on any work that was done. Keep up the good work guys !
I have been coming here over the past 12 years. Serviced my 3 cars here. But lately their dishonesty is getting the better of them. Gave me the quote for 305 on a piece of paper which I should have kept. That was my mistake trusting them so much. The final bill it jumped to 375 and Ray was showing me another piece of paper. Still have love for Dan but Ray hell no. Needless to say lacks mannerism. Time to take my business elsewhere. DISAPPOINTED!!!
I an very happy with the service here very professional work very respectful staff had my car done just in time for me to make it to work very satisfied great work guys
Cheapest place to a fault.. they will band aid a job, use material that is not preventative, theyll tell you, answer questions HONESTLY,..SO ASK!! Yes,. Sometimes they get it wrong,, Not Friendly,.. They Are Not Salesmen, They are Good Mechanics, and Do the JOB to the best of their VERY EXPERIENCED ability, No Nonsense No Fluff Mechanics 90% of the time the lowest price and about 85% Great Job,.. My first Choice in Getting my car taken care of
Consistent and Fair service. They let me know what needs immediate attention and what can wait. Been a customer for 10+ years
Usually fast
I think the service is not good enough to recommend this place to anyone. After our van had an extensive engine issues so we purchased a used engine from them per their recommendation and warranty. Shortly after the engine replacement, it started to leak oil. We asked them to look at the issue and repair it under warranty. However they claimed there was no oil leak. We brought the van back to them a few more times for the same issue. They refused to admit there was oil leak.We took the van to a different shop to get the second opinion, and they found oil leak using dye. We took that diagnosis back to Tech Auto. They completely ignored and refused to correct the issue.I would not recommend this shop at all. Refuse to see the problem and avoid the responsibility at all cost. I would recommend strongly staying away from this shop.
I think those leaving poor remarks must be mistaking Tech Auto for a different facility. These guys are awesome. Danny and Ray are no nonsense, fair, honest, and do excellent, expeditious quality work. They always only repair what is necessary and never try to upsell you. I personally have been going to them for over 20 yrs with a variety of repair jobs from a variety of vehicles.
Wouldnt recommend! I brought my vehicle in because my turn signals werent working. When they called to give me the update, they werent sure if it needed a switch but recommended buying a salvage part (steering column) to replace some of the plastic pieces that were broken in the column anyway(which these parts arent needed for the turn signal repair or why they arent working) and that they will switch out the turn signal switches. After a week of having my car (I stayed patient while waiting but something has to give when you havent heard from anybody) I HAD TO CALL for an update(I shouldnt have to do that), I couldnt quite understand what he was getting at on the phone, so I agreed to come down to talk. Basically he tells me there is no power going to the switch (I have a little automotive background) and that they will have to see where the wires run to (at this point I figured all fuses were checked and Im thinking its a wire break in the circuit). I told Dan I can grab a schematic diagram for them to help out . Long behold when I look at the schematic diagram, I found there is a fuse for the turn signal located in the trunk area. I share this information with Dan, he looked confused and shocked (almost like a whoops stare) that the fuse was located in the back in the trunk. I get a call the next day saying the fuse needed to be replaced with some relays and that the total repair will be $400.00 (labor). I was infuriated! All mechanics will say, rule 101, is to check all fuses when it comes to electrical. So who knows if my original switch was bad or not they replaced but basically I had to pay for all that labor that may not of been necessary that took them 1 1/2 weeks to complete and figure out with MY HELP. This is ridiculous when they didnt properly diagnose the job right the first time. I wouldnt recommend coming here for repairs, especially when they dont have the resources to properly diagnose your car, so you end up paying more for it with their incompetency!
Very good service. Always reasonable price.
Super honest, reliable and have taken care of our cars for about 15 years now. Theyll tell you if something needs to be done now, or if you can wait, and you can trust them to keep your vehicles in good working order.
Great. Mechanics seem very knowledgeable and Dan and Ray have been my go to guys for just about 15 years
Great service. Very honest people. They have been servicing our cars for over 15 years. I would highly recommend them.
Always friendly services
Very disappointed with the service. After paying $1500 for a front bumper replacement and painting, the paint started peeling off. This is after 6-7 monthsThe owner was very rude when i took my car back. Even tried to blame it on me that it happened in the first place. I could see bubble in the paint that came right off when I touched it. Almost like when you paint without a primer!! The underside of the bumper had some paint that came out but I know that is due to parking close to the curb but this was all over in the front of the bumper where I could see. He hung up the phone when I called to ask when I could come to get the paint job correctly. The oil change that he did, he did not tighten something that caused oil spill in my garage floor. that time also I had to take the car back. Careless and rude attitude. Poor workmanship and dont think it was cheap by any means.
Very Bad Experience!I left my 2006 Acura MDX with them for two days for diagnosis and repair. They told me the problem was the bad Cranking Position Sensor. I paid about $700 and was sent away, no other problem was reported to me. But after driving about one block, I noticed VSA light was on and driving is not smooth. I went right back. As soon as I told them a light was on, one of them said without even looking at me Its traction control system, we cant fix it. Go to the dealers. Shocked and upset, I asked why not tell me then? They started yelling at me now you can start the car and driving... We cant fix that problem.... By now I finally realized there is no way to reason and communicate sensibly with them, and I just left. This is the third time I had my car serviced there and experience is getting worse and worse:- a few months after having all four brake pads replaced with normal driving (a few thousand miles), I had to replace two front brake pads again.- less than 10k miles after replacing timing belts and other related parts for normal 100k miles maintenance work, the belt sounds loose and I had to bring the car back and they said they tightened the belt. But the problem still exists after that.
Always a fair price and quality work. Ive been going here for over 20 years
It is a family business. I went there a couple of times. I had some problem on my mirror one time. It was fixed without charging. To me, it was very unusual and unexpected.
Great prices, great knowledge... but not the most friendliest employees.
Fixed my car for less than the estimate
Rude people and poor workmanship
Honest, quality service
Great place
They can accept walk in
This business is not a taxi service its Auto shop
Very friendly and professional
