Ive been shopping here 5 years and normally they are fine place to shop. Although during a year long pandemic and and state wide mask mandate and a notice on the front door that stating to wear a mask not one of the three employees, I believe one was a manager, thought it would be prudent to ask a customer to put on his mask at the register with other people in line. So much for promoting public health. I expected more from a pharmacy.
Love this place, its clutch on a holiday. Great place, pills and people!
This is my pharmacy anytime and everytime I need my prescriptions. The pharmacy team all know me by name. I love my experience at the pharmacy, also because the staff are always friendly, quick, yet efficient. I love my Walgreens store in whole though. Some of the other employees in the store know me by name, as well. They are always helpful when you cant find a particular item. I recommend this store to friends and family all the time.
Every interaction I have had with people has been very poor customer service in the pharmacy. Attitude. Do not listen. Rush you off the phone. Switching pharmacies due to this.
This is my pharmacy of choice, not only because of the convenience of getting there, getting my prescriptions or whatever else I may need, and getting back home to my house, because it is the closest pharmacy to me. But, I enjoy knowing my pharmacy team, and they they know me. They are very knowledgeable, as well. The only issue I really have is that often times, the pharmacy is very, very busy. As Walgreens has grown in popularity around here, more Rx patients, obviously!! LOL
I really like this pharmacy, but I wish it opened 24 hours
I wish I could rate negative stars for the pharmacy. My boyfriend had major emergency surgery in Boston on Christmas day. He has Massachusetts insurance because he lives there. I live in Maine and was taking him to my home to take care of him during his recovery. Dover refused to fill his much needed medications because he had Massachusetts state insurance. They told us we had to be so many miles from the state. (weird) Told us to drive to a Walgreens that was 40+ minutes in the direction we just came from so we would be closer to Massachusetts. So we did. By the time we got there he was over due for his important medications and in excruciating pain. I went and filled his prescriptions and told the pharmacist the story because I found it very strange. I wasnt the only one. I was told that Dover was very wrong. They could have done it with no problems. As long as you are in a Walgreens system, you could fill at any location, any state. She has also been working for Walgreens for many years. Thanks Dover Walgreens for causing unnecessary pain to someone who just had surgery. For wasting gas and 2 hours of driving and waiting to get what we needed. Poor guy already had spent 5 days over Christmas in the hospital, missed Christmas with his 6 year old, and then couldnt even get relief when he needed it. I am just in shock and disturbed by their refusal and the reason for it. I myself have been far out of state on business and still could fill prescriptions. The other Walgreens was very helpful and disappointed with how Dover handled...or didnt handle it at all.
My friend and her autistic son came to my house nearly in tears because a clerk at Walgreens in Dover harshly scolded him three times to his face, that she has to clean up after him every time he comes in. My friend buys items every time she waits a half hour for his medication to be filled. She buys him little toys, or milk, or other items. If he takes things off a shelf, he puts them back. The clerk put back three items he had chosen to buy. He cried and said he was sorry, but the woman walked away from him. I dont care if he leaves out a toy once a month and she puts it back, she has no right to scold an obviously disabled child.
Associates are very helpful. They came to help me to find an item without I even asking them
They always have what I need
The Manager on staff, Candice was very unprofessional with her treatment to me today. I would drive across town before doing business at a location she runs. I have notified corporate of her unethical, unprofessional behavior. Should not be a leader with that mouth.
Better then rit aid
Nice folks
