Had got 4 new used tires on my car. Down the road driving the back left one got a flat, I called Burke’s and they said they would replace it for free. They got it done fast, apologized and the good thing is you can see everything that’s done so that’s good. And I know they did everything well, I would recommend because they have always gave me good service even in cheswold. Also very good prices, I paid 150$ for 4 used tires that have a lot of tread on them!

Called ahead to check the price. The lady in the phone quoted me $50 to change two tires and balance all four tires. When I got there the guy told me 37 per tire plus another 10 to change the front to the back not even to balance them. I told them I had already been quoted a price less than ten minutes prior to arriving there and he refused to honor that price or even offer me a lower price than what he had inity stated. I went to put the tires back in my vehicle and they were covered in dirt and gravel which got all over my car.I went downtown he road less than half a mile to econo tire and had it done for 50. I can’t for sure say this is Burke’s fault but my right rear tire went flat within that half mile as well. I will never do business with them again

One guy that was new told my fiancé a price started doing it then the owner told him a different price my fiancé said no way that is outrageous so they put his tires back on and didnt tighten the lug nuts on one tire all the way I had to end up going to where he was on the side of the road taking him his impact but it ended up making bigger problems I would never recommend this place to no one! Thats dangerous and messing with someones life thank goodness he knows enough about vehicle to know whats going on.

The guys at Burkes are tireless!Get it? I made a joke there. But really, these hardworking guys will hook you up with a slightly used tire if they cant fix your flat. I dpnt think we were there 10 minutes and got a great tire. Thanks!

Very disappointed in the aftermath. The service was great and very fast. However, I noticed a few weeks later right tire was pulling or leaning the car to the right. Checked out the tire and it was in worse shape than the ones I traded in. The store was highly recommended by my wife but I’m out $70 now. NEVER AGAIN. TO YOUR RESPONSE: The warranty was over at your response. The technique you use is very deceiving. I was told to sit in the office and never got a look at the tires. I wish I kept my old ones, lesson learned.

Its always very inconvenient when you get a flat tire. Luckily they were there. they were ready, they had the right size tire I was in and out in less than 20 minutes with a new tire installed and the old one taken away he showed me what went wrong with my old tire and put the new one on the rim and put it on the car and they were very friendly and fast and precise. Cant ask for anything more than that

This review is for the South Dover location! I dont have any experience with the North Dover location. My goto spot for tire service! They get you in and out. Good prices on tires. They also sell used tires if your budget is really tight. You may have to order the new tires but they get them in a day or so. They save me so much money I dont mind the wait. I once had a bolt on my brake caliper that the poor guy couldnt break loose even after spending almost an hour working on it. He finally gave up and didnt charge me anything for his time. I felt so appreciative of his efforts I said at least let me buy you lunch. Really good people there.

So I went here (South Dover location) to get my tire and battery checked. They were really honest with telling me they saw no issue with my tire and just charged me five dollars for the check. He said there was a lot of corrosion on my battery and that could be why I was having issues and he cleaned it for me for free. Unfortunately found I actually needed a new battery when I took it somewhere else after I kept having the same issue. Good and hosest people just didnt solve my battery problem.

Went to the north location. Tires were ok priced no complaint there. However, the customer service was horrible. They made fun of me right where I could hear them. I let the manager know I heard what they said and he just lied and also began to laugh. I have tough skin but you don’t treat paying customers that way. At least wait until I leave. For that reason I won’t be back. Sucks cause I needed more tires but I’d rather spend where I get some respect

Tried selling me 6 ply tires even know I asked for 10 ply wasnt until the end of the call I asked again Are you sure they are 10 ply tires?There reply oo no they are 7 ply but they will work but thats not what I asked for I replied

This was the first time I went to this business being new and this town, but burkes tire came highly recommended. And I certainly see why, I was pleased with their customer service. They were prompt, polite, answered my questions, and best of all did not try to sell me higher priced tires. Burkes gave me a quotes for both new and used tires. Which was great because not everyone can afford brand new tires but need to keep their vehicle moving. They put my tires on quickly, then within an hour they called to tell me car is all ready and to come and pick up. I was back on the road in no time. I am really impressed with Burkes tire repair service, if I ever need to have my tire checked for a possible leak or if I need to have my oil changed, Burkes tire will be the stop for me. Keep up the great work! I highly recommend this tire shop.

Started coming here months ago to get air for a slow-leaking tire, when seemingly all the DIY air pumps in town were out-of-order. They were always fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable. Not pushy or aggressive about making sales. Have since bought tires there with zero issues. Will buy 2 more soon.

I have been using Burkes for over 5 years. They have good customer service and get the job done fast no matter the weather. If you need a used tire do to road hazards or need new tires i strongly suggest you go to Burkes Tires.

I wasnt totally displeased with the service, it was fast, the guys seemed friendly enough. But I will never be back to Burkes, as after my visit (when I got back home) I realized that the guy apparently tried to jack the car up behind the tire and due to the existing rust damage (old car) he totally crushed the body (think like a soda can) and ripped my mud flap in the process. Now it isnt his fault the car had rust damage but he didnt even tell me he did it, or offer to try to beat it back out, or give me some sort of discount for the damage done to my car. I mean if he is an experienced car mechanic I dont see why he wouldnt realize it was a bad idea to jack it from behind to begin with. The whole thing is pretty shady. The guy damages my car then hopes i dont notice before I leave.

The best place to get a tire fixed in Delaware

I went here traveling to Baltimore and told them I was traveling . Unbeknownst to me they but a tire on with not only one plug but four different plugs. I made it to Baltimore and woke the next morning to a flat tire in a strange city that I paid 50 bucks for. I ended up paying $80 tow bill and $75 for a new tire. I ended up taking the bad tire to them and showed them the bad tire and the owner refused to reimburse me for even the $50 tire I had purchased originally and only said they would exchange my next bad tire as if I ever would trust them again. I understand the tires are used but they put my whole family at risk and the owner is completely unpleasent to talk to. I used them a couple of times with no problem and then this I will never return. Just the ignorance of the owner is enough to make you not want to spend money there. I will definitely take my business elsewhere and it is sad because we have 5 cars in our household and 9 medium sized commercial trucks so they are losing quite a bit of business.

Be careful with dealing with this place. Some of the guys that work there are more than willing to try to take advantage of peoples lack of knowledge.I was quoted 25.00 for a tire patch, I refused, as that well above market rate, and as I was walking away I heard them quote another gentleman 20.00.
