This location is absolutely awesome. The staff is very professional and courteous from the time you enter the store. Vickie, (the receptionist) is always ready to assist in person and on phone. Dr. Braxton, O.D. is very smart and knowledgeable when it come to his skill set. I will only work with Nicole, shes the best there is when it comes to customer service. Ask for her when you visit and I promise she will have you leaving there well pleased and satisfied.

I have been coming to this particular location for at least the last 6-7 years! The customer service has ALWAYS been great. Friendly, professional associates and timely service. Today however there were 4 new faces I’ve never seen. The customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. No one spoke upon entering, the lady who settled us out didn’t even measure my child’s face to see if the glasses fit didn’t ask if I wanted scratch free or any other services they offer. The atmosphere was down and full of tension!! Not only that I witnessed her roll her eyes at 2 other customers as they walked in for no reason at all and That’s what made me write this review. Guess it’s time to find somewhere else to get our eye exams done. Poor service today!!

I absolutely loved the doctor. He was extremely nice and explained everything in great detail. He seemed very knowledgeable and concerned. He didn’t try to just rush me through so he could get to the next patient. The wait time was a little long but the doctor definitely made it worth the wait. The lady that helped me with my glasses after the exam was amazing as well and I think her name was Pam. Overall it was a great experience.

Dr. Braxton,Pat, and the rest of the staff provided excellent customer service. They listened to my choice in glasses. Dr. Braxton explained talked with me about my eye exam results. The staff along with Pat listened to my vision needs and helped me select the best glasses. The wait time was also short. They were not only friendly but also professional. This my place to go for my eye needs.

It take forever just to pick up our glasses.They only have 2 people working there.I have to pay over $2000 for 3 pair of prescription glasses. It is ashamed. They only like yo take money but very poor customer service.Will never coming back. Feel regret to go there from the first place.

I normally enjoy going to VisionWorks. Theyve been my eye doctor for around 15 years now. But, at this moment, I am very displeased with them. I understand they stopped taking walk-ins due to the pandemic, so I made an appointment. I arrived yesterday & was told they stopped taking my insurance 2 weeks ago. I said, how could that be so when I made my appointment & submitted my paperwork online 2 or 3 WEEKS AGO? They say, oh well it was very recent. Maybe it was just 1 week ago.This response makes it no better. If you all recently stopped taking my very common insurance, wouldnt you think to call & tell me that prior to my appointment? I was called to confirm my appointment.. why wasnt I called to inform me that my insurance is no longer accepted?I made my appointment well in advance because they were booked advance. Had I known, I wouldve made an appointment elsewhere weeks ago. The least amount of courtesy wouldve been to inform me of that prior to.I walked down to Lensecrafters & they were able to squeeze me in at that moment. Im very thankful they were able to do so. Im going on vacation soon & needed contacts. I couldnt wait another 3 weeks for another appointment. So imagine my inconvenience had I not been able to quickly pivot smh.

From the minute we walked in we were greeted by an extremely friendly staff! Pat was wonderful as she checked us in with hand sanitizer and temp checks. They were extremely busy but my wife and I were able to get pre screened and eyes checked really quickly. Pat helped us pick the perfect frames and explained our plan to us as she checked us out. All in all EVERYONE on staff along with Dr. Braxton were so nice and helpful! Would highly recommend Visionworks at Arbor Place to friends and family.

Out of the 10 people working there, 3 were kind. Got there 45 minutes before my appt, signed in, no one told me I needed to fill out ANYTHING. Sat there 20 minutes after set appt and asked what number in line I was, thats when I was told to fill out sheet 🙄 took pre-test, sat and waited my turn, only for the gentleman that came up to do his pre-test AFTER ME get called in to do his eye exam BEFORE ME. Either way I got the hell out of there. Will never be back. Unprofessional

I have generally had great experiences with this company BUT today they call me and said they are canceling my appointment that I have had scheduled for a month because the Dr wants to leave early. No big deal right.. except they are booked to the end of the year and offered no alternative solutions. So depending on them, I will loose my vision benefits for the year.

I came in two weeks ago to schedule my appointment and had to deal with an incredibly rude woman named Nicole. I figured maybe she was just having a bad day, no big deal until I came in again today and had to deal with the same attitude as last time. Her soft skills and customer service is terrible.In addition to experiencing Nicoles poor attitude, I also had to work with Xxavier who seemed less than enthused about having to do his job. When I asked him why my glasses cost more than I was expecting, he acted like I was giving him a hard time for asking him to break it down for me. After the third time, I just accepted that my cost was going to be more than it should have been just so I could pay and leave.Those two experiences alone have ensured that I will no longer use Visionworks as my preferred place to get exams/glasses/contacts. Which is a shame because Dr. Baxter is extremely nice and personable as well as the other gentleman who tested my eyes. Those two are the only reason for the two stars.

I had a bad experience with Visionworks. There was a guy at the front desk. He said he was a manager. He yelled at me by telling me to get in line. There was nöt a Single Person in line. Just me. I understand where hes coming from but he did not have to yell at me. VERY RUDE.

Ordered my contacts in September, I wait a few weeks for a call from them to let me know they’re ready, nothing happened so I called and they acted like they didn’t even have my order and then try to tell me “oh it’s been a while, why did you wait too long to call?” I said well y’all were supposed to let me know when you had them, so now I don’t have my contacts oh but they charge my insurance and charged me and won’t even give a refund??? Come on! They won’t even give my prescription to go get them some place else 🤦🏻‍♀️Very disappointed, I will never be coming back to this place.It’s been two weeks now since I sent them my info cause they claimed they would have the manager call me, it never happened. I guess this is just how much they care.

The ladies at the store Liana and Nicole were very helpful, knowledgeable and most of all patient in helping me resolve my issue I was having with my glasses. After I left the store, I said to myself Now thats Customer Service. I will definitely make this my store of choice.

Customer service was good but when they tell you your glasses are coming it’s def cap it’s been 2 weeks since the day I was supposed to get them and I’m still blind 😐

Horrible scheduling. They wait until the night before and call to cancel your appointment. The first time they canceled I was told the doctor doesn’t stay late on Friday’s. Why didn’t I get notified sooner? Now my appointment for tomorrow has been canceled because “we have a female doctor on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s who doesn’t stay past 3pm”. And of course no other openings this week. I made the appointment weeks ago! I have gotten “please confirm” text and emails but no one checks for things like this until the night before?! And they like to call right before they close. Idiots!

We have used Vision Works at Arbor Place for the last 2 years but not anymore.I spoke with a woman who had her manager with her, over the phone. I called on a Monday and she said since Tuesdays are slow, we could just do a walk in.When we got there, it was not busy at all, and they asked if we had an appointment. I told her no, that the girl I spoke to said to just come in, that it would be fine. The refused to let us come in for my husbands eyes to be done for contacts. Said due to covid protocols they were no longer accepting walk ins. I told her we could have been told this over the phone so we wouldnt waste our time and gas to come up there. Shs said to give them a moment to see what they could do. There were probably only 2 people in there at the time. A gentleman came out and said that there was nothing he could do. That he could schedule an appointment, but it would have not been for that day. Due to the sloppiness of their staff, we will not be going back. A couple of them where not even wearing their masks properly. Oh and the kicker, one girl said that there was a guy coming in for a walk in but it was not us.

My experience at this location was AWESOME! EVERYONE was nice and extremely helpfully. My son and I will make this Visionworks our go-to for eye care. Thanks Xavier and Patricia!!

After waiting for a month for my appointment, confirming my appointment and completing their paperwork 2 days before my appointment they call me to say they just got the doctors schedule and they wont be there wed..(the day of my apointment).. mind you earlier in the day i also recd a txt to confirm the appointment.. so thamk you i will now have to wait another month to get one.

Ive been here several times for my son. Always a pleasant experience. Most recently I came in because a screw came off on my sons frame. I went to the store and discovered that I did not have warranty on the frames. But the workers replaced the screw free of charge. My son was very happy and so was I. It was his birthday so we needed his glasses fixed asap so we could go celebrate. And they took care of us quickly. Great job.

I’m extremely picky when it comes to my glasses, and I have trouble understanding things, because the way my brain works I just don’t process things quickly, if at all, and they are all extremely patient, and very good at explaining things. This place is ridiculous! My 6 year old has been waiting to be seen for 3 months. Each time weve been scheduled, the staff calls 2 days before the appointment and pushes our appointment out by 1 month because the doctor decided he/she wanted to leave early or just didnt want to work that day! What a complete waste of our time!

Everyone was great from in the back with contacts to the front staff with glasses. Pat up front was excellent!! She was very helpful and did everything possible to make sure I got the glasses and sunglasses I wanted. Nancy in the back was very helpful with helping with contact selection.

I set up my appointment on line and Im very pleased with the assistance I received when I checked in for my appointment. Everyone was pleasant and very helpful. Nicole made sure I was very happy with my purchase. I was (PLEASANTLY) shocked when she told me what the price of my exam, eyeglasses and sun glasses would cost!! I kept asking questions like, does that include the frame? the lenses? I paid a little more for just ONE pair somewhere else. I will definitely be back when its time for my next exam & pair. I will definitely refer my family and friends!!

Overall good visit. Pat and Trinity provide great customer service. The eye doctor was very through with the exam and informative. However, the whole process took way to long.

I had to leave my grandson on his own to pick the right frames so I could get to work on time. His younger brother showed up but wasnt much help. I asked Pat if she could possibly help him keep his choice below $150 and help him choose something flattering. She was more than happy to help. Working on my third pair of glasses with Visionworks in the last five years! Glasses have always been reliable and the examines have been thorough. The personnel that performs exams and help order the glasses are knowledgeable and friendly. The weekend personnel, that you actually get the glasses from, are just so-so... and thats still over the years. Ill still five a five-Star rating but they should work on their weekend people.

I would highly recommend this location to anyone, the employees have the best customer service when helping you with any concerns or issues you may be dealing with. The ladies make sure you are well satisfied before leaving! I’ve been going to them for going on almost 3 years now and I’m satisfied EVERYTIME.

I picked up a pair of glasses for my son at this location on 2/19/20 and the glasses broke 2 hours after he had them. I immediately took the glasses back to the store for repair since I paid extra for insurance. After sitting for 2 hours waiting on 3 people to attempt repair I had to leave his glasses. Someone from Vision works called me on 2/20/20 to let me know the “repaired” glasses were ready for pick up but this could not be further from the truth. After getting in the car, I realized the glasses were broken even more than they were when I dropped them off the day before. No one should have to deal with the inconvenience of multiple trips for a pair of glasses. I am currently in the store(have waited for 15 minutes so far) waiting on a manager for a refund. I will never be back!

The staff was asking if I needed assistance while looking at frames. The staff took the time to show me the best way to get the most out of my insurance plan to save me money! My 6 year old son went to vision works and we found out he needed glasses because he can’t see! We got his glasses and two weeks later he broke them some how we didn’t get a warranty on his glasses but the associate Trinity was awesome and was patient with me and my small children and helped us get the best deal possible so my son won’t have to go any longer with out his glasses. Definitely satisfied with their services.

First time coming here. Got a routine eye exam and two pairs of glasses (they had a buy 1 get 1 free promotion). The staff was very friendly and efficient, my appointment was at 1, was out of there at 2 even as busy as they were. The lady kept apologizing profusely on the wait but that was not long for me at all, especially since I could not make up my mind on my frames lol. I would definitely recommend them.

I needed glasses while working on the computer for a new job. I was pleased to hear that Visionworks could use my prescription that I had with me to make my Intermediate lenses. I went to another vision store in the mall and they told me I needed to see the doctor, but the doctor wasnt in and I had to wait 45 minutes. The General Manager at Visionworks was pleasant and understood my dilemma and solved my problem. I will ALWAYS shop at Visionworks!!!!!
