This location is much nicer, boutique style, in downtown Detroit, rather than a mall at the Woodland in Kentwood.

Walked in to get a Black Pink shirt I saw through the window. No assistance offered or even a hello from the young women at the cashier counter. But a young lady from the back came out greeted me and asked if I found everything I wanted. I said yes and asked about the rewards program and she helped me enroll and make my purchase. Im a 52 year old father of teenagers and H&M isnt usually somewhere I would shop. But with the help and service I received from Grace, I will definitely be shopping there for my daughters and wife more often. Thank you Grace for a wonderful experience.

I shop at H & M often, and live in Detroit near this location, even though I usually shop at the Fairlane location because it is a larger store with a bigger selection. I was doing some last minute Christmas shopping today, and when I entered the store, there was a gorgeous sweater on the mannequin, and I immediately wanted that sweater, however I could not find it anywhere. I consulted the associate at the cash wrap, and he told me it must be the last one, and that he would have to ask the manager. The manager came and told me that she could not sell the sweater on the mannequin, and tried to show me some other sweaters. I was not interested in any other sweaters, and I didn’t understand how she couldn’t have just let me buy that sweater, and replace it with one that they actually had in stock Needless to say, if I wasn’t buying Christmas gifts, that I had already selected, I would not have purchased anything. From now on, I will go to the Fairlane location.

Why is there clothes so oversized I wear xs in shirt and they still fit like mens small

I liked the location but for it to be so big it doesnt have enough items. I couldnt find shoes or accessories for men. And the choices were limited when it came to tshirts and other clothing items.

Really nice new location that was really needed for downtown Detroit’s newly developing shopping district! However, there could have been some better selections in the men’s department. Being a guy who is 6’-2” and XL, it can at times be hard to find clothes that fit me right at any store, but there were no sizes in XL at this location when I first visited. This place did just open so maybe as time goes on supply and demand will change. But, overall, great location!

Wasnt impressed at all. lets talk the mens department. it could have been bigger. at my first time to this location since its opening I wanted to indulge on everything, mostly everything was 50% off or something like that. I grabbed a few things, walked around, couldnt find what I was looking for, and then I couldnt find anyone to help me. so, I waited in line which seemed like an hour and there was only 3 other people in line ahead of me. finally I decided to leave. placed what I wanted to buy down and walked out. without a single purchase.
