Worst car lot Ive ever visited. Rude staff and just a bunch of scrap junk with the price of gold. Junk junk junk did not do business and I thank the Lord for getting me out of there before I made a bad decision with them. I went down the road to Toms auto sales west and was treated with Top Notch service. Businesses like Extreme shouldnt be in business because it would be extremely stupid to let them take advantage of you. I told the guy I was going to leave a honest review and it wouldnt be a good one and he said he didnt care.

5 Stars . Paul is very helpful, he listened to our wants and needs then helped us find the right truck for us. The price was small for the clean truck we ended up buying. The process took about an hour total. No hassle at all. We drove it away and have had zero problems! All around experience earns an A+

We were looking for a compact truck and Extreme Auto had many on hand to choose from which saved us a lot of time. The truck we purchased was missing the jack and spare key, but Paul was able to come up with what we needed! If you buy a car from them ask for a Carfax. The cars look good but a lot of them are salvaged. He wont give you one so do it yourself i wouldnt buy a used tire from them

I attempted to purchase a vehicle recently. I made the transaction extremely easy via email and text (little investment on part of dealership). I made it clear I would be driving 4 hours to get the vehicle and did not want any surprises. Paul did a live video of the vehicle for me, pointing out how well cared for this vehicle was yet failed to mention it had a salvage title. From what I have researched, a seller should be up front about this. In addition the price insisted on was thousands above what a vehicle with a salvage title is worth. This vehicle had multiple reports of issues on the CarFax since the salvage title. When mentioned to Paul, he was unaware of these, yet I know the dealership has access to the same info if not more. In reading other reviews I now see Paul listed as owner. When talking with Paul about price he repeatedly said “the boss” wouldnt agree to this or that. This now feels as though I was being given a run around. I see nothing wrong with salvage title vehicles. I do see a need for integrity and being forthcoming with information. Had this been done I may have still been interested in doing business here.

Looked at reviews. There were very few negative reviews for a used car dealership. I Compared them to other dealers. All about the same star rating. I Deal with Paul directly. Very straightforward. I would ask a question and he would answer with details! Great!

I recently bought a Dodge pickup and after leaving had some mechanical issues with it. I contacted Paul and he went above and beyond to get it fixed. Most used car dealers I’ve worked with stick to their as is tendencies it was very nice to work with a dealer who was willing to make things right. I will definitely buy from Paul again.

Over the top pleased with my experience here! Paul keeps a great selection of cars all of which are in really great condition. They really put the extra work in to their cars. Tylor is a very honest and easy to work with salesman that went above and beyond. I could not have asked for a better car buying experience.

If they can take advantage of you they will. You could get a better vehicle for cheaper at any other place. Tyler and Paul are the biggest liars. I cant even drive the car because it is unsafe and cant be registered due to no catalytic converter. Considered a solid vehicle by the honest staff.After dealing with this place there is no way any of the 5 star reviews are real.

I have worked with Paul for about a year now and during that time I have found him to be very reasonable. He takes pride in what he sells and always does his best to satisfy his customers. I know he won’t budge when someone makes a ridiculous offer because he knows what his cars are worth AND the additional extras that have been added to some, but he will do his best to get you into the vehicle you want.He is also respectful when a customer notifies him about an issues that might come up after the purchase. The key is communication, not accusations. On the few occasions that have come up, he worked with these customers and resolved the issues. On others, there was no communication or changes were made to the vehicle after the purchase that didn’t turn out so well. As any business owner, you try to satisfy as many as you can, but it can’t always be everyone.I would recommend to anyone to stop by and check Extreme out for themselves.

I was interested in purchasing a Chevrolet Avalanche advertised on Marketplace and Paul would not give me the VIN#. We are 3 ¹/² hours from their lot and wanted a carfax. My husband and I own and run a small from our home shop as a Missouri Auto/Marine Dealership and we would never refuse to disclose information about any vehicle we have purchased and place for sale. In my opinion not very ethical business practice. I was told that if I need the VIN it was not the truck for me. Paul stated a Carfax would not help with the sale of the truck. This makes no since to me, why hide the facts of a vehicles background. He did finally disclose to me that it is in the shop for the next week and that it does have a Prior Salvage Title. The information that it has a Prior Salvage Title does not bother us because it doesnt take much nowadays to total a vehicle. As long as there is no structural damage and all it needs is parts and paint we do those types of repairs all the time. He did not offer to share the information of why it was in the shop either.All our vehicles get a carfax prior to purchasing them so we know their background and are throughly gone through prior to selling them and if we know there was a problem or is a problem that we have not fixed, it is told to all interested parties up front prior to sale. We make it a practice to drive each vehicle as our mode of our transportation for months so we know exactly what we are selling.It is disturbing that there are people are out there running this type of dishonest business practices.Edited 08/9/2020(Response from the owner 21 hours agoPaul was on the road and didnt have access to the vin at the time. He told the facts he knew, prior salvage title and miles are unknown on the call. We advertise on several sites that actually list the vin for anyone/everyone to see. My girlfriend and I were on the hunt for a MINI Cooper. While on our way to a different dealer we passed by this one and saw a blue MINI on the lot. Figured we would stop in and check it out we parked and started taking a look at it. We walked around it for about five minutes before realizing nobody was going to come out and talk to us and we went in. We were interested in seeing the vehicle further. We went inside and couldnt find anybody around except a man sitting at a desk in what appeared to be an office. We stood at the counter and were definitely in his line of vision and stood there for a minute before I initiated conversation. He said the vehicle was unlocked and didnt offer to go with us or anything. We went back outside and looked at the interior. It wasnt in the best shape, which is not the dealers fault I understand but it could have at least been repaired. After deciding it would be worth it to start it and make sure it sounds as it should we went back in to ask if we could do that. Instead of receiving a helpful response or a yes, we were asked how we were going to pay for it and if we had cash in hand. We are young adults and maybe he didnt expect us to actually be in the market for one but we were. And quite frankly this completely put us off and we left and we purchased one from another dealership.

Web site was very user friendly, great selection of vehicles, I love my new Malibu and I didnt have to wait forever and a day for my plates. Recommended to anyone, who needs a good car.

I had been looking for a specific 81 Corvette that I found on the Extreme website. I worked with Paul and Tylor and ended up having it shipped to me as I’m out of state. I received the car and everything was just as promised. I will definitely buy from them again.

Do your research before buying from here. Every car I’ve looked at online that’s on their lot is listed as clean on Craigslist but a quick VIN search in google shows they’re all salvage titles.

Better off looking somewhere else. I went in to look at a few used trucks a week ago and the one that had my interest seemed to be in good condition and advertised as a clean title online. But when I asked Paul for the vehicle history report, he told me WORD FOR WORD, Yeah, I dont buy the vehicle report, I dont want to spend the money on them. Really Paul...So, after he told me this I ended up leaving the dealership to go run a carfax myself. Guess what, the truck was heavily damaged in an accident 3 months prior with a rebuilt salvage title on it. So, this tells me that Paul is a dishonest car salesman and could care less what condition the vehicle is in and lies about it.Ive never run across a more dishonest car salesman in my life. Ive talked to 7 other dealership salesmen this year and they would always be willing to bring up the car history report.So, if you want to go here to buy a used car, ask for the car history report. If he doesnt have it, do yourself a favor and walk out.

I just purchased a vehicle from this company and have not been able to start it each morning... meaning I cant take the vehicle anywhere as intended!! The gas hose was off the tank-- which we discovered once we attempted to put gas in it... wasting even more money-- which was after 7pm meaning I couldnt call the company... cheap cars for the neighborhood as we were told is one thing selling pos cars is another!! Especially to a family with 5 kids!!Because I recently bought it I still havent received the title... when I asked if it was a salvage title... the reply was does it really mater... later my fiance asked and they told him it wasnt one. It seriously better not be or I will be even more pissed than I am right now!!I just want my $$ back plus what Ive spent on it!!!!

I bought a 04 Yukon in may.bought it on Sat.,transmission went out on Sun.they did replace the tranny.odometer read 111,oooh mi.,Im sure it has many more miles than that.engine leaks and uses oil,a quart to 500 mi.rocker panals,quarter panals a d fenders are showing rust,just a muddled up rust bucket spRe tire withnch is rusted up.headliner is falling down interior lines dont work and it wont accelerate when cold.there is more but Im tired of writing.just a lemon.

They told me they deal mostly with prior salvage vehicles and the one I purchased was one of the nicest vehicles I’ve ever owned even though it being a prior salvage. Paul really puts the time and money into rebuilding these vehicles.

Claudia was easy to work with if I ever had to make a late payment. She always worked with me. Claudia and her husband are great people to work with when it comes to your car. They communicate well with me and vice versa. To this this day, I love my car, I have no problems and its great on gas which is a major plus!! I would recommend friends to Extreme Auto Plaza.

I had a great experience here! They were willing to let us test drive the car all the way to Clive to a mechanics shop. When the plates came in they were very quick at letting me know and even put them on for me!

Our family purchased a vehicle through extreme a few years back only to find it out (after the fact) that our title was not signed with all of our paperwork. When the bank we financed it through attempted to get the title we found out that it was a salvaged title. We knew it had a previous accident (car fax), but not a salvaged title, nor were we informed. We finally got a salves title through Illinois and when they did the inspection they found that all of the air bags were ripped out of the car. The cars worth was quite literally $0.00. and unsafe. Weve since kept it and avoided driving it and also avoided selling it, because we dont want to put anyone in danger or risk like Extreme auto did to us. We couldnt live with knowing we sold it and whomever we sold it to could get into an accident and be killed, because there was no air bags in the vehicle. So we spent $14,000 on a salvaged vehicle with no air bags and no title to have it sit on our property for five years and pay off the loan, because we have a consciousness. Please be aware of these low life people running the dealership and please do not put yourself in the position our family is currently in. DO NOT BUY FROM EXTREME AUTO.

I liked the prices were posted on the vehicles and I was greated politely and treated fairly.

We drove 2 hours to looks at a car that was clean and 1 owner. We test drove it and reported an issue when we returned and he called us a liar...poor business man and extremely rude. Ran the VIN and found out the car had been wrecked and had a salvage title. Be careful and check the title before buying very deceiving!

Completely awful business. We not only received terrible customer service but we were discriminated against and werent allowed to even start the car and check it out. We were so appalled by their behavior we just left with a bad taste in our mouth.

They sold a vehicle right from under me while i was sitting in the store. The employees have poor communication. One said she would hole the vehicle until the evening and didnt tell my salesman so when i started to deal he showed up and they told me she had put a hold on it until he got there. So make sure you put a hold on a vehicle if you think you may be interested in buying or it might be gone before you get there.

I didnt even make it to the dealership to check out a cheap truck that I really like and was actually planning on working on anyway. I asked for the CarFax and was told no (not surprisingly) but when I asked how many owners the truck had, I received this response: I dont know how many owners. This truck is only $5995/offer. What difference does it make how many owners its had? The value of this truck is the same weather 1 or a dozen owners. -Paul. Where I come from, it doesnt matter how much of my hard earned money Im spending- customer service is customer service. Not to mention spellcheck is one of the fastest tools you can use and I wasnt asking about the weather forecast.

We purchased a chevy truck there 1 week ago. Drove it less than 250 miles and the truck will not shift. This purchase was my 16 yr old first vehicle purchase. Called them and they wont stand behind any of it....i understand no warranty, as is purchasing but dont tell me you didnt know there wasnt an issue. Looks like we arent the first unhappy customers. Dont darkern their door it will save you tons in repairs and attorney fees later!!!

TRANSPORTERS BEWAREDo not transport for this company They claim false damage and do not pay. We transported 3 cars from CO to them and their forklift driver damaged 1 car while unloading and they say we damaged it and now they refuse to pay for transport of all 3 cars. They are crooks and all transporters should refuse business to them.

Had nothing but great service there, employees are friendly very helpful reasonable monthly payments. I have recommended Extreme Auto Plaza to many friends and will continue to do so.

The dealer was rude: Completely refused to show a Carfax when requested, stating, it wasnt necessary for a car of its price range, and rudely refused a test drive without stating I was ready to make a deal when the roads were a little wet, stating, it was too sloppy for that. And he seemed snarky and condescending the entire time.Rude, and smelled of sleazy business from a mile away. And who the hell did they hire to maintain the lot? The kids they had didnt pay attention and nearly slammed into my car with a truck!Hah, read other reviews and found that they sell totalled cars. That might explain the lack of willingness to show a Carfax.

Beware...they listed a 2008 VW EOS as like new, well cared for and properly maintained with a clean title. For the type of vehicle listed itwould have been a good buy. I called to confirm the title Claudia it was a clean title, I asked if it was a salvage she said no then when I asked for a Carfax before I drive 3 hrs she said it was a prior salvage. This car had been totaled out 3 times twice by floods and jack knifed into a bridge as well as a lemon law buy back due to multiple issues. An honest place would try to sell this care based on price not lies. Thanks Carfax you saved me from this place.

They sold salvaged 2010 Toyota to my parents without telling them anything. They made old people sign the sales papers and then they added by hand that title was salvaged. Four months later Alied insurance company found this. Too bad for Des Moines to have dishonest idiots like this taking advantage of trust put in them that they would at least be honest to tell people if car was wrecked before or not. Dont trust them, ask for CarFax and have everything in fine print before you sign.

High prices and stuck up staff. Vehicle selection was ok but was told I needed 3k down on a 6k vehicle before they would even run my info or check anything. We never even made it inside.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The salesman Paul is a total idiot, I would never ever recommend these rude ignorant salesman, stay away.
