The first time I went for a covid test it took 45 mins just to get up to the window but there was only 2 others in front of me. Then I was told my results will be sent to my email in two hours. Almost 5 hours later I call them and they say “oh yeah your results say negative” so why did I not get an email about it until two days later? My daughter gets a test now and they said two hours. I call after two hours cuz last time they didn’t do anything until I bugged them. They said they haven’t even ran it yet and they’ll run it. I do know as a healthcare professional how long this stuff takes and I call an hour later after the first call and they said it just got out in and to wait. They’re beyond rude and they take their sweet time with everything. Literally every Walgreens I’ve ever encountered is like this. Both times I went and they all just stand around talking it up instead of doing stuff. I understand service work is super tough cuz I’ve worked it my whole life and service workers aren’t paid enough for the stuff they deal with all day but when you are taking your time and being rude automatically without the customer being hostile at all and they have a ton of stuff to do and deadlines, they’d rather waste time and chat. There’s people like me who need this done asap that’s why I selected the rapid test and I’m promised two hours for results and they screw around. And have the audacity to be rude to me for wondering where my results are. Not my fault you’re taking your sweet time doing nothing and not even running the test
Don’t get your COVID testing done here. I took a long lunch break from work and made an appointment for 12:45, waited in line an hour- once I got to the front of the line I was told to come back after 2 because it was lunch for the pharmacy. I understand everyone needs a break, but why would you not schedule shifts so that someone can cover for a 30 minute break? The line had about 10 cars behind me! Nonsensical.I come back later to do the swab, and I’m told my results will be emailed to me within an hour. Of course, I’ve been waiting since yesterday and still no email. I called, on hold for 30 minutes! Only to be told my results have been emailed already. I ask if they can send the email again, and they say it’s out of their control and give me a number to call. To top off this waste of a day, the number is for a company on the east coast that’s closed for the day 6 hours ago. Get your test done anywhere else if you want peace of mind.
I have called the pharmacy for two days about thirty minutes on hold both days. I need my medication but no one will answer the phone so I can get it mailed to me!! Please answer the phone!!
I went there today to get my 3rd booster shot of the Pfizer vaccine and the pharmacist refused to give it to me because she couldnt get it to bill my insurance company. I got my first 2 shots at the hospital I worked at and it was never billed through the insurance since I got it from work so apparently its an issue. I have my vaccine card and my Washington state covid vaccine certification paper. None of that apparently matter to her and she just stood there refusing to give me a booster shot. With the delta variant and the low vaccination rate, now we have an extra barrier of incompetent people unwilling to give the booster because she was unable to bill my insurance. Talk about frustration.
At this time walgreens has stated to be supoorting the community with free vaccines and stated on website vaccines would not be given without a scheduled visit. At the arrival as instructed to be 15 minutes early in order to get paperwork completed for the appointment. Instead of receiving proper customer service. I was talked to as if getting this shot could be less of their concerns. After waiting in a line for over 30 minutes just to be told I would have to wait additional hour for the shot. These kind of practices will keep one from not getting vaccinated. As pharmaceutical providers this process should be equitable for those who are living within marginalized communities. Its a shame how I was treated in the process. Then someone that came up behind me was actually helped before me with their shot. I came in here ready to help curve COVID-19 by vaccinating myself. Instead was treated as someone who didnt matter. Indeed i could of left, never got the shot and allowed for those i love around me to possibly be exposed to COVID-19. In times such as these Walgreens should consider better practices, cultural responsiveness and hire overhead for those who want to fight against COVID-19. If you have any sense please find a better place to get vaccinated and treated. Healthcare provider or anywhere but this place.
I made an appointment yesterday to get a covid test the next day since I was exposed to it at work and need to be tested before going back. I arrived 5 mins early like they requested, but ended up sitting in the drive thru for almost an hour. When we got up to the window they apologized for the wait and told me that their systems are down and need to close the store. I understand the system being down is out of their control, but instead of an employee coming out to let everyone in line know, they waited until everyone drove up to the window just to turn us away. It was a horrible waste of time. They didn’t let us buy the rapid test to do at home ourselves or anything. It’s just horrible customer service.
Went to Des Moines Walgreens #9423 to use their Fedex service. After waiting more then 17 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. When they did find the time to help me, nobody knew how to accomplish a FedEx rma return. The night manager had no clue if the store even offer that service. After requesting the DM contact number, she refused to provide. Shortly after she attempted to contact the DM, he returned her call. Basically in few words, Walgreens doesnt not provide that service due to not knowing how to print a RMA label to complete a return. Thanks for wasting my time.
I don’t recommend this location! Disrespectful, unorganized and not following mask mandate! I placed an order online for a 8x10 canvas. Once I got the confirmation email that it was ready I headed over. At first the woman could not find my order by my last name. When she asked my first name she looked at me impatiently and confused and said “huh?” In not a very nice way. My name is unusual so I said it again and spelled it for her. She looked in the back and finally found it. Besides this disrespectful attitude towards my name I was disappointed to see the woman was not wearing her mask correctly. She was wearing it under her nose (fully exposing it) which does not serve her or me. I also noticed that employees were not enforcing the mask mandate inside. There were customers with masks lowered and not social distancing. I understand that they can’t be expected police every single person, but several employees walked passed customers with lowered masks and said nothing. On top of all that my order was printed in low quality!No thank you. I won’t be going back and I don’t recommend this location.
I scheduled an appointment for a covid test for 11:15 am I arrived 10 minutes early Waited in line. When I got to the window the lady asked for my name I gave her my name and then they said oh youre not in the system system let me get the pharmacist. Then I waited 10 more minutes then they told thtold me I have to put you in the system come back in 20 minute. Waste of time will not be back
Had to wait for one and half for COVID vaccine. This place is understaffed. Have to wait for so long.And staff is tired and gets rude.
The pharmacy is not good, long line take forever to get to you will tell you to wait for your prescription only to say sorry go drive all the way to tukwila because we are out of stock. Watched 3 peoplewait for the covid vaccine for 30min, and the redhead woman (didn’t get her name) gave it to them and let them leave without monitoring them for 10-15 min to make sure they don’t go into anaphylactic shock (this is a rare reaction but still possible, better to be safe than sorry)
Honestly great store, but Miss Talks a lot could probably talk a like less this time of night when most people just want to lay and go home. Literally heard her complete conversation through out the whole store. All about the people that come in here and steal and there’s nothing she can do about it and they come ever night... she talks soooo much she made the comment we would all be in line all night. Mind you I typed this message with one person in front of me, oh cause his wife fell on some tiles in the drive way that look like house times but there outside. Thankful for Esmeralda and her quick and polite service that checked out 3 people in the time it took chatter box to check out 1.
Service was terrible everyone that works is beyond lazy nobody had masks. I would rate it less but it’s beyond my capacity
Just waited on hold for the pharmacist for 30 minutes. Someone picked up and asked me if i can hold, 5 minutes later they hung up on me.
I really like all of the nice folks who work at this Walgreens location. Everyone from the manager to the sales staff and the pharmacy are great. Most especially Stephanie who works in the Pharmacy as an assistant . She is a vibrant and gracious young woman with the integrity that every human being should respect and desire. If she were running for president, I would vote for her. The Walgreens corporation is so blessed to have Stephanie!!!

My favorite place to shop! Customer service is outstanding and Amandas a keeper for sure. Sweet girl and always has a smile and kind word. Perfect place to pick up cosmetics, hair products, all occasion cards, prescriptions, bath and kitchen items, vitamins, small assortment of canned and paper goods, dairy and other odds and ends. 5 stars for Maria and John. Thanking them for personally taking great care of me. All employees do a good job here and management is well run. The pharmacy gets 5 stars too! Theres a public restroom, wheelchair accessible and plenty of parking available.
The staff is great here. They will open up another register if there are more than a few people in line. Greatly appreciated when I am in a hurry. Never had any problems here other than some shoplifters.
The pharmacist and pharmacist tech are rude and not costumer service savy at all. I came in to return a medication my bf got for me for my seasonal allergies. I explained to the tech if I can return this item that I had opened and tried an hour before. It didnt help my allergies. I wanted to get a different one that the sold on their counter. The pharmacist walks up and the tech tells her that,we gave her the wrong medication. That is not what I told the tech. The pharmacist tries to handle the situation by asking my concerns. I told her about my problem, I felt rush and she kept cutting me off. I told her if I could generic brand of what my doctor recommended, she gave me what was close to it. So when I asked her if I can return the medication my bf brought from them, she told me I could not return it because of the medications main ingredient. I was already annoyed. So I went to the check out arear near the front of the store and asked them if can return the item and they told me yes, I got my refund. I will never go to this pharmacy again, they dont knowo what they doing and do not no how to treat their customers with respect.
The worst managed Walgreens Ive shopped at,ever, in any state. Wont give rain check on advertised items. The pint sized manager tells me to come back on Wednesday or Saturday when they have deliveries, during a PANDEMIC. UNBELIEVABLE. AND THE PHARMACY JUST AS BAD. DIDNT HAVE MY PRESCRIPTIONS FOR OVER THREE WEEKS. HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER WALGREENS, 15 MINUTES AWAY. NEVER WILL I USE WALGREENS AGAIN FOR PRESCRIPTIONS.
The staff are very nice n will help you find what your looking for if you havnt a clue as to which aisle to search.Its bright. Clean. Great section as well.The outside however, they have been dealing with transients hanging out and trashing their parking lot, so theyve taken steps to make their lot less inviting for anyone to hang out.They removed their benches and the donation box .. it has helped greatly.
Good store, shelfs are always full. And they always have some kind of deal going on. Employees are always friendly and patient. Unfortunately it is right on pacific hwy so night time so it brings in a rougher kind of crowd. Good store overall

I don’t know if they have gotten a new pharmacist or what is going on, but this location has gone down hill the last few months. I’ve waited for over an hour for my prescription that was called in 2 days before. I paid in cash and the cashier either didn’t know how to count change or was being obnoxious and going as slow as possible just to make me wait even longer. I’ve been getting my prescriptions here on and off for literally 10+ years and have never had a problem until recently. I’ve canceled all my prescriptions at this location to another store and I will not be returning. It’s obvious, but I do not recommend this store/location and would avoid them unless the world is ending and they are the last store open.
Worst customer service ever, there wasnt a single person at the counter but the cashier told us we had to wait 30 mins before she could even take our passport foto when we we asked why she said they were understaffed... well being understaffed is one thing but taking a passport foto takes maybe about 3 mins? And again like I mentioned before there was not a single soul waiting at the counter, staff needs to be retained. Its not about what you say but how you say it.
All employees do a good job here and management is well run.

Do NOT go to this Walgreens for photos. Or at least just canvases! I went there yesterday to buy a canvas of a picture of my boyfriends late mother for her birthday and I was sort of in a rush so I called before hand to see how long it would take I was originally told 20 minutes over the phone then when I got in the store I ordered the canvas on their computer and it said it would be done within 20 minutes I came back in 20 minutes and the employee was taking her sweet time cutting in out. I told her that’ll be in the back nobody will see it anyway so it doesn’t have to be perfect. Then she didn’t know how to wrap the canvas. At this point I was already irritated because she was taking forever cutting it. The couldn’t rogur bout how to piece it together so I ended up doing it by myself so DO NOT waste your time! I spent $39.99+tax and wanted the frame behind it but I was told I don’t think we have it. Well can you look? So I spent $44 basically after tax for a canvas I had to put together worst $44 I’ve ever spent!
So much was missing from the shelves and the refrigerated section smelled terrible!! Everyone working their seemed great but that chilled section needs to be addressed ASAP

Very BAD Behavior staff in the Pharmacy, Doctor send Prescription from clinic, Pharmacy received the Prescription, When I went to pickup the Prescription, one Asian lady told me give insurance card, I give it to her and i wait 40 plus minutes, she said come tomorrow to pickup the prescriptions, I not understand what is was the issue and that is wrong, very disappointed. i will never used WALL GREEN Pharmacy and never recommended to other.
Called to see if Rx was ready, knowing it could take two days because of having to order meds - automated line told me for four days was still being processed. Finally got ahold of live person and they told me insurance was expired (It was not, they just did not take that insurance). They faxed Rx to another pharmacy for me, but only 3 of the 7 !!! Why do they not have the automated line tell you that there is some kind of problem so you can fix it? All they have to do is have it say you need to speak to a person!
This store has the WORST customer service! The manager wont ask you if you need help, but he sure will circle around you as if your a shop lifter. The cashier is even worse! If they spent as much time dealing with all the meth heads in front of the store as they do walking around looking busy it would be a better store. Its best to go in the early morning, before all the drug deals start! Rite-aid is just down the street....I need to remember that. They have always had excellent customer service and say hello when you walk in. Sigh.
This is My Walgreens and it’s always a nice experience until today. Singhs S. has to be the worst Pharmacist I’ve ever encountered. I stood at the counter for at least 5mins and He and His Assistant continued to work with no acknowledgement that I wasn’t even there!!!After 5mins (no exaggeration) customers started to lineup behind me and still they worked without acknowledging any customers!!! This experience was absolutely the worst!!!You would think after all His years as a Pharmacist He would have learned customer service is important at Walgreens.
Their pharmacy service is the worst. Staffs are lazy and they kept delaying my mom’s medications for daysss. People with heart conditions shouldnt miss any of their medications and these staffs seems to not care at all.
Staff is nice and the store is clean. Area around the store is sketchy at night though so i urge people not to go at that time.
