Late on a Friday night, my wife’s 370Z had grinding brakes. When I found out it was Saturday at 1 PM. We recently moved to Des Moines, WA and decided it needed to be done that day. Website says A2Z closes at 2 PM on Saturday. I had no expectation for them to work past their closing time. I just wanted to leave it there and pick it up on Monday.First thing I notice, is it is a family business. They got me in, ordered the parts and completed the job in a few hours. My wife and I are extremely appreciative as we are both on call for work and we were juggling how we were going to use one car. A2Z resolved that. We will use them as long as we live in King County.

Good mechanics are hard to find. Great mechanics are harder to find and worth their weight in gold. These guys are GREAT. Great people and superior service.I brought our 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee in because it was overheating and is basically running on its last legs. I had only used this place one time and it was months prior and was a pretty simple battery repair issue.So Alex, the owner came right out and met me in the parking lot. I told him I was having some overheating issues. He says well you were having that coolant leak.....yeah that was true. But he REMEMBERED my car from a job he did probably 200 cars ago at least. That in itself was impressive.Then I told him what was happening, and he gave me a couple of suggestions to try and then bring the car back.He could just as easily spent 2 hours trying to diagnose it and then fix it and charged me for the extra labor.However he was clearly trying to save me some money by having me do a little homework to narrow down the problem. That REALLY impressed me.So a couple days later the car really started making some noise and overheating and spraying coolant everywhere so I brought it in and right away he knew it was the water pump. So they gave me a quote and I went on my merry way.Seeing how busy it was I suspected it might get done by the end of the next day or possibly 2 days....I mean they have to order the parts etc. Well to my surprise Maria (owners wife) calls me about 4 hours later saying just wanted to let you know your car is done. I couldnt believe it!I arrived back at the shop and he showed me the trashed water pump which had clearly lost the bearings in the pully and was just trashed.The car runs great, no longer overheating and just might have some life left in her after all.This is a great shop run by a great family, Alex and Maria are just really decent people. A mechanic that actually went out of his way to save me money, remembered the issues with my car from a visit 6 months earlier?! Unheard of. They will always have my business.

A2Z has helped me keep my beloved 04 F150 on the road for years now. From engine an rebuild to simple diagnostic help, the good folks at this shop wont beat around the bush and drag things out. They know what they are doing, but most of all they are honest and fair about their pricing. Ive been using A2Zs services for I believe almost 5 years now. Ive never felt so at home taking my vehicle to get serviced. This is the only Auto repair shop that I will bring my truck to, not even an elite dealership holds a candle to A2Z.

Phenomenal. Drove in from southern California after leaving two separate dealerships with improperly installed parts. After calling three other shops and being turned away for a 30 minute job saying they were too busy I call Alejandro. Soon as I pull in to the lot he walks out to greet me, get the history of the issue, and jumped straight to work. Fixed the problem in 20 minutes the two dealerships could not do in 6 hours. I felt I underpaid him for his phenomenal service.

Brought in a poorly running Mazda 6. Alex was able to diagnosis the issue right away and car running better than ever! Saved us a lot of time and money. Especially from the ridiculous quotes from the Mazda dealer.
