The customer service with Jack and Ian were great! Both were very informative and helpful as I came to exchange a pair of boots and ended up buying two pairs instead because of how helpful and informative Jack was. In a retail environment its hard to find people who actually care and they definitely do! Thanks again for the help!
Angela helped me find a good pair of distressed classic dress shoes for work. She was patient and let me try on a bunch of stuff to find a good fit. I really appreciated her assistance. Even though I found something in store she gave me their catalog and said anything I find in there that might work better is available for delivery to the store to try and see the fit. I appreciated the customer service here and her attitude.
I was at a J&M store in the Cherry Creek shopping Center yesterday in Denver. When I walked in the store I was asked rudely by a lady if she could help me (and offered no greetings). The whole time shopping she was looking at me and another guy followed behind me. When she was helping a customer I turned and she was still looking at me. I went to try on sweaters and asked the gentlemen that was following me from behind for a size small. She told me I was being rude by making a mess and told me to leave the store. I told her she cant just have me leave. She said she owns the store and that she can. I felt so embarrassed being treated so poorly, especially in front of other customers. I have never been treated like that at any store. I felt I was being treated like that because of my race. I would hate to think that but I was the only one in the store that wasnt her race. I can never see myself going back into that store. I have worked in many places of retail. I am very respectful of other peoples merchandise and property. I was absolutely devastated to be treated like a criminal! I really like your brands shoes and would most likely have purchased something had it not been for the rude and vile way I was treated by your companies representative. I have much to many shopping options to ever give your company a penny of my hard earned money. I really hope you put an end to this womans meanness. I hate to think of anyone else being subjected to her ignorance.
I quite literally just left because I wasnt helped. I have spent a lot of money purchasing items from them and am disappointed due to the lack of attention to customers who are helping to keep their lights on. I have spent a lot of money with this company because of the overall quality, design and longevity. But will continue to purchase online due to the blatant disregard for customers walking in and getting prejudged. No remorse for those people losing their jobs due to this online transition, albeit I do feel bad for the people who do provide wonderful service and might lose theirs. Do better!
Update: better experience with the staff over the phone. My first experience may have been a bad day. I’ll consider coming back through.It took me approximately 2 minutes to figure out what the 1 star rating was all about. I was made to squabble over half of the price of a defective product repair. The money was not the issue; the trust in the brand is the issue. I will not spend money at this store nor refer colleagues to this location as long as Nick is the manager.
