DO NOT BUY ANYTHING CUSTOM FROM THIS LOCATION! I used to be a huge fan of Lids (Fanatics) and up until yesterday have never had a bad experience. Unfortunately, that changed when I visited the Cherry Creek location on 7/6. I went in to buy an MLB hat and had them add some custom embroidery. I brought my hat to the counter, picked out my embroidery, paid, and continued to shop around the store. When my hat was finished I noticed that there were two hats sitting by the embroidery machine. One was a 7 (my size) and one was a 7 1/2 (not my size). The guy at the counter handed me the 7 1/2 with the embroidery I chose. When I told him that I brought him the size 7 and not the size 7 1/2, he panicked, and told me I said size 7 1/2. I have been wearing a size 7 hat for 20 years, there is zero chance I said 7 1/2. This was clearly his mistake. Whats worse is that he refused to redo it and told me that since it was custom, there was no refunds. Its a $70 hat, not the end of the world but after this experience I will never buy anything from Lids or Fanatics again. They could have simply owned up to it and made it right but instead they chose to treat me like I was lying to them in the store. I would caution anyone customizing a hat here to not let the employees out of your sight!

The store is never open when they say they are and they left on the security sensor tags on both hats I bought there.

I have been shopping here for over a year. Nick and Thaddeus are amazing. Always get the product I want and I love to get all my stuff embroidery done comes out great. I recommend this store to any real sport appeal fans in Denver. Great store great experience

This location is Permanently Closed. Store was there the logo is still up. Everything is cleared out inside and gated. I had to select star rating. I chose one star because I drove a very long distance after looking this location up on google and the malls website. However all Lids are pretty awesome back home.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! $65 for this custom stitching. And its crooked. Not to mention it took 3 visits to the store and speaking with 3 different employees before the work was even started. Ill be taking my business elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

While attempting to exchange a hat I bought a week ago for the exact same hat, but in a different size, I was told by the manager Chris at the cherry creek location that I had to pay an additional $15 dollars because the hat wasnt on sale anymore?!?! I called customer service to file a complaint and was given a link to write this review. I will never do business with LIDS again and Im very disappointed in the way the exchange policy only looks out for the business and not the consumer. Buyer Beware !!!! Now im stuck with a hat that doesnt fit..... will also report this to the BBB!!! What a terrible manager and system!

Was getting a custom embroidered hat. They told me to come back in 45 minutes for the hat to be finished, when I came back they had not started on my hat at all because they needed me to pick some colors. They did not tell me this before I left. They also took down my number before I left and did not call me. So I came back 45 minutes later to find out they had not started. Good hats, terrible employees. Thaddeus was who helped me.

I recently bought a championship hat from lids. I left the store i got the hat dirty and i took it to the dry cleaners because the instructions stated to do so. well when i got the hat back the logo fell off. great so i had the cleaners reattach it. i notified lids online support and they stated that it should of went thru there dry cleaners and there is special instructions that i had to follow online. first of all I was never told of a special dry cleaners by the store rep or told to go online on how to clean a hat. they told me since i went to another dry cleaners they were not going to exchange my hat where they gave me a messed up hat i paid 30 dollars for worst place ever never going back

Can I give zero star? Just had the worst shopping experience of all the lids stores Ive been to ( I have bought 25+ hats from lids from all over the United States). This guy Ben (the name was given by the store manager named Brian), showed us some really bad attitude when we attempted to process a refund of a just-bought hat in order to get a total of two hats (due to their buy one get one 50% deal). When we informed him that we would like to do a refund for the just-bought hat and buy it again plus another hat, he started to cry saying why didnt we make up our mind earlier, and went on to nag about doing this before close was annoying etc. Ben just showed his unprofessionalism at work, and to my opinion really hurt Lids reputation to some loyal customers like me and my friend.

If i could give zero i would. go to Aurora mall and unfortunately fanatcs bought lids and they are just as bad

I AM SO PISSED WITH THIS STORE RIGHT NOW ! I WENT TO PICK UP MY HATS THAT I HAD ORDERED.I WANTED 1 EMBROIDED.THE GUY DOES THAT AND THEN WHILE HE IS SNIPPING THE THREADS HE PUTS A HOLE IN MY BRAND NEW HAT . IT IS RUINED BECAUSE ITS A DRI-FIT ! NOW I HAVE A TARHEELS HAT WITH SCISSOR HOLES IN IT !

Employees were very rude when asked questions about inventory and sizes it seems to me like they get mad when customers come inn maybe they should hire people that really want to work and help customers
