Good little donut shop. Get the chipotle sauce on the breakfast sandwiches, it’s good! Also got the buttermilk bar, which is like my favorite the old fashion, but better. Need to enhance the experience though if they want to compete with other trendy donut shops. Had fast friendly service with a smile. It’s worth a try.

Very popular Saturday late morning. The people working there were super friendly to customers and each other, which is always so nice. The donuts looked amazing, but opted for a croissant, which wasn’t bad. Definitely enjoyed the iced dark roast coffee. Look forward to trying this place out again!

There are still a couple things I need to try off the menu but i am sometimes be basic and just get what i know i like. Which so far is everything i have tried from Wake N Bake! They are also so nice and accommodating. Its clean and everything is SO fresh! The donuts are full and fluffy. I also love that they have more than donuts. Its hard not to eat here all the time since my work is next door but Im okay with that.

I stopped by this shop on my way out of Denver for some breakfast and it was the best start to my 12 hour road trip! I love how they display their donuts, the variety that they offer, as well as fun options. The prices are very affordable ranging $1.25-2 per donut and they offer sausage rolls!! As a Texan I was pretty excited to see this as an option and their take on it was EXCELLENT. Good dough and a great hefty sausage that doesn’t skimp. Good crumb on the donuts. Pro tip: get the cream cheese croissant and they will warm it up!!

Used to come here for a few years. I miss the hours and the donuts. I used to come here at midnight or 3am and always get fresh donuts. I really liked the night crew. They where the donuts that raised my expectation for donuts. The new hours are ridiculous and because of my schedule I cant even come in if I wanted too. But the last time I went the donuts where just not the same anymore. What I mean by that is they used to be godly fluffy on the inside and had a nice almost crunch on the outside. Prices change too. Things change I guess.

I love this place. The iced caramel mocha is my favorite and the donuts are amazing. The apple fritter is sooooo good.I love the kolaches as well, but unfortunately was disappointed today.Ordered (Doordash) the sausage and cheese but they were out of those, so I received the sausage, cheese and jalapeño instead, no big deal. Was still super excited.But unfortunately the kolaches I received were so different from every other time I have had them.Super thick dough. Looked nothing like their kolaches normally do.Just not what I was expecting and I feel bad for being disappointed, but it was just a let down.Not sure why they were different today.

Yum! The donuts have great texture and taste! They have a creme brulee one that is really interesting with the crunch on top. Also the Denver wrap is pretty good.. Im usually not into wraps but everything is done fresh and its pretty darn tasty.

This shop is dangerously close to my house, which tests my self control on a regular basis.Truly, the best donuts around. Friendly staff and solid breakfast sandwiches to boot. Whenever we have guests in town this is a top recommendation for early morning starts. Highly recommend you check it out.

Always fresh, always quick, and staff is always friendly. The cinnamon crunch is the best donut! The breakfast sandwiches are also really good, and nice to have to give you a little more substantial breakfast with your donut. Definitely check this place out!

Terrible experience for a first time person. Walked in before nine and they had nearly zero donuts. Ordered a breakfast sandwich that took nearly 20 minutes to make and it was stone cold. The eggs were filmy like they had been undercooked and found a lovely hair right in the middle. Shame because this place had great reviews but I won’t be back and I’d suggest others to do the same.

My friend and I went for a quick breakfast before some other adventures around the city. We tried the donut holes, an apple fritter, and a maple bar thing. The donut holes were fine but nothing special. The other two donuts were overly sweet to us and just not worth it. We didn’t finish them and opted for a different breakfast. Aside from the food, the woman working the counter seemed very annoyed that we were trying to figure out what to try. We let other customers go in front of us while we decided so we didn’t hold up the line. She offered zero help and just kept trying to rush us along.

It is excellent and I love the bagels. This could be the perfect donut for the right person, especially if you aren’t immune to things being “too sweet”. The 4 stars is personal opinion since I’ll always be a Shipleys man at heart, it’s just the bestest, but there is less icing on these making it better when the sweet tooth isn’t quite as aggressive that day. I’ll keep ordering especially for the bagels.

By far hands down best donuts in town. Stay away from the chains when you can buy from a locally owned shop. Always fresh, excellent selection and very friendly staff. In the business we do, we need to have our meetings early in the morning at around 5 AM. There are not many choices of donuts in the area that open before 5 AM. I have used Wake & Bake on two occasions. Their ordering process is seamless and their delivery with Grubhub was prompt. I would recommend this place to those who are awake before everyone else gets going. Great Job!!!

I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and they gave me a grocery store bagel and a packet of cream cheese. The breakfast sandwich I got was good enough but pricey.

Always is out of some sort of food item. management needs to learn how to do some basic inventory tracking and stocking. asked for 3 different items on the menu and they said they were out of different things. if youre not here 1st thing in the morning I would skip this place and go somewhere else

This is an amazing restaurant! Their breakfast sandwiches look, feel, and taste like a breakfast sandwich should. Einsteins Bagels, Delectable Eggs, and any other breakfast place can eat a @#$& when it comes to this joint. Competitive prices, great food and pastries that actually fills me up makes this one of my favorite restaurants to order from. The only down part is when ordering from this place via GrubHub their full menu which includes their tasty 😋 breakfast sandwiches may or may not be displayed.

I randomly ordered from this place this morning and was absolutely blown away! Donuts are absolutely delicious and their breakfast sandwiches actually filled my teenagers up! I love the option to add veggies to the sandwich and the fresh juices are worth every penny! Trust me get the 20oz carrot/orange juice it’s spectacular!!!! Also the coffee was so tasty no cream or sugar needed when eating with the donuts. This place absolutely blows any chain or grocery bakery out of the water. Will be our go to place when our sweet tooth kicks in!

Great little donut shop, much better than its predecessor, Winchells.

This is one I keep coming back to. All things breakfast eggable to go. The donuts are memorable and delicious and they call for you to come back and have some more. This time I brought the hubs and he agrees best donuts in the area!

I allows gauge a good doughnut shop by their plain cake doughnut and the nuances of its flavoring. The plain doughnut at Wake & Bake great. I recently had their protein bowl which was amazing as well. I will continue to return.

Use to come here all the time when it was Winchells, then the name changed and everything started going downhill. Quality went down, no longer 24 hours (which is understandable), yet the price went up. Doesnt make much sense to me so i will be on the look out for a new Winchells location.(Edit: not just an opinion, facts. Fresh donuts 24/7 vs fresh donuts the first few hours yall are open. Id say thats quality downgrade, then price and time is self explanatory. Didnt think i needed to explain this.)

This is the best quick breakfast Ive ever had in Denver. The donuts are amazing but the breakfast sandwiches, kolaches, fresh squeezed orange juices, and pastries are equally delicious if not better. Theres usually a short line but it moves quick and is worth the wait. The staff is so nice and speedy too.

Really not a fan of their chai; it tasted mostly of milk and quite sweet (Im use to the spicy version you see in Denver often). The wait for a breakfast sandwich at 9am on a Friday was quite long- 15 minutes. Not a lot of indoor space. Donuts were fine. My partner did love his chorizo bagel sandwich.

To go donuts and sandwiches are packaged extremely poorly and ruins the experience of eating. Could do basic things like use tissue to wrap donuts so they dont all smear one one another. Also, the everything bagle barely has any seasoning on it.

Hidden gem of South Broadway! At first I thought this place was just a re-branded Winchells, but its so much more and so much better than that. Its its own unique shop with interesting flavors and classic combinations. The savory selection is extra fun as well if you dont only want to go with sweet treats. I love the buttermilk bars (either maple or glazed!) and the peanut butter jelly donut. Dont miss this spot!

Was better when it was Winchell’s Doughnuts,Went there for over 26yrs and couldn’t have been happier with the hours. All night long for the late night walk ins. Name changed changed so did prices. Went to the new joint for a bit and had to go back 3 different times because of a raw cinnamon roll. They looked at me crazy the last time going in like I robbed them for a doughnut. Made me laugh. I used to go in and every time come out with 25+ doughnuts, Not anymore. Had to find another Winchell’s. Hearing that the breakfast foods are terrible too.Well things change. Hardly ever go in there anymore.

I came at 2 am because their sign said they were open at 1am. The sign was flipped to close. The brunette girl working in the back looked straight at me and went back down to her phone. I work overnights so I was super excited to see a business that was available for the night crawlers. I would love to come and try the food, but the actual hours for delivery vs takeout should be listed.

I love Wake & Bake!! Ive been here a handful of times as I live just a few blocks away. I just tried their maple raised donut today and OH MY! It is SO good. I always get their carrot and orange juice and Im in love with it. Highly recommend. Outstanding customer service too!

The wraps aka burritos are below average. No flavor and mostly tortilla. Tried all of them at a company meeting. Preparation of the Ingredients inside was mediocre also. A sausage patty or egg sliced in half between three layers of tortilla.

Even though I worked for starbucks this place is quickly becoming my favorite coffee joint. I love that they use paper based straws. They may be a bit weak by the end but they do the job and save some turtles. Win win in my opinion. I order off of grubhub a lot. One time they ran out of the doughnut I ordered. Instead of just sending what they did have they gave me something close to what I ordered, and then gave me some doughnut holes. (my puppy loved the one or two I gave her and says thank you). They also sent a sweat apology message. It really felt like they cared about me as a customer. If i could give more than 5 stars I would. So far the only complaints I have, i assume, are related to covid supply chain issues. I would recommend this company to any one.

Definitely the best donuts Ive tried in Denver so far! Got a Kalache, plain glazed donut, blueberry cake donut, and chocolate/Bavarian cream eclair -- all fresh, great textures, and flavorful without being sickeningly sweet.

Staff seemed untrained and didnt understand what we wanted in our order. Two items were not as ordered. They were nice about fixing it but it took a while and another customer came in also complaining of an incorrect order. Food was pretty average.

I really wanted to like this place.Someone brought some in for work and the glazed donut I had was really good.Came with my wife 2 different times. First time they were extremely picked over and we only had 4 choices. The cinnamon rolls were a letdown. Next time, I went early and the selection was fine, but it was hit or miss on the donuts. The twist was great but the chocolate was meh.Oh and they have kolaches, but both times we went they all looked overcooked, almost burned. So we didnt even bother to try them.

Super nice and helpful staff, but almost every single donut (we ordered 11) were undercooked with straight up raw dough in the middle, which was super disappointing. I hope they are able to cook them properly for future customers.

While the name is for sure a draw for the young trendy folks in Denver, the donuts really were not any different than the Winchells, I grew up going to. They just cost more. They are good. Nothing really special. The coffee on the other hand was not that good for the price. I ordered the iced Blackout and it was very very very weak. Watered down, and not a whole lot of caffeine effect. 7-11 coffee gives me more energy. The are new so maybe they can work out the kinks. They will be successful just because of their name and look. Not their products.I have no clue what the other reviewers are talking about, maybe they came on a better day then I did. It was all very mediocre. Spend less and get the same product at the grocery store bakery.

They have great online ordering options and the pickup is super easy. Delicious donuts! We tried about six different kinds and they’re all super tasty. Will be back to try more!

Dropped by in the morning for their Kolaches and donuts and they didn’t disappoint! Everything we ordered was fresh and you could taste the quality. Employees were friendly and although there was a line of customers, they were quick with service. Can’t wait to come back again!

I looked through the reviews prior to ordering here and noticed one guy who rated poorly solely based on him driving by the restaurant.. that guy made me want to order from here out of spite, and well.... Im glad I did! These donuts are incredible!!!! I got the half dozen and let your staff pick them and boy did they! So many good flavors at a much cheaper price than some of the other big donut shops in town (cough cough voodoo.) Anyway. You guys got a loyal customer in me and you can thank that dude who just drove by for it!

The staff is rad. The food is better. Unfortunately the espresso machine was down the whole time I was there so I dodnt get to rate the coffee, but the food was unbelievable. The donuts were amazing even for someone like me who doesnt often do sweets.

I have yet to eat here and I’m not sure I will. Every night on my drive home from work, I see the entire back of house staff working without masks and in close proximity. I trust that you make sure your employees don’t come to work sick, but with a store that is 90% windows, I would expect employees to take appropriate precautions, especially as back of house food handlers. Hopefully I will see this change so I can finally come in and try your enticing food.

I have seen this place a few times now and decided to give it a try today. Donuts are good enough. Comparable to your average donut shop. I was extremely disappointed with the coffee I got. I got a white mocha and was content with my morning until my first sip. I’m not sure if maybe it was a fluke cup but it is absolutely awful. Don’t recommend.
