I’d only ever been to the Voodoo Doughnut locations in Portland, OR before coming here. This location on Broadway is actually more spacious than either Portland location. A big, open room that gets a lot of sunlight.Donuts were on point. They’re a bit decadent, so don’t try to eat this just as a snack. It’ll fill you up. Staff was friendly enough. Dining areas and bathroom were cleanly. Only criticism is the music was a bit loud (though I know that’s kind of their style).

First time visit to Voodoo Doughnuts. Found this place while looking for a coffee and a dessert. It was later in the afternoon, the friendly person behind the counter promptly started brewing a pot of coffee, after I asked how fresh the current batch would be.I had an apple fritter to go along with. The fritter was so big, it would almost qualify as a meal in itself. This is a quirky place with a great vibe. I can only highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Always a great experience. We love to end our date nights at Voodoo! Sort of a tradition. My favorite is the blunt or just the basic maple bar. My husband lives for the Memphis mafia or the apple fritter.

Ive always been more of a Blue Star fan when in Portland, but these are pretty dam good and they are local to Colorado. Cool shop, great donuts, and no need to hop on a plane. Life is good 😁

Voodoo seems to be one of those larger city donut places where theres a huge menu of donuts. Youll be wowed by the offerings (captain crunch on a donut; neat), but the basics are good-not-great. Decent old fashioned. Basic glazed raised is fine but kind of... lifeless. And thats the foundation on which all the other creative items are built. In my opinion/rankings I put this behind Yummys in Lakewood.👉 Great cup of black coffee.

So many different flavors to choose from. Spicy, sweet, chocolaty, savory (ie with bacon). Early or late, this is the place to go for a flavor bomb.

Atmosphere is perfectly funky. I got a few stickers ($1 each) & a metal water bottle ($10) and the Voodoo Dozen box. There was a Portland cream which was amazing. The grape ape yeast ring actually did taste grapey! The dirt one was a yeast ring with oreos on top. Marshall Mathers obviously had mini MMs on top of glazed yeast ring. Oh captain my captain is yeast ring with Capn Crunch on top. Weird but it worked lol Chocolate coconut was chocolate cake donut with coconut on top. Blueberry cake & sprinkle cake & Homer & raised glazed were all good & tasted as youd expect. The Voodoo doll looks cool & tastes good. Now lets talk about the bacon maple bar ... if you like bacon on your Donuts then youre going to be in love - crispy bacon on top of maple bar & its heaven. If you dont like bacon on your Donuts then youre just wrong! Then theres the maple blazer blunt... omg this was my surprise fave - I ate this over the sink bc it was covered in so much sugar & it was absolutely amazing. Crunchy but not too sweet. I couldnt tell if it was covered in brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon sugar or a combo of these. But either way, it worked. Lets face it, its hard to get a doughnut wrong. These were great & the marketing is genius to make them kitch. Theres a photo booth in the restaurant. Theres an area to buy swag & their prices are very reasonable! I love the chandeliers hanging all over! The staff was pleasant & helpful. All wearing masks. I will be going back on my next trip. Maybe Ill try the Colfax location & try ordering a dozen of the other special doughnuts they offer.

I decided To walk into the Broadway location after craving a Raised Glaze donut. It was absolutely delicious. I’ve been to the Colfax location many times in the past but it’s been a good minute. This location is just as clean and delicious. Also, they have a large seating area for families and big groups which I thought Was cool. Great job Voodoo. Keep making those glazed because they are the best in the west!!

Had Voodoo as our wedding cake and could not have been happier! Fantastic service and the doughnuts were a huge hit with our guests! Absolutely delicious!

First time trying Voodoo Doughnut (anywhere).We ordered online and had curbside delivery.We got the Voodoo Dozen (they choose the variety) and they make fantastic raises doughnuts! Some liked the maple with bacon. Done liked the plain glazed. Fun place to get doughnuts for the experience alone, at least once.The voodoo dozen we got was somewhere around $28. This location is on a one way street so plan accordingly.

Stopped off here during a road trip from Cali to New York and can easily say this is one of the best donut shops in the US. I watched everything being made fresh in the back. The jelly glazed donut blew my pants off. Im back in New York and miss this place dearly. Nothing here compares. Not even The Doughnut shop in NYC. PLEASE OPEN IN NYC!!!!

I really enjoyed our stop at Voodoo. Not only were the donuts both fresh and totally delicious, but the staff who helped us was truly fantastic she was warm and friendly and helped us navigate the menu as it was first time. She was eager to help make our first time enjoyable. That type of service makes a huge difference!!

Amazing place with a soo many options of donuts. The coffee was the best I had in Denver. I had never tried the bacon maple bar, but it was a good experience. The donuts are nice and soft exactly the way i like them. I prefer my donuts soft and light. I would love to return to Denver and try other flavours for sure. They have soo many different donuts to offer and the store has a good vibe. The staff are friendly. Great experience.

I much prefer this location over the other. The drive is even a bit further. Same options, vegan, and non vegan, but never get harassed by shady characters hanging around outside like we do at the other location. Much better area, and room inside to enjoy your donuts and coffee.

First time stopping in, at about 1pm it wasnt busy just 1-2 other customers. They have two tall rotating display cases to show each of the donuts they have available. (some are not PG so if youre kids are good readers Id suggest they dont look too closely). We got the Grape Ape and The Homer ...these donuts are DELICIOUS! I get the hype now. The prices are more than youd pay at a typical donut shop but youre paying for the quality! Highly recommend!

So much variety and they’re all tasty. Open early. Lots of employees to serve you. Online pick up is always an option. You must try these fun donuts if you haven’t done so. The coconut guava is super exotic and yummy!

We stopped in Voodoo Doughnut on our trip to Denver because of my fiancé following them on Instagram. It was definitely worth the stop to be able to order a variety of individual doughnuts to try. She loved the mango doughnut with the Tang dusted on top and the grape doughnut was my personal favorite. The location was convenient, the staff was friendly and the line moved quickly. Highly recommend!

This place has seriously good donuts. Not only donuts tasted good but the interior is super cool. They displayed all donuts they offered in the glass and it helped me choose the donut that I wanted. If you are a donut maniac, I recommend you to visit this place. Must Go!

Not only do they have the best fesh donuts in town they have incredible service. I ordered a raspberry filled and the Baker must have forgot to fill it. I went back to the counter and pointed this out and the staff quickly came back with 2 raspberry filled to replace the 1 I bought and profusely apologized. One of the few restaurants I have been to recently that truly understands what customer service means.

I have usually had the leftover donuts from someone elses 5 gallon bucket, so this was my first time actually in the store. I thought the atmosphere was pretty cool, but felt a little empty. I heard they used to have arcade games in there... That totally may have helped. Good donuts!

I’ve been looking forward to visiting a Voodoo Doughnut shop for a while. However, as a resident of Georgia where we have no direct access to such, I had to wait until I traveled to a state lucky enough to boast the presence of a local shop. Imagine my surprise on discovering TWO options in Denver.We only tried three different flavors, but they were all excellent. The atmosphere of the store itself was eclectic, festive, and comfortable. The staff was awesome, and we had a very enjoyable and friendly conversation with an employee who told us all about the company and the neighborhood.I’m excited about someday seeing one of these shops somewhere near our home.

New location, great donuts! Nice clean modern location right on Broadway. I like the dirt and an old fashion my son is all about the voodoo doll. If you have not been here you must try!

We can all agree donuts are amazing. While I can’t have them often, when I do, I love ‘em! We got a couple donuts @ 2pm, so not the freshest but definitely good. In the end, they’re donuts and donuts are good. 🤷🏽‍♂️

We came here after having some lunch over at Kikis Japanese (check out my review for that place because we think it was delicious) and it was worth the travel we had to wade through to get there. The staff is very kind, the doughnuts are DELICIOUS and the atmosphere is great. They are even serving up cute little pride doughnuts for pride month! Honestly, we were happy to finally go here after hearing al the praise it gets and it really does live up to it. I highly recommend the Grape Ape if you want something sweet, yet subtle. Seriously, go here. It really is worth the trip, even if youre from a different part of the state (like us being from Loveland). Go! Enjoy the doughnuts! Do yourself a favor and stuff your face with them!

Awesome selections of Donuts well worth it. One of a kind, and different selection. Only problem was, no perfect 5 star, due to the guy telling us one was filled with custard and it was not, just breading. (Circled the one we were lied to). Besides that good establishment.

Dude! These doughnuts are so good. I can’t believe how many options there are too. All of the ones we’ve tried were great! They are open 24 hours which is insane! The eclectic decor is different and very interesting too. Great photo ops and good donuts are expected. Service from multiple servers was wonderful when we went. Trying to find a parking space is the only complaint, but you are in the city so it’s expected. Can’t wait to go back!

Let me tell you a story. There once was this amazing doughnut shop on the west coast, magic happened and they grew and spread to a lovely town in Colorado. I love this place so much I travel from my home state to visit the lovely new store in the lovely town in Colorado. And spent over 200 bucks on stuff for the friends and family at home (in Illinois btw)Its worth the trip

Best themed donuts anywhere! And yummy? Yes, beyond belief! Go early or very late and there is little if any wait. Explore this part of Broadway but stop in for a sweet treat. The Voodoo Doll is a favorite of our family but you can’t go wrong at this classy location.

Oh hell yes. Love Voodoo Doughnuts and the new location is big and bright. Took a friend that had never been and the people were super helpful, of course they are at Colfax too 🙂. Its nice to have a shorter wait and get our bounty. We drive across town to get our fix and its well worth it. Maybe there will be a third location closer to me in the future? One can only hope. Doughnuts are the best so go christen the new location!

The hype is real on this one. I was super skeptical walking in. Even as I ordered I felt like I was going to dislike the doughnuts. Boy was I wrong. I tried the chocolate oreo peanut butter donut and it was incredible. Best donut Ive had in my whole life. Hands down.Sorry I even doubted you guys. I will definitely be back before this trip is over and will forever hold every other pastry to this standard. Thanks for changing my life!😜😍

The place was clean and service was awesome. The doughnuts were all good in there own way. They have so many flavors. My wife really liked the grape. My favorite was the double chocolate.

Variety is the naughty spice of life. The only thing that could do to make it better is if they had tiny little donuts in massive packs of 40 or so to try them all. Deeeelicious.

For the longest time I thought this place was over-hyped,Im glad I was completely wrong,the 🍩 are extremely good and you can find some really sweet and not so sweet.The service was top of the line,the workers are really helpful and patient with you if are overwhelmed by the amount of flavors they have. Wow. The guy who greeted us was very friendly & helpful. We got a bacon maple bar, something with shredded coconut, and a Portland cream. Man, were they good. Plus I respect a place with staff wearing nerdy shirts and Nintendo cakes out for display.

Put in an order 24 hrs ahead for them to call me ten minutes before I was supposed to go pick it up (we were already on our way) saying they couldn’t do it. I’ve never had an issue with it before, seemed like they got new management who isn’t quite sure what they’re doing yet. Still gave two stars because it used to be good.

Big selection of unique donuts and pastries - I loved the Homer and the Maple Blunt! Their extended hours and charming air make this place a must for sweet tooth visitors.

Parking is difficult, but the donuts are very good and the service was fast! They have a menu with pictures outside to help people decide before they get in line. The donuts are not cheap but this is a unique place with flavors you wont find elsewhere. And the donuts are very good.

The Donuts were ok! Well made and fresh. Got a good mix of the classic and the more interesting ones. Fun concepts for the donuts. However, I thought they would be a bit more balanced for flavor instead of crazy sweet!I thought it would be a little more beyond just regular donut fare that had some fun names and shapes. Theres a lot of hype for voodoo so maybe my expectations were overblown.Im not a big donut fan so maybe if you are youll enjoy it more!

Being from the South, we eat Krispy Kreme in my house! Voo Doo you do a doughnut so well!!! The ginger peach is to die for! The raised glazed, soft chewy and so good!!!
