Save your time and money, first appointment the doctor talked for over an hour explaining on possibilities of what could be wrong and then at the end said he can’t even try and prescribe anything. Scheduled my second appointment due same issues getting much worse, the doctor called me and ended up hanging up on me. Very unprofessional. Plus good luck finding parking.

Dr Alderete is the best optometrist I’ve had! He is so knowledgeable and it’s apparent that he truly loves what he is doing. He walks you through every step of the exam, and engages in quality conversation as well. Jennifer is always so friendly and so helpful, and her cheerful presence really adds to the overall experience. I really can’t say enough wonderful things about the entire experience every time I go!

Highly recommend Dr. Alderete! I recently moved to Denver, and chose his office off of the easy walking distance from my downtown apartment. He is very passionate about getting the right prescription for your needs, and explained every step of the diagnostic process. I learned more from one visit to his office than in the past 15 years of going to my old eye doctor! His secretary is also very nice and helpful!

Dr. Alderete is the best!He really takes the time to ensure your prescription is correct and his attention to detail gave me crystal clear vision for the first time in my life! Absolutely the best optometrist Ive ever been to. Ive never had any doctor spend so much time making sure I understood everything we were looking at. Dr. Alderete truly loves his job, and this fact is abundantly clear. Couldnt recommend him more.

Dr. Alderete is a kind and wonderful human being. I broke my glasses frames a couple weeks back and have been unable to get new ones due to the shutdown. I have low vision and without corrective lenses my everyday life and job are affected. Every place I called they were 5-6 weeks out including Dr. Alderete. I spoke with Jen and explained my situation. Such a sweet lady. She was able to get me an appointment Friday at 6:15 (after they had closed). When arriving Dr. Alderete was the only person in the building. He checked me in and out. He went above and beyond what he had to do help me out. He mad sure that I left that day being able to see. He put my old lenses in a set of frames until my new came in. This was one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. Highly recommend Dr. Alderete and his team.

I was in Denver for a trip, and the nose pad of my glasses fell off. Walgreen’s was out of repair kits and I needed them fixed ASAP. They were so nice, able to fit me in, replaced both nose pads, and made sure the rest of my glasses were in good shape! Lovely service.

Dr. Alderete is an incredible eye doctor. He really knows his stuff, and the amount of time he takes with each patient really shows how passionate he is about his profession and how much he cares for his patients. He even makes time to volunteer his expertise around the community! Top notch doctor and person, I would highly recommend him.

Absolutely incredible. I have terrible eyes and have suffered through some tough times in law school and being a litigator. Dr. Alderete is one of the only optometrist that has figured out the axis and diameters I need, understands how my eyes work, and gives frank, clear advice. He is energetic because he loves what he does. And he is unbelievably good at it. I wouldnt think twice about going to see him.

I waited until the last minute to get contacts for a trip. Not only did Dr. Alderete make time for me (after hours) for a fitting, his secretary Jennifer hooked me up with some trials so I wouldnt be blind in Uganda. Great patient care!

I have tried other optometrists that were more conveniently located. Dr. Alderete is worth the drive and traffic. He doesnt rush you through and is incredibly knowledgeable. You are in great hands with him.

I flew into Denver and had an on going issue with my eye. I called the office and the receptionist was very helpful and even got me an appointment. Once in the office I can see the place was clean and well run. Dr. Raul Alderete discovered my eye issue and corrected it. I wish I lived in the area I would use this Dr as my Optometrist.

One of the best eye doctors Ive seen...ever. Dr. Raul Alderete took his time and completely fixed my contact lenses issue that Id been suffering from for two years. I am very happy and would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone who is sick and tired of that Lenscrafters experience. Very knowledgeable and deeply concerned about his patients wellbeing and care. Dr. Raul was early to take me back and wouldnt let me go until we went through everything thoroughly.

Dr. Alderete is very approachable and knowledgeable. My prescription was accurate and I was able to get great glasses for the cost of my insurance co-pay.

I Crystal Garcia think he is a downtown secret. Well I guess not anymore. Thanks google! Any who I went in on a afternoon after having a couple (exactly 2) drinks with lunch thinking my eye test wouldnt be a issue. Came in the office, greated by a lovely lady at the desk. Filled out my eye med paper work n went to the back super fast before I even got to fill out the questionare. He sat me down, washed his hands as he introduced himself and asked if I was good. We started the basic test for glasses and he asked me about two minutes in the test if I had been drinking. Well like I said I had two drinks before I went in but.... I had brushed and it had been at least a hour plus a cough drop I always have handy. Any who he sees that my eyes are not adjusting to the light as normal and I say yes to the drinking question. Well kids ... just two beers.... no vision test. He saved me $200.00. I could of said yes to whatever prescription looked right to me and he could of been like your problem. He is a honest man!!! Honesty in buisness where now days its all about that money! I love this man and will send everyone I know to him because after two broke fames and contacts galore he is worth looking for parking downtown his staff is soooo sweet!

I go out of my way to see Dr Alderete. Hes one of the few optometrist who isnt also a salesman!
