I would give this 2.5 stars… my order was wrong (ordered light mayo and it was smothered in mayo that the bread was a little soggy) and there was barely any mozzarella on it :( it was mostly tomato and mayo… I was expecting so much more based on reviews! Also portions are mediocre… for the price it should come with a bag of chips or some sorta side. Left me hungry!Friend’s order was good but really simple for the price (turkey and tapenade on bread, and my sandwich and one tea for almost $30 with tip…) but i understand it’s the area of Denver.Order took 15-20 min which was weird considering it wasn’t too busy.Contrary to other reviews the staff seemed friendly enough!
A nice little sandwich shop. The guy behind the counter (you get blond ) was super nice.Food came out fast and was pretty tasty. I did find the prosciutto a little too salty even for prosciutto . I had the Bukin .The server (female longer dark)? hair efficient but not particularly friendly or nice even tho she forgot the drink.I liked it and think the prices are typical for the area and reasonable.
This is a great place to get your coffee and breakfast. I got myself a Mocha Cafe 16 Oz. The prices are reasonable. You can additional shots for just 50 cents more, which is great value.Their burritos are very well made and delicious. This is place highly recommended. Their barista, Annie, was extremely kind and friendly.P.S. They have very strong wifi.
Food and drinks were phenomenal. Our issue was with the customer service. The guy at the register wearing the French beret was rude. My girlfriend ordered a burrito with bacon and he said it wasn’t available. She instead ordered a panini and she asked if she could add avocado and before she could finish he blurted “oh my god” and rolled his eyes. It made both of us feel so uncomfortable as if we were inconveniencing him for having to press an extra button to add avocado. Near the end of the transaction he realized the disrespect he had given and made a statement, “it gets hectic on Saturday’s, sorry I’m an asshole”. Such an uncomfortable conversation.
I’ve been to this place 5 times and due to the high rating I kept thinking I was having one off bad experiences. I have reasonable expectations for a small coffee shop. Every time had been either bad or at least a little off putting. Most times employees have seemed rushed and were rude. Twice when I walked in I was rudely yelled at to leave and only one person in at a time due to social distancing. I understand the limit but it’s difficult to see how many people are in there and rudely yelling is unnecessary. The food is bad and takes FOREVER! It appears they literally just microwave their breakfast sandwiches and burritos and it TAKES no less that 15 minutes for them to make it. My “the usual” breakfast sandwich was like half an egg, about a millimeter of ham in a hamburger bun. Breakfast burritos are small and are hot like lava from the microwave. The coffee is fine but also takes like twice the amount of time other coffee shops take to make. End of day, I’m shocked by the good rating because there are many superior coffee spots nearby.
One of the best caramel lattes I’ve had in Denver. Amazing sandwiches and pastries, and the staff were so nice. Highly recommend this place!!!
We’ve been here a few times. Sandwiches and coffee are pretty good - service is okay. We’ve had 2 bad experiences out of maybe 5 visits.Once we walked in on an employee angrily talking to a customer which made us and others uncomfortable - hard to tell who was right or wrong in the instanceNext time we had an order get forgotten - one sandwich came out but not our other. When we asked about it, they got mad at us saying they had a ton of orders. That’s fine, but we’d like our sandwiches to come out together. Another 10 minutes later the other sandwich came out and it was incorrect… it was a duplicate of the first sandwich. We didn’t care to argue with the angry blonde employee and get the right one… probably won’t be back for a while
Some of the best coffee and breakfast options. The owner is very nice too
Small location with extremely personable service. Food was good, black tea was very good! Very friendly, neighborhood feel. Definitely worth a breakfast visit!!
Great local spot to grab a breakfast. Breakfast sandwiches are great and they have good bagels available as well!
The Morbido Salmon Panini is panini gold. It is the best possible thing a human can consume.
During our visit the employee at the front counter was not friendly. Did not greet or acknowledge us, acted like we were bothering them by being there. Maybe they were just having a bad day but it made my wife and I feel unwelcome
This place is a neighborhood coffee shop that I really wanted to love more than I did. The employees were extremely rude and pretentious. Would come here all the time if it weren’t for the employees and their bad attitudes.
Delicious food, fresh coffee, and fragrant tea. Absolutely delightful!
Extremely Rude!!I order a Chai. While I was waiting for my drink, I was looking up maps on my phone to find directions (it was my first time in the area). Anyways, when the lady finished making my drink, she slammed it on the table and then said “Hey! You Gotta Pay”.That was extremely rude and out of no where. I was standing right there, I didn’t go anywhere, and I didn’t take the drink and run away. The experience left a bad taste on my mouth. How can you be so rude to your customers??
One of the best cafes in LoHiwe just moved to this part of the city, I almost go there daily now for the amazing coffee and paninis, also great service and the owner is awesome too.
Unassuming and delicious! I got the artufo and it was super tasty. They had a ton of options so there is something for everyone!
I live close by, and recently discovered this cafe. Ive been for both breakfast and lunch, and could not recommend this place more. LoHi has a lot of great food options, but Maci Cafe is approaching the top of my list. For breakfast -- the Spicado with Swiss. For lunch -- the Crudello. 10/10 would recommend. Im going to end up going here at least 2-3 times a week.
Overpriced sandwich, rude staff, and a very long wait for basic food.
Small wraps. Small cafe. Nothing special.
Perfect coffee/sandwich shop. Sandwiches are second to none in terms of taste and quality of ingredients.
Without a doubt the best value for food in Lohi. Delicious and authentic Italian panini made by...an Italian dude (most of the time). Friendly and courteous staff. The best coffee in the world ;)
This is my favorite spot in Denver for lunch and breakfast. The food is amazing, and the service is great. Every panini I have tried has blown my mind and now they have fresh pasta and tasty other treats to buy. You cannot go wrong with Maci.
My favorite sandwich spot in the city!! I’m currrntly addicted to the Bothai, but everything I have had has been amazing. Service is friendly and quick. What more can you ask for? Hope this little hole in the wall sticks around forever.
We ordered the egg, avocado, and roasted red pepper breakfast sandwich and the ham and cheese quiche. Delicious flavor, however the quiche was small and light on the fillings on the sandwich. Portion size was the only aspect keeping this from a perfect 5-star rating.
Wonderful place! Visited here last month and still dream about the sandwiches. Their smoothies are also dreamy. Will be coming back when we’re back in Denver.
Average and slow the two times I went.
Great coffee and good people
Asked for a coffee recommendation, got a good one, nice place
Paninis are the absolute best. The awesome... well it lives up to its name... even surpasses it. Amazing staff, perfect vibe. Favorite lunch spot!
Came in around 12:45 on a cloudy Thursday afternoon and was met with cheery staff ready to help me as a first timer. After being overwhelmed with options, I got a large quinoa oat bowl with strawberries, banana, honey, and pecans for around $8. Hit the spot just right.Great place for a quick bite and healthy meal in a fun little shop with some outdoor and window seating. Would highly recommend.
My sister treated me to birthday lunch here today. Amazing salads!
Great sandwiches. Kinda pricey, but worth it!
Delicious sandwiches and panini. Pleasantly surprised every time. Veggie options are very very good. Coffee is excellent also. The place is generally quiet (when it’s not busy) as there is no music. So actually very good also for work as there are relatively few distractions and little background noise
Super friendly staff, great drink - exactly what I was expecting, very quickAdhering to covid guidelines very well
Best panini sandwiches in the neighborhood. My go to is usually a hurry prosciutto sandwich as well as a 16 oz iced mocha/or iced matcha latte for a late morning/mid afternoon pick me up. Massimo and his team are absolutely wonderful, and its the only place I really go to anymore for my panini craving fix.
Fresh, simple and delicious! Can’t go wrong with either the breakfast sandos or paninis.
Wonderful place! Visited here last month and still dream about the sandwiches. Their smoothies are also dreamy. Will be coming back when we’re back in Denver.
They have a huge variety of amazing sandwiches. Everything on the menu is good, and their coffee is outstanding. This is one lf the few restaurants where I could throw darts at the menu and be comfortable getting whatever I happened to hit.
Great coffee cafe. Staff were nice. This place was good.
Pretty darn good! I came back a second time because I enjoyed the breakfast sandwhich and iced latte I got here. The sandwhich is honestly too light on the fillings, I cant imagine anyone would disagree with me on this. The price is cheap but Id expect most would pay a dollar or two more for an actual sandwhich. But I just ask for extra cheese, avacado/etc. The place does remind me of a college hangover cure kinda vibe and the service is fine/meh. But Ill be back because the food is still four stars!
Good Lord I have died and gone to heaven. Best iced breve mocha i have ever had and i order them everywhere. also loved that i didnt need to explain what an iced breve mocha is. Reasonable prices, fast service and friendly to boot. Thanks guys!
Great little cafe. I was working around the corner and stopped in for some caffine. Great price point (inexpensive) for a generous (and very delicious) iced coffee. The aesthetic is very humble and you can tell that it is a neighborhood favorite.
Delicious lunch and breakfast sandwich options! Everyone behind the counter is always incredibly friendly, service is quick too.
I love Maci Cafe! Excellent, fresh food. You will have to wait to get seated, but it is worth it. One of the best brunch places in Denver for sure.
Very cute little cafe, great espresso!
Delicious little quickbite. I had a Shok sandwich and was pleasantly shocked at how good it was 😉... Also, their new addition to Oat milk makes their Chai to die for! Add some friendly service and quiet nook; Might be my new go-to spot!!
Favorite local place for amazing coffee and sandwiches! The best!
Love this place! Consistently good food and friendly staff. I office around the corner and am there all the time. Highly recommended!
Hands down one of the BEST places to grab a tasty unique Italian flatbread sandwich in Denver! Super tasty quiches too. Also, it doesn’t hurt that they have a great atmosphere inside and a nice patio.
Simple, deliciously affordable and OPTIONS. Support your local and small shops. I love what you guys have to offer in this small dainty spot that offers my peace and quiet time in the morning. Thank you guys. Please try their cream cheese salmon, it’s light, heathy but filling breakfast on the go.
I’m visiting colorado & Ive had a few different coffee places while visiting here but THIS ONE HAS THE BEST ICE CARMEL MACCHIATO ( Fort Worth, Tx ) where I’m from doesn’t have that many coffee shops So normally Starbucks is my go to I wish I could bring Maci Cafe with me back to Texas! The coffee isn’t too strong making the drink bitter but also it’s not too sweet.
Maci Cafe is the best coffee shop in Denver! Their coffee is always excellent, the service and friendliness cant be beat, and their food is fantastic! I come here often and have never been disappointed.
Best panini Ive had in my life. I was full but was close to ordering a second just to enjoy again. NICE WORK!
Good hot coffee, espresso is good as well .. nice selection of baked goods sandwiches and salads to go and eat there. Many friends in this area and a chill spot to meet and make plans before heading out.. nice staff and they care, they show passion about their jobs .. go there
One of my favorite Cafes in all of Denver! Great neighborhood spot for good coffee and sandwiches.
Amazing coffee, paninis. Owner is incredibly friendly and the place has a unique charm. Way better than a Starbucks!
Good food, good coffee, good prices. Nice little neighborhood coffee shop with friendly staff.
Love this place. Fantastic sandwiches and salads. Everyone there is super nice. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Denver. One of the best paninis Ive had outside of Italy.
I eat lunch here at least once a week. It is awesome! I love the coffee salad (it is not anything like what it sounds like. I also love the Crud Sandwich again, nothing like the name would imply! Also, if you want to get JACKED UP, get a nitro coffee when it is available.
Great latte and service!
Ordered a Cafe-latte, $4+, got brewed coffee with steamed milk. Interesting menu though.Update: Dont know how a Latte can be interpreted as a au lait, but I truly appreciate the refund. It shows you care about the customer. Thank you! Will definitely try again. 🙏🏽
Great neighborhood sandwich shop. So many panini to choose from. Great gluten free bread and tons of vegetarian options. All panini—meat and veggie alike—are delicious.
Great Americano, will have to get just the espresso next time.
If you love Italian sandwichs and coffee you better give them a try. Very friendly, reasonably priced, huge selection and delicious!
Friendly service is tops...delicious sandwiches with countless choices!
Amazing! My husband and I were visiting and wanted a light lunch. We passed this little cafe that had specialty coffee drinks and paninis. It wasnt crowded and we decided to give it a chance. Wow! Im glad we did! Best panini, actually, best sandwich we have ever had! How can a small Cafe make such an amazing panini? Who cares, as long as they keep doing it. This was the one place I wanted to go back to. Unfortunately, we didnt have time, but I havent stopped thinking about this place and WILL get back one day. I would recommend this to anyone!
Adorable cozy place with amazing food and service. My mouth waters every time I think about it.
Sandwiches were really good! Latte was okay.
This is one of 3 coffee shops I frequently visit and I have never been disappointed. Atmosphere invites you to stay a while. Baristas make you feel at home. Their panini are simple yet delicious, the meat is perfect, with just the right amount of cheese and leafy greens. Lattes are always on point and somehow are made exactly what I need for the day (more sweet or less sweet). The owner is always around and makes it a point to engage, ask questions, and follow up from previous conversations. A+ shop all around. Love you guys!
Truly splendid offerings, fairly priced. My white mocha soy was so good!
The employees were super friendly and welcoming. The food was very tasty and the coffee was sweet but good.
I got the artufo sandwich and mango smoothie. Bomb dot comb. Good service too. Definitely coming back!
Good espresso. Gotta come back for the food, looks delicious.
A sunny patio door a quick bite in LoHi. Love having a coffee and a buttery bagel and take in the vitamin C on the weekend.
Great people and coffee. A little small but what place isnt at the price for rent around here.
Love this place! Best panino Ive had since one in Florence many years ago. The spicy coppa is to die for. Delicious!
Excited to find this hidden gem! Fresh, delicious, reasonable...whats not to love.
Nice patio ...great coffee
Wonderful little gem of a breakfast and lunch place. Dont pass this one up!
Delicious coffee, friendly service, nice vibes...feels very Italian inside and has a few tables outside. I definitely look forward to returning to try some food as it all looked delicious!
Felt like I was transported to Europe. Fantastic pressed paninis with super fresh ingredients. I Would recommend the Rafi prosciutto panini. Great patio for outdoor eating.
Nice place to grab coffee or a bite!
Best panini Ive had anywhere. Everything is fresh and delicious, and the staff is always friendly. Great Italian coffee, too.
Great coffee and delicious sandwiches. Great for a quick lunch!
