It would be hard to overstate how great it was to work with Do-It-Ur-Self. My husband and I were embarking on a remodel of our master bathroom. We visited a couple of the independent showrooms around town, as well as Restoration Hardware, and then one day ended up at Do-It-Ur-Self. We had read the Yelp reviews about this place always having hard to find plumbing parts, but we didnt know if theyd have the kinds of things we were looking for for our remodel. Im so thankful that we decided to check them out. There were two things that stood out when we walked in. First, the staff was so friendly and helpful, while also being knowledgeable. Monica helped us from the start. She looked at our drawings to understand our space, and then took the time to understand our taste. She made great suggestions, helped us to mix and match from the various lines that they carry, and ultimately helped us to choose an assortment of amazing finishes. The finished product is more than we could have imagined.Second, beyond the excellent service, the quality of the lines that they carry is truly unmatched. When you touch these pieces, you can feel the difference. Like I said earlier, we visited many showrooms, and this was definitely the highest quality that saw.If you want beautiful fixtures and to work with a great staff, this place has to be on your list of places to check out. We have 3 more bathrooms in our house, and I know well be back!
This place is just amazing! From the outside, you cant quite imagine all of the products and expertise you will find inside. The staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgable, and we had an exceptionally professional and thorough experience from beginning to end, outfitting every nook of our large renovation project. We even had a couple of warranty issues with products, which they immediately addressed and resolved. Cannot think of another place in Denver to get this kind of help and access to gorgeous hardware and innovative solutions.
Saved me about $1000 by helping me find a replacement cartridge for my old shower. I wasnt sure the brand of the old cartridge or how to find a replacement but they knew exactly what it was within a few seconds of looking at it. They didnt have it in stock but they pointed me to an ACE Hardware that probably would. They said if ACE didnt have it I could call them to order it and theyd have it within a day. Great customer service. First place Im going to about pluming issues and parts in the future.
Great service. I would go there again. They always answer my questions. They accommodated our needs. They explained everything really well. The owners are great, its a family business. Great selection. Thank you Monica and to your brothers as well.
Needed a replacement furnace ignitor. Called ahead, gentleman answered that they had the one I needed lightning quick. Arrived later that day to purchase -- very friendly and prompt service, was on my way very quickly! Item was more expensive than I had found online, but I expected this and was glad to have the product quickly as my home was getting cold! Will definitely return if my luck in home plumbing or heating requires again.
Weve been using/buying products from Do-it-Ur-Self Plumbing and Heating for years....They are always a pleasure to work with and carry an amazing line of quality products. They are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful in findingthe correct product(s) for your needs. Great Peope, Great Place to shop for your bathroom, kitchen and plumbing items… Thank you Monica!! KG
We Do it ourselves a lot, and have found some really cool materials and had a lot of help with ordering and support! The prices are reasonable and they have a lot of stuff that is hard to find in the US. Lustrolite is our favorite shower wall material! Special thanks to the patient staff and the support they gave use while we took on this project!
OMG I cant say enough good things about DIY. My architect recommended and I went in and was blown away from the selection, every type of style I like. With Monicas help, we banged out my whole house in an hour. Whats best was they allowed my contractor to store all the purchased items as my months-long renovation took forever. But I was able to order all at once and he was able to swing by and pick up items when he needed it. Monica was super helpful in picking and advising on the right fixtures, including steam shower, Japanese toilet, all US made fixtures, even the curb-less shower pan. Love this place.
This is the most useful and most knowledgeable place we have visited in a long time. The gentleman at store was very informative and walked us trough how to trouble shoot the furnace. Saved us time and money by pointing out that the piece we were about to replace was not broken. He genuinely seemed to care and wanted to help us out. He explained the entire process of the heating involved with the furnace and showed us step-by-step what to do. We’re definitely going back to Do It Yourself Plumbing and Heating Supply. Awesome store, even better employees.
Jackson was very helpful in getting us a new blower motor and capacitor for our furnace, and even helped us remove the old motor. Thanks so much!
They had a furnace blower motor that I needed in stock, and for $150 less than another HVAC repair business quoted me. Fast, friendly, and helpful without being pretentious. We are also planning on redoing our kitchen, and will definitely be back to purchase our faucet and sink from here as well!
Wow, for those projects you need special help on, these are the folks to see. After checking Lowes, Home Depot, and Park Supply of America, we were wondering if we could complete our project without a big cost. These folks know what theyre talking about, they are very helpful, and theres no fluff. Its SE off of the I-70 Washington exit at 31st in Brighton. Parking is easy.
These people are great for do it yourself heating and cooling system parts. The young man behind counter was very helpful at getting the right parts based on computer info. He took time to search for parts and ultimately I, decided what i needed. Parts were also very reasonable in price comparable to ordering online without extra cost shipping etc Thank you for your help.
This is a great shop, and one that I will keep using as needed! I ended up fixing my own furnace after every HVAC company I hired did very poor issue diagnosis and were more interested in selling me an entire new one, and Do-It-Ur-Self had all of the parts I needed in stock! And this was for a 24-year old furnace too! Friendly on the phone; willing to confirm stock and price before you head down. Theyre also the lowest cost parts I could find in the Denver metro area, usually 30-40% cheaper than any other store that actually sells to the public.
They had the part I needed and knew what it was immediately; other shops were fumbling around. One of the few places that welcomes homeowners who want furnace parts. Also an impressive showroom, especially the old refurbished items.
Awesome service, friendly staff called in for the part they stock checked it for me. In and out under 5 minutes. Great price also. Gained my business.
Super helpful. They had a variety of parts at a very good price. They are easily located and it was an overall hood experience
We have used Do-it-ur-self Plumbing for over 20 years. We used them when we built our home, and continued to do so over the years as areas have needed upgrading and replacements. We wouldnt go anywhere else, they have always either had what we needed or were able to find it. Thank you for your great service!
Robert and Jackson saved me thousands on the replacement of my old furnace and air conditioner. They coordinated things with the installers and made sure we were all on the same page. Communication was excellent! I certainly will continue to use them for plumbing as well as heating needs.
Called in cold to see if they had my furnace ignitor in stock, the person on the phone was just as knowledgeable and helpful as the person behind the counter who helped get us back up and running on a cold January Saturday (saved us a very pricey service call to a heating company on a weekend). Exceptional stock, pricing, and service!
These guys are the best in Denver. Whenever I need a plumbing or heating part they have it. Other stores that carry parts dont usually supply you or reluctantly do unless you are a contractor. They are very helpful too and know their stuff better than anyone in the area.
Very helpful friendly staff. Centrally located in Denver for everyone in the area. Showroom is definitely an idea room. Gave me lots to think about!
The people at Do it ur-self Plumbing are first rate. Ive dealt with Monica, Robert, Ed and Linda on a number of kitchen and bath remodels and have found them to be an invaluable resource. Ive referred a number of my customers to Monica for guidance in making selections for their projects, and they have had nothing but good things to say about their experiences with her. DIY has an excellent selection - with several demonstrative mock-ups in their showroom - and Monicas product knowledge is second to none. She is genuinely a pleasure to deal with. Robert has helped me on a number of occasions, finding parts and offering solid guidance on the technical side of things. Both Linda and Ed have helped to streamline my own business operations by keeping me in the loop on shipment arrivals and the like. All of them have done these things without so much as a hint of the curmudgeonly vibe typically associated building suppliers, to a person they have been nothing but friendly and professional. Check them out, youll be happy that you did.Josh Baden, Crow Valley Construction LLC
Do NOT do business here!!This place sells garbage as a substitute for decent plumbing fixtures. They give you terrible advice posing as a industry professional. I’d be surprised if they had ever even set a toilet. (That’s the 1st and easiest project you are taught as a rookie apprentice)John- 3rd generation Master Plumber!!!(And 3rd generation Plumbing business owner)You should listen to those people who actually know how to do the job, not yet people who are making money selling trash in u of quality and making a killing from their lies.
I love supporting this company - its local, family operated and they stock tubs, sinks, faucets etc. that are not only high quality but are made in the USA! Because I fix and flip houses, I check everywhere for plumbing supplies - what I purchase from this company is fairly priced and HIGH quality. Also the employees are professional and so helpful!!!!
DIY Plumbing has saved me more money, time and headache than I can say. Most recently I had to replace my furnace. I got quotes from $8000 to $10,000 for a middle of the road furnace. I called Monica and Robert at DIY and when it was all said and done, I spent about $2000 on a much better furnace. Just one of about 20 examples of doing business with an honest, local, non-chain, family oriented group.
Ive been using Do-it-ur-self Plumbing for nearly 25 years, and it is the best. The employees, especially in the parts department are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are fair and the service is great, what more could you want. I addition to a wide selection of state of the art kitchen and bath fixtures, hey also carry antique fixtures that you will not find elsewhere. Fantastic!
Gonna miss these guys when they move. So convenient, great service and prices. Thanks Robert.
They had the gas furnace replacement part I needed. The part was new and installed perfectly.
Great showroom. Great selection with catalogs. Super knowledgeable and friendly!!! We are very happy with our unique fixtures!
This place is the best!! I stumbled upon it years ago when my furnace broke in the middle of winter and I was trying to fix it myself. Robert walked me through how the furnace works and helped me to diagnose the problem. He tested certain parts for me and spent a lot of time and effort getting me back up and running. I instantly became a loyal customer! Robert has since assisted me with many other projects, some being quite complicated. He is a plumbing guru and just recently designed a hot water circulation system for our home. After we installed it he actually came to the house and fine tuned it for us. It works perfectly! The showroom has to be one of the best in Denver. Monica is great! She has assisted me on many occasions and always helps me to select the perfect hardware, tubs, toilets, etc. I can tell her how much I want to spend and she will build out the project. She is very fun to work with and has a great sense of humor.Do-it-ur-self Plumbing also has a huge selection of antique tubs, toilets, sinks, hardware, floor registers, and so on. They actually refurbish old clawfoot bath tubs. We are having ours done and couldnt be more excited. The incredible inventory paired with the HIGHLY knowledgeable staff makes this one of Denvers greatest gems!
Lots of hard to find parts for antique plumbing fixtures from what I have seen. Staff is friendly and helpful to do-it-yourselfers as the name implies. Prices are pretty steep on the new stuff but what designer plumbing showroom isnt
Robert was hugely helpful. Ive been coming here for over 20 years. I hope its here for 20 more years.
DISHONEST!!! If I could give a zero I would.... Heater igniter went out in the winter and desperately needed one. They picked up on this and decided to hike the price up by over 120%!!! Luckily found the exact same part for less money than on Amazon at Sid Harveys. Totally honest and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Love this place: parts for my Victorian era bathroom. Lits of smart people here.
Do-it-ur-self is fantastic! I am a general contractor and have shopped for myself and clients at all the major plumbing supply houses in the Denver metro area. Do-it-ur-self stands head and shoulders above the rest in terms of service, selection, inventory and price. Where the others have to special order hard to find parts, Do-it-ur-self stocks those. Where the others have limited knowledge of the fixtures they sell, Do-it-ur-self has seasoned professionals. Where the others sell limited brands, Do-it-ur-self has a broader range of very high quality products. This is evident in the parts behind the wall, the valves. Do-it-ur-self beats the contractor pricing of the others for everyone! As we practice open book contracting, this is an added value we can bring to our clients, that they can really see. That reflects positively on us.Scott Moore, President Dalkita, Inc. and Colleens husband.
Its great to have a place where advanced do-it-yourself folks can pickup parts. Stopped in a minute after closing and these guys stuck around a little late got me the part I needed to fix my blower motor. Ill be back anytime I need a part.
Great place staff was very helpful and had everything I needed in stock. Good place to get good man furnace parts.
This company saved me a lot of money and was very helpful. After doing research on how to replace a furnace blower-motor after another company gave me an outrageously high bid to do the work for me, this company provided a replacement unit for a great price and helped troubleshoot over the phone (I had trouble because I accidently knocked a wire loose).Overall great experience!
I was just help from Robert E Hill at do-it-yourself plumbing heating supply. After driving up from Colorado Springs they had every part I needed and wonderful knowledgeable service. Thank you so much!
When you want to do it yourself. They are my number one calling list. I maintain restaurants they always have what I need
Pricey! They sold me a furnace pressure switch for $38. Amazon sells it for $17 plus free shipping. I can only recommend shopping here if you need something in a hurry.
Very helpful and priced right.I will never go to any other place for my plumbing needs.
The best place to find plumbing parts new and old. Staff in the parts department are awesome at identifying what part you need and what brand it is.
Very knowledgeable staff and their price far beats the big corporate box stores! They have all my business for plumbing and heating supplies from now on and I will send all my friends to them as well!
These guys are great to work with, they know their stuff plus their prices are great. The same exact part from a competitor was almost $30 more.
I called 3 service folks to repair my 17 year old Armstrong furnace. Each one of them told me its old and I wouldnt be able to find parts and therefore I needed to replace it. I came across Do-it-ur-self and not only did they have the main circuit board they were also able to order the gas valve that everyone claimed could not be replaced. Jackson- who works in the parts department walked me through the installation of the circuit board marking the pages and turning the switches on for me that related to my unit. Not only are these guys friendly but they are very helpful. I will absolutely be coming back to this place for all of my plumbing/hvac needs. In terms of price they are comparable. The internet will probably save you a few dollars but there are very few places left that you can call, receive great service/help and pick your parts up the same day or within 24-48 hours. Support places like this. I cant wait to shop here for our bathroom remodel early next year!
Do-it-ur-self is the very best showroom in Denver. Specialize in all the designer brands you wont see at Home Depot. Monica was an essential member of our design and construction team!
Good people at Do-it-ur-self Plumbing and Heating. I messed up a blower fan install on HVAC unit. They gave me guidance and great part pricing on the spot to get job done. Would HIGHLY Recommend! Thanks, Rick
Great customer service, worked with us for bathroom upgrade, great selection!!
The guys over here are great, managed to get a gas valve in an emergency and all the parts I needed to get the job done for my customer. Cant wait to do business with you again!
The run capacitor on my a/c unit went out one night (thanks to YouTube problem solving). It was too late in the night for service tech and my daughters wouldn’t be happy waiting a couple days in the mail for one to arrive (home improvement stores don’t sell capacitors in their stores). Most local HVAC suppliers aren’t open on the weekend and only want to sell to contractors. I found do-it-yourself and a review that said they had no problems selling to the public. First thing the next day I went in, showed the guys the failed capacitor and they confirmed my issue. The guys walked me through the installation and advised that the first thing I do is buy a spare from Amazon (slightly cheaper) so I could make the repair ASAP in future. They also went over some things I could do to the unit to clean/tune it up. 20 minutes later my a/c was back up and running and I didn’t have hot, complaining daughters to deal with. Many thanks to do-it-yourself for saving me hundreds in a service call and having the patience to walk a novice through making the repairs.
Fast friendly service. Had exactly what I needed at a fair price.
Super helpful and knowledgeable. Very fair prices. Will use them again when ever possible.
Awesome, paid $13 for a capacitor and 30 mins later my AC is running again. Do yourself a favor and go here and support your local businesses.
The customer service ice is the bomb . I reccomend Do-it-ur-self to everybody that need plumbing parts and specialty parts . I give them 5 stars . All day.
The people at this store are amazingly nice and ridiculously knowledgeable. They have been there for us with the save twice this year with parts and know how.
These guys are pretty much amazing. I had to make several minor repairs on my boiler and they had all the parts and walked me through the entire process. They also went through the pictures I took of the system and gave me suggestions for upgrades and maintenance. As a young woman going into hardware or autoparts type stores, I am often treated like an idiot. While I had no real knowledge of boilers prior to attempting these projects, everyone I have dealt with at Do-it-ur-self has treated me with utmost respect and explained everything in a non-condescending and helpful manner. I cant say enough good things about this place and I plan to use them for anything else that comes my way to be repaired.
Was able to re-plumb the kitchen faucet in my camper because of their help. No one else had the parts I needed -not even the RV supply!
I use that place as much as possible great customer service.
Very helpful, walked me through troubleshooting and fixing two furnaces (gas valve, controller, blower motor). Prices are comparable to what you get on the Web (assuming fast shipping).
My furnace ignitor went out last night, giving me no heat in my house. I have two small children, so we could not go a night without heat. After making a series of calls it seems that DIY Plumbing and Heating is the only place in the Denver metro area that carries furnace parts for the public. Robert from DIY waited, after hours, for an additional 30 minutes so that I could drive down and get the part I needed.I am very grateful for their generosity! They also have a pretty sweet showroom. If you are making any kitchen/bath remodels, its worth checking out.
Although most often used to describe the environmental impact of a business’s products or activities, I am using the term “cradle to grave” as a metaphor to describe Do-it-ur-self Plumbing & Heating Supply because if you walk in the door and let them serve you, you will likely never use another plumbing store as long as you live. Whether you need plumbing parts or hardware, fixtures and accessories, we found the staff at DIY Plumbing highly customer service oriented, extremely knowledgeable, and committed to guarantying that we were more than satisfied with everything we purchased. My husband and I started our experience with DIY based on a recommendation of the contractor we hired to remodel our master bath. From the minute we walked in the door, we noticed that the staff at DIY seem like they naturally excel when it comes to customer service. Monica and Robert, two of the staff we dealt with the most, asked all the right questions and took their time to get to know us and figure out our style preferences and budget. Based on what they learned about our project, their knowledge was more than evident as they offered a wide variety of bathroom fixtures, parts, and solutions that met our needs and our budget. They also took the time to educate us about what we were doing, and what we needed and why.On more than one occasion, our remodel project turned out to be a bit more complicated than we anticipated (don’t they all!) and lasted much longer than we expected. Even so, the staff at DIY continued to help us navigate these twists and turns that entailed the myriad of deviations we needed to address. Finally yet just as importantly, they also stood by every product and purchase.u2028u2028Truly, this company values your business, takes nothing for granted, and will be a lifetime partner for all your plumbing needs if you give them the opportunity.
I spent what seemed like endless hours searching for a set of old Valley 2 handled shower valves. None of the big box stores carried them, neither did some of the plumbing specific parts houses in the Littleton area either. So I figured I had No choice but to order them online and wait 2 days to take a shower. The online vendor did not inform me that the parts were backordered even though I paid for two day shipping AND the website showed the parts in stock! I was livid! I started calling every plumbing supply store within a 50 mile radius and FINALLY Do-it-ur-self had the parts in stock! Not only were they in stock, but the clerk had them sitting on the counter ready for me to pick up. I highly advise buying from local businesses as opposed to a big box store or online retailer that wont be able to deliver (both figuratively and literally in my case).
Professional knowledgeable staff with a vast amazing inventory. If you have questions or need advice, these are the people to call.
I am Sonny Vigil with Vigils Handyman Services I been using Do-it-ur-self Plumbing & Heating for 20 years I just love the friendly service I get every time I go their and they know their their stuff a big plus and they always save me money a plus as well and they always have what I need and if they dont which is rare they will get it for me. This place is great! Huge help and saved me $1,100 on my repair.
Friendly fast and helpful! Love their Saturday hours!!
These guys rock, do not spend a dime until you consult with them. HVAC & Plumbing can be tricky, theyll straighten you out so you can make an informed decision.
Great place, knowledgeable staff to help for those cheap fixes that arent so cheap if you call a service company. I wish I knew about them sooner
Awesome place. Extremely helpful staff.
Super helpful and friendly folks at do-it-ur-self!!!! I will definitely shop there again
Sold me an AC capacitor at a reasonable price even though I wasnt a contractor. Only place I could find it in Denver.
Great customer service and very knowledgeable! I came in for a thermocouple used by a vintage Modine commercial heater. thanks!!

Great place to save yourself some money.
My blower motor had went out on my ac/ furnace unit. After looking around for two weeks and talking with everyhvac person I knew I could not get the part I needed. There wasnt a Hvac supplier that would sell to the public and when I did find one they would upswell the hell out of it. I finally found do it yourself plumbing and the people were helpful and knowlegable. I just brought my old motor in and they checked to make sure it was bad and then explained how to hook up the new replacement. Couldnt be happier and cooler. Thanks do it yourself I will be back!
Great customer service, and knowledgeable! Went the extra mile to help me get the blower wheel off of the furnace motor.
Didnt charge a fortune, wonderful people, I saved hundreds of dollars by asking for their advice and doing the repair myself. So glad I found them
Had just what I needed to fox my furnace.
Gentlemen on the phone was great but when i got to the actual store nobody was at the counter stood around for ten minutes then walked into the office area said hello and asked if i could get some help and was rudely and completely ignored by the woman at the front desk.
Brought out wrong part at first. Three times more expensive then another plumbing supply store.
Great advice, everything you need.
Will never use a different shop in town ever again. Should’ve gone here first.
They got from A to Z in plumbing you named they got ot

Middle age fellow came to the service of the first person he saw?? Instead of asking who was next!! Was waiting for over 10 minutes !! Needs some cultural education!!
Very knowledgeable
It is a place where you can find anything about plumbing and heating in addition to the service and prices very accessible 5 stars
