Good place to shop for this area. The gentleman working the counter was pretty cool. Laid back, he did a bit of complaining about customers entering the establishment at the last minute, making it difficult for staff to close down the store and leave. Although I could understand and appreciate his viewpoint, given I work at a commercial tire and mechanics shop and the same thing happens there, I dont think it appropriate to discuss in the open! The gentleman who replied seemed to perhaps be management given he ended up having to handle my checkout as the other guys kiosk crashed. He was very sympathetic to what was said, but he also gave him answer that I thought showed sound judgment and wisdom, even more so with his age. Maturity is awesome coming from the young. Especially given the other guy was definitely in his mid 30s. The store itself was not stocked as well as the one Id gone to the day before on Memorial Dr. In the Kroger Plaza. There was also multiple spills on the floor though in most places there were caution signs.....not all. They dont have any of the easy quick pays, apple, google, Android nor Samsung. I spent $230 in this Dollar General and I have to say, all n all......good place.

This is my go to store for many things when I dont want to go to a large store. A neighborly friendly store. I love the many selections like the arts and crafts. My quick in and out stop and go store.

Since I live around the corner I occasionally go there for an item I might need in a hurry. However I usually spend more time there because of the line and one cashier. Most of the cashiers are courteous but Ive encountered some who werent. The front area is messy and crowded and you can barely move around. If Im planning on shopping at Dollar General I go to the one on Columbia Drive which is neater.

The cashiers have been very courteous, polite, friendly, helpful, etc. The management could take a lesson from these other ladies in how to be respectful and quicker in response to problems. I saw this with two customers first hand today, and probably will never go back. Very frustrating when youre in a hurry.

I like to shop at dollar general . They have great bargains throughout the store.

Closed, door locked...while still open hours.. and after them telling me they were going to come open the door... then proceed to watch me stand at the door then in my car... almost 30 minutes...

Long wait in the lines but cashier was nice

Love this store but if you want to catch the sale items, you better get there early in the week. Dont count on just picking up what you went in for, youre bound to find something else that you cant pass up.

Granted I go here often, generally its does the trick. I usually find what I need.Chenell is good people. Unfortunately Glenwood Rd is trash...bums, junkies and whatever else you expect in the ghetto! Talking about the ghetto!

Its very sad when u go into a store and have to encounter disrespect from the store manager Chennai she is supposed to show leadership on dollar general behalf not disrespect and lies I was thier when a lady came in to exchange something and she just started talking disrespectful to the lady I have to be honest I work here and I hate working in this store because the store manager is rude to the people in this neighborhood she is. Always cussing the customers out like thier not customer of ours then she like to call the police if they say something back to her when she start with the disrespect I am here working because I need a job right now but still looking for a better job the store manager at this location make this place Getto look at her she dont comb her hair and always giving the police department people free things because her husband work for the department dollar general need to transfer her to another location because no one likes her in this neighborhood because she to disrespectful !!! I really hope dollar general replace her due to how she treat people and she always telling people to get out because they look like they cant pay for a dam thing who allow a manager to disrespect customer like this please understand I am sick of her disrespectful ways

Very unorganized. Didnt wish to continue shopping because of the clutter. The staff didnt great you as you checked out and others talked to costumer in line going up the line. Dont think Ill return to this particular store.

The store has declined over the last year. The quality of employees there is low. Shelves are often messy. There are almost always people asking for money in front of the doors. Management used to make them leave, but doesnt seem to anymore.

Lousy and obnoxious dollar store. You know the experience youre getting when you go.

Go here if youre on a budget. You can get most of your day to day things. Like household items and cleaning supplies...

The manager had me do months and months of paper work for a job just to attack and disrespect me for checking on the job. She told me my kind wasnt welcomed here then proceeded to be blatantly disrespectful to me then told another employee to not service me.
