Its okay. The ppl are kinda rude to African American ppl,condering we the main source of their income.

If I could give them zero stars I would. So I buy a wig from them 3 weeks ago for $500. Not even a week wearing it, it start tangled up getting nappy it look bad I had to water for it to look like something but when it dry it look bad. I called them customer service is bad and they will not do everything about it. DO NOT BUY A WIG AT THIS STORE!!! They do not have good quality wigs.

I love this place, it has everything from hair essentials to clothing. Reasonable prices,and good customer service.

They are rude, horrible customer service, they are selling synthetic blend wigs as 100% human hair. Black folks find somewhere else to spend your money that will show you some respect please.

Big store but not a whole lot of selections for colors in crochet faux locs and braids. The Chapel beauty in Stonecrest in my opinion has large selection of colors outside 1B,2 and 4.

They always think you’re stealing.

I stopped in to look at units. Employees in the section where they display the units were not friendly. Actually one employee was very reluctant to answer my questions. She was also very rude. On my way out of the store, I informed the manager and two employees standing with him, about the rudeness of his employees and of my experience. Considering the demographics of the neighborhoods in which their stores are located, I expect great customer service! Don’t buy from any Chapel Beauty stores.

The only beauty supply I give my money too. Great selection that other stores dont carry.

I gave them three stars cause the place is big and they have just about anything you need. But their customer service is horrible. On different occasions once I bought and paid for my stuff I went to leave and the alarm goes off. That is so embarrassing. I hand her the bag back. They got the products but it doesn’t make up for how they treat their customers

I normally do not write reviews. However, this was by far the worst customer service I have ever received! I drove down from Buford, Georgia to purchase a week from the store. I was a little concerned about the color but the sales rep insisted that the color listed on the tag was incorrect and that the actual color was a 99J. I purchased the wig and when I walked outside and checked in the sunlight the wig was in fact what I thought .....PURPLE! I walked right back in to exchange it and they refuse. She told me that since she had cut the tags off the wig it was not returnable. I had not even made it to my car! I spoke with the manager and he was no help either. This week was $62 plus tax! A total waste of time and money! I will never ever shop or recommend this store again!

Customer service is the worst i have ever came in contact with, i will never shop with Chapel Beauty again, i have been a faithful customer for more than 3 years and love the selections they offer but ever since this new selection of people working have came in im tremendously turned off and dissatisfied! People spend your money where its appreciated because they have definitely gotten besides their selves with their customer service!!!!!

Have been going there for years because it was convenient, reasonable, and has a large selection. I went in to buy an item and asked the sales representative about a previous purchase, I had made- some magnetic earrings. The earrings were defective so was unable to wear them. She stated that I could not get a replacement set. She asked if i had the receipt, i did but did not have the earrings with me; then she stated no returns, no exchange. I will not be returning- I hate it because I had been going there for years.

They have nice products but their customer service is horrible. Plus they have this stupid no return policy. DONT PURCHASE THE WRONG THING YOURE NOT GOING TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK OR EXCHANGE.

This has always been my favorite beauty salon store. I went in yesterday after a few months and they still have a great selection of Nyx cosmetics and all my favorite high end brands like Moroccan Oil, Paul Mitchell, and Nexxus. They are always very nice and helpful. Ill always come back to this place.

Folks who work there act like theyre doing favor & allowing customer to spend customers money at their store. Not only does store require customer MUST purchase wig cap in order to try on wig even when customer has own brand new unused wig cap, customer can only try on 3 wigs with that cap. Go try on more, customer MUST purchase another cap to try another up to 3 wigs...and so on & so on... Also, store wont allow customer try on CLIP earring before purchase...store says hold earring up to face only then. I say no Ill just take my business elsewhere & I did just that & will continue. Too many other choices to settle for that so hopefully others will catch a clue & do same because too many other choices to settle for any demeaning treatment for any reason & especially when spending ones money.

Ive always had a good experience at this store. Honestly cant remember going to a different beauty supply store in years....I see a lot of the negative reviews are coming from the wig department; Ive never purchased anything from there so I cant comment on anyones experience in that particular section, but overall the store is always clean, and fully stocked

I went into Chapel Beauty hair store to purchase a wig after looking at their website ONLY TO BE EMBARRASSED AND BE TREATED INHUMANELY.I was hoping to buy a wig in their store so I asked for help from an older Asian woman who acted as if I was infringing on her personal space. She looked at me with an evil eye when I merely asked her if she could help me. That shouldve been a clue there. I proceeded down the aisle to the wig and MERELY asked her if she could show me the color of wigs they had for this particular one. She told me she COULDNT open up any packages. I told her I knew I couldnt I thought she had misunderstood me but she said SHE couldnt OPEN ANYBL BOXES. Well how am I a customer suppose to know what color it was before buying, I asked she said she couldnt. I proceeded to repeat the question and she got irate with me and said I should know what color I want!!! Omg. I told her that her store wasnt the only hair store around. And she said oh well..This is what gets me about Asians and ppl of other nationalities.... they want to be rude to us BUT NOT RUDE ENOUGH TO TAKE OUR MONEY. I went into the store yesterday April 29th, 2016 for the 1st time and purchased a few items including some weave; The product isnt the issue, but what is - is the fact that the Asian lady who assisted me OVER charged me!!!I should have checked before I left the cash register... yet my assumptions was Id not be ripped off & I blindly put my trust in the owner of this store and stupidly so!How will she explain today- when I go back there about these over charges for an item which cost $10.99 changed and charged up to $29.99 and 21.99 to it changed and charged up to $26.99?Im sure this wasnt a honest mistake on her part, but it will be fixed or there will be a problem and theyre going to have to try hard to explain this BS ME!Ill never go here again!How are you looking out for thieves, yet YOURE THE crooked ones stealing from the customers?.Tragic isnt?Cant trust no one but Ill never go here again!

Rude and unappreciative of my business. The wig shop lady tells me at 845 that she closed. Store closes at 9. I drove past 4 beauty supply stores just to get here. They just lost a sale. I already knew exactly what I wanted, tried it Sunday and now I really want it. Oh well, on to the next one :-(

I just left the store at South Dekalb Mall and they tried to force me into buying a cap for .50 to try on a wig. I pulled a brand new cap out that I just purchased across the street prior to going to their location. Cap was not used. I paid $1 for 4. The girl was playing with hers and telling me it was for sanitary reasons. Mine came fresh out the pack. I would have given away that cap before I lost a sale. I just walked out....smh.

I have been coming in this store for years. Went in today to buy a wig and the lady walks over to me to say I cant try the wig on because of my hair. I had braids and cut them theyre like micros and I cut them to a inch long. She says I can buy a wig but not try it on even with a wig cap because I will stretch out the wig. How? Its not thick or long. Ill never go back there again.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The owners of this store are all about the money. Im sure theyve dealt with their share of bad customers, but they have become insensitive and rude to the very customers who have made them what they are today. I do hair and I always send my clients there to get their hair, and too many times, they come back with complaints about how they were treated. I even experienced it first hand myself recently. I will not be shopping there and I will not send my clients there either. Its sad that they are willing to lose good hard working dollars over something as simple as taking the time to see what your customers needs are. Everything can be worked out with a smile. Advice to management–This is 2016, learn to deal with your customer in a positive and constructive way, no need to be nasty and rude.

My fav beauty supply store!

I came in to try on a wig and was completely denied, due to the fact that I have locs. My locs are not long and I expressed how I would braid it back to be as flat as I could get it, with a cap. Still rudely told no buy yheManager. He was very rude and said if I didnt like it, I needed to leave. After I explained how it was discrimination against people with locs,(honestly very calm) he threatened to call the cops. I thought it was crazy. Anyway, I will never step foot in there again!
