Had nice tea with friends. Traditional Yemni organic tea, soooo tasty and the dessert as well. They also sell tea powders so can be enjoyed at home. Can’t wait to go again. Highly recommended for tea lovers. Even if you aren’t a tea lover you’ll be after having from here.

Had a cup of karak chaye/tea with milk 100% taste

When I walked in I smelled aromatic spices and coffee. That was a good sign, once I got my coffee, its deliciously spiced, sweet and creamy. Next time Ill get just straight black coffee to really taste the coffee itself. I will update my review when I do. If the coffee is good black then this review will be updated to a five star one.I ordered two samosas, one cheese and one beef. They were also tasty.

I ordered Arabic coffee with Saffron. It was good. I enjoyed my coffee.

Very friendly and welcoming staff! Great Yemeni atmosphere. We tried honey comb and Sabaya, both were delicious. Adni tea and Yemeni coffee latte were good too. They have 3 tables with few chairs, parking is in the back.

I cannot tell you how happy I am to have stumbled upon this amazing coffee & tea house! The service from Hussein was spectacular and the different drinks and pastries I tried were all unique and full of flavor. It’s not everyday when you get a chance to be in an authentic Yemeni coffeehouse—truly a cultural experience you won’t regret! I look forward to returning on my next visit to the Detroit area.

Overall a great place....great food and drinks....great people and love it...the girl in the scarf as one of the employees just stares at people weirdly especially men... and I saw that happening...and despite being nice to her and conversing and talking about other things to break the ice...she continues to make me a bit edgy and stares at me from various angles....I would like to study there and drink and eat awesome food...and not feel like im being watched...thats my only 2 cents worth suggestion...otherwise I would have loved to give this store a 5 star rating if it wasnt for her... thanks.

My favorite Yemeni place to go.I like it here a lot and I never ordered anything except adani chai and honeycomb sweet. It’s been a while I don’t order that honeycomb because the last two time I had it, it felt they weren’t fresh at all. I could feel the difference between the first few times I has and those last couple times. So that’s the reason I gave it 4 stars.

Finally I could try this fantastic coffee, we tried yemeni coffee (mufawar)(jubani) they are amazing coffee drinks and the tast of the coffee is unique.. I really recommend it

The best of the best, the best atmosphere and great workers all around. They treat you like family when you come in here and make you feel like you are apart of them. Moshtak, the guy that works up front, is one of the best workers they have, checks in on all the customers every 10 minutes to make sure that they are all satisfied. If you want the best coffee in town, maybe even the state, I would 100% recommend them every single time

Excellent authentic drinks and desserts. Adani chai and Moroccan mint tea are my favorite.I wish batista were more engaging and informed on the products to elevate the experience. Food speaks for itself tho.

Never disappointed. My favorite drink is Mofawar, hot drink. Its just the perfect amount of spices and cream. I recommend letting the drink cool down for 5 minutes before drinking as it will be too hot. Dessert options include honeycomb with drizzle of honey on top and cheese inside. Very delicious, especially when it right out of the oven. The branch on Schaefer is cozy with good amount of seating.

I visited this place during our trip to Dearborn based on its google reviews, and let be honest that I was not any close to be impressed by this coffee shop. It is so small, and the tables are so close to each other in way that you could hear all your neighbor’s conversation (-1 star). Staff are not friendly nor welcoming (-1 star). The coffee looks horrible ( but tasted better than its look), I received my cup, and it was full, and overflowing(-1 star), so I asked to be replace in a bigger cup, and the employee wasn’t happy at all with my request (-1 star).

Great service and great food/drinks. This is one of the few places that stays consistent with what they make. The taste stays the same wether you order today or a week from now, which is something I really like and know what to expect.

Very nice place and they serve very good drinks .you can also customize your own and choose non dairy drinks which I mostly liked because Im not good with cows milk, I believe the reason that the place is good is the presence of the owner day and night there and he do most of the work by himself .I rarely go there and each time I go I find the owner himself serving drinks there,the only thing that I disliked is the space there and the cofee shop get crowded most often

I stopped by with other friends to check out this swiftly-renowned Yemenite cafe and I gotta tell you that after we had a pot of an ultra-delicious Yemenite mocha/latte, I’m now comfortable to say goodbye to Starbucks and Dunkin’. The high quality coffee ☕️ is like no other. The moment you step foot into the place and be greeted by a super pleasant and warm coffee aroma you know right away you’re in for some serious treat that’ll set your mood in the right direction. The world really owes it to Yemen 🇾🇪 for brewing the very first drinkable coffee! I finally understand why Yemenite coffee is of the utmost highest quality. The price is also right. The seating area is cozy with an extra seating area up in the mezzanine. Parking is free and plenty in back of place and on road. I highly recommend this place. You should certainly add it to your bucket list!

The Adeni Chai tea was awesome. Ive had Chai tea before but not like this. It was sweet, creamy and very flavorful. Lots of pastries to choose from. The Almonds Croissant was served warmed and was excellent. I also had a shot of espresso and it was first rate. The barista and wait staff were very friendly and helpful answering my questions.

Great tea and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff (I assume owner as well). Gave recommendations and samples. It was apparent to me that he has some regular customers as he got out what was needed to make drinks for some customers as soon as they walked in, just like a bartender does with their regular customers. We got stuff to take home and will return.

The owner is amazingly kind he makes you feel very welcome !!! I’ve tried the entire menu now and love everything. My favorite is the Yemeni latte. And now in the summer they offer the iced Yemeni latte as seen in the photo.

Honestly this place has very little seating, went here before going to the W Dearborn location. Unfortunately when I walked in, there was no seating and I had to wait to even place an order as it seemed there were not many employees. Regardless, I recommend the W Dearborn location especially if you’re going with family.

This place reminds me of home. Its one of the first places to bring the Yemeni culture to the market and have other people enjoy it. The background music and the decor make this place a great experience for Yemenis and non Yemenis alike. You can go there and spend some time with friends or even do some studying alone. The owner is very nice and their customer service is great. The drinks are on the pricier side for me but if you are willing to spend 5 dollars on a Starbucks drink, you shouldnt have a problem with this. Overall, I think this place is amazing and its a must try for Yemenis and for those who want to experience a bit of the Yemeni culture.

Everything is ok .But the man seen the manager post have an argue with my daughter only we demand the manager to put the tea in the tea pot and served with cups.and he refused to do I it. So we are very upset

The place is a gem! This is not your average Starbucks store. This is beyond a coffee shop! Although it’s small in size, it has something authentic from our heritage. It is very organized and clean. Customer service and employees are helpful and nice. The Jobali coffee or Sana’a coffee are the most delicious for those coffee lovers. The Yemeni Sabaya is beyond a treat especially when served crunchy with real Yemeni honey. The cost is slightly on the high end and above average price for a cup or a carafe of coffee or even having a treat at this coffee shop especially with family and friends; however, in my opinion it’s worth every penny. Coffee per pound is very expensive due to its import cost and place of harvesting in Yemen. I still highly recommend hanging out at this coffee shop and enjoy a great and flavorful cup of coffee or a treat.

No question about it, Qahwah House is the best coffee shop in Michigan! Our favorite order is the iced Yemeni latte with honey and the honeycomb bread is to dieee for! Their cheese and meat samboosas are the best we’ve had— that’s probably why they’re usually sold out 😋
