The staffs professionalism when I made my appointment was only a preview of this practices superior quality. As noted by other reviewers, the doctor is lovely. More importantly, she is clearly committed to utilizing the most up-to-date technology and research to ensure an accurate diagnosis. This exam went well beyond the typical Is this better? Or this? This or this?With a wide range of frames, the staff took their time to help me choose what was right for me - and no worries, it wasnt the most expensive. I am thankful I found such a great practice so close to home. I will be back and so will my family!

Id strongly recommend Dr. Therrien if you or your child need ortho-k lens. Ortho-k is the use of special contact lens for people with myopia. You wear the ortho-k lens only at night and get clear vision during day time. Some study also shows that ortho-k can slow down the progression of myopia. My child has been using ortho-k for about 3 years now. We tried two doctors and used an ortho-k brand called paragon CRT during the first year. The result was not very good. So we searched around and found Dr. Therrien. She uses another ortho-k brand called Wave. We decided to give it a try two years ago. Now two years have passed and we are very happy with the result. ortho-k itself is big subject and I dont want to get into much details on that. Id say if you have done your own research and decide to give your child ortho-k, from my experience, Dr. Therrien is the best doctor you can find locally for this treatment.

If you want to get the wrong prescription and worst service. come to this place.Dr. Jane Therrien seems to know too much to explain herself to others going too deep with her explanations that can forget a very basic eye dilation. That simple procedure, as far as we can find online, is not mandatory but it is an important step for thorough eye examination.1st red flag that I ignored was when she said, Im going to fix you in the middle of her frustration by not finding the right lenses during the this ones better, or this one test process. Again without eye dilation....Simple eye dilation would help? would never know because she has take too much avangard technoclgy trainings lately that has forgoten the basice eye exam 101 resulting in a wrong prescription.Anyway, I pay for the exams and my contact lenses. taking the temporary wrongly prescribed contact lenses home for transitioning and adaptation. The reason why I couldnt see well with these, was because I needed to adapt.Expecting that the prescription was going to come good on the actual contact lenses ordered. I waited patiently for 3 months.When calling for a refund, the receptionist/office manager indicated that the refund was not justified as I was supposed to call, give them the chance to adjust the prescription, and follow up for the delay of the contact lenses.I have been in the service industry from both sides of the counter... and good reliable service will turn a client to a customer.I was a client to the Weston Family Eye Care only once... but never will be a customer. They simply do not know what they are doing... learning in the practice and do not understand the service industry,In 2021, customer are not responsible for customer service and following up.My recommendation, is to save yourself from being part of Dr. Jane lab test... save time and money somewhere else with a Dr. that already know what to do and how to serve.

Last week I went into Weston Family Eyecare to adjust my glasses. Despite the fact I had not bought my glasses there, Betsy was friendly, helpful and so kind. She adjusted my glasses to perfection, and did not charge me a dime. Nice environment, helpful staff. A refreshing breath of fresh air. Thank you Betsy. Highly recommend.

Dr. Therrien and her staff are amazing. We have been coming here for the past 5 years. Last year we got my daughter (10 year old) Ortho K lenses. Best decision ever made. When we first got the lenses, the staffs were very patient in teaching my daughter, almost took an hour to learn how to wear contacts.

My experience having my eyes examined and glasses fitted at Weston Family Eyecare was as close to perfect as I could expect. Dr. Jane Therrien is a wonderful Optometrist who is warm, friendly and professional from the very first greeting. I felt welcomed into the office from my first phone call and when I met her staff, it was comfortable and inviting, clean and great energy. High class.Dr. Therrien is a Board-Certified Optometrist who was eager to make me feel right at home, and from the beginning of my exam, she listened to my personal issues with past eye glasses from lesser quality optical stores, those BOGO deals that don’t offer the highest quality lenses that my prescription requires. I have been losing clear vision with blurring issues for many years, and Dr. Therrien went right to work explaining her expertise and technology that she uses to uncover the most difficult to diagnose and treat eye problems.I spent about an hour in private consultation & exam with the doctor, and her thorough procedures uncovered issues that several other optometrists in recent years apparently either missed or just plain didn’t disclose. Dr. Therrien had the utmost confidence from the start that there would be no problems with helping me to regain clear vision, and was comfortable recommending a specialist doctor that would handle specific issues with care. To describe her best would be compassionate.I was most impressed with the high-tech tools at her disposal to help me not only get the perfect fit and prescription but also diagnose real problems with my eyes that needed special attention. There was a fully digital eye exam machine connected to a laptop, with a digital eye chart on the wall. Also, a type of diagnostic machine for the retina which essentially was a digital thermographic scanner and LED imager (like an MRI only for the eyes). The results were displayed on a big 34-inch monitor that showed my eyes in all their retina glory!When choosing, and fitting the frames & lenses, I opted to go the extra mile and use another hi-tech machine (Visio Office?) to custom fit the lenses to my moving eyes digitally in 3D. I love the frames; they make me feel like I am not even wearing anything. The optician (Cindy) was professional and very helpful, knowledgeable and made the whole experience a pleasure.I have been wearing my new glasses for about two weeks now and I can say with confidence it was a wonderful experience and I am ecstatic to have my near perfect vision restored. I see better than I have in over 10 years. I would recommend this office to anyone. Thank you Dr. Therrien and staff!

Dr. Therrien and her staff are very friendly and caring. Extremely efficient. I wish their office was close to where I live but it’s worth the drive to experience this great service.

I usually hate going for any type of check up, expecting long waits and impersonal staff, but this IS NOT THAT TYPE OF PLACE. The ladies at the front are awesome, even during this rediculas pandemic and all the extra precautions. The Doc is awesome, professional and quick.

Excellent staff and service. Before my appointment there were issues with verifying my insurance I got calls ahead of time to fix the problem and when I arrived with additional documents the staff knocked it out real quick.I opted for everything offered, very thorough eye exam, friendly staff, the Dr. Was very informative, friendly and fun to talk to. Explained everything, made lots of recommendations but was never pushy for one thing or another, just what she thought was best . I loved it and look forward to being a regular patient and recommending my spouse to go as well.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! Dr, Therrien and her staff are wonderful, I have never experience such amazing service. I had an emergency and they took care of me right away very attentive and caring.

Ive seen many doctors in my time. However, none have shown as much warmth, compassion, and enthusiasm as Dr. Therrien. It wasnt just the doctor, everyone that works there was kind, and showed a high level of care. Im already trying to get my family and friends to go. I cant wait to get my new pair of glasses!

Great service. They had a lot of patients with me. It must have took me 2 hrs to put my contacts in but they just encouraged me. They are awesome and really seem to care about you. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

I want to applaud Brandi on her professionalism and customer service with a nasty patient. I stopped in and witness a patient being very nasty to her and she apologized the whole time and patient was so nasty to her, when it wasn’t even Brandi’s fault she stepped in place for her team and was very apologetic and she held it in place with a smile on her face.As the patient left she threw something at her and Brandi picked it up and said no problem and have a excellent day.If she would’ve came in my place of business she would’ve been escorted when she raised her voice but this has taught me customer service goes a long way she was trained very well.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Therrien at Weston Family EyeCare for years! She is welcoming, experienced, and extremely professional. I would never visit another eye doctor.First, the facility is clean and inviting. The front desk staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The insurance process is quick. (Of course this could vary on your type of insurance). After I dilated my eyes, I had some sensitivity to the light and the front desk girl helped me pick out glasses that would complement my face at an affordable price.Next, the office has advanced technology and Dr. Therrien is clear with communicating what is the best prescription for your specialized needs.I particularly chose to get the NeuroLens with my prescription because I have to use a computer for the majority of my day. WOW!!! What a change! No more headaches. No more dry, red, scratchy eyes. No more light sensitivity. No more neck pain. No more discomfort at the computer.I highly recommend Dr. Therrien, her office, and NeuroLens!

I had an appointment at 8 am. I was there on time but the door was locked, lights off. I called no answer, finally went to the door again, this time to find a staff member who seemed half asleep and gave a very lethargic apology that they were running late today. She didnt seem too concerned that I had been waiting.Once in the door, I realized the doctor wasnt there. When I asked, the staff person said she had to call her. After making the call, she said the doctor was on her way. Im sorry but this is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. The staff member behind the counter offered little reassurance, so I left. My time is much more valuable than this. Still no call offering an apology or explanation. Very poor customer service. Wont be back.

The staff and optometrist are very nice. The office is very clean. Be prepared for the hard sell and know what your insurance will pay for and what it won’t.

Will definitely be coming back! Dr. Therrien was very sweet and patient. As a mom who does not wear glasses, having a child who needs them can be confusing and overwhelming. She took her time to explain how my daughter sees and even put lenses on my eyes to see the way she does. I dont have vision insurance but they offer a discount to uninsured patients as well. I highly recommend you pay her a visit. Any wait time (not much) is worth the quality examination you will receive when it is your turn.

Was not happy, last time I took my daughter in to have her eyes checked we waited a half hour. After aski g the front desk how long we were going to have to wait she told me the doctor was stuck in traffic. I asked why we were not told this when we arrived as we were the first appt of the morning and she did not have a reason. I think Doctors offices seem to think their time is more important than their clients which it is not and a common courtesy call or explanation upon arrival would have gone a long way. The excuses did not make sense either since the doctor did not live that far from her office.

Dr Jane Therrien and everyone I have interacted with at her office have never been anything less than stellar to me and my family. You are treated like a real person. .. not just some number. They genuinely care about their patients and I whole heartedly recommend her to anyone who needs glasses, contacts or just wants an eye check up.As a complete rookie getting my first contact lenses, they were fantastically patient with me, repeatedly demonstrating proper technique and eye care for me.Based on my experience, I cannot imagine a better eye doctor or staff.

I was very pleased with Dr. Jane M. Therrien and staff, this was my first visit to the office. The doctor suggested simple cost effective remedies for my dry eyes that had never been brought to my attention by others. The doctor spent a good deal of time with me, she was very thorough and explained everything in laymens terms! The wait for my appointment was less than five minutes and the staff was extremely attentive. I decided to purchase my glasses through the office, there was a wide selection of choices and the staff was very customer service oriented. A great office, convenient location and they accepted my insurance. I would definitely recommend this office.

I currently wear glasses, but needed new ones made because it had been about 3 years since I got the ones I was using. The first time I made an appointment they called and cancelled my appointment the day before because the doctor was going to be out unexpectedly. I should have taken this as an omen.Eventually I made another appointment and made it into the office. I had a thorough eye exam and when it came time to have my new glasses made I was VERY CLEAR about what I wanted. No frills, no thrills. I needed glasses that did exactly what my current ones did. I could read the computer screen, a book and even at a distance of several feet (TV screen from the couch). I was told these were progressives. Since I am not an eyeglass expert I nodded and just said I wanted my new glasses to work the way my old ones did. I admit I did not bring my old ones in as an example, but these are professionals so I assumed they would know what I was talking about.I spent almost $400 (not including the amount that my insurance was covering). They tried to upsell me some special coatings, yada yada, but I kept saying K.I.S.S. I just wanted what I needed to be able to work and read.FFWD a week and my glasses were ready. I went in to pick them up and immediately I knew something was wrong. When I wore them I felt like the room was spinning all around me. I couldnt move my head because I would feel like I was on a roller coaster with everything except what was DIRECTLY in front of me at eye level distorting. I said EXACTLY this and was told I needed a week to get use to them because I had probably never used progressive lenses.FFWD another week and I went back to return them because I kept getting dizzy and was unable to use the glasses for more than 5 minutes at a time. I was then told that they would redo the lenses exactly the way I needed them. This time I brought in my old glasses and showed them.Another week went by and I picked up the new glasses. I tested them onsite and could tell right away that they were utterly USESLESS except for reading something that is EXACTLY 12 inches from my face. Any further and they immediately blur. I was told that I could only have the lenses fixed once so I now own a $350+ pair or readers.Im very much about saying exactly whats on my mind, but the second time I went in I had my son with me and didnt want him to see me as upset as I really was.Since there are others that have posted good experiences I can only assume someone was asleep at the wheel when they made mine. I used the good reviews to pick this place, but I will never again use this facility for anything eye related and I will advise anyone that asks me to beware if they decide to do so.
