I was there with my mother for groceries. We bought 2 itmes, sesame oil and red pepper paste. When we came back home, we found that the due date of the red pepper paste already past 2 years. The shop owner hid the due date by marking price on it. We went back for the refund, and she just kept say she didnt sell this. Eventhough we had a receipt, she just ignored us. This was the only store weve shopped for few weeks and she said we bought it from somewhere else. We argued with her for few more minutes, and finally she gave our $5 back. But it was really tough and rude. It was really bad experience and would never go there again.
The clerk was very nice. I found what I came for and a few things more...
The owner is really nice and friendly! The price is also very reasonable :)
When I was out looking one night for sesame oil for my wife, with the Oriental Food Market a couple blocks away closed, I came here. When I walked in there was no one to be found, it felt a bit odd. Although soon a couple employees came out of the back.Great variety and an excellent Asian food store, with just about everything you would ever need for culinary experiences from that region. All I needed was sesame oil though, and thats all I purchased. It was approximately $6, and when the lady rang me up at check out, she lamented the fact that I didnt have cash, even though it was clearly displayed on the store that cards were accepted. It even seemed like she wanted to charge me more because I could only pay with a card.I dont mind cash-only stores, but if you display that you accept credit cards, you shouldnt berate your customers for using one. While she was generally pleasant enough, attitudes like that with your customers are a bit off-putting. Thankfully there was enough variety that I would likely return if I needed something specific from the store.
The person that was at the counter was soooo nice and when i asked about something she knew exactly what i wantedthis is a great store
They have a great selection.
A locally owned downtown gem for over 40 years. This place is family owned and operated. Literally hundred of noodle choices. Fresh herbs at a fraction of the price of Hyvee. Several kinds of basil to choose from!!! Fresh Vietnamese sandwiches on Friday and Saturday.
Great as always
Very nice, Thai basil is great and I picked up a new type of green to eat and they told me how to prepare it. Going back for sure!!
I find it very pleasing, their bananas might through you off track by looks but they taste delicious! Very wide selection of noodles and of course fresh foods.
Their beauty supply store was really nice, and it had all of the appliances I needed, along with some of the discontinued Gelish and Morgan Taylor Polish
Everything would expect from a Vietnamese grocery store. Super nice super friendly loved it
Good Selection of Oriental Grocery Items
