On October 11, 2021, my 2018 Ford Explorer suddenly experienced mechanical issues. I arrived at Dahl Ford expecting to use the key drop and calling a friend for a ride. After all, it was after 5:30 and service was officially closed.However, the showroom was still open. I was immediately greeted by not one, but two sales professionals. In less than 20 minutes, I was in a loaner and on my way. The next morning, I received a call saying that thanks to the extended warranty I purchased, my repair was only the $100.00 deducible. The following day, my Explorer was ready to go. They even washed it for me!When Dahl Ford says they will take care of your vehicle, they really mean, Well take care of you and your family. I called & made an appointment because my engine light came on. They lady at the service desk was helpful & got my appointment scheduled fairly quickly. When I arrived, I was unsure of where to go. A salesman did say hello, however I still didnt know where to go. I walked into the service station & chatted with a lady working the desk. She was very friendly & asked me to pull my car in. So I did, but still wasnt clear on where to pull in at(straight or right). Luckily a service tech was close by & pointed to the right. Everyone was very friendly, especially the driver of the shuttle! He was a hoot! With all of this being said, the only thing Id have to complain about is being kind of uncomfortable as I didnt know where to go when I arrived.

I just had my 2008 Mercury Milan in for service on an idler pulley bolt that kept breaking. The Dahl Ford service team brought in an engineer to manufacture a bolt specifically for my car and for the problem I was having with it. They kept working toward a solution and I appreciate their persistence and professionalism.

Finance people dont listen. The individual that surpose to get you the best rate and try to get you what you want, is very questionable. Obviously the saying customer is always right, especially in what they want doesnt apply anymore. Its what the dealership workers want you to get regardless. And then if u dont like the vehicle you get charged a restocking fee of $499. I will not be sending business this companies way. I believe I was treated unfairly and unjustifiable. I requested for a truck or at least offer me a SUV. Oh they offered me what looked like a compact escape SUV ( that no one wants, they r death traps) and a sedan. Thats all Im good for. Well I went back in to see about something else. And it was a straight out no. Smh. Im sorry the car dealerships are having a hard time but dont take it out on those that want and love a specific vehicle. Smh. I will be calling for a ride to and from work this winter. Thankyou

Dropped my truck off for a oil change and alignment because I am heading to New York for work after the weekend and wanted to get some maintenance done before the trip. I dropped it off at 8:30am at 3:30pm I received a text saying the alignment was most likely going to go fro $130ish to $600-700 because my truck is lifted and has big tires and that means I’ll have to change out some stock parts for aftermarket ones and that it’s going to be a bigger job than expected. I bought my truck with big tires and a lift from a Ford dealer and it drove perfect when I bought it so the explication doesn’t make much sense to me. Finally after waiting a hour and a half for my shuttle to show up after they said he was on the way (it’s a 25 minute drive) I am finally heading back to my truck at 5:15 and all that was accomplished was an oil change. Also now I get to scramble to try and get it aligned before I leave Monday morning.

Things was disappointing today.Had to take my car in today at 9:15 and was told it would be ready by 12:30 and didnt receive a call saying anything. Had to call myself around 2:00 just to find out they had backup and my car wouldnt be ready til 4:00. Had to get a ride to work and had to leave work to pick it up and my car still wasnt right after driving it out.Had to turn around and have them check it again...The wrong part was put in the wrong place..But things turned around after they checked it out.I will have to be set up with another appointment and they will do everything free of charge...I only wish they could have expressed this or gave me a loaner til things was okay. Because I lost out in my overtime...But I still care about them,because everyone is human and makes mistakes...Dahl Ford have some caring individuals...

On May 21st 2020 I went in for a oil change and to have a noise looked into. A friend of mine works there and I have also gotten my current vehicle from them before which was a 2013 Ford Explorer so when I get there this day They want to show me some vehicles. I said numerous times than I wasnt sure and really didnt think that I needed to do that at the time so they tell me to take this truck home for the weekend and think about it I it also said if I got another vehicle I would also want to get my daughters a vehicle at the same time so I had some thinking to do. during this time I realize that the back windows dont roll down from the back you have to have the driver roll them down and it would stall when you come to a stop. Their fix was then that I could just get the extended warranty and him that would fix it all. I told them I just wanted my Explorer back and was told that it was too late for that. I knew that that couldnt be right but I didnt know what to do so I went back in And they had me sign some papers to see if I could get a loan. And as it turns out I could not they had me hire a company called Lexington to try and help clear up my credit. I did do that however they do not work miracles. So 5 months went by and I go out one morning in the truck is gone. So I call to find out what were gonna do as far as my Explorer that I left with them and they tell me that I forfeited that by not paying this struck. . That was a 2013 limited edition explore that I had paid the cash for. And I was left with nothing. I also found out later that They try getting a loan in my name by several different banks when I only OK them to try one. I trusted them because one of them was what I thought a friend of mine and And had no trouble whatsoever with my previous vehicle I still cannot believe that this happened and now I have no vehicle

I know when I come in I will be taken care of, prices are always fair and I know I can put my trust in them. Hands down the best customer service Ive ever had anywhere at any dealership. I stopped in to get a oil change and arrive five minutes early and they took me in and I waited no more than 15 minutes max. They then called me to tell me my truck was done, I signed the paperwork and was out the door less than 30 minutes combined. This is now my new go-to service center in the Quad City area.

WOW What can I say. I am a truck man since my first new 2004 F-150. Today I purchased my first non-F150 vehicle and Doug Stoltenberg helped me through the process. He showed us (my wife and I) several Explorers and did a test drives in them all. He was very knowledgeable with the vehicles technology and trim packages. When we didnt enjoy a particular package he offered to go get the first test vehicle to compare. you can do that? I asked. He said of course! We ended up purchasing the first vehicle. We were in the market for a new car. I knew Rick Humphrey had recently started with Dahl Ford, so I reached out to him to see if he had anything we liked in our price range. He went through a number of vehicles, sent pictures, backgrounds, and features on several vehicles. We settled on a 2017 Escape Titanium that my Wife fell in love with. We set an appointment to come look at it and test drive it. Rick was very knowledgeable on the features of the vehicle during the test drive. Once we settled on the Escape, we sat down to do the paperwork. It went quick and easy, Doug the VIP Sales Mgr stopped by to make sure everything was going well. Alan Jackson noticed I was a little uncomfortable in my chair and went out of his way to bring me a larger more comfortable chair. All the paperwork was done and it was off to the finance office. With sweaty palms and a rapid heart rate, we were introduced to Mike Ohms. He made us feel welcome and comfortable. After a couple computer glitches we owned our new car and were on our way.Then we get a call from Rick a few days later, I figured it was just a follow up to see how everything was gping. He informed me I needed to call Mike Ohms in finance. As it turns out, a loan with better terms and payments came through. Rather than just let the original contract ride, he went out of his way to send us new paperwork for the new rates.The entire staff worked tirelessly to make sure we had a vehicle that fit us and our lifestyle and even followed up after with a better deal. I have never been here and will not ever go here. I was driving down eastern avenue yesterday behind one of their vehicles. A black van type with Dahl Ford written down the side. As we were driving the person in the drivers seat rolled down the window and tossed a black trash bag out the window. Nit to mention they swerved into oncoming traffic as they grabbed the bag. When you are representing a company you should act professionally. Last time I checked, littering is not ok.

I’ve bought three cars and this truck at Dahl. Shift cable broke while towing travel trailer about 30 minutes from Dahl’s location. Called them to arrange having it repaired. (Understand that I’m stranded now.) Was told by service dept. it would be two weeks before they’d even look at it. Had it towed to a Chevy dealer 40 miles away and they started working on it the next day. Bye bye, Dahl! Never going to see me again!

Justin in the body shop went above and beyond to help me out today. My bumper got popped out of its clips on a storm and he popped it back in and replaced the bolt that fell out within minutes. Very friendly and quick service, these guys do a great job. Saved the cross country road trip for a couple of strangers!

I was called by the receptionist at the dealership and was told they wanted me to come in with my car for an estimate to buy my used ford sport Trac I get in their and find out that it was a ploy to get me to come in for a new car and mine for a trade not what the lady made it sound on the phone,I was upset to find out that they were not offering to buy my car unless it was a trade for my used car. I wouldnt suggest anyone to buy a car from this dealership that practice this kind of tactics.

We were traveling to a college track meet. Our expedition had a front wheel bearing go out dropping down and cut the rim in halfWe called Dahl Ford and they got us a wrecker quick and we also asked for a rental. We left for the track meet thinking it would be several days before it would be fixedI got a call from the service manager and she said it was fixed! This was 4:00pm,, she said when we brought back the rental to call her and she would warm it up,,, it was 5degrees out. They didnt know us at all we were from central Illinois and gave us the best service I have ever had. Such a great bunch of people to work with

I had great Service. What I would like is an answer on how to disable the control on the windshield wipers. I am able to lift the arms and clean the blades when the car is off or when I use auto start. The arms are locked in place when I just start the car. Situation is that when I have been driving and the blades clump up with ice. I am not able to put the car in park, get out and lift the arms to clean them. If I turn the car off to clean them the the window is not bring defrosted.

My husband and I have bought two brand new cars from Javier in the past two months. My family and I have been very loyal to another local Ford Dealership--buying 8 plus cars from them. We went to the other dealership and were offered a very low number for our trade and the customer service was horrible. The next day we went to see Javier! He gave us a fair price for a trade and we received amazing customer service. We were able to get the car we wanted at the car payment we wanted. You cant get better than that!!! The finance manager was great too! He was not pushy and was straight forward. Javier worked very hard for us to get both of these cars (a little harder for my husbands car) and we greatly appreciate it!! We will no longer have to think when we want a new car... we know we will go to Javier. Dahl Ford has a great asset and we look forward to doing more business in the future.

So far they have been great. Scott in the body shop has been very helpful especially when the insurance company was being difficult.Follow up. Since my car came back totalled I had to buy a new car. So I stopped back in to see what they could do. I want really expecting to buy from them, I already had another dealership in mind to buy from but the salesperson assigned to me, Doug, was very honest and up front. He worked diligently to get me the best deal and he did. I only expected to put in a used car and was able to get into a brand new 2018 at a great interest rate. The staff at Dahl ford truly go above and beyond to make sure you are 100% comfortable and satisfied with your purchase.So my experience overall has been fantastic, everyone that was involved in everything from the body shop, to sales, to service center, and to financing has been the best overall experience at a dealership Ive ever had and would highly recommend them.
