Did a great job. When I had an issue with some rust on the roof, the owner took it back, no problem, and went above and beyond by giving me a free rhino coat for the roof after it was sanded down and repainted! The rhino undercoat is superb. Ive extended the body life of my truck by decades.

I have a 2002 gmc envoy and a very common issue is trailing arm brackets rust off the frame and upon purchasing the car I didn’t notice they were almost at the breaking point so when it happened I looked up all kinds of ways to fix it and every time I got the same result (junk it) but I wasn’t ready to give up so I called every shop I could find from Wisconsin to Missouri (I’m in Illinois) and all of them said that they couldn’t do it then I heard about LT WALTER CO . I figured why not try one more so I explained the issue and his first response was YES we can fix it and his confidence with the situation made me very comfortable to have him work on my car and it took him 2 days but he fixed it and it is professional quality work I’m very proud to recommend this business to anyone I know lt walter will get all of my future business

L.T. Walter Co. truly saved the day for me. They performed a lot of extensive repairs on my vehicle. L.T., and his mechanics, took the time to explain to me what was wrong with my car. Not only were all my concerns regarding my vehicle addressed but they, also, took me out to my car, in their garage, and showed me everything that was wrong with my car. They replaced all the Brake Pads and Rotors and I feel totally safe. The brake work is fabulous! My engine is no longer over heating since LT patiently took the time to find out why my radiator was continuously losing antifreeze. The Intake Valve was replaced and now my engine is functioning a 100% better than before... no more overheating. L.T. made sure I made it home safely after I left my vehicle in his care and picked me up when the repairs were completed. He has a couple of really competent mechanics who assist in the repairs at the shop. They are all highly knowledgeable in Mechanics and motivated to get the job done in a timely manner. Now, My vehicle rides like a new car!!! Ill never go to another a repair shop.

My Chevy Trailblazer works great now after you fixed the frame. You can not even see where the door was smashed in. It opens and shuts just fine. The paint job perfect. They helped me out so much. Had a tie rod snap on my car and Im from out if town. They were able to get me in first thing in the morning when the part came in. They were very friendly, fast service and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone. And if I am ever in town and need more work done, this is where I will be going.

Repaired the frame on my 99 dodge work van at a very reasonable price. I was faced with perhaps scrapping the van and losing the $1200.00 that had been spent on rebuilding the transmission, not to mention the $500 in tires. Very relieved to be able to keep the van and continue using it.

Will gladly take your money, but not liable for his mistakes. Charged my mother in law for brakes he didnt touch. Car was not even touched. Shady business

I bought a 89 cavalier Z24, which had a rusted out frame. This guys work was impressive. I thought the car was going to be scrap. He turned into something that looked factory new. I am not exaggerating a bit.

I have had them do body work and paint jobs on a few of my vehicles, and they have done outstanding work. My brother and good friend have also had them restore their vehicles over 15 years ago and they are both in perfect condition like the day they left the paint booth. I am currently having them do the body work and paint on my 73 Olds Delta 88 Royale convertible and have been extremely satisfied with their progress, and cant wait to see the finished job as all of the work he has done for me, family, or friends has stood the test of time!

In my experience, LT has always been fair and willing to work with his customers. He is an owner that cares about the satisfaction of his customers.As consumers it is on us to speak up if there is an issue or we are unhappy with the job, service or cost; give whatever business you are working with the chance to make it right.Only when we, the customer, have done what we can do asked the business owner to make it right and they arent willing to do so, should we be bashing them in media of any kind.

LT has always been honest and fair in any of the muktiple times he has seviced my multiple vehicles. I only take my vehicles to this shop as when we havent we ended up paying outrageous amounts and still have to to bring it down to LT and the other mechanics. My vehicle is due for maintenance so it will be in shortly as this is the mechanic and shop that I trust.

Took Lt to court yesterday . He said the right way to prime is lay it on thick and if it runs all you do is sand or block it down .He does not have a paint booth he just hangs a tarp. I have primer overspray all over the black paint .Also made me pay in full for work that was never done or done poorly.Called me a sh_ _ head and hung up on me.After 7 months I sent a wrecker. Radiater had no coolant and the fan rubed on the shroud. Also was missing parts like the battery and fuel tank straps.No stars had to put one for it to postHad to park in street so as not to get blocked in.

Lied up and down about the quality and condition of the car. Service is passable. Knowledge is less than passable. Not pleased.

This is the only place I will take my car. 98 Cadillac and LT keeps me running. Hes done my shocks, replaced faulty sensors, and a new a/c compressor. I can trust that he is honest and always does the job right!

Do NOT buy anythingfrom this place, theyre incredibly shady and very disrespectful. They had initially lied about the amount of miles on the vehicle A little over 200k as the advertisement was posted turned into 320, XXX. I had asked for a title, they advised me to call Melissa the following day, I did, she had said it would be sent out the same day. Week and a half later I had still not received the titled. I called back and she had apologized and said they would send it immediately. I called five days later asked where it was, evidently Melissa was on vacation and that she would deliver it within the next half hour, I had called two hours later and she said that she sent it . As I proceeded to explain to her that this is very inconvenient for me she handed the phone to the owner of this fly by night repair shop / dealership. He explained to me how busy they were and that my language is an issue. He immediately said after he had said why dont you come here and get it I said shortly after he needs to mail it out today or I will not hesitate to call the Police or The Secretary of State to file a complaint. After I had threatened legal action he said he was going to tear it up. DO NOT, buy anything from this business they will scam you, lie to you and even threaten you.

No titles or previous owner information, refused to be upfront about the accident history, straight up lied about the title being a salvage, tried selling it as no issues or problems. Jerome must be on some kind of drugs the way he walks and talks, madee feel intimidated. Very sad place.

Very nice people but they take shortcuts on body repairs. I had my 2003 Mustang brought in to fix rust spots and to get fully painted. I also wanted to change the color to white from its original black. They did fix all the rust spots but they did a VERY poor job painting my car. My quarter panel also ended up with uneven curve. They ruined my outside trim and Ill probably have to replace most of it. They also didnt wetsand properly or paint it evenly. My side mirrors werent taken off so the paint on my door around it looks awful. Theres other corners that werent properly painted so theyre already cracked like my side scoops and above my rear liscene plates. To top it all off, my fog lights were pretty much painted white, almost as if they werent even covered. Theres white paint all over my trim from the front of the car, all the way to back. My interior was also painted white and they cleaned and polished my interior. It ended up extremely dirty and with gunk all over my interior. All in all, for the price I paid, I guess I shouldve expected such a poor job. If youre on a budget, Id recommend saving and avoiding having to use this place if you care about your car. This review is based of a full body work, I have no experience with their mechanics so maybe they know what theyre doing.

This shop put my wheel bearing in backwards so now my ABS and VSA no longer work. when i asked them to fix the issue, they said to bring it in. I did, and 3 hours later they said it doesnt have to go in a certain way it must be your computer. after confirmed with Honda that it DOES in fact have to go in a certain way for my ABS and VSA to work, i called them back and they told me i would have to purchase another wheel bearing. when i didnt agree, he just hung up on me. i should not have to tell them how to do their job, nor should i be held financially responsible for their mistakes. the only reason i went here in the first place was because they were the only shop open late on a saturday. I have already put in a complaint with the better business bureau. i would rather let my car sit out of commision for a month to go to a more reputable shop. VERY DISAPPOINTING! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!
