I went for Sunday brunch around 1:30pm. Its self-seating but you have to wait in line to order your food. Fortunately, I was able to order drinks and dessert from the table later on. Outside of a 30 min wait in line, I had a great overall experience.I got the shrimp & grits, which came out quickly (even before our drinks did), a strawberry mimosa, a pineapple-orange mimosa, and the vanilla cake cheesecake. Love the variety of mimosa flavors and dessert. I wanted to order the red velvet cheesecake but they ran out. All the food was delicious and the mimosas were just right!!The venue is cute and jazzy, but its very small so the wait is almost inevitable on the weekends between 11-3 pm. The servers were friendly and accommodating which helped make the experience worth waiting in line. I will definitely be returning, but Ill make sure to get there closer to 11.
Soirée Coffee Bar is super kewl. It’s a great place to get a locally brewed coffee in Trinity Groves. I don’t know who runs it or owns it but the staff and clientele are very nice and gentile. I recommend this place for a good conversation, some wifi to get business or school work done or just a nice place to relax while waiting for friends to show up. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Had their mouth-watering Monte Cristo Sandwich, very delicious. The Ellas Fitzgerald Latte was very good as well. The service was outstanding. Thisup-scale coffeehouse has an awesome ambience, the decor is great, and the jazz music playing in the background was a very welcome addition. Really sets the mood for relaxation. If your coming here, to get great food, awesome coffee, and amazing service; whether on-the-go or wanting to hang out, chill, work on your laptop, or study...this is the place!
Great atmosphere but horrible food experience. I paid 22 dollars for 3 pieces of Belgium waffles and 4 fried Pieces of jackfruit that came out very cold and old. Im not one to complain but so did my friends food. It was cold on one side and hot on the other like it was placed in the microwave b4 coming out. I knew it wasnt fresh because it took 2 min to get to the table from my order time.. I will not be returning. Food is too expensive to come out of the microwave.
This place is amazing! Im no connoisseur but the iced coffee I had was perfect to me. The avocado toast and curry chicken were delectable. I was so happy to find this place. We went on a Sunday afternoon, sat on the patio, and the food was amazing. We will be getting there early if we go on Sundays from now on because they ran out of many menu items today. We will definitely be returning and I will be buying my coffee from here going forward. I definitely recommend this place.
Absolutely love this place, I love the jazz theme of the coffee shop. It makes me feel relaxed and comfortable. Im not a coffee drinker but this is now my go to place to meet with friends and associates who do.Love that it is black own and the owners and staff are all great people. The customer service, breakfast, and music are good. They also have bar, in case you wanted an alcoholic beverage.I enjoy going there to start my day.
Great atmosphere, and delicious food. I actually tried both the oxtails and chicken n waffles. The salted caramel waffles could have used more salted caramel flavor but they tasted great. The chicken had a great seasoning on it and it paired well with the waffles, a plus it had no bones. The oxtails over grits let me down in the grit department, the grits weren’t done. They needed maybe 3-4 more minutes and it would have been a perfect dish. I gave them a 5 star because the atmosphere along with the great customer service that was shown by the owner to our table was 5 star! I will definitely be back for brunch with my friends
Awesome place. Great food. Great smoothie. Relaxing. Will be back every chance I get.
We had a great time, i enjoyed everything about this beautiful place. Today we came to the pop up shop with Chef Benjamin and i was not disappointed with absolutely nothing.. the food was hot, fresh and delicious, the mimosa was tasty and good, the live music was soothing, her choice of songs were perfect for the venue and the atmosphere, just made it all the more tranquil and enjoyable!!
This space is a gem 💎!! So thankful to have a classy coffee shop in Dallas. It’s a black owned business that exudes Excellence... from the decor, customer service, to the price and pastries used. Everything in the shop has been created and/ or crafted by other black owned businesses— from the tiles on the floor to the bottled water being served. What a way to circulate the dollar in our community! I look forward to what will unfold with Soiree.I am NOT a coffee drinker, I repeat, I DO NOT drink coffee but, the vibration here makes me want to support. The Billie Holiday is delish by the way. love to come here to work, Journal and meet some really great people. On the weekends, they host a brunch with the Brunchaholics. Definitely, check out the space. Tell them Lori sent you!
All I can say is wow! My sons and I went for a lunch treat and I was floored! The vibe was incredible. Wonderful staff and the food was well thought out and very tasty, not to mention surprisingly filling. We enjoyed the jazzy toast and tea and coffee. I personally had the avocado toast with heirloom tomatoes and that soiree sauce SET IT OFF!! It was delicious! And the chamomile tea was the real deal! My oldest son ordered 3 croissants they were so good; meanwhile my youngest son was thrilled witg his Cristo, (no ham). He said it looked as good as it tastedI would highly recommend it and will be returning to see what the night time vibe will be like!! I can only imagine with that baby grand piano!Go and have an incredible Soiree!!
This is a jewel in the city. Warm, friendly, and serene amid the bustle of the big city. My first time visiting was Friday past. We had such a good time, we forgot about our next meeting. Its 1.2 miles from my office in Uptown and is a perfect place to meet clients. The staff is genuine and kind. I left my bag there, they graciously kept it, waited until I called, and reassured me they held it in safekeeping. Will most definitely be back. Well done!
I have been here several times for brunch and it has not disappointed. It has a great atmosphere and friendly service. I love the musical acts they have each weekend. I would highly recommend.
We just tried this place for the first time and the atmosphere, vibe, and customer service is on point. I am giving it 4 stars vs 5 because my chicken was over cooked and dry with my chicken and waffle order. The waffles were very good. Also the eggs with the biscuit and gravy are carton eggs and the biscuit was hard. Other then that most of the food had a good taste. And the mimosa are very good. I will definitely try it again and ask them not to overcook and dry out the chicken.
IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A 10 - I WOULD!!!! I absolutely LOVE this place. I LOVE the owners as well. You do have to show up early on the weekends to catch a table and live music, but it is worth it. The owners are very involved so you will see them walking around talking to everyone and making them feel at home. The music is always great! I have invited several friends and family and they love it here too! GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY!
I’ve eaten here twice. I’ll start off by saying the food itself is amazing. The atmosphere is top notch and there’s always been live music every time I went. However, each plate is over $20 or more. There is no waiter service; you order your food at the front counter and they give you a number. When your food does come out, it’s more than likely microwaved or kept under a hot light. You can tell this because the plates are hotter than the food. You have to remember to order all your drinks at the counter because, once again, no actual waiters. If you need some hot sauce for example you have to wave down someone and hope to god they can hear you over the live music. If I’m spending over $60 each time for a Sunday brunch date, I’d at least expect someone checking in on me to see if my needs are met and I’d expect the $24 shrimp and grits plate to be piping fresh.
This place is beautiful!!! The atmosphere is so warm and inviting! The owners are so visible and helping out. Mimosas were complimentary—now you know I loved that part!! We came for brunch as well. I had The Ella latte— it was so good and I really wanted another one but that line changed my mind. We ordered the chicken & waffles which was delish! Didn’t take long to come either and we were starving! I also picked up the 5 flavor Bundt cake for my hubby and he approved! I cannot wait to come back to try more things and of course another The Ella!!! Whew, I’m thirsty right now!**A suggestion would be to make a separate line for coffee drinkers only; I know several people that left due to the long line.
First time in and I will say,it was a really great experience. There was a wait because of social distancing and seating. This isnt a place you go for just coffee, but if you do call ahead for just coffee.Other wise you have to wait.Today was brunch all day day and there was a bourbon chicken biscuit, babe and son said it was alright.Im here to talk about the shrimp and grits. My shrimp was thick and great. The sauce they smothered it in was good and hot. My grits had spots that were cold, which is why I gave a 4.I understand parts may be pre made, I just write my pros and cons. Ill definitely be back. The mimosas are only $2 but theyre pre made. So, a little more juice than juju .Clean, beautiful floors and decor, and first come first serve on seats. So if you go with a group, have someone save a seat.Theres alot of parking nearby, many colorful murals, and spots to check out.
So let’s start the decor is gorgeous and the live music during brunch was great. However, when the violinist wasn’t playing the music was to loud we were basically yelling across the table. The brunch plate was horrible first the cashier didn’t put home fries for my plate. Then once the home fries came out it was salty. It taste like Lawry’s seasoning salt was just poured on all over and cooked it was fried to hard. The glasses they brought out was dirty for our mimosa flight. Wouldn’t recommend.
What a beautiful and peaceful environment. We absolutely love it. Definitely a necessary staple in the city of Dallas
This place is a whole vibe! Beautifully decorated with African American artist accents… the music in the background is smooth and warm. I love it❣️
I had a great treat yesterday grabbing a Mocha at @soireecoffeebar. It’s a beautiful spot and Black-owned business. I had the opportunity to chat with one of the owner’s. Her eyes danced with the excitement of the business launch and the ongoing support of the community. They are taking a strong desire to bring more Black-Owned products throughout the coffee house. You’ll have the opportunity to have pastries, water, coffee and coming soon liquor cocktails with café. ( I’m looking forward to that.)You can be on the lookout for collaboration with eateries in pop-up food events. There’s oodles of room inside and out. The plush sofa, gleaming lighting for reading, deep purple seating and beautiful murals. It’s a feast for your eyes. Crazy enough I picked a day they closed early 😩 but it secured me desire to go back. I resumed finishing my coffee and reading my book. This is a great people watching spot. Definitely check them out during the week or on the weekend when they have live entertainment or DJ from time to time. It’s a spot you should put in rotation....
Love this place, heavy traffic on the weekends. The vibe is great, coffee is good and lemonades were Delish. Looking forward to one coming toFar North Dallas.
Soiree had been recommended to me as a Starbucks alternative to vibe out and work. I finally gave in reluctantly after a few months and I must say the staff and the environment exceeded my expectations. I literally stayed and work for 6 hours and made some great connections. Plus I luck up and came on a day they were serving brunch. My Boujii entree was amazing! Highly recommended.
Horrible customer service. Do not hold themselves accountable for mistakes on their end with their order taking system
Damion, the bartender, is excellent! Each time I visit he provides personable service, good conversation and always ensures that my nieces and I are taken care of. My favorite drink is his smoked old fashioned, but everything he makes is delicious! They also have nice dessert and black owned coffee.
Wonderful place to get some work done and the breakfast items were delicious. Love our black owned Dallas family and hope to see their continued growth and success. Open an Oak Lawn location please!
Amazing service, beautifully decorated with a classy and relaxing ambiance. Delicious! Conveniently located in Trinity Grove area with ample parking, the new jazzy place to be in Dallas! Weekends offer a one of a kind Brunchaholics menu for those with an appreciation for brunch with a twist, using classic soul food cuisine.
My go to place for coffee in the DFW! Love the vibes & atmosphere in Soirée! The staff is always super friendly & the quality of the food is always top tier 💫
This experience was dope as heck!! We went at the end of brunch and still received dope service, nice clean & cozy venue! Playlist was jammin and the owner showed everyone in there loveHooked us up with a mimosa instead of throwing em out. They have live music on Saturday & Sunday’s too. Ima run it back and actually make it for the music.Definitely recommend this spot!!#BlackOwned #WomenOwned
Oh my goodness!!! This coffee shop is a very nice vibe!! They had beautiful music in there and Samantha made our coffee and it was sooooo delicious!! If I come back through Dallas I will definitely come back to this coffee shop. Thank you for the delicious coffee!!
Nice vibe, but the food was slow coming out 30-45 minute wait, but it was really good once I got it.
An amazing high in black on establishment located near the Margaret Hunt bridge very sophisticated location at the very caring and classy staff and owners
First time visiting Soirée and I love it. It’s a jazz themed cafe. I drove past it last weekend and was thrilled at seeing melanated people enjoying the day. I ordered the Lemon chicken and blueberry pancakes w/ricotta cheese. The coffee was smooth and delicious. I had the Ella Fitzgerald iced coffee. I recommend this spot if you are looking for a chill relaxed vibe with great food and coffee.
Went here on a whim with a few girlfriends on a hot summer day and had a fabulous experience! I got the lavender lemonade and it was delicious! Definitely would come here again!
All around amazing. Some of the best coffee in town. Staff was beyond my expectations. Music was right where you want it to be. Outside area great (No direct sun).
Took my daughter here for coffee last Sunday (7/18). We both loved it and will be back to try the food. Great service and coffee selections!
I come here often and every time it takes a solid 15 minutes for me to get my coffee even if no one is in front of me in line. There needs to be more than 1 person so they aren’t tied up with getting orders and making the coffees.
Wheww! Vibes high! If you are in the area and have time for brunch with amazing food and live music stop by. Black excellence!Gets packed quickly, so be prompt!
I absolutely love this coffee bar! The staff is great and their coffee and food are delicious.
My favorite after church spot its a must..the diversity the live great service drinks food and the live music is the best in the DFW
My friend and I visited for the 1st time today, and I must say the atmosphere, the service, and the food was phenomenal. Im going to treat myself and friends a couple times a week.
Very clean. Great atmosphere and excellent customer service. Good food and fast
It deserves 10 stars, better than any big name coffee! The coffee...honey and hint of lavender so delicious and smooth!Soothing jazz and outstanding service. Im in love and have found my new favorite coffee shop!!!
They’re food was really good. Had a chicken Cesar salad and a monte cristo toast. Both really good. The drinks also very good. (Edit) The second time I visited they closed 30 minutes after my arrival and coffee purchase. After my complaint they were a bit rude and blamed me for not knowing they would close for training.
Dont let Google search fool you into believing this is a daily brunch spot. There is only brunch on the weekend. I made that mistake and had to order of the small lunch menu. It seems like most people have good reviews but maybe today was just a bad day for them. They were out of a lot of things, no bananas, no croissants, no turkey for the Monty Cristo Sandwich. Hopefully they get this issues worked out. They were really nice and its a pleasant environment.
Soireé Coffee Bar is definitely a vibe!My friends and I have made this our weekly hang out spot. Were here at least twice a week. We bring our laptops and work on our businesseses while fellowshipping with each other. Brunch this past weekend was everything!Make sure you grab a Ella! 🤤 Thank me later.
I’m not a coffee drinker so I didn’t realize the latte had espresso in it (which makes me loopy, jittery, drunk feeling etc.) & they switched it right out for me 😊 Decor is super cute & I love the music. However, the gnats/fruit flies put a damper on the experience. They should get one of those little catchers from amazon.
I love coffee shops and this is one Im excited to get to know better. On my first visit they had wonderful variety of bakery available. The sweet potato pie was hard to pass, so I didnt. I grabbed a recommended coffee drink (Ella Fitzgerald) with salted brown sugar and it delivered. The staff were nice, warm, and made me feel at home. The mood: bright, artistic, and inspired. I feel comfortable coming here to do a little work on my laptop, but the food options are telling me my experience can be far more rich. A bonus: It sits right along the stunning Dallas skyline.
I think me and mom found a new morning spot! The staff was very nice and the food was great!Go support Black owned businesses!
The staff is nice. The food is AMAZING. I highly recommend.
As a Chef,I dont go to too many places to dine or eat. I love to support our own. This place is awesome. The ambiance is very comfortable, and top notched. The food is presented well and tastes awesome. I tried to blueberry lemon pancakes that were light abd fluffy. My husband said the chicken is off the chain!!We will definitely be back. If you havent been here, I highly recommend making a trip because its worth it.
This was such a disappointing visit. I can only share my experience waiting on food for an hour and half I never received. I was initially told the WiFi went down & it would take 30 minutes. Well, 50 minutes later I checked with bartender for status of order & was told they ran out of trays they serve food on & they were working on my order. I requested refund after waiting 1.5 hours & noticed others behind me in line were already served. I explain this to cashier, she only offered apology & nothing else (not even a glass of water). She said the system went down & they didn’t know which tickets were first. Still, this is not acceptable b/c tickets are timed stamped and receipts are numbered. I’m not sure which is true the plates or WiFi (which I doubt b/c it worked just fine outside). This was so disappointing. This was my 1st & last visit… I’m glad I had my iPad to keep me occupied.
AMAZING experience. Beautiful spot. Great customer service and the owner was super humble. Highly recommend this spot. I am definitely going back and taking all my friends here
Loved it. Great place and amazing service. You can take photos inside and outside. The vibe is there!! Definitely going back. Also close to downtown and free parking
Great spot! Coffee and breakfast were fantastic! Staff was very friendly and courteous! You need to come here!!
Nice place with cool vibes unfortunately the food was horrible and PRICEY!!! I was excited by the menu and ordered a bunch of stuff that I wasnt happy with AT ALL.
We had a great brunch experience here. It did get a bit crowded but the food and coffee were exceptional! Truly a great time! I had the Chicken Peach Cobler French toast and truly had a great meal!
Atmosphere: Nice VibeClean & comfortableTheme: Honors Jazz Musical legends
Yesterday was our 1st time at this coffee shop. Wed traveled from Fort Worth and we enjoyed our coffee, food and overall vibe of the shop. We just wish the customer service and organization could have been a lot better.
Beautiful place. If I lived in Dallas I would definitely be there all the time.
Not a good experience at all. Nice people, but horribly slow and unorganized service (from the ordering of my drink to serving was close to an hour). After waiting all of that time, the specialty coffee drinks were really bad so much so that one of my friends simply threw hers in the trash. Menu is way too limiting on the weekend. Unfortunately, I will take a pass on returning.
The coffee is amazing, the service is friendly, the environment is classy! I’m so happy to have found this place. Will definitely be back!
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL ESTABLISHMENT!!!! GREAT ATMOSPHERE!!! GREAT LEADERSHIP! FRIENDLY AND NICE EXPERIENCE.
The aesthetic to this place is amazing for a WFH environment. Was quiet and I felt so relaxed to get all my work done.THE TEA CAKES!!!! Y’all THE TEA CAKES, I crave the red velvet one.I did have a little delay in service and receiving my order 30min late, as one of the servers completely forgot about it, but once I notified the other server, she solved the problem very quickly, and gave me a complimentary tea cake for the situation.
Solid coffee spot with “adult coffee” options as well. Stopped in on a quiet Friday morning and tried the hot dulce de leche that was recommended by the barista. Really good coffee and ambient jazz music make it a cozy spot.
I love everything about this place. The food and coffee never disappoints. It is a great vibe!!
Nice and cozy friendly and stylish coffee shop, love it..
LOVED the food and the overall vibe. Absolutely recommend for a snazzy brunch.
Although there is a limited menu, the food was delicious. The chicken soul food tacos were amazing. The atmosphere is unparalleled.
This coffee bar was amazing! The food was amazing and tasty! I ordered a bread bowl filled with shrimp, sauce and herbs. The owners were so friendly and spiritually connected! I will be back!!! They both really deposited into my son💜
Horrible experience, very unorganized. I wanted to give them a shot instead of another coffe shop but with the wait time I had to wait It was rediculous. They had like 6 people staffed three were just talking instead of helping.
Totally amazing. A great atmosphere. Pastries, coffee and cakes are on point. The music on weekends and peacefulness during the weekday mornings are perfect. I would suggest you get here on a Saturday. I heard Sunday is out the door traffic. Enjoy, Dallas needs places like this. Oxtails, rice and gravy FIRE.
Awesome people who run this place. A must try!
Nice, Relaxing, Mature Atmosphere! Very pleased with our 1st visit.
Good food, good vibe, good mimosas, and good music. Great place to go for a good brunch!
Never dissapoints, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH FOOD TO MATCH. Topped off with music and a wonderful atmosphere.
Amazing bar! Had the best mojito of my life there. Very supportive of local artists and giving them performance opportunities, black owned 🙏🏿 all round swell spot! WIPTX Held the Jam session closer there June 18th feat, Zavior, Andy Moontown, Rob the Hippie, Group Nameless, The Pham, and Ben and Rob from Austin! Blessed times
I love this place. The food is excellent with service to match. They also have live music. I cant wait to go back
The food was delicious! Wells seasoned without a salty taste! The mimosas were on point too!
It’s a whole vibe! Definitely a place to check out
Really good iced coffee and tea and the owner is a very kind man! Definitely recommend
I like the coffee shop very much. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Especially on the weekends when you just want to get away from the house. I like that they have the live band because music is good for the soul. Great Guys
What waste of time and money. Ham and cheese croissant was a mess. Coffee was just ok. Wasnt informed they only sale soul food on weekends. Never will return. Only good thing was the music and cute guys coming in for coffee
Went today and loved this place. The soul good tacos are good as always. The coffee was so good though! It’s definitely a vibe that’s in a nice area for ‘us’. I’ll definitely be back!
The environment here is quieting and stunning. From its receptiveness, high roof, delicate lighting, huge windows for public surveying, to the seating booth covering the east wall. The espresso is quite pricy for a bistro, normal expense is around $8. Im not whining, I do accept once in a while it merits the cost for something different. There were laptops and MacBooks open from one way to another on my visit. I additionally notice the customer base normal age was around late 20s to mid 30s. This is a spot I would strongly prescribe my young grown-up kids to visit.
Lovely ambiance, the space is very warm and welcoming. Few drink options, but they all sound good. I got the Billie holiday and my husband got the Ella Fitzgerald. I love to support small, black owned businesses so I will be back, especially when they have live music.
