Phenomenal espresso and tea. Havent tried the coffee yet, but definitely will soon. Professional and friendly service. Will be back often.
One of the Best coffees I have had.Iced Vanilla Oat Milk Coffee was $7.38. No price postings anywhere that I saw .I was not really paying attention to them make it but my sister described it as they kinda just swirled the syrup and everything and gave it to us, which made sense since the bottom was more sweet then the top. It came out too fast... for my liking.Again, it was an amazing drink, just tiny and way over priced and not being open about their pricing.
Awesome boutique coffee spot in a cool new development. Limited menu makes for easier decisions, although I really wished they had a few more options. Staff was super nice, ambiance was quiet and clean.
Skilled baristas who are very knowledgeable about coffee. Usually pretty good for black coffee or vanilla lattes, however the mocha is more bitter and overpriced. Drink is a 12 oz iced mocha with one extra shot and oat milk. It was $9.03 before adding tip. So basically $10+ for a drink that is really only 8 oz after ice. I could never justify this price for this product. Come here for the drip instead!
Super nice place to grab a coffee and relax a little on the patio
Coffee is good and counter staff was friendly. Otherwise this was disappointing. Handicapped parking is in rear of building and one must walk up steps to access facility. Large coffee is same size as competitors’ mediums, and more expensive than competitors’ larges. Had to forage for a top at separate counter because they don’t attach one at service counter. And, they don’t accept cash. I will not return.
Dirty Chai tea latte was ok but a fair price. Interesting indoor outdoor set-up. Perfect place to hang out if you are waiting for an appointment, family or friend at the nearby hospital.
This coffee shop was such a nice find. I stumbled across this beauty while charging my car. The batista was amazing and very outgoing. He made the best Chai latte anyone could ask for! I like the uniqueness of the establishment. I was able to work here and the vibe was awesome. He was able to direct me to different food establishments in the plaza. Please if you stop by here you will not be disappointed.
Coffee is SOOO good. It’s a little overpriced, but u come here once a week because of how much I enjoy the taste. Def recommend! It’s kinda small too so work in, so it might’ve be difficult.
After being a customer for many years, thanks for showing me today how far your customer service has fallen to at this location. Definitely not returning again.I do not recommend this location for coffee-enjoying experiences.
I travel for work and can give you a coffee shop recommendation for most major cities in the US. There are three major criteria I evaluate: coffee, food, people. The coffee (most important) gets 5/5 here. They have consistent coffee with nuance in both the hot and cold variety. The food gets 4/5. They partner with local bakers and everything Ive had has been delicious. The inventory is extremely hit or miss with scraps left by lunch. The people get 2/5. Ive been coming to Houndstooth for 2-3 years and have seen numerous employees come and go. The employees at Houndstooth seem unhappy and it comes across in the interactions. Portland/Seattle/New York baristas seem friendly in comparison.
If youre looking for a trendy coffee spot, this definitely fits the bill! Its a clean and modern look with decent coffee. Not the best spot to set up for working or studying but its fun to go for coffees sake!
Great coffee with lots of options. The atmosphere itself is really cool! Outdoor area is nice, good seating, and very friendly baristas! Hounds tooth is my favorite place in town to get coffee.
Quality coffee, very high prices. If you buy a 20$ 12oz beans bag they do not give a free cup with it. Not a great value.Takeaway cup dissolved while in the car for ten minutes and leaked. Not super friendly either. Also, why do baristas need to ask for you to fill out the tip form? Just give me a receipt. Tired of tipping for people to do the most basic jobs.
Okay coffee and drinks, also hilarious how all of the patrons are cardboard cutouts of each other.
Love the coffee here! Wish they had a drive through, but worth having to get out of the car lol!
Adorable shop! The staff member who made my coffee was bright and kind. The coffee itself was delicious. Will be back!
Right next to a tesla super charger so extremely convenient. Coffee and staff were great.
Met a friend for coffee Thursday morning around 10.30. Not an awful lot of seating, and mostly high stools. Theres an outdoor area (too cold atm), and an annexed work room where you can set up shop. There are no breakfast burritos at this location unfortunately. But there are delicious donuts! Recommended.
We hop on for a coffee as it was a busy day for us. There were not so many people, so my order was ready quickly.
Great little coffee shop on Walnut Hill Lane. Staff is very polite and professional.
Never again. The staff must only be friendly if you come in with a mask. I was grabbing a drip coffee to go and was in and out in less than 3 minutes. I had to buy a mask for $1, no big deal as I respect their mask rule but at least be semi nice about it. Now the coffee, extremely tart without any other flavor.
My chai tea tasted great :)! Good pick-me-up… very friendly staff, thank you!
Good place to eat a light n fresh breakfast.
Hung out to this place this morning after looking on Google maps for coffee shop. Super cool location and very unique set up. Not tons of seating so we ended up standing. That was okay we didnt mind at all. The baristas were super nice and did a great job. The only issue was it seems like the milk in my cappuccino got too hot and broke down the sweetness. Was just my first time there so could have been a one-time thing.
Great place to go for your morning coffee
Super cute trendy coffee spot, great outdoor area to hang and drink a delicious cup of caffeine. Great coffee choices and very cute inside.
Foxtrot house blend drip coffee was slightly sour and had very little flavor overall. Slightly better than Civil Pour, across the parking lot. There is no point to drinking this.----------EDIT: Please disregard the rest; it was a jerk move by me to have made assumptions about the owners and to have prescribed actions for them.----------The owners should travel and experience good coffee and try again.
The coffee is decent. No issues there. But theres no soul, no atmosphere. The staff looks miserable and like they just dont really care about making good coffee. They get you in and out relatively quickly (though they lost 3 customers to the wait in the ten minutes I was there so maybe my standards are different?)Just dont expect a smile, friendly banter, or anything. But do expect them to ask for a tip.
Coffee was okay a little too tart and berry flavored for me. Sort of annoyed that the staff thought they were actually good at making coffee. Just because the decor is cool doesnt mean you can make coffee. They made assumptions about how I wanted my coffee and didnt ask or clarify. Ended up being way too sweet for my taste and I had to buy more shots to make it palatable. Super frustrating.
Best Coffee Ive had in my life!! If you are looking for more subtle coffee then try Houndstooth. Welcoming staff and nice environment!😀💖
Iced vanilla latte was pretty good and great customer service from the baristas on 5/23 afternoon
Coffee is really good and the outdoor seating is nice in morning time, good place to get caffeine and vit D 😂
My favorite coffee spot in Dallas! So good every time
Fantastic little spot that doesnt try and hide the coffee flavor with a bunch of extras, they just concentrate on the coffee itself! Delicious latte and cafe au lait is what quenched our coffee thirsts today! Space is a bit limited, but this coffee shop and surrounding shops and restaurants is a great place to spend a few hours!
Tweed isn’t my favorite coffee in DFW but my Guatemalan cortado today was quite excellent. The prices are unreasonably high for the quality in my opinion, but it is located in a very ritzy neighborhood. The baristas were friendly, albeit not as talkative as this extravert enjoys. The inside was freezing cold but I understand that is how many prefer it to be. Overall, this shop is super cool - the building design, general aesthetics, and focus on sustainability are not wasted. It’s a decent trek from South Grand Prairie but I wouldn’t mind returning if I happen to be in the area. (Also, they have Tesla chargers!)
Very friendly staff and great taste.
Very limited seats. Only welcome for coffee drinkers. Hope they have other beverage menus.
I really enjoyed the coffee at the Henderson location that I bought to go. I visited this location to buy some whole bean coffee to make at home. Unfortunately, I purchased the foxtrot. After drinking it I poured it out. I returned to ask the employees if the beans were old or not roasted properly as I showed them the coffee beans in the bag. The beans were light in color and extremely dry. I left and dumped the remaining whole coffee beans in the flower bed. Freeze dried Taster’s Choice is vastly superior.
Was in the Silverware Sunset Junction (where Sunset meets Santa Monica Blvd on the TX and just ate at nearby Maam Sir or else I would have wanted to try one of their baked goods. They look yummy. Next time. The espresso roast is lighter than Starbucks with fruity notes.
Incredible coffee and friendly, prompt service.
These guys have the art of the cappuccino down to a science.
Great coffee, awesome atmosphere, and excellent service! We just moved in down the street and Im super excited to have a great coffee shop nearby again. The prices are reasonable and if you get there early enough they have breakfast pastries. Ill be returning frequently for my morning caffeine fix!
This place makes great coffee. Friendly service is the bonus.
Good coffee and friendly staff. This is my first visit
Good vegan options.
Coffee tasted good but temperature was not hot enough. Coffee was warm after a few sips but the taste was great. I had the reserve coffee El Salvador. Ambience is good and store is well designed. I would not, however, go here to get work done or study. The main building where you buy the coffee has high chairs and barely any counter space. The other building is like a lounge but there are these tiny tables that would barely fit a laptop. Honestly, no table space where i can get some work done or study is a major let down with this location and for that reason I would not return. I like the coffee but they need to add some tables so customers can actually have some space to work. Im sure this design was intentional to prevent customers from hanging out for long periods of time studying or getting work done. If that is the case then it worked as I barely spent 15 minutes in the store. Dunn brothers in Addison gives me a good working space with great coffee. Will not return.
Great atmosphere in a great location
Great Coffee - No breakfast tacos! The espresso and coffee is really stellar, setting is nice and modern, but not particularly cozy. The Google description mentions breakfast tacos, but they definitely only serve pastries as a food option as of Jan 2020.
Very good coffee
What an amazing place.
Delicious Coffee but a lil bit expensive
Great customer service and coffee
Food is fresh and tasty
Love other Houndstooth locations, but for some reason I seem to always get a bad pull of espresso from this one. They use great coffee so that’s not it.... usually pulls too sour or bitter. Also a terrible place to get work done, no real tables or places to put a computer, just these awkward little spots.Overall a pass. Check out Civil Pour around the corner.
Great coffee, interesting spaces
Great coffee, awesome atmosphere, and excellent service! We just moved in down the street and Im super excited to have a great coffee shop nearby again. The prices are reasonable and if you get there early enough they have breakfast pastries. Ill be returning frequently for my morning caffeine fix!
Houndstooth is our favorite coffee shop, hands down. They have amazing roasts, blends and single origin that rotate regularly. They also have amazing pastries (try the chocolate orange donuts!!). They have a beautiful dog-friendly patio to hang out and if you get your coffee for here you can enjoy it outside in a real coffee mug. They also have a nice indoor work space.
Not sure if it is not overpriced?
Really nice spot. I wish there was more seating but a great workspace! The staff is super friendly and the quality of the coffee was 👍🏽
Great Coffee - No breakfast tacos! The espresso and coffee is really stellar, setting is nice and modern, but not particularly cozy. The Google description mentions breakfast tacos, but they definitely only serve pastries as a food option as of Jan 2020.
They have some great espresso, delicious.
Adorable little minimalistic Austin-based coffee shop with friendly service. The decor is simple and modern and the menu is small but adequate. Im not a big coffee drinker but Houndstooth makes a pretty good vanilla latte. The cups have a cute small image of the state of Texas at the bottom that you see when you finish your coffee. There is somewhat limited seating but they do have an additional seating area that isnt attached to where you actually go to order your drinks. I probably wouldnt recommend studying here - its a great for catching up with friends. It is also a little pricey but at least the drinks are good.
Friendly and highly skilled staff, one of the best cappuccinos in the city, all in a well-designed shop with cozy outdoor seating. Also loved the cupping demonstrations! Only feedback I would give is to play music in the seating annex, sometimes it gets too quiet in there!
A bit expensive for what you get, and Id love more comfy seats... but I know great coffee & they have it. Is new & bright. Lots of natural light, also seating outside for when its nice. will be a good spot to bring your dog & have good coffee
$6.29 for a small vanilla latte that’s so mediocre? No thanks.
I love this coffee shop (this location in particular)All of their seasonal drink options are delicious and their service is phenomenal. The assure everyone leaves with a drink that they will enjoy, and they try their hardest to make flavor profiles that are palatable to even the least experienced coffee goers. The location is clean and well maintained and the overall experience is an enjoyable one ☕️☕️☕️
Excellent service
I was in the area to grab coffee before work and found this spot. Best iced lavender latte Ive had and customer service! I suggest going early in the morning to get work done and get good parking!
Cute little coffee shop right down the street of where I live! Theres outdoor seating and a separate indoor room if you need some quiet work space. Not to mention the coffee is amazing!
Asked for a iced mocha double chocolate no ice what I got was a breve taste like half-and-half no chocolate and the espresso was not that great
Highly recommend this coffee shop for everyone to try (especially coffee enthusiasts). The coffee was very good! Very polite staff and knowledgeable about their coffee. Unique interior design. One of the workers there told us to checkout …
Excellent handmade coffee. Much better than Starbucks. A little expensive but at least youre getting a quality cup non drip, espresso coffee
I just love this place! I work from home, so when I just need to get out of the house, or the kids are home with my husband, this is my go to! Great unique coffee and food selection. I was surprised how yummy the food is! Almond Butter toast and steak wrap are my faves!!Owned by a wonderfully kind family!
The sweet latte is the best. Not too sweet just perfectly compliments the sweetness of the steamed milk and espresso. Also, has a beautiful aesthetic.
Amazing cappacinos. Staff was friendly and it’s a very nice place.
Good quality of coffee and the coffee was delivered in time
Recommend the Cold Brew 👍
